Abstract

Population growth increases the demand for clean water and the generation of waste. To address this issue, Building Z utilizes Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Rainwater Harvesting System (RHS) technologies to conserve water usage. Building Z utilizes The WWTP to treat wastewater into reusable water, while the RHS processes rainwater into a viable alternative water source. This study examines the potential effectiveness of WWTP and RHS in water conservation at Building Z. The treated water is reused for plant irrigation and toilet flushing. The analysis reveals that the WWTP achieves an effectiveness of only 36,97% per month, as the volume of treated water exceeds the irrigation and toilet flushing needs and cannot be used for other needs, therefore the surplus water discarded into municipal drains. The effectiveness of the RHS varies depending on rainfall intensity. The analysis uses average annual rainfall data over the past 10 years for this study. Results indicate that the RHS achieves an effectiveness of 2,15% per month during low rainfall periods, rising to 24,72% per month during high rainfall periods. Abstrak Peningkatan populasi menyebabkan bertambahnya kebutuhan air dan produksi limbah. Untuk menanggapi masalah ini, Gedung Z memanfaatkan teknologi Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) dan Sistem Pemanenan Air Hujan (SPAH) untuk menghemat penggunaan air. Gedung Z memanfaatkan IPAL untuk mengolah limbah menjadi air yang dapat digunakan lagi, serta SPAH untuk mengolah air hujan menjadi sumber air yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali. Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi efektivitas IPAL dan SPAH untuk penghematan air pada Gedung Z. Hasil limbah yang telah diolah akan digunakan kembali untuk penyiraman tanaman serta kloset. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa, efektivitas IPAL hanya mencapai 36,97% per bulannya, hal ini dikarenakan volume hasil olahan IPAL melebihi volume kebutuhan penyiraman tanaman serta kloset dan tidak bisa digunakan lagi untuk kebutuhan yang lainnya, sehingga volume hasil olahan IPAL yang tidak digunakan akan dibuang ke saluran kota. Efektivitas SPAH memiliki nilai yang bervariatif yang dipengaruhi oleh tinggi rendahnya curah hujan. Penulis menggunakan curah hujan rata-rata tahunan selama 10 tahun terakhir untuk penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas SPAH hanya mencapai 2,15% per bulan dengan curah hujan yang rendah dan bisa mencapai 24,72% per bulan dengan curah hujan yang tinggi.

Abstract

Integrity and trust are fundamental in the legal profession, yet diploma forgery threatens these values, leading to ethical violations and diminished public trust. This study examines the legal implications of diploma forgery in Case No. 20/Pid.B/2024/PN Tmg, where an individual used a fraudulent diploma to practice law. Using a normative legal approach, the study analyzes court decisions, legal doctrines, and statutory regulations, including Article 263 of the Indonesian Penal Code and Article 69 of Law No. 20 of 2003. Findings reveal weaknesses in verification systems, allowing unqualified individuals to enter the legal profession. To prevent such fraud, the study proposes blockchain-based diploma verification, offering tamper-proof credentialing and real-time authentication. Stricter regulations, enhanced verification, and ethical awareness campaigns are crucial to safeguarding legal integrity. Adopting blockchain verification can restore public trust, ensure professional accountability, and uphold the credibility of legal institutions.

