Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of fermented maggot feeding on the survival and growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) as an effort to increase feed efficiency in fish farming. Maggots are known as an alternative feed source rich in protein, but the fermentation process is needed to increase the digestibility and availability of nutrients. This study was conducted for six weeks at the Moncongloe Aquaculture Institute using an experimental trial method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments, namely A (maggots without fermentation as a control), B (maggots fermented with SLS), C (maggots fermented with EM4), and D (maggots fermented with Yakult), with each treatment being repeated three times. The main parameters measured included survival and absolute weight growth of tilapia. Based on the results of the study, the highest survival data was obtained in treatment B with a value of 86.7%, followed by treatments C and D which were each 83.3%, and treatment A (control) of 73.3%. Meanwhile, the absolute weight growth parameter showed the highest value in treatment B at 5.92 g, followed by treatment C at 5.79 g, treatment D at 5.58 g, and treatment A at 5.29 g. The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the provision of fermented maggot feed did not have a significant effect on the survival of tilapia, but had a significant effect on its absolute weight growth. The treatment of maggot fermented with SLS (treatment B) showed superior results compared to other treatments, indicating that certain types of fermentation can increase the effectiveness of feed in supporting the growth of tilapia. Thus, this study provides scientific evidence that maggot fermentation, especially using SLS, is a potential method to improve the quality of fish feed, so that it can be applied as an innovation in the development of more efficient and sustainable fish farming

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efficiency of using solar cells in non-conventional ship electrical systems. The method that will be used in the research is the use of primary data and secondary data which will provide a comprehensive approach in this research. Based on the analysis above, a system with solar cells can produce Wh of energy per day, to meet daily energy needs with Wh of the Watts used every day. By using the battery capacity, the system has very large energy reserves, allowing the system to be used every day and will be very efficient in meeting load needs, with excess energy capacity. With a generator capacity with more than enough Wattage to meet the daily energy needs of the existing load, this means there is excess energy that can be stored in the generator.

Abstract

Keberhasilan menyusui disebabkan karena menurunnya rangsangan hormon oksitosin, sehingga ibu nifas memiliki rasa khawatir yang berlebihan untuk menyusui. Objective: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode SPEOS terhadap kelancaran ASI pada ibu nifas. Methods: Peneliti menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest – posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu pasca melahirkan di PMB Denik dengan total sampel 20 orang menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen kelancaran ASI menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan intervensi metode SPEOS menggunakan standar operasional prosedur (SOP). Analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t test. Results: Kelancaran ASI dari 20 responden menunjukkan data bahwa sebelum metode SPOES sebagian besar responden memiliki dengan kategori lancar sebesar 11 (55%) dan setelah metode SPOES seluruh responden memiliki kategori lancar sebesar 20 (100%). Analisis uji paired sample t test menunjukkan nilai ρ (0,000) < α 0,05. Conclusion : Metode SPEOS pada ibu nifas membantu meningkatkan kelancaran keluarnya ASI dan membangun konsep diri yang positif melalui sugesti, sehingga ibu yakin dapat memberikan ASI yang lancar

Abstract

Fokus penting dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pemberian reward dalam konteks penerapan manajemen siswa di SD Islam Darul Hikmah Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian reward memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi, partisipasi aktif, dan perilaku siswa. Penerapan reward yang terencana dan terstruktur telah mendorong peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, serta membentuk sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Namun perlu diperhatikan pentingnya penanaman nilai-nilai intrinsik dalam pembelajaran, serta kerjasama yang erat antara guru, orang tua dan sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan pandangan mendalam mengenai efektivitas rewarding dalam memfasilitasi pengelolaan siswa di SD Islam Darul Hikmah Makassar, sehingga memberikan kontribusi berharga bagi pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the conditions of loading activities on people's cruise ships regarding the cargo of cement packing bags on people's cruises, and the cement packing bag transportation system on people's cruise ships that is in accordance with guidelines by referring to the principles of handling and regulation. In this research, primary and secondary data collection methods were used. Quantitative descriptive research is used to solve problems regarding the conditions of loading activities at ports and public shipping vessels on cement packing bags on public shipping ships and the cement packing bag transportation system on public shipping ships which refers to the principles of cargo handling and management. Based on the results of questionnaire calculations, the conditions of loading activities on people's shipping vessels regarding cement packing bag cargo on people's shipping, depend on human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as health and safety, while the results of observations on several activities of the transportation and stopping system on people's shipping vessels must be taken into account. regarding the stowage plan, there is preparation of the loading space/cleaning of holds in the cement bag loading rack, which is not properly coordinated by the officer in charge/officer, the stability of the ship needs to be considered, the condition and location of the loading and unloading equipment, the volume of the loading space and the carrying capacity of the ship, Destination port of cargo, quantity, weight, type and nature of cargo in each hold. The author made observations on 6 ships.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of the KM Reski People's Shipping Ship Accident in the waters of Balang Caddi Island-Pangkajene Islands. The data analysis method in this research is quantitative and qualitative description. In this research, the sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations, in this case all those on board the people's shipping vessels in the waters of Balang Caddi Island-Pangkajene Islands. The data collection method used in this research is an interview, which is unstructured but at a minimum the researcher uses a plan of questions to be asked as an interview guide. Based on the results of interviews by 35 respondents, in this case passengers, ship owners and captains, by asking questions with three indicators, namely related to safety equipment, decisions on safety regulations, and education and knowledge of human resources, it turns out that after interviews were conducted and analyzed, these three indicators were said to be low/fair, this is said to be the result of the KM Reski ship accident in the waters of Balang Caddi Island, due to lack of knowledge and lack of availability of safety equipment. .

