Abstract

Minimum surface roughness in the machining process affects the quality of a material. Likewise with the results of the Vertical Milling process. One of the things that influences surface roughness in the milling process is the selection of machining parameters. Apart from selecting machining process parameters, another thing that influences surface roughness is the presence of coolant. The aim of this research is to determine the surface roughness results of ST37 steel due to variations in cutting speed, feed speed and coolant discharge during the vertical milling process. Data testing uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that the influence of the feeding speed parameter has the greatest influence and the smallest influence is on the coolant discharge, where the results of the regression test results are Ra = 100.636 *(v)-0.577 *(vf)0.159 *(q)-0.245 with a value R Square is 0.846 or 84.6%.

Abstract

The spinning type fried onion oil draining machine is a tool used to drain the oil content in fried onions with a rotating work system. This machine has a transmission system to distribute power from the electric motor to the rotating tube. The transmission system used requires good and correct calculations, so that the machine can run optimally. The purpose of this study is to design and create an effective and efficient transmission system on a spinning type fried onion draining machine. The methods used include design planning, calculation of machine elements, assembly and machine testing. The results of the research showed that the required power was 0.695 kW with a rotation speed of 420 rpm, so an AC motor with a power of 1 HP and a rotation speed of 1400 rpm was chosen. The type of transmission used was a pulley and V-belt with the A-40 V-belt type with a pulley diameter on the electric motor of 75 mm and a pulley diameter on the drain shaft of 250 mm. Using a nickel chromium alloy steel transmission shaft with a diameter of 25 mm. The type of bearing used was a UCF 204 type rolling bearing with an inner diameter of 25 mm.

Abstract

Muntahan material piroklastik gunung berapi mengandung beberapa deposit berupa batu dan pasir vulkanik yang hingga saat ini ditambangi oleh masyarakat. Pasir vulkanik dengan material piroklastik hasil erupsi Gunung Kelud memiliki sifat unik, yaitu fabrik yang porous dimana partikel dan pengikatnya akan saling mengunci atau tersementasi. Sampai saat ini pemanfaaatan pasir kelud hanya sebatas sebagai material bahan bangunan. Melihat kondisi tersebut, pasir vulkanik Gunung Kelud dimanfaatkan sebagai media cetak proses pengecoran logam terhadap karakteristik permukaan hasil pengecoran khususnya untuk paduan logam alumunium. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran langsung dan analisis citra gambar. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang sudah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil karakteristik coran dengan menggunakan pasir vulkanik tebing gunung kelud mempunyai sifat kekuatan tarik dengan angka tensile strange rata-rata sebesar 65,06 MPa. Sedangkan karakteristik hasil coran dari media pasir puncak didapat di angka 123,26 MPa dibandingkan dengan penggunaan pasir silika biasa karakteristiknya masih tinggi di angka 128,2 MPa. Pada hasil pengujian kekasaran diperoleh permukaan hasil coran pasir vulkanik cenderung lebih sama dengan karakteristik hasil coran dan pasir puncak dimana angka yang didapat berkisar antara 180-187,85, sedangkan penggunaan pasir tebing menghasilkan rata-rata permukaan hasil coran di angka 228,67-234,05. Pada hasil metalografi didapati hasil pengecoran dengan pasir Gunung Kelud masih terdapat porositas yang cukup banyak dibandingkan dengan hasil coran yang menggunakan pasir silika

Abstract

 Media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan perlu disebarluaskan dengan melakukan pelatihan penggunaan media kepada para guru untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran Biologi dan memfasilitasi materi yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa.  Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan, yaitu Puzzle Base Case Study (PBCS) kepada peserta pelatihan melalui kegiatan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Biologi Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah: (1) tahap perencanaan (2) tahap persiapan (3) tahap pelaksanaan, dan (3) tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung di Laboratorium Biologi SMA Negeri 10 Malang pada tanggal 18 Mei 2024 dengan peserta 27 guru Biologi. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan telah mendapatkan respon yang positif dari seluruh peserta pelatihan, baik dari segi keterlaksanaan kegiatan dan produk media pembelajaran. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan pelatihani ini, guru dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran serupa agar siswa memiliki pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan yang dengan demikian dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi yang diajarkan.

