Abstract

Religious guidance for individuals with autistic disabilities is an activity that provides religious knowledge to individuals with disabilities, facilitated through the Patas Talitis program conducted by the Ministry of Religion of the City of Bukittinggi. Meanwhile, this form of guidance is carried out to ensure that individuals with disabilities do not experience discrimination in the religious field, including religious guidance activities in the form of training and religious coaching provided to individuals with disabilities. The purpose of this guidance is to provide special attention and education to individuals with disabilities in the City of Bukittinggi, with the aim of enhancing the religious awareness of individuals with autistic disabilities, despite the limitations they may have. The method used in this service is qualitative descriptive. Through the Patas Talitis program, individuals with disabilities are guided in practical religious jurisprudence and moral faith activities, which are conducted for individuals with autistic disabilities, and are also carried out at Special Schools (SLB) specifically designed for autism. These religious development activities for individuals with disabilities have an impact on improving their religious awareness.

Abstract

Bukittinggi City faces significant disaster threats, particularly from earthquakes, Mount Marapi eruptions, and hydrological disasters. Disaster risk reduction mitigation activities are carried out through various schemes and programs. One such program is the Environmental Urban Resilience Program (Ketahanan Bencana Lingkungan Kelurahan or KBLK), implemented by the Bukittinggi City Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). The purpose of this research is to identify the types of activities undertaken by KBLK in disaster mitigation and to explore the roles of KBLK in disaster mitigation in Bukittinggi. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation, was employed to understand the issues and phenomena surrounding disaster programs. This study found that five KBLK organizations in Bukittinggi conduct disaster mitigation activities, including risk assessments, disaster response planning, and contingency planning, the formation of disaster risk reduction forums (PRB), capacity building for communities in disaster management, the integration of disaster risk reduction into urban development plans, as well as activity monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. The roles and functions of disaster mitigation activities as perceived by the community include raising awareness about disasters, enhancing vigilance, and providing understanding. The functions of disaster mitigation activities felt by the community include increasing their knowledge about disaster mitigation, understanding their local conditions, and enabling them to analyze and take      self-evacuation measures in the event of a disaster.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore spiritual education as a way to anticipate patient anxiety. This study applies a mixed-methods approach, namely combining quantitative and qualitative methods. In the quantitative section, the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) instrument was used to measure the level of anxiety of respondents objectively before and after the intervention. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach was carried out through in-depth interviews to explore the experiences and perceptions of participants regarding the intervention given. The results of the quantitative study showed that spiritual education can anticipate patient anxiety. It was found that the level of anxiety in the pre-test for most patients was at a moderate level, with 73.33%, whereas the level of anxiety in the post-test for most patients was at a mild level, with 66.77%. Qualitative results support this finding, with participants reporting increased inner peace, a sense of sincerity, and decreased fear when hospitalized. Spiritual education can handle anxiety through material on monotheism, dhikr therapy, and prayer, which are very effective when applied in hospitals to reduce the anxiety of hospitalized patients.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the independent curriculum at Al-Husnayain Panyabungan Mandailing Natal Integrated Islamic High School and find out the impact of the implementation of the independent curriculum and constraints on the implementation of the independent curriculum at Al-Husnayain Panyabungan Mandailing Natal Integrated Islamic High School. This research uses qualitative types. Primary data sources were obtained from teachers, principals, vice principals for curriculum, PAI teachers, administration and students in high school Integrated Islam Al-Husnayain Panyabungan Mandailing Natal. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documents. Data validity is done by extension of participation, persistence of observation, and triangulation. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) The implementation of the independent curriculum at Al-Husnayain Panyabungan Mandailing Natal Integrated Islamic High School went smoothly, well and actively. (2). The Impact of the Independent Curriculum on Learning of Integrated Islamic PAI Darul Hasan Al-Husnayain Panyabungan Mandailing Natal is: a. Positive impact, namely relevant and contextual learning, development of critical and analytical thinking activities, strengthening moral values and science, developing attitudes of tolerance and openness and increasing student involvement b. Negative impacts, namely curriculum fragmentation, understanding gaps, reduced focus on spiritual aspects and limited resources, resistance from stakeholders, integration of technology and the role of parents and society.

Abstract

Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang diketahui mewajibkan mahasiswa pascasarjana untuk mempublikasikan penelitian ilmiah adalah Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sjech M Djamil Djambek yang berlokasi di Kota Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka mahasiswa Magister Hukum Islam sebagai salah satu program studi di UIN Sjech M Djamil Djambek harus mempunyai pemahaman yang memadai terhadap metodologi penelitian, oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan mengkaji mengenai perbandingan metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh para mahasiswa Magister Ilmu Hukum UIN Sjech M Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Studi ini bermaksud guna mengetahui dan menjelaskan perbandingan metode penelitian yuridis normatif dan metode penelitian yuridis empiris serta untuk menjelaskan penggunaan metode penelitian dalam publikasi ilmiah di kalangan mahasiswa Magister Hukum Islam UIN Sjech M Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah penelitian empiris, dengan pendekatan sosiologis, yang bertitik tolak pada data primer berupa hasil observasi atau wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian yuridis empiris dan yuridis normatif mempunyai perbedaan dari segi tolak ukur, obyek kajian, sumber data penelitian, pendekatan, hipotesis dan hasil penelitian, kemudian penggunaan kedua metode ini di kalangan mahasiswa Magister Hukum Islam adalah sama rata dengan alasan masing-masing mahasiswa sebagai ukuran pemahaman terhadap metode penelitian hukum