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of loading and unloading operational services at the New Makassar Container Terminal. The method that will be used in the research is qualitative by collecting primary and secondary data, then referring to several relevant literature studies, articles and research journals. Based on the analysis above, the efficiency and effectiveness of container loading and unloading activities at the new terminal is effective because the port is divided into two terminals, 60% of ship visits are at Soekarno Hatta (terminal 1) 40% of ship visits are at Makassar new port (Terminal 2), port selection is based on stakeholders, choose the next port, accessibility, distance, and road conditions/congestion at certain access points. The manager loses if the accumulation takes a long time, this is the maximum holding time for coins is 5 days, while the storage accumulation costs are 1 to 5 days with a cost of 18 thousand, if it exceeds the maximum day then there is a fine for storage accumulation with a calculation of 18 thousand per day with a maximum of 10 days. and if it exceeds 10 days, the fine will be increased to 32 thousand per day. The effectiveness of the workforce and infrastructure at the Makassar New Port terminal is very adequate.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 3 Gerung Utara dengan menggunakan media gambar proyeksi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitan ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan media gambar proyeksi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 3 Gerung Utara?. Adapun tahapan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Dari hasil evaluasi dan refleksi diperoleh nilai rata-rata kegiatan guru dan aktivitas siswa diperoleh skor dengan kategori baik. Adapun nilai kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 72.23 dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 64.70%. sedangkan nilai kemampuan hasil kemampuan menulis kemampuan siswa pada siklus II sebesar 84.8 dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 91.17%. Dengan demikian penelitian tindakan kelas ini telah tercapainya seluruh indikator pembelajaran melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Berdasarkan data di atas penggunaan media gambar proyeksi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri  3 Gerung Utara

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this treatment is to preserve the tooth and surrounding bone for several years.Methods: A nine-year-old girl presented with avulsion of both maxillary central incisor teeth due to falling off a bicycle after 1 day of previous incident. Treatment guidelines for immature avulse permanent teeth with prolonged extra-oral time were performed for the teeth and extra-oral endodontic treatment was completed by the pediatric dentist. After being repositioned and fixed by the oral surgeon using an arch bar, the tooth was stabilized for 8 weeks, 20 weeks and prophylactic antibiotics were prescribed. Clinical and radiographic controls were done after 2 months, 4 months and 6 months. During this period there was still no improvement in the attachment of the avulsed tooth to the surrounding bone, and it is currently under treatment control with a composite wire splint.Results: The prevalence of avulsion cases in children increases between the ages of 7 to 9 years due to incomplete root development and minimal resistance of the alveolar bone/periodontal ligament (PDL) to extrusion forces during the period of tooth eruption.Conclusion: Dental avulsion replantation treatment should be performed immediately but delayed replantation cases can still be performed.

Abstract

Fenomena gaya hidup sedentary pada anak sekolah dasar semakin meningkat, sehingga mengakibatkan berbagai risiko kesehatan fisik dan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan pojok literasi fisik di SDN 1 Kekait untuk mendukung literasi fisik siswa dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan 35 siswa kelas 5 dan lima guru. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara semi terstruktur untuk mengidentifikasi preferensi desain, jenis media, dan tantangan dalam penerapan pojok literasi fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memahami konsep pojok literasi, namun keberadaannya di sekolah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Siswa menginginkan pojok literasi yang nyaman, menarik, dan interaktif dengan media seperti buku bergambar, poster olahraga, dan alat peraga miniatur. Guru menekankan pentingnya konten edukasi yang sesuai dan desain visual yang indah untuk memotivasi siswa. Tantangan utama dalam pengembangan pojok literasi adalah keterbatasan dana dan pengelolaan fasilitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pojok literasi fisik berpotensi menjadi media yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang aktivitas fisik dan gaya hidup sehat. Implementasi yang melibatkan dukungan sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat diperlukan untuk menciptakan sudut literasi berkelanjutan yang berdampak positif pada kualitas hidup siswa.
