Abstract

Novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata memuat potret kuat tentang idealisme dalam perjuangan tokoh utama menghadapi realitas pendidikan, sehingga perlu dikaji untuk memahami pesan dan nilai-nilai idealisme yang membangun keseluruhan cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai-nilai idealisme yang terkandung dalam cerita novel Guru Aini Karya Andrea Hirata dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pembacaan mendalam terhadap novel Guru Aini. Analisis dilakukan mengacu pada teori idealisme Plato untuk memahami bagaimana karakter dalam novel dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh-tokoh dalam novel ini, terutama Bu Desi dan Aini, merepresentasikan nilai-nilai idealisme seperti keteguhan dan keuletan dalam mencapai cita-cita, optimisme dan keyakinan diri dalam mencapai tujuan, memiliki integritas dan kejujuran dalam tanggung jawab, serta komitmen terhadap perubahan sosial dalam memperjuangkan keadilan, serta memiliki rasa kepedulian kepada sesama. Nilai-nilai ini memiliki implikasi yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran sastra, terutama dalam menanamkan karakter positif kepada siswa, meningkatkan apresiasi terhadap sastra, serta mendorong pemikiran kritis terhadap realitas sosial yang diangkat dalam karya sastra, sejalan dengan capaian pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan kemampuan peserta didik untuk memahami, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi karya sastra secara kritis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between classroom management and learning motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Modoinding, South Minahasa Regency. The research method used is a quantitative correlational approach. The population in this study was all 91 ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Modoinding. Considering the limited population, this study used the Total Sampling technique, where all members of the population were used as research respondents. Data collection instruments were in the form of questionnaires for the variables of Class Management (X1) and Learning Motivation (X2), as well as report card documentation for the Learning Outcome variable (Y). The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between Class Management and Learning Outcomes; (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes; and (3) simultaneously, Class Management and Learning Motivation are significantly related to student Learning Outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Modoinding. These findings indicate that optimizing student learning outcomes is highly dependent on teachers' ability to create a conducive classroom climate and their ability to spark students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of developing teacher managerial competencies in rural schools to ensure that the quality of learning outcomes is comparable to those in urban areas.

Abstract

Teacher quality is a cornerstone of educational excellence, and teaching skill, the practical ability to plan, implement, manage, and evaluate learning effectively, remains a critical yet underexplored outcome variable in Indonesian school management research. Empirical evidence consistently highlights that both school leadership and teacher professional competence are key determinants of instructional quality, yet their combined influence on teaching skills has received limited quantitative investigation, particularly in the North Sulawesi regional context. This study aimed to examine the influence of principal leadership style and professional competence, both individually and simultaneously, on teachers' teaching skills in senior high schools in Tomohon City. This research used A quantitative research design, with simple and multiple regression analysis was employed. A proportionate stratified random sample of 106 teachers was drawn from a population of 145 teachers across five senior high schools in Tomohon City. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires (Cronbach's α: 0.942, 0.812, and 0.885 for teaching skill, leadership style, and professional competence, respectively) and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results of this research are that principal leadership style significantly influenced teaching skills (r = 0.597; R² = 0.356; F = 57.458; p < 0.001), explaining 35.6% of the variance. Professional competence demonstrated a stronger individual effect (r = 0.660; R² = 0.435; F = 80.054; p < 0.001), accounting for 43.5% of the variance. When both predictors were included simultaneously in a multiple regression model, they jointly explained 50.8% of the variance in teaching skills (R = 0.713; R² = 0.508; F = 53.211; p < 0.001), with the regression equation Ŷ = 6.468 + 0.293(X₁) + 0.536(X₂). This study concluded that both principal leadership style and teacher professional competence are significant and positive predictors of teaching skills, with the combined model providing the strongest explanatory power. This study implies that school policymakers and principals should adopt a synergistic approach that simultaneously strengthens adaptive leadership practices and invests in continuous professional competence development programs to optimally enhance classroom teaching quality.

Abstract

Educational laboratories at State Universities Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) play a strategic role as academic nodes and institutional business units in supporting the tridharma of higher education. This study examines the dynamics of educational laboratory governance in the context of institutional politics and financial autonomy of PTN-BLU during 2015–2024. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and a literature study design, this study analysed policy documents, institutional reports, and accredited national publications. The main findings reveal four dominant patterns that hinder laboratory performance: internal policy discontinuity, inequality in resource allocation, political intervention in decision-making, and weak integration of digital systems. The fragmentation of SOPs and the dominance of bureaucracy worsen operational efficiency, while laboratories with higher commercial potential benefit from performance-based financing models. The study also shows that basic and social science laboratories are increasingly marginalized, widening the inequality gap. However, initiatives such as the digitization of laboratory management information systems, the establishment of multistakeholder advisory boards, asnd performance-based incentives showcase the potential for institutional reform. This research suggests the importance of adaptive internal policy design, fair budget distribution, and strengthening human resource capacity and digital accountability. Thus, the PTN-BLU laboratory can become a center of innovation and quality of education if it is carried out within an integrative and transformative governance framework.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji diksi yang memuat nuansa budaya populer dalam tiga puisi antologi Tulus untuk Orang yang Salah karya Boy Candra, yaitu “Bertaruh dalam Luka”, “Terjal Perjalanan”, dan “Jangan Mempermainkan Rasa Sabar Seseorang”. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Model 3D Analisis Wacana Kritis Norman Fairclough yang dipadukan dengan konsep Ratna (2015). Penelitian bertujuan menjelaskan bentuk diksi serta representasi budaya populer Indonesia kontemporer yang muncul melalui pilihan bahasa penyair. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa diksi yang digunakan meliputi bentuk denotatif sehari-hari, metafora dramatik, dan idiom lokal yang mencerminkan narasi patah hati, proses pemulihan diri, ekspresi “berlapang dada” ala Jawa pop, serta sindiran viral yang berkembang di media digital. Diksi tersebut turut membangun Ideologi Galau sebagai komoditas emosional yang berkembang melalui TikTok dan Instagram. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa puisi Boy Candra berfungsi sebagai karya sastra sekaligus produk budaya populer, serta berpotensi diterapkan dalam pembelajaran puisi di SMA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada persepsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Manado terhadap budaya Hegemoni dalam drama Pyramid Game serta implikasinya pada pembelajaran sastra. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) persepsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Manado tentang budaya Hegemoni yang ditampilkan dalam drama Pyramid Game, dan (2) implikasinya pada pembelajaran sastra. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data terdiri dari atas data primer sebagai data utama yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, serta data sekunder sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya persepsi mahasiswa terkait budaya hegemoni dalam drama Pyramid Game adalah, dalam hal Perundungan (Bullying) yang didorong oleh adanya fakta hegemoni (1) Kekayaan (2) Kecerdasan (3) Manajerial.

