Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of electronic land registration at the Padang City Land Office, which is part of the digital transformation agenda for public services in the land sector. The main problem in this study is formulated in two questions: (1) How is the implementation of electronic land registration at the Padang City Land Office? and (2) How are efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of electronic land registration at the Padang City Land Office. This study uses an empirical juridical approach, namely a method that examines law as real behavior in society. Data were obtained through a literature study of laws and regulations, official documents, and interviews with Land Office employees, PPAT, and the community. This study uses the theory of legal certainty and the theory of legal protection as an analytical framework. The results of the study show that the implementation of electronic land registration at the Padang City Land Office is still in the early stages of implementation and has not run optimally. Although regulated by the Minister of ATR/BPN Regulation Number 3 of 2023, as of January 2025, the conversion rate from analog certificates to electronic certificates had only reached approximately 1.53% of the total land parcels in Padang City. Several major obstacles identified included inconsistencies between physical and electronic data, technical system disruptions, low digital literacy among the public, and incomplete outreach efforts involving the Padang City Land Office and the community.

Abstract

Terrorism problem in Indonesia is one of the main problems that caught a serious attention from government. Series of a terror incidents so far show that there is a serious problem that has not solved yet to be fixed. Indonesia in the report of Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2023 is ranked 24th from 163 countries that get most affected by terrorism with the total 638 incidents since 2000 until 2020. The terrorism action can endanger the security of nation and state. The consequence of that action are lost a life, a suspicion towards a particular race or religion, break up the nation's unity, damage physically and mentally, and raises fear in the society because the feel of threatened by the presence of terrorists. To deal with terrorism and radicalism, the government implements a program which known as deradicalization under National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT). With the deradicalization as the coaching program which aimed to change the terrorism convicts' radical character creates the expectation from public to the government in eradicating terrorism crime.

Abstract

Investigates the effectiveness of Focal Loss as a solution to the problem of class imbalance in multi-label fruit and vegetable classification tasks. Using a ResNet50-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture, two models were trained and evaluated: one using Focal Loss and another using Binary Cross-Entropy (BCE) Loss as a baseline. To address the availability of multi-label datasets, a synthetic multi-label dataset was created by combining images from existing single-label datasets. Experimental results show that the model trained with Focal Loss achieved an accuracy of 0.9390 and an F1-score of 0.9863, outperforming the BCE Loss model which only reached an accuracy of 0.8850 and an F1-score of 0.9718. The comparative analysis indicates that Focal Loss, with its ability to focus the training process on difficult examples, effectively addresses class imbalance and produces superior performance. This study concludes that Focal Loss is an effective tool for multi-label classification tasks and highlights the existing limitations, including the synthetic nature of the dataset and the limited training duration, which underscore the need for further research

Abstract

The intent of this community service activity (CSA) is to improve the understanding of 12th-grade senior high school students on the concept of metabolism in biology subjects by integrating knowledge of reaction rates from mathematics or chemistry subjects. So far, students often have difficulty in interpreting changes in the speed of biological processes, such as enzyme activity or cellular respiration, which can basically be modeled and analyzed using the principle of reaction rates. This CSA activity was carried out in the form of structured tutoring (Bimbel) in senior high schools in Wajo Regency. The methods used include (1) delivery of integrated material that explains the relationship between biological variables (e.g., substrate concentration, temperature) and reaction rate variables (e.g., initial rate); (2) analysis of existing biology experimental data, where students are trained to calculate and plot reaction rate graphs from enzyme activity rate data; and (3) interactive discussions to solve problems based on applications in the context of metabolism. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' abilities in (1) identifying and modeling the relationship between factors that influence metabolism with reaction rate equations, (2) interpreting enzyme activity and cellular respiration graphs quantitatively, and (3) connecting enzyme reaction kinetics curves with reaction rate curves (mathematics). The positive impact of this CSA is the creation of a deeper and more holistic understanding of biology, especially metabolism, through a quantitative approach. Therefore, it is concluded that tutoring that integrates the concept of reaction rate is very effective in bridging the gap in students' understanding of high school metabolic processes. This collaborative learning model is recommended to be implemented sustainably to strengthen students' numeracy and scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the audit procedures carried out by the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) HXX in assessing the fairness of revenue presentation in the 2024 financial statements of Cooperative JAS. Cooperative JAS is a cooperative engaged in employee daily needs services and savings and loan activities. During the audit process, it was found that the cooperative classified loan interest income from members amounting to IDR130,193,203 as other income, whereas according to the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP), such income should be recorded as operating revenue. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews with auditors from KAP HXX, while secondary data came from working papers and management letters. The results indicate that the audit procedures included understanding the entity and its environment, performing substantive testing, and analyzing management assertions related to revenue accounts. The auditor recommended reclassifying loan interest income to operating revenue in compliance with applicable accounting standards. Implementing this recommendation improved the transparency and fairness of  Koperasi JAS’s financial statements presentation. These findings highlight the importance of proper audit procedures in detecting revenue misclassification and ensuring the reliability of cooperative financial reporting.

Abstract

Photography is one of the fields of visual communication that has many enthusiasts in Indonesia. The development of cameras has undergone many changes over time, making a variety of camera options and components available, which creates confusion for consumers who are buying the camera that best suits their needs. Tsukamoto’s fuzzy method is a component of soft computing. In the Tsukamoto method, each consequence of an IF-THEN rule must be represented by a fuzzy set with a monotonous membership function. The purpose of making the application “Camera Selection Recommendation System with Tsukamoto Fuzzy Method at Photography Shop” is to explain the tsukamoto fuzzy method as one of the methods of selection techniques with criteria and also provide recommendations for camera buyers according to the desired criteria in the hope that people who are unfamiliar with cameras do not make the wrong choice when they want to buy a camera according to their functions and needs. The 'wrong choice' in this context refers to a functional mismatch where a consumer acquires a device that lacks essential technical specifications for their specific use case such as low battery endurance for outdoor shoots or insufficient video resolution for professional content or conversely, investing in high-end features that remain underutilized, leading to inefficient resource allocation.

Abstract

High school learning is generally divided into isolated subjects, with biology deemed rote learning and math as formulas with no practical value. In the data-driven digital age, high school students find it difficult to connect statistical or algebraic concepts to biological events like the spread of viruses and changes in ecosystems. Lack of connection between these fields reduces computational thinking and scientific literacy. This study examines whether the "Bio-Math Synergy" learning model improves high school students' transdisciplinary comprehension. The study used computerized techniques to incorporate ecology, genetics, function modeling, and basic statistics. This quasi-experimental study used pretest-posttest control groups. Eleventh graders from two Wajo Regency high schools studied. The experimental class utilized the "Bio-Math Synergy" model to analyze biology lab data through an interactive simulation platform and spreadsheets, while the control class employed traditional learning methods. The findings indicated the experimental class had much higher numeracy literacy results than the control class. Students learn that biology requires mathematics by modeling bacterial development and Mendel's rules digitally. Because STEM education felt more relevant to contemporary technology, an interest poll showed a 40% rise in student excitement for STEM jobs. This article provides a practical module for high school teachers to apply biology-math project-based learning (PjBL). This study supports digital-era education approaches that encourage critical thinking and cross-disciplinary problem-solving for Generation Z.
