Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore customer values specifically value conversation, openness to change, self-enhancement, and self-transcendence in the use of mobile banking, based on the UTAUT2 framework. This is a qualitative study, employing Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) as the data collection method. Each value category is represented by 4 to 6 respondents, with participants confirmed to be willing to join the FGD sessions. The findings indicate that mobile banking is more likely to be accepted by users when the app’s features and design are aligned with their core values. For conservative users, strong security features and a simple user interface are more appealing. Conversely, users with openness values are more attracted to innovative, flexible, and customizable features. Features that enable social contributions attract users who value self-transcendence, while those oriented toward self-enhancement are drawn to features that support efficient personal financial management.

Abstract

Bioplastic is a plastic that is easily decomposed naturally by the activity of microorganisms without leaving toxic residues because of its that can return to nature. Aim: This study aim to examine the quality of bioplastics from variations of tapioca starch and rice waste raw materials for optimal composition. Methodology and Results: The method used is by mixing the raw material of tapioca starch waste and rice waste with variations in the composition of the material; 100% rice waste, 100% tapioca starch waste, 30% tapioca starch waste: 70% rice waste, 50% tapioca starch waste: 50% rice waste, 70% tapioca starch waste: 30% rice waste. Add 10 mL of glycerol, 30 mL of distilled water, 40 mL of acetate solvent, and 40 ml of 96% ethanol. The product will be tested on a laboratory scale for tensile strength, elongation at break, FTIR tests, and biodegradation according to SNI 7188.7:2016 for the bioplastic category that is easily biodegradable. The result shows that the optimal composition was found in the composition of 100% rice waste raw material with the quality of the tensile strength test results of 3,45 MPa, the value of elongation at break 3,8%, and the value of biodegradation 100%. The resulting bioplastics contain functional groups O-H (hydroxyl) bonded to hydrogen, C-H (alkanes), C≡C (alkynes), esters, simple aromatic compounds, C-O (carboxyl), C=C (alkenes), and hydrocarbons -(CH2)n. Conclusion, significance, and impact of study:  The use of starch to produce biodegradable materials is because it is environmentally friendly, easily degraded, available in large quantities, and affordable, moreover, the bioplastics derived from these waste sources are typically biodegradable, meaning they can break down into natural compounds under certain conditions, reducing environmental pollution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Innovation and Consumer Behavior on Customer Experience and Competitive Advantage in the context of retail product consumers in the Greater Jakarta area. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 respondents and analyzed using a structural model. The results showed that Digital Innovation has a significant positive effect on Customer Experience (path coefficient = 0.195; T = 2.538; P = 0.006) and Competitive Advantage (path coefficient = 0.140; T = 1.884; P = 0.030). Consumer Behavior also has a significant positive effect on Customer Experience (path coefficient = 0.381; T = 5.717; P = 0.000) and Competitive Advantage (path coefficient = 0.309; T = 4.179; P = 0.000). Customer Experience is proven to be a significant mediator in the relationship between the two on Competitive Advantage. These findings emphasize the importance of digital innovation, understanding consumer behavior, and customer experience in building sustainable competitive advantage. Therefore, the success of digital innovation must be measured by the extent to which a company creates value for stakeholders, including consumers, society, and the environment. Technology-based innovation, implemented ethically and sustainably, is a key foundation in the Marketing 6.0 era amid ongoing digital disruption

Abstract

The decline in sales performance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bengkulu Province poses a significant challenge, particularly in light of the national trend toward digital economic expansion. The objective of this research is to consolidate empirical evidence concerning the correlation between digital marketing literacy and the sales performance of MSMEs through a systematic literature review (SLR) of publications from 2020 to 2025. In accordance with the PRISMA protocol, 20 articles from the Scopus, Web of Science, and SINTA databases were subjected to thematic analysis. The results indicate that proficiency in digital marketing has a significant positive impact on MSME sales (β = 0.35–0.50), although this effect is mitigated by access to digital infrastructure, the age of the business owner, and the type of business. MSME proprietors aged over 45 and those located in rural areas exhibit heightened resistance to technology adoption, despite training initiatives. Significant deficiencies encompass a scarcity of regional studies in Sumatra, the absence of integrated models analysing infrastructure moderation, and the prevalence of quantitative designs lacking comprehensive investigation. This study makes a theoretical contribution by developing the Digital Literacy-Performance Nexus framework and has real-world implications for community-based digital training policy. Future research will encompass longitudinal studies and mixed-method approaches within regional contexts.

Abstract

Food safety is a vital aspect of food service, especially in higher education facilities, which tend to have high food consumption rates and involve diverse consumer groups. Low awareness and suboptimal implementation of food safety practices by canteen managers or food handlers can increase the risk of foodborne illnesses that have an impact on the health of the academic community. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge, awareness, and skills of Mataram University canteen managers in implementing food safety principles appropriately and sustainably. The methods used in this activity included interactive workshops on the basic concepts of food safety, introduction to the types and sources of potential food hazards (biological, chemical, and physical) in the food processing process, and the application of the five keys to food safety. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the increase in participants' knowledge, as well as observations of participants' participation and enthusiasm during the activity. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' level of understanding from the moderate category of 56% to the high category of 81%. These findings indicate that the community service activity had a positive impact in increasing the capacity of canteen managers, supporting the establishment of a healthier and more safe canteen environment, and contributing to the prevention of foodborne diseases on campus.

Abstract

Background: Sectio Caesarea (SC) surgery causes anxiety, postoperative pain, and feelings of fear, which causes late mobilization, resulting in complaints of flatulence. Objectives: To find out more about the effect of mobilization on the incidence of flatulence in post section caesarea patients. Method: This study used observational analytical studies, cross-sectional design, mothers who gave birth in January-February 2024, a population of 67 people; samples were taken by purposive sampling; mothers giving birth by SC (cito and elective). A sample of 55 respondents was obtained (SC ERACS 12 respondents, and non-ERACS 43 respondents).Result: The results found that there were as many as 13 respondents (81.3%) who experienced flatulence due to late mobilization. While in mothers who mobilized early, there was only 1 respondent (2.6%) who experienced flatulence. The results of statistical tests obtained a p value of 0.000, and it can be concluded that there is a difference in the proportion of flatulence of SC postoperative patients in mothers who do late mobilization and early mobilization (there is a significant effectiveness between mobilization and flatulence of SC postoperative patients). From the results of the analysis, the value of OR = 0.006 was also obtained, meaning that mothers who mobilize late have a 1 chance of experiencing postoperative flatulence compared to mothers who mobilize early. Conclusion: Early mobilization can reduce flatulence complaints in post-SC patients. Increasing education about the importance of postoperative mobilization to recover faster and avoid other complications that can arise due to postoperative SC, create interesting educational media to increase maternal knowledge.