Abstract

The educational goals to be achieved include all aspects, both faith, personality, intelligence, and skills. Education seeks to create a superior personality marked by progress in all areas of life, whether spiritual, personality, intelligence, or skills, all of which will benefit students, the environment in which they interact, and also for the progress of the nation and state.This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. Sugiyono explained the characteristics of qualitative research methods as follows: "Qualitative research methods are research methods based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects (as opposed to experiments), where the researcher is the key instrument, the sampling of data sources is carried out purposively. and snowball, data collection techniques with triangulation (combined), and inductive/qualitative data analysis, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization”. The results show that SGS has made plans but still needs improvement. The planning process for all human management activities which include teacher procurement, teacher development.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital yang pesat secara mendasar telah membentuk kembali lanskap pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM). Artikel ini mengeksplorasi titik temu antara transformasi digital dan pengembangan SDM, dengan fokus pada bagaimana organisasi dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan, mendorong pembelajaran berkelanjutan, dan meningkatkan kinerja secara keseluruhan. Berdasarkan tinjauan literatur sistematis, studi ini mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan utama—termasuk penolakan terhadap perubahan, kesenjangan keterampilan, dan masalah privasi data—di samping peluang-peluang seperti pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi, analitik kinerja waktu nyata (real-time), dan peningkatan kelincahan (agility) organisasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pengembangan SDM digital memerlukan keselarasan strategis antara adopsi teknologi, komitmen kepemimpinan, dan budaya belajar sepanjang hayat. Implikasi praktis bagi manajer SDM dan pembuat kebijakan turut dibahas. Kata Kunci : pengembangan sumber daya manusia, transformasi digital, pelatihan karyawan, pembelajaran organisasi, teknologi SDM Teacher performance is the work achievement attained by a teacher in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as an educator according to established professional competency standards. This study aims to determine the influence of principal's supervision and motivation on teacher performance in Tondano: (1) principal's supervision has a significant effect on teacher performance; (2) motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance; (3) principal's supervision and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance. The population in this study were teachers in Tondano. The method used was regression analysis with a sample size of 103 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple regression techniques tabulated with SPSS for Windows version 25. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant influence of principal's supervision on teacher performance; (2) there is a significant influence of motivation on teacher performance; (3) there is a significant simultaneous influence of principal's supervision and motivation on teacher performance. Based on the research conclusions, it is suggested that: (1) teacher performance needs to be continuously improved; (2) principals need to conduct continuous supervision and enhance teacher work initiative by providing training for self-development, encouraging and motivating continuous growth; (3) schools must create conditions where teachers can optimize their performance.Keywords: Principal's Supervision, Motivation, Senior High School Teacher Performance in Tondano

Abstract

The most effective effort to improve human quality is through education. Education functions as a transmission of knowledge, skill values, and culture. In education, the aspects of rationality, dignity, ethics, and aesthetics are highly emphasized because in the long run, the current students are the leaders and actors of Indonesia's future culture. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of principal leadership at SMPN 2 Tombatu. This research method uses a qualitative method. In this study, the implementation of principal leadership at SMP N 2 Tombatu is evaluated through a triangulation approach, namely through the perspective of the principal, teachers, and parents of students. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of principal leadership at SMP N 2 Tombatu has a holistic approach and is oriented towards improving the quality of education. The principal, through a clear vision and professional development of the staff, manages to create a conducive and supportive learning environment for students. From the teacher's perspective, the principal's leadership is considered effective in providing the necessary direction and support to achieve the school's goals, as well as implementing open and transparent communication.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the ability to write observational report texts through guided practice techniques to provide understanding with educator guidance in improving students’ writing skills in a more focused manner. This research was conducted with research sources, namely, seventh grade students of SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu to apply guided practice techniques in learning to write observational report texts. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of seventh grade students of SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu in writing observational report through guided practice techniques. The method used in this study is a descriptive analytical method. The techniques used are observation and tests. The result of the observation showed active involvement of students in learning to write observational report texts with an average assessment of 3.3. Data analysis in this study used percentage data analysis. Based on the results of the study, the ability of seventh grade students of SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu in writing observational report texts through guided practice techniques is in the 83 category with a range of 70%-89%. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi melalui teknik latihan terbimbing guna memberikan pemahaman dengan bimbingan pendidik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa yang lebih terarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sumber penelitian yaitu, siswa kelas VII SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu untuk menerapkan teknik latihan terbimbing dalam pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi melalui teknik latihan terbimbing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya keterlibatan aktif dari siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan penilaian yang diperoleh rerata, yaitu 3,3. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP Kristen 67 Immanuel Bahu dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi melalui teknik latihan terbimbing berada pada kategori 83 dengan rentang 70%-89%.
