Abstract

The implementation of dawn prayers is an obligation for Muslims who are sensible and mukallaf. Sometimes Muslims are very difficult to carry out the dawn prayer because the time of implementation is in the morning, where that time is the hours when humans are enjoying sleeping. This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of dawn prayers, obstacles, and efforts in carrying out dawn prayers in PAI students of the class of 2022. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative approaches, where data collection uses interview, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of dawn prayers for PAI students of the class of 2022 is quite good with a percentage of 73%. The implementation of dawn prayers for PAI students of the 2022 batch also sometimes experiences obstacles with a percentage of 53%. And PAI students of the class of 2022 also always make efforts to be able to carry out dawn prayers with a percentage of 77%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the personality competencies of teachers in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection is carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that teachers at the Sulaymaniah Blang Bintang Islamic Boarding School have good personality competencies, which are reflected in their attitudes, values ​​and behavior. A positive attitude, integrity and teacher example are important elements in creating a conducive learning environment. Apart from that, the teacher's ability to communicate and manage emotions also contributes to harmonious interactions with students. This research confirms that teacher personality competencies not only influence the quality of teaching, but also play an important role in forming the character of students, so it is important for educational institutions to continue to support the development of these competencies through training and professional development programs.

Abstract

Ikan tuna (Thunnus sp.) adalah salah satu  hasil perikanan yang memiliki nilai gizi dan ekonomi baik. Hasil tangkapan produksi ikan tuna dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat sehingga menyebabkan peningkatan limbah di industri pengolahan ikan. Tulang dan kulit ikan tuna kaya akan nilai gizi yang belum banyak di manfaatkan sebagai bahan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh limbah  tulang dan kulit ikan tuna sebagai produk natural flavour alami yang memiliki nilai gizi tinggi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode ekperimental laboraturium dengan sampel yang akan di analisis proksimat yaitu sampel E limbah tulang ikan tuna dan air pada perbandingan 1:3 b/v, sedangkan C yaitu limbah kulit ikan tuna pada perbandingan 1:4 b/v. Analisis proksimat yang dilakukan meliputi: kadar air, abu, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat. Data hasil uji proksimat menunjukan bahwa natural flavour terbaik pada perlakuan C dengan nilai kadar air 6,76% dan kadar abu 25,88% yang lebih rendah dibandingkan perlakuan E, sedangkan kadar protein C lebih tinggi dibandingkan E yaitu 6,86%. Jika dari jumlah nilai gizi yang terbaik  perlakuan E lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan C yaitu kadar lemak 6,17%, dan kadar karbohidrat 57,91%. Berdasarkan data tersebut perlakuan terbaik kaya akan nilai gizi terdapat pada perlakuan E dengan perbandingan limbah tulang ikan dan air 1:4 b/v.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution of research related to Islamic da’wah in Indonesia, sourced from reputable Scopus-indexed journals from 1995 to 2023. It explores author productivity and related keywords that depict Islamic da’wah’s development in Indonesia. This research employs bibliometric analysis techniques and descriptive statistical approaches, utilizing the biblioshiny tool and R program to identify recommended research keywords with significant potential for future development. The research findings indicate that “social media” emerges as a frequently occurring keyword in studies on Islamic da’wah in Indonesia. Furthermore, two research paths emerge as recommendations for future development: the authority of Islamic da’wah in Indonesia and Islamic da’wah in the digital era. This investigation holds significant importance for stakeholders, including government authorities, Muslim preachers (da’i), and Muslim scholars, as it provides fundamental insights into the development of Islamic da’wah literature in Indonesia, thus offering prospective research directions.

Abstract

Self-care management dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kontrol glikemik, mengurangi komplikasi diabetes, dan berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan pada penderita diabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan self management pada pasien diabetes. Desain penelitian deskriptif analitik, dengan pendekatan crossectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 37 responden penderita diabetes. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, Data dianalisis mengunakan uji Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan self care management dengan nilai (p=0,00), adanya hubungan signifikan kemampuan aktivitas dengan self care management dengan nilai (p=0,00). Self care management Pasien diabetes dapat diatasi dengan pengelolaan diri yang baik, tingkatkan pengetahuan pendidikan diabetes, kemampuan aktivitas, manajemen diet, pemantauan kesehatan, dukungan psikologis, dan dukungan keluarga. Intervensi ini sangat dianjurkan untuk penderita diabetes sehigga pasien mampu melakukan self care management dengan baik.Kata kunci:, Diabetes mellitus, Pengetahuan, Kemampuan Aktivitas, Self-care managementSelf-care management is needed to improve glycemic control, reduce diabetes-related complications, and contribute to improving the overall quality of life in people with diabetes. This study aims to determine what factors are related to self-management in diabetes patients. Analytical descriptive research design, with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The research sample was 37 respondents with diabetes. This research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and self-care management and value (r=0.00), there is a significant relationship between activity ability and self-care management and value (p=0.00). Self care management Diabetic patients can be treated with good self-management, increasing knowledge of diabetes education, activity abilities, diet management, health monitoring, psychological support and family support. This intervention is highly recommended for diabetes sufferers so that patients are able to carry out good self-care management.Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, Knowledge, Activity Ability, Self-care management

