Abstract

Construction workers, who work in physically and mentally demanding environments, experience high levels of fatigue, which is a major cause of accidents and occupational illnesses. Therefore, real-time measurement of fatigue is critical to managing the safety and health of construction workers. This study presents an innovative approach to measuring both subjective and objective fatigue through an integrated web-based system using reaction timer technology as a responsive digital measurement tool. The system has been developed using a flexible open source platform (WordPress) with the integration of specialized plug-ins for the automatic collection and analysis of fatigue data. The research method consists of two stages: (1) the development of an integrated fatigue measurement system for construction workers, and (2) a validation study to assess the feasibility of this method by comparing it with traditional methods such as reaction timers and KAUPK2 questionnaires, together with feedback from construction workers in the field (N=60). Participants were divided into three groups: the website group (N=20), the reaction timer group (N=20), and the questionnaire group (N=20). Results: Based on standardized measurements, participants were classified into three fatigue groups: high (6.67%), moderate (70%) and low (23.33%) across all measurement methods. Quantitative results showed statistically significant differences between the three types of fatigue measurement groups. Conclusions: This study highlights the advantages of the web-based system, which is accessible in real time and facilitates the continuous monitoring of fatigue at work. This innovation has the potential to improve the safety management of construction workers through the collection of relevant data and the integration of digital technology, which can be further developed in future research.  Keywords: Fatigue; Construction Industry Workers; Website; Work Fatigue Measurement

Abstract

Fire can happen anytime and anywhere without knowing it will happen. Fire incidents can cause significant losses, both material losses and human losses. Fires can occur due to various factors from electrical short circuits to individual negligence which can cause sparks that can result in the formation of a fire triangle that causes fire. This study aims to create an effective fire detection system by utilizing distributed multi-sensor technology in a microcontroller and then sent to the cloud so that it can be monitored in real time. The method in this research stage starts from needs analysis, design, implementation, integration & testing, verification, maintenance. The system built utilizes various sensors, namely the MQ135 smoke sensor, UVTron fire sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, BME280 air humidity sensor, wind speed and direction sensors. The data collected from these sensors is processed and then displayed via a web interface using the Laravel framework that can be accessed by users. The results of this study indicate that the system is able to provide effective and reliable early warning in potential fire situations.

Abstract

Developments in the field of technology are growing rapidly and have become one of the necessities of human life. The use of technology that is often used is only general but is not utilized better. The technology in question is planning and designing an intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) system for single-phase induction motors, namely electric machines that run according to the magnetic field induction from the rotor coil. This motor is most widely used by the public, especially in household equipment and some in industry, such as blowers, water pumps and others. In this research, the method that will be used is a prototype design method starting from literature study, model design planning, and an Internet of Things-based control and monitoring system. The results of this research will be in the form of a prototype, design and design of an intelligent control and monitoring system using IoT using Google Assistant. Creating commands on Relays that are associated with feeds on Adafruit IO is done before commands on IFTTT (If This, Then That). If Google Assistant fails to recognize the command made and the information associated with IFTTT, it will respond with a voice that cannot process the command.

Abstract

Filling in electricity tokens is very important for the continued use of electricity, be it filling up prepaid Kwh electricity tokens so that the need for automatic filling is urgently needed to reduce difficulties in filling in electricity tokens manually. In designing an Internet of Things (IoT) based system that is designed to provide automatic charging control remotely, using the ESP32 microcontroller, ESP32 CAM, and other components, this system can monitor the condition of the electricity meter and send notifications to smartphones when the pulse is nearing exhaustion. Furthermore, with the relay module, the system automatically enters the token code via a push pull solenoid. The test results show that this system can provide notifications with an average time of 41 seconds and sending messages for 43 seconds. ESP32-CAM sends data to a smartphone with a delay in sending messages and photos on Telegram, with the fastest speed of 2 seconds, sending messages for 3 seconds, and sending photos on average 6.2 seconds, from the results obtained that the tool that has been designed can provide increased comfort and efficiency for the user when the user is not at the Kwh of electricity location when the electricity token runs out soon.Keywords: Internet of Things, Sensor, Relay, Microcontroller

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi petani buah naga di Desa Sukamaju dalam memilih sumber pembiayaan. Metode peneltian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field Resech). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu instrumen kecil petani buah naga di Desa Sukamaju. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani lebih banyak memilih menggunakan modal sendiri dan sebagian lainnya menggunakan pinjaman dari teman maupun keluarga serta selebihnya memilih meminjam ke lembaga keuangan formal. Faktor pembiayaan petani buah naga meliputi faktor sosial ekonomi, faktor akses pembiayaan dan faktor risiko perubahan iklim.

