Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis menganalisis bahan ajar BIPA dengan memuatkan budaya lokal Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan sumber data dari bahan ajar BIPA dengan memuatkan budaya lokal Sumatera Utara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan konsep teori Prastowo. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu bahan ajar BIPA dengan budaya etnis Batak Angkola sangat membantu penutur bahasa asing dalam memahami bahasa Indonesia dengan nuansa budaya dari suku etnis Batak Angkola, Adapun hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari materi yang disusun secara sistematis dan terstruktur.

Abstract

BACKGROUND Protein deficiency (PD) can lead to kidney damage. Consuming plant-based proteins may improve this condition. Bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea)has an essential amino acid score of 80%, which is higher than other legumes; thus, it is potent in overcoming malnutrition. This study aimed to determine the effect of Bambara groundnut supplementation on kidney histology in adult female mice with PD. METHODS The study was conducted for 2 months in randomly selected female mice. These mice were grouped into the control, PD, and PD supplemented with Bambara groundnuts at 100, 200, and 300 g/kg of feed. 1 day after the last treatment, the kidneys of the mice were collected and processed histologically using the paraffin method (stained with hematoxylin and eosin and Masson’s trichrome). Parameters for observation included histopathological scoring (glomerular and interstitial space fibrosis and tubular damage), kidney histomorphometry, and organ index. Semi-quantitative data were analyzed using the Kruskal–Wallis test, while quantitative data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA (followed by Tukey’s test) and nested t-test. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software version 20 (IBM Corp., USA) (p≤0.05). RESULTS PD caused cell sloughing (moderate level) and dilatation (severe level) of the kidney tubules. It also reduced glomerular diameter and area by approximately 17.66% and 29%, respectively. PD and Bambara groundnut administration had no significant effects on the glomerular number, cortex and medulla thickness, distal and proximal tubule diameter, and kidney organ index (p>0.05). CONCLUSIONS Bambara groundnut (V. subterranea) administration prevented damage to the kidney’s histological structure of protein-deficient mice.

Abstract

Rhuematoid artritis (RA) merupakan penyakit autoimun yang ditandai dengan peradangan sendi kronis dan menyebabkan nyeri berkepanjangan, pembengkakan, dan keterbatasan gerak. Nyeri merupakan salah satu gejala utama yang sangat memengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita RA. Terapi non-farmakologis seperti terapi massage dapat menjadi alternatif dalam mengurangi nyeri. Massage adalah salah satu perawatan tubuh dengan menggunakan kedua tangan pada bagian telapak tangan maupun jari-jari tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan terapi massage terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada Ny. R yang menderita rematoid artritis di Rumah Sehat Zein Holistik. Metode penelitian ini adalah Studi kasus yang menjelajahi suatu masalah. Studi ini dilakukan pada 1 pasien yaitu Ny.R. dengan rhematoid Artritis. Hasil penerapan intervensi terapi message terhadap penurunan nyeri rhematoid artritis pada Ny. R di Rumah Sehat Zein Holistic Therapy bahwa didapatkan tingkat nyeri mengalami penurunan dari nyeri sedang (Skala 5) ke nyeri ringan (Skala 2). Intervensi dilakukan dalam 1 kali pemberian terapi message selama 40 menit. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi massage efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri pada penderita rematoid artritis. Terapi ini dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan intervensi keperawatan komplementer dalam manajemen nyeri kronis.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into education has significantly reshaped how students access and engage with learning materials. Among various innovations, AI-powered tools such as Meta AI have gained attention for their potential to assist students in developing essential language skills, particularly in English writing. As writing remains a fundamental yet challenging aspect of language learning, it is important to understand how students perceive the role of AI tools in supporting their academic progress. This study investigates high school students’ perceptions of Meta AI as an accessible and affordable platform for improving their English writing skills. Grounded in the context of the growing presence of AI in education, the study examines three core dimensions: accessibility, affordability, and perceived effectiveness in writing development. A quantitative descriptive method was used, employing a structured questionnaire administered to 78 vocational high school students in Samarinda, Indonesia. The findings indicate that most students find Meta AI easy to access and use, particularly across commonly used devices and in both school and home settings. Students also perceive the platform as cost-effective, reporting no need for financial investment or expensive equipment. In terms of writing support, students agree that Meta AI helps improve grammar, expand vocabulary, and organize ideas more clearly. However, some challenges were identified, such as limited functionality under slow internet conditions and mixed perceptions when comparing Meta AI to paid writing tools. This study suggests that Meta AI holds promise as a democratizing tool in English writing instruction, especially in resource-limited educational environments. The results underscore the importance of improving digital infrastructure and developing strategies to enhance user engagement for long-term learning benefits.