Abstract

Penelitian skripsi ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya sebagian lanjut usia di Jorong Asampulau masih kurang dalam memahami nilai-nilai keagamaan. Ini berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat religiusitas lansia yang terlihat dalam kurangnya partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan keagamaan, lemahnya pengamalan ajaran agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran tuangku dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia dan bentuk-bentuk baminggu dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia di Jorong Asampulau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, informan dalam penelitian terdiri dari informan kunci tiga orang Tuangku, informan pendukung empat orang lansia, dan informan pendukung satu orang pengurus Surau Banda Gadang dan sekretaris wali nagari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, metode analisis data dilakukan dengan redukdi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan teknik keabsahan data dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan kecermatan, dan triangulasi sumber sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tuangku memiliki peran dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia di Jorong Asampulau diatara perannya yaitu sebagai memimpin sholat lima waktu, sebagai guru dan pemimpin dalam kegiatan majelis taklim. Selain itu tuangku juga berperan sebagai pembina dalam ibadah bagi masyarakat lansia. Dan bentuk-bentuk baminggu yang dilakukan di Jorong Asampulau yaitu; membaca ayat suci Al-Qur’an, bai’at, ceramah rutin, pergi berziarah ke makam Syekh atau guru, dan mengikuti sumbayang ampek puluah.

Abstract

Penelitian skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perilaku menyimpang berupa mesum dan balap liar di GOR Dharmasraya. Faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku menyimpang di GOR tersebut karena bangunan yang ada di GOR kurang memadai serta lemahnya kontrol sosial dari tokoh adat dan tokoh agama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan GOR sebagai ruang publik, bentuk-bentuk kontrol sosial tokoh adat dan tokoh agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci yaitu 2 (dua) tokoh adat dan 3 (tiga) tokoh agama. Sedangkan informan pendukung yaitu 4 (empat) yang terdiri dari tiga pedagang kaki lima dan Wali Nagari Koto Padang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, teknik keabsahan data dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan kecermatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontrol sosial dari tokoh adat dan agama yaitu kontrol sosial preventif dan represif. Kontrol sosial preventif yaitu tokoh adat membuat aturan di GOR sedangkan tokoh agama mebuat kegiatan keagamaan di masjid seperti tahlinan, pengajian rutin dan pembentukkan remaja masjid. Sedangkan kontrol sosial represif tokoh adat dan agama memberikan sanksi berupa sanksi ekonomi kepada pelaku yang melanggar aturan yang sudah dibuat.

Abstract

The limited application of varied, contextual teaching methods in Fikih learning has led to a gap in students' ability to connect religious concepts with real-life situations, limiting the development of 21st-century skills. This study investigates the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in Fikih education at Madrasah Aliyah and its effectiveness in enhancing students’ critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with a principal, one Fikih teacher, and students, as well as document analysis. Data were analyzed using thematic coding and triangulation to ensure validity. Findings reveal that CTL was implemented through key stages including constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning communities, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. Students showed improved engagement, deeper understanding of Fikih concepts, and increased ability to relate them to contemporary social issues. Challenges identified include varying student abilities and time constraints, which were addressed through differentiated instruction, teacher creativity, and stakeholder collaboration. The study concludes that CTL is an effective pedagogical model for Islamic education, particularly in fostering 21st-century competencies in Fikih learning. It highlights the need for continuous professional development for teachers, integration of authentic assessments, and the use of real-life contexts in religious instruction. Broader implementation of CTL is recommended to support holistic student development in Madrasah environments.

Abstract

This study examines Ratib Samman as a local Islamic ritual practiced in Jorong Salimpariak, West Sumatra, and analyzes its significance from the perspective of the sociology of religion. Using a qualitative approach that combines participant observation, in-depth interviews, and textual analysis of ritual recitations (radai), this research explores how Ratib Samman functions as a form of lived Islam embedded in local social life. The findings show that Ratib Samman is not merely a devotional practice but a multifaceted ritual that reinforces social solidarity, transmits moral and religious values, and shapes embodied religious dispositions. The use of religious poetry and synchronized bodily movements enables participants to internalize theological teachings while fostering collective identity and moral discipline. Furthermore, the ritual plays an important role in providing meaning and emotional support for individuals and families, illustrating how religious practices respond to social and existential concerns. This study contributes to the sociology of religion by demonstrating that local Islamic rituals should be understood as active social processes rather than passive outcomes of cultural acculturation. By foregrounding ritual practice, embodiment, and symbolic meaning, the study offers insight into how religion continues to shape moral life and social cohesion in contemporary Muslim communities.

Abstract

The Minangkabau customary law, as one of the oldest customary legal systems in Indonesia, has a unique land management mechanism, particularly through the concept of ulayat land which is collectively managed by clans or tribes. The practice of leasing land use rights is one form of utilizing this ulayat land. However, the understanding of the community and government officials regarding ulayat land is not uniform, leading to conflicts related to its status and management. This study aims to analyze the re-actualization and contextualization of Minangkabau customary law in the practice of leasing land use rights through an Islamic legal sociology approach. The research method used is qualitative with literature study and document analysis, including Minangkabau customary texts, fiqh books, legislation, and scholarly journals. The research results show that the practice of leasing land use rights in Minangkabau is still influenced by local traditions, although modernization and globalization have changed land ownership patterns from communal to individual.