Abstract

Smoking is one of the preventable causes of death. Indonesia is a country with the highest percentage of smokers in the world, thus threatening the health, safety and economic welfare of the people. One of the most important efforts to prevent these effects is to stop smoking. Quitting smoking will benefit all ages, quitting earlier will have greater benefits. Research objective: To describe motivation and plans to stop smoking among young people in Aceh. Materials and Methods: This study was an exploratory qualitative study conducted on smoking college students (15-24 year old group) with a total of 35 participants. Research will be carried out in Aceh in 2022.Data collection was carried out by way of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which was divided into 5 FGD groups. The results of the FGD were then transcribed, followed by coding and determining the theme. Results: The results of this study obtained 4 themes: motivation to stop smoking, barriers to quitting smoking, reasons for failing to quit smoking, and method to quit. Motivations to stop smoking include smoking is harmful, increasing spending, and health. Barriers to stopping smoking include smoking has become a habit and addiction. The reason for failure to quit was reported because of a friend who was a smoker. The method chosen to quit smoking spontaneously. Conclusion: To stop smoking must be based on self-desire then supported by other external factors.

Abstract

The principle unus testis nullus testis is a fundamental evidentiary rule in Indonesian criminal procedure, requiring at least two valid pieces of evidence to convict a defendant. This principle aligns with the negative legal system approach, emphasizing judicial certainty in criminal trials. However, its strict application in cases of sexual violence presents challenges, as these crimes often occur in closed settings where the victim is the sole witness. Recognizing this, Law No. 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes introduces a provision that allows a victim's testimony, supported by at least one other piece of evidence, to be sufficient for conviction. This study examines the normative conflict between Article 25(1) of Law No. 12 of 2022 and Article 185(2) KUHAP, which traditionally enforces the unus testis nullus testis principle. By employing a normative juridical approach, this research analyzes the necessity and implications of this special provision, comparing its application with Dutch legal practice, where courts allow supporting evidence beyond direct witness testimony (steunbewijs). The findings suggest that while special considerations for sexual violence cases are justified, Article 25(1) of Law No. 12 of 2022 may constitute over-regulation, as its substance is already accommodated within the existing evidentiary framework of the KUHAP. This research highlights the need for harmonization between special provisions on sexual violence cases and general evidentiary rules to ensure legal certainty while upholding justice for victims. Future legislative reforms should focus on integrating these provisions systematically to prevent redundancy and inconsistencies within Indonesia’s criminal justice system.

Abstract

The Aceh Sharia Court documented a total of 6,448 divorce cases in the year 2021. This study employs a methodology that incorporates field studies, observation sampling techniques, interviews, and document reviews. The population consists of all divorce cases recorded at the Aceh Sharia Court in 2021, totaling 6,448. For the sample, the author selected 300 divorce cases from the city of Banda Aceh using the Purposive Sampling technique. The findings indicate that 50% of divorce cases were found among couples with low educational attainment, specifically those who completed elementary school, junior high school, high school, S1, and D3, accounting for 24%. In contrast, only 2% of divorces involved couples with S2 degrees, suggesting that a minimal portion of divorces occurred among those with higher education levels. No divorces occurred among doctoral and professor couples in Banda Aceh City. In 2021, Banda Aceh recorded a total of 300 divorce cases. The primary reason for the divorce stemmed from persistent disagreements. The findings of this study indicate that education significantly influences family resilience; specifically, a higher level of education correlates with a lower divorce rate, while a lower level of education is associated with a higher divorce rate.

Abstract

Audio-visual media constitutes a pivotal instructional tool that facilitates the achievement of learning objectives through enhanced student engagement and comprehension. This study aims to examine the comparative effectiveness of storytelling methods and audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. Employing a classroom action research approach, data were collected through documentation, observation, and the administration of pre-tests and post-tests. The findings reveal that the storytelling method led to a 20% improvement in student performance, whereas the implementation of audio-visual media resulted in a 90% increase in learning outcomes. These results underscore the superior efficacy of audio-visual media in reinforcing conceptual understanding and fostering meaningful learning experiences among students.
