Abstract

This study investigates the impact of teachers’ competence in managing instructional models and learning media on students’ learning outcomes in a senior high school context. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, the study involved 83 students selected through simple random sampling from a population of 483 students. Data on teachers’ competence in managing instructional models and learning media were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires, while students’ learning outcomes were obtained from academic report scores. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The findings reveal that: (1) teachers’ competence in managing instructional models has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes (t = 6.179, p < 0.05); (2) competence in managing learning media also shows a positive and significant effect (t = 8.147, p < 0.05); and (3) both variables simultaneously influence learning outcomes significantly (F = 33.032, p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.452) indicates that 45.2% of the variance in students’ learning outcomes is explained by these two variables. The study highlights the critical role of teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in instructional design and media integration, in improving student achievement. These findings suggest the need for continuous professional development programs focusing on innovative teaching models and effective use of learning media to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic at Karitas Catholic High School in Tomohon City, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the solutions for handling them. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were five people consisting of a school principal and four vice principals. The data were collected from interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed by an interactive model. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership was implemented through the principal role as an explorer, a miner, an accelerator, and an integrator. The supporting factors are teachers’ IT skills, government allowances, parents’ support and proactivity, online learning facilities, and entrepreneurial instincts of teachers and students. The inhibiting factors are the late payment of tuition fees, the uncertainty of parents' income, the late disbursement of the government's school operational assistance (BOS) funds and the foundation's compulsory funds, the complexity of the foundation's centralized system, and the lack of online learning facilities. The efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors are coordination with parents, overcoming arrears, recording the number of students without online learning facilities, and conducting offline learning for them. The results suggest continuing to implement entrepreneurial leadership more openly and creatively, increase the supporting factors, and minimize the inhibiting factors with various efforts.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the policy and political dynamics of ICT governance in encouraging entrepreneurial university transformation through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The research method was carried out by examining various reputable scientific articles published in the range of 2015–2025 and obtained from the Scopus database, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar. The literature selection process follows the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion based on the PRISMA guidelines. The results show that effective ICT governance is determined by the integration of digital policies, strategic leadership, regulatory support, infrastructure investment, and the involvement of various stakeholders in the decision-making process. In addition, institutional political dynamics have a significant impact on the successful implementation of digital transformation through resource distribution, policy priorities, and strengthening the culture of innovation. The research findings also identify various challenges, such as digital capacity gaps, organizational resistance to change, and mis synchronization between national policies and institutional needs. This study concludes that the synergy between adaptive ICT policies, participatory governance, and transformational leadership is a key factor in accelerating the transformation of universities towards an innovative, competitive, and sustainable entrepreneurial university model.

Abstract

The teacher resources development becomes a central issue in public discussion. The plan, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of teacher resource development in Dinas Pendidikan Manado is being provoked and receives attention. The provoking issues play around on how teacher resouces development being planned, implemented, and evaluated. This study takes a qualitative approach and utilizes a case study method. In-depth interviews are the primary data collecting tools, followed by document study techniques/literature and observation. However, monitoring and evaluation success requires adequate implementation quality, appropriate monitoring and evaluation standards, and a special monitoring and evaluation budget. In conclusion, the government should inform and promote the pattern of execution of teacher resource development. That is, more attention and a dedicated budget for the creation of teaching resources are required. The pattern of teacher resource development monitoring and assessment is based on both internal and external stakeholders. The government must state and report the pattern of implementation of teacher resource development. This means that more attention and special budget are needed to create teaching resources. The pattern of monitoring and assessment of teacher resource development is based on internal and external interests. As a result, by using explicit and redundant standards, supervisor quality becomes an important predictor of successful monitoring and assessment.