Abstract

Learning media needs to be developed to support the learning process. This community service program aims to disseminate game-based learning media “EXCOTION” to biology teachers in Malang City MGMP. This program is carried out with the stages of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of the analysis of the activity participant response questionnaire, the participants agreed with a percentage of 100%, that the learning media products and service activities had good benefits. Thus, this “EXCOTION ” media dissemination activity has provided benefits for biology teachers to be able to develop similar learning media so that students can overcome their difficulties in learning biological material, especially the excretory system in humans.

Abstract

Various toxic compounds still often contaminate the environment and food of living things to this day. Drosophila is often used as a model organism to study the negative effects of exposure to toxic compounds on organisms. The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) is to analyze the distribution, contribution, and gap analysis of studies reporting the effect of toxic compounds on behavior in Drosophila. After conducting a search in the Scopus database, 57 titles that matched the entered search query were obtained. After selection and evaluation step, a total of 19 Scopus indexed articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were successfully collected for analysis. The three countries that most frequently research Drosophila behavior are the US, China, and Nigeria. A total of 5 clusters resulted from the results of bibliometric analysis. Various behavioral studies have included developmental variables, gene expression, to the Circadian clock. Toxic compounds that are often studied generally come from the group of metal compounds. On the other hand, multigenerational studies to analyze the long-term effects of toxic compounds and the plasticity of phenotypic changes into gap analysis have been successfully identified.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of citizenship education in elementary schools as an effort to build the moral foundation of students from an early age. The current shift in moral values within society demands comprehensive character education in schools. Through citizenship education, students are taught their rights and duties as citizens, as well as moral values such as responsibility, honesty, and cooperation. This research aims to examine the role of citizenship education in shaping students' moral character from an early age, focusing on the development of students' personal and social competencies to become good citizens. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review to analyze various relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers is crucial in integrating citizenship values into the curriculum and guiding students through learning and extracurricular activities. With good moral education, students are expected to grow into ethical individuals who actively contribute to national development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe citizenship science as an important field of study for understanding the rights and obligations of individuals as citizens and their role in national and state life. This study emphasizes the importance of explaining the definition of citizenship science, the purpose of studying it, and its relationship with other scientific disciplines. Apart from that, it discusses the human rights that citizens have and their obligations towards the state and society, as well as the importance of balance between the two. The basic values of citizenship, especially Pancasila, are identified as moral guidelines that must be implemented in everyday life as well as a deep understanding of citizenship to create a just, responsible and competitive society on the global stage. The research approach used is a qualitative research study. cases according to the research focus. The data collection technique used in this research is Literature Study. The research results show that a good understanding of citizenship will encourage individuals to play an active role in society, maintain a balance between rights and obligations, and contribute to the development of a better nation.

Abstract

According to national digital research center (NDRC), financial technology describe innovation in field finance with use technology latest. As institution finance, financial technology must guard performance so that can operate with optimal. The purpose of this study is to compare the financial performance of sharia financial technology with conventional financial technology in Indonesia in 2021 and 2022 using ROA, ROE, TKB90, and TWP90. The analysis technique used in this study is the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between the ROA and ROE of sharia financial technology and conventional financial technology. Whereas TKB90 and TWP90 sharia financial technology and conventional financial technology there are significant differences, where sharia financial technology has better quality than conventional financial technology.

Abstract

Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kogntif siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa Mind of Digestive board game berbasis model CBL (Case-Based Learning) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Kevalidan media diketahui dari hasil validasi oleh validator media, materi, dan praktisi pendidikan. Kepraktisan media diketahui dari hasil angket respon kepraktisan oleh siswa dan guru. Keefektifan media diketahui dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang dilanjutkan analisis N-gain. Hasil validasi media oleh validator media 96%, validator materi 100%, dan validator praktisi pendidikan 100%. Hasil angket respon kepraktisan oleh siswa 96% dan oleh guru 100%. Hasil uji N-gain keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh skor N-gain 0,70 (kriteria sedang) dan persentase N-gain 70% (cukup efektif). Hasil uji N-gain hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh skor N-gain 0,62 (kriteria sedang) dan persentase N-gain 62% (cukup efektif). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Mind of Digestive board game berbasis model CBL dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