Abstract

Sustainable and technology-based tourism development is a necessity to face the digital era. This community service activity aims to support digital transformation in the Lombok tourism sector through the implementation of electronic tickets, as a step towards smart tourism. The implementation of electronic tickets is designed to improve operational efficiency, tourist comfort, and facilitate the management of tourist destinations. By utilizing information and communication technology (ICT), this system is expected to reduce queues at tourist locations, speed up the tourist entry process, and provide real-time data that is useful for destination managers. This activity involves training for tourism managers in Lombok, as well as the implementation of an electronic ticket system at Bangsal Port which leads to the 3 Gili tourist destinations, namely Gili Trawangan, Gili Medno and Gili Air, where ticket sales have so far been manual and managed by the Karya Bahari Bangsal sea transportation cooperative. The results of this program show an increase in the quality of tourism services and management efficiency, while encouraging the use of technology in the promotion and management of tourism data. With the success of this program, it is hoped that Lombok, especially the 3 Gili tourist area, can become a pioneer in the implementation of smart tourism in Indonesia, increasing its competitiveness as a modern and technology-friendly global tourist destination.Keywords: smart tourism; electronic ticketing; digital transformation; lombok Abstrak: Pengembangan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis teknologi menjadi sebuah kebutuhan untuk menghadapi era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung transformasi digital di sektor pariwisata Lombok melalui implementasi tiket elektronik, sebagai langkah menuju pariwisata cerdas (smart tourism). Implementasi tiket elektronik dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, kenyamanan wisatawan, serta mempermudah pengelolaan destinasi wisata. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), sistem ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi antrian di lokasi wisata, mempercepat proses masuk wisatawan, serta memberikan data real-time yang bermanfaat bagi pengelola destinasi. Tahapan pertama yang akan dilakukan dalam PKM ini melakukan identifikasi masalah, merumuskan masalah, menetapkan tujuan, pengumpulan data, pembuatan e-tiket, membangun sistem dan ujicoba, promosi melalui media sosial, pelatihan hingga sistem di implementasikan oleh mitra. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan wisata dan efisiensi pengelolaan, sekaligus mendorong penggunaan teknologi dalam promosi dan manajemen data pariwisata. Dengan keberhasilan program ini, diharapkan Lombok khususnya wisata 3 gili dapat menjadi pionir dalam penerapan pariwisata cerdas di Indonesia, meningkatkan daya saingnya sebagai destinasi wisata global yang modern dan ramah teknologi.Kata kunci: pariwisata cerdas; tiket elektronik; transformasi digital; lombok

Abstract

The authentication system is a monitoring system where if there is a network problem, it can provide information quickly. The research was conducted at Bumigora University, using 3 buildings as research materials implemented in the form of topology design. The monitoring is carried out to anticipate lost connections or network disconnections caused by certain factors. The Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method is the appropriate method for conducting this analysis, because it focuses on parameters such as network reliability and the ability to secure data transmission. The stages of the NDLC method consist of analysis, design, simulation prototype, implementation, monitoring and management, but in this study the author only used 3 stages, namely analysis, design, simulation prototype and implementation. The NDLC method has been proven to increase network security and reliability, as well as minimize downtime due to device failure or disconnection of data transmission. Automatic authentication implemented through NDLC allows real-time device monitoring, by connecting the API with telegram. Telegram will provide notifications in the form of network condition statuses that are experiencing problems. So that the IT team can control the condition of network devices through telegram notifications. This can facilitate network management and efficiency of checking time in maintaining the stability and performance of the network as a whole.

Abstract

The number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is less than 0.24 percent of Indonesia's population of around 238 million people. Therefore, according to the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Syarifuddin Hasan, the number of entrepreneurs still needs to be increased in order to support economic growth in Indonesia. Bumigora University as one of the private universities in Indonesia is very aware of the importance of entrepreneurship. Since 2019, Bumigora University has made Management Information Systems a course. This research method is descriptive qualitative which aims to implement experienced phenomena, such as behavior, perception, motivation, etc., comprehensively and descriptively in the form of words and language, in context. certain realms at certain times and using different realms. Based on the results of research conducted at UD. Angel Telur which is on JL. Adisucito, Ampenan, Mataram City: The implementation of this SIM is applied to UD MSMEs. Abstract

An agency will thrive if it is supported by qualified employees. So that employees are certainly one of the most important assets in an institution, both private and public institutions, so that agencies are required to recruit prospective contract employees who have competence and talent to support the implementation of work at the Open University of Mataram City. Skilled workers who can bring institutions forward and compete with other agencies so that they can keep up with the times, and the recruitment aspect is starting to get a special view, because the recruitment process is not in accordance with the needs at the Mataram Open University so that it can hinder the rate of development of the agency itself. Therefore, a decision support system is needed for the contract employee recruitment process at the Universitas Terbuka Mataram. Therefore, a decision support system is needed for the contract employee recruitment process at universitas Terbuka Mataram campus. This decision support system uses the Simple Additive Weighting SAW method. In this case, prospective employees are compared with one another so as to provide an output value of priority intensity which results in a system that provides an assessment of each employee. This decision support system helps evaluate each employee, make changes to the criteria, and changes the weight values. This is useful to facilitate decision making related to employee selection issues, so that the most appropriate employees will be received in the company. The purpose of this study was to select the best candidate for employees at the Universitas Terbuka Mataram. The results of this study indicate that the SAW method is appropriate for selecting the best prospective employees because it can obtain qualified employees in accordance with the expectations of the company and the leadership.