Abstract

Penyediaan benih perlu di dukung fasilitas yang memadai. Dinas perikanan atau di sebut juga sebagai tempat produksi benih ikan merupakan salah satu industri pembenihan ikan di kabupaten sinjai. Kebijakan perencanaan produksi yang di lakukan di Balai benih ikan kec. Sinjai selatan selama ini di dasarkan pada suatu target produksi yang di tetapkan oleh bagian pemasaran ikan. Target produk tersebut merupakan hasil dari peramalan dan mempertimbangkan kapasitas produksi yang tersedia di dinas perikanan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu model matematis perencanaan produksi yang dapat mengatasi ketidak seimbangan proses perencanaan produksi serta dapat memenuhi jumlah tujuan yang ingin di capai oleh balai pembenihan ikan. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara simple random sampling yaitu teknik untuk mendapatkan sampel yang langsung dilakukan pada unit sampling. Dengan demikian setiap unit sampling sebagai unsur populasi benih ikan dapat memperoleh peluang yang sama untuk menjadi sampel atau untuk mewakili populasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa penentuan jumlah produksi benih ikan secara optimal dengan penerapan tehnik riset oprasi pada balai benih ikan di Desa Palangka, Kecamatan Sinjai Selatan Kabupaten Sinjai..

Abstract

Epistemology, as a major branch of philosophy, explores the sources, methods, and validity of knowledge. This study compares the epistemological foundations of science from Western and Islamic perspectives to identify differences in paradigms and potential synergies between the two. In the Western tradition, epistemology tends to be anthropocentric, prioritizing rationalism and empiricism as sources of knowledge. In contrast, the Islamic tradition integrates revelation, reason, and the senses in a theocentric framework, with the main goal of bringing humans closer to Allah. This study uses a descriptive-comparative qualitative approach, with literature analysis from various relevant sources. The research results show that Islamic epistemology offers a comprehensive approach that is able to complement modern Western scientific methods. In the context of globalization, synergy between the two paradigms can enrich scientific understanding while maintaining spiritual identity and Islamic values. This article recommends the development of an integrative approach to address contemporary challenges and build a more just and balanced civilization.Keywords: Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Western Perspective, Islamic Perspective, Integrative Approach

Abstract

Islam Berkemajuan yang diperkenalkan oleh Haedar Nashir merupakan paradigma yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk menjawab tantangan modernitas, seperti globalisasi, ketimpangan sosial, dan krisis moral. Paradigma ini bertujuan untuk mendorong umat Islam menjadi subjek aktif dalam pembangunan peradaban global yang inklusif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pemikiran Haedar Nashir tentang Islam Berkemajuan serta implikasinya dalam konteks lokal dan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, di mana data diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, dan dokumen resmi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam Berkemajuan menawarkan solusi melalui empat pilar utama: ijtihad kontekstual, pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam, kesetaraan gender, dan keadilan sosial. Selain itu, konsep ini memiliki relevansi global, terutama dalam mempromosikan dialog antaragama, keadilan sosial, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Namun, implementasinya menghadapi tantangan, seperti resistensi konservatif, kurangnya literasi keislaman, dan hambatan struktural. Dengan pendekatan inklusif dan kolaboratif, Islam Berkemajuan dapat menjadi panduan strategis bagi umat Islam dalam membangun peradaban modern yang berkeadilan.Kata Kunci: Islam Berkemajuan, Haedar Nashir, Ijtihad Kontekstual, Pendidikan Islam, Keadilan Sosial

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the potential utilization of fish bone waste from Sunu as a material source through characterization analysis using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) and XRF (X-ray Fluorescence). The results of the FTIR analysis show characteristic peaks indicating the presence of important functional groups such as hydroxyl, phosphate, and carbonate. The presence of calcium phosphate as a major component suggests the potential of this bone powder for biomedical applications, such as the production of bone implants and bioceramic materials. Additionally, the XRF analysis reveals high concentrations of calcium (84.8%) and phosphorus (13.5%), along with other relevant oxides, indicating its potential use as a nutritional supplement and building material. Overall, this study demonstrates that fish bone powder from Sunu holds significant potential for applications in the fields of health, food, and composite materials, while also supporting sustainability in fisheries waste management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII SMAN 2 Kota Bima melalui penggunaan media peta dan globe dalam pembelajaran geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media peta dan globe serta kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam prestasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 72,3 dan meningkat menjadi 86,5 pada posttest, sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan dari 71,8 menjadi 78,4. Uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,001 (p < 0,05), yang berarti penggunaan media peta dan globe berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media peta dan globe merupakan alat bantu yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi geografi serta prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bagi pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan media ini dalam proses pembelajaran guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
