Evaluation of education in Islam holds profound and complex significance, encompassing spiritual, moral, and intellectual dimensions. This study aims to examine the principles of educational evaluation from an Islamic perspective and its impact on character development and student knowledge. In this context, evaluation is viewed not merely as a tool for measuring academic achievement but also as a process for shaping the ethical and spiritual dimensions of individuals. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores classical and contemporary texts on Islamic education, as well as the evaluative practices implemented in educational institutions. The findings indicate that evaluation grounded in Islamic values can enhance students' spiritual awareness, strengthen moral integrity, and promote holistic learning. Consequently, educational evaluation in Islam serves not only to assess learning outcomes but also to guide individuals toward higher life goals in accordance with religious teachings.

This study analyzes the dominant discourse on the authenticity of the Qur’an in the perspective of Toshihiko Izutsu by employing a semantic approach and Michel Foucault’s power–knowledge framework. This research is a library-based qualitative study that uses Izutsu’s primary works as the main data sources, supplemented by contemporary literature on Orientalism and Qur’anic studies. The findings reveal that Izutsu constructs a dominant discourse affirming the authenticity of the Qur’an through a consistent analysis of internal semantic relations, thereby producing a counter-discourse that challenges the hegemony of classical Orientalist skepticism. This discourse is shaped by Izutsu’s linguistic mastery, cross-cultural intellectual experiences, and broad epistemic horizon, enabling him to interpret the Qur’an objectively and without theological bias. The study also demonstrates that Izutsu’s semantic method functions not merely as a linguistic tool, but as a mechanism of discourse production that establishes an alternative regime of truth within Qur’anic studies. Theoretically, this research strengthens the integration of discourse analysis and semantics in the study of religious texts, while practically it offers a methodological foundation for objective cross-religious research and for developing more critical and interdisciplinary approaches in contemporary Qur’anic studies.

This research analyzes the suitability of the salam contract with the pre-order system in Tokopedia . The pre-order system in Tokopedia allows buyers to order goods that are not yet available, with the seller promising to deliver them at a later date and payment is often made in advance. This mechanism shows similarities with the concept of a salam contract in fiqh muamalah, which is a sale and purchase contract in which payment is made in advance for goods that will be delivered in the future. However, to ensure Shariah compliance, it is important to observe the unique characteristics of Tokopedia 's pre-order system. This analysis focuses on the potential alignments and differences between the two. While there are fundamental similarities regarding upfront payment and delivery of goods at a later date, some aspects require more attention. These include issues such as item specifications, delivery timeframes, risk of transaction cancellation, and dispute resolution mechanisms in case of problems. Potential discrepancies may arise if the specifications of the goods are unclear, the delivery time is uncertain, or there are provisions that may disadvantage one of the parties. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the terms and conditions in Tokopedia 's pre-order feature explicitly fulfill the legal pillars and conditions of the salam contract, in order to provide legal certainty and sharia compliance for all parties involved in the transaction.

This study aims to examine the application of Islamic economic principles in the mineral water production process. There are three main pillars that are the focus of this study, namely tauhid (belief in the oneness of Allah), maslahah (public interest), and justice. Amidst the growing awareness of the importance of ethical and sustainable business practices, the sharia-based production model offers a relevant framework that is not only oriented towards material profit, but also towards the benefit of all parties. The primary objective of this research is to identify the extent to which these principles are integrated throughout the entire mineral water production chain, from the selection of water sources that must be maintained for sustainability, production processes that prioritize quality and cleanliness, to product distribution that ensures fair access for consumers. Furthermore, this study also aims to analyze how the application of these principles can add value to companies, not only in terms of reputation and consumer trust but also in creating positive social and environmental impacts. The analysis results indicate that the integration of Islamic economic principles in mineral water production has significant potential to form a holistic and sustainable business model. This implementation can serve as a guide for other industries to adopt more ethical and socially responsible business practices, in line with Islamic values.

This article to explain the development of social media in the digital era has brought significant benefits, but also presents ethical challenges such as the spread of Hoax es and hate speech. This study aims to examine these phenomena through the lens of the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad to establish normative foundations for ethical social media use. Employing a qualitative approach with the library research method, this study draws on primary data in the form of hadiths related to honesty, prohibition of lying, and communication ethics, as well as secondary data from contemporary literature on digital communication. The analysis is carried out using a descriptive-analytical method with a thematic (maudui’) approach. The findings reveal that hadith values such as the principle of ṣiddiq (truthfulness), prohibition against spreading everything one hears, and the encouragement to speak good or remain silent are highly relevant in addressing the spread of Hoax es and hate speech. These values can be implemented to promote ethical and responsible behavior in social media engagement. The study concludes that the application of hadith teachings offers a constructive solution for shaping a healthy and harmonious digital space, and represents Islam’s contribution to addressing the challenges of contemporary communication.

This study examines the textological approach applied to the manuscript of the Qur’anic mushaf coded 07.13 preserved at the Sang Nila Utama Museum, Pekanbaru, Riau. The research is motivated by the urgency of preserving classical Qur’anic manuscripts as cultural and religious heritage that reflects the development of Islamic scholarship in the Malay world. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the manuscript is analyzed through philological and textological perspectives, including codicological elements, writing characteristics, calligraphy style, orthography, and textual variants. The theoretical foundation of this study derives from philological approaches in Islamic manuscript studies, particularly those emphasizing textual authenticity and variant comparison. The findings reveal that Mushaf 07.13 displays distinctive features of Malay manuscript traditions, such as the use of traditional Arabic calligraphy with local stylistic adaptations and consistent rasm ‘Uthmānī orthography. Several minor orthographical deviations are recorded, which enrich understanding of regional Qur’anic transmission practices. This research concludes that the textological examination of Mushaf 07.13 highlights the importance of continuous preservation and scholarly documentation of Qur’anic manuscripts in regional museums as part of safeguarding Islamic intellectual heritage.

Based on an analysis of qualitative employee interview data, this study investigates the primary drivers of authentic workplace engagement beyond material compensation. The objective was to identify the non-transactional factors that foster sustained commitment and discretionary effort. The results revealed four interconnected themes: the primacy of meaningful work over perks; the critical role of managerial support in building psychological safety; the necessity of clear career trajectories for growth; and the profound impact of personalized, authentic recognition. The discussion indicates that perks and pay are merely foundational, while true engagement is cultivated through purpose, safety, growth, and feeling valued as a whole person. The conclusion underscores that engagement is a reciprocal relationship, where employees invest fully in organizations that demonstrably invest in their employees’ professional and personal value.

This paper investigates the strategic role of integrated Human Resources (HR) systems in translating organizational values into measurable business performance and employee experience outcomes. Employing a comparative analysis of transactional versus value-centric HR frameworks across key functions—onboarding, performance management, and overall employee experience, this study aims to quantify the impact of coherent cultural reinforcement. The results demonstrate that organizations employing ritualized, immersive onboarding achieve a 50% greater increase in productivity and foster cultural connection 18 months faster. Furthermore, performance systems that explicitly reward value-based behaviors significantly bridge the "say-do" gap, while a value-aligned HR strategy collectively boosts Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS), reduces regrettable attrition, and lowers recruitment costs. The discussion posits that these aligned practices transform culture from an abstract concept into a reliable operating system, driving psychological safety, innovation, and productivity. The conclusion asserts that embedding a consistent culture code into every people process is not merely an HR initiative but a foundational business strategy for building a resilient and high-performing organization.