Abstract

Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia bertujuan untuk mewujudkan keamanan dalam negeri yang meliputi terpeliharanya keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, tertib dan tegaknya hukum, terselenggaranya perlindungan, pengayoman, dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, serta terbinanya ketenteraman masyarakat dengan menjunjung tinggi hak asasi manusia. Anggota Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia yang selanjutnya disebut anggota Polri adalah pegawai negeri pada Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia. Kepolisian Daerah Nusa Tenggara Barat (Polda NTB) adalah sebuah lembaga pemerintah yang bertanggung jawab dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Dalam menjalankan tugas ini, kehadiran personel yang tepat dan berkualitas sangat penting untuk mendukung tujuan tersebut, serta untuk menjamin efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional kepolisian. Saat ini, instansi ini belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung kebutuhan esensial seperti penempatan personel. Proses seleksi penempatan personel ini membutuhkan tingkat ketelitian standar yang tinggi dan perhatian ekstra, dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria khusus dan serangkaian tes yang dilakukan. Karena pentingnya proses ini, jika dilakukan dengan baik, dapat menghasilkan penempatan personel yang tepat, berkualitas, dan akuntabel. Dalam sistem rekomendasi penempatan personel Polda Nusa Tenggara Barat menggunakan metode analytical hierarchy process (AHP) dan profile matching. AHP berupa model pendukung keputusan yang fleksibel dalam bentuk struktur hierarki, yang memungkinkan individu-individu atau kelompok-kelompok memunculkan gagasan masalah berupa membangun perkiraan sendiri serta melahirkan pemecahan yang diinginkan, sedangkan profile matching adalah sebuah mekanisme pengambilan keputusan dengan mengasumsikan bahwa terdapat tingkat variabel prediktor yang ideal yang harus dipenuhi oleh subyek yang diteliti. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian antara lain kinerja, kedisiplinan, rohani, psikologi, kesehatan, jasmani dan kemampuan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

The availability of parking lots is a must for perkatoran, shopping centers (malls), universities and others.  Along with the ability of the public to have vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, it makes parking spaces difficult and takes a long time to get a parking space, this is because there is no service regarding information on the availability of empty parking slots, so there is no marker to know whether the parking lot is fully filled or not.  It is necessary to design a parking monitoring system tool, which aims to provide information on the availability of parking slots. Using the application design method by utilizing several object detection sensors including the Infrared Proximity Sensor and using the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol which functions as a wireless communication protocol. The results of this study show that the system works as expected, that the sensor can detect parking objects that are filled or still empty and the system data communication also works well, namely the sensor sends data to wemos D1, then sent to the MQTT Broker (server) then resumes to wemos D1 and then the data is sent to the message viewer device, namely monitors and LEDs. The LED light as an indicator gives a message, if the LED lights up in green, it means that the parking lot is not filled and if the LED lights up red, it means that the parking slot is filled.

Abstract

This study analyzes the structural and electromagnetic wave absorption properties of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4NPs) composite reinforced with reduced graphene oxide (rGO), synthesized from natural materials. The synthesis process involves the extraction of Fe3O4 from natural iron sources and the reduction of graphene oxide derived from biomass. Structural characterization was conducted using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to confirm the formation and morphology of the Fe3O4NPs/rGO composite. Electromagnetic wave absorption properties were measured using a vector network analyzer (VNA) in the 8–12 GHz (X-band). The results show that the Fe3O4NPs/rGO composite exhibits excellent electromagnetic wave absorption with a minimum reflection loss value of -4 dB at a thickness of 2 mm. These findings highlight the potential of utilizing natural materials in developing efficient electromagnetic wave absorbers, contributing to advancements in sustainable material science.