Abstract

Sintang Regency is classified as a disadvantaged area with an extreme poverty status in Indonesia, and is one of the priority regions targeted in the National Action Plan for the Acceleration of Development in Disadvantaged Areas. Jerora Satu Village is one of the 29 villages in Sintang District, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan. Sintang Regency is one of the regencies that directly borders a neighboring country, namely Malaysia, specifically the Sarawak region. The natural resource potential of Jerora Satu Village includes plantations and horticultural agriculture. One of the leading commodities originating from Jerora Satu Village is jawak (Setaria italica) and sweet corn. Jawak has strong potential as an alternative food crop, considering its nutritional content and its ability to grow in dry–climate areas. The nutritional content of jawak is three to five times higher than that of rice and wheat. The majority of residents rely on the agricultural, plantation, or fisheries sectors for their livelihoods. However, household income remains low due to limited technological support for diversified economic development and restricted access to wider markets. In addition, health problems such as stunting among toddlers have been identified; out of 108 toddlers, 20 (20.37%) were found to be stunted. Based on these issues, the proposed community empowerment program by BEM is titled: "Community Empowerment Through Diversification of Local Food Products Based on Jawak (Setaria italica) Seeds for Stunting Prevention and Strengthening the Economy of Jerora Satu Village, Sintang Regency." The Community Empowerment activities through the Diversification of Local Food Products Based on Jawak (Setaria italica) Seeds have been successfully carried out in Jerora Satu Village, Sintang Regency, by the BEM BERDAMPAK STIKARA team with support from the Directorate of Community Service (DPPM), Directorate General of Higher Education, Science and Technology. The program aims to increase the utilization of local food for stunting prevention while strengthening the household economy in Jerora Satu Village by involving local MSME partners and the Jerora Satu Village PKK group. To support the production process, the implementing team provided six production tools, including a rotary–type grain dryer machine as production support equipment. This machine functions to speed up the drying process of jawak seeds without reducing their nutritional quality, while increasing time and labor efficiency. Equipment provided to MSME partners included a grinder machine, an automatic band sealer, and a vacuum fryer. For the PKK partners, the team provided a grain dryer, a dough–mixing machine for bread, and a noodle–making machine. Abstrak Kabupaten Sintang termasuk dalam kategori daerah tertinggal dengan status kemiskinan ekstrim di Indonesia, dan termasuk salah satu daerah prioritas untuk target capaian Rencana Aksi Nasional Percepatan Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal di Indonesia. Desa Jerora Satu merupakan salah satu dari 29 desa yang ada di Kecamatan Sintang, Kabupaten Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. Kabupaten Sintang merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berbatasan langsung dengan negara tetangga yaitu Malaysia, khususnya wilayah Sarawak. Potensi sumber daya alam di Desa Jerora Satu diantaranya adalah perkebunan dan pertanian holtikultura. Salah satu komoditas unggulan yang berasal dari Desa Jerora Satu adalah Jawak (Setaria Italica) dan jagung manis. Tanaman jawak memiliki potensi yang sangat baik sebagai tanaman pangan alternatif ditinjau dari aspek kandungan gizi, dan kemampuan tumbuhnya di daerah beriklim kering. Kandungan gizi dari jawak tiga sampai lima kali lebih baik dari beras dan gandum. Mayoritas penduduk menggantungkan hidup pada sektor pertanian serta perkebunan atau perikanan. Namun, pendapatan warga tetap rendah karena minimnya dukungan teknologi untuk pengembangan ekonomi yang lebih beragam dan terbatasnya akses ke pasar yang lebih luas. Selain itu, ditemukan masalah kesehatan yaitu stunting pada balita, dari 108 balita diketahui 20 balita (20,37%) yang mengalami stunting. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka program pemberdayaan masyarakat oleh BEM yang diusulkan adalah "Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Diversifikasi Produk Pangan Lokal Berbasis Biji Jawak (Setaria Italica) Untuk Pencegahan Stunting Dan Upaya Penguatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Jerora Satu Kabupaten Sintang". Kegiatan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Diversifikasi Produk Pangan Lokal Berbasis Biji Jawak (Setaria italica) telah berhasil dilaksanakan di Desa Jerora Satu, Kabupaten Sintang oleh tim BEM BERDAMPAK STIKARA dengan dukungan dari DPPM Direktorat Jendral Pendidikan Tinggi bidang Saintek. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan pangan lokal dalam pencegahan stunting sekaligus memperkuat ekonomi keluarga Desa Jerora Satu dengan melibatkan mitra UMKM dan PKK Desa Jerora Satu. Untuk mendukung proses produksi, tim pelaksana menyerahkan 6 alat produksi yaitu mesin pengering biji-bijian tipe rotary dryer yang diberikan sebagai alat bantu produksi. Mesin ini berfungsi untuk mempercepat proses pengeringan biji jawak tanpa mengurangi kualitas gizi, sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan tenaga, alat pada mitra UMKM menyerahkan mesin Grinder, bansealer otomatis dan Vacuum Frying, pada Mitra PKK menyerahkan Pengering Biji bijian, Mesin Mixing adonan roti, Mesin cetak mie.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang perlu untuk diberikan stimulasi sejak anak usia dini. Perkembangan kognitif berhubungan dengan pola berfikir, pemecahan masalah dan imajinasi anak. Perkembangan kognitif anak dapat dikembangkan melalui permainan, karena bermain merupakan hal yang dekat dengan anak dan dunia anak adalah dunia bermain. Permainan tidak semuanya berdampak baik bagi anak, sehingga orang tua dan guru harus mengetahui tujuan dan manfaat dari permainan itu sendiri bagi anak. Dalam kajian teori berikut akan membahas tentang permainan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak terutama untuk mengembangkan aspek kognitif anak usia dini.

Permainan tidak semuanya berdampak baik bagi anak, sehingga orang tua dan guru harus mengetahui tujuan dan manfaat dari permainan itu sendiri bagi anak. Dalam kajian teori berikut akan membahas tentang permainan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak terutama untuk mengembangkan aspek kognitif anak usia dini.

Abstract

Optimal drug inventory management can provide cost savings for drug procurement. Two problems are very important in controlling drug inventory, namely deciding the type and quantity of drugs to be ordered. To get a solution for controlling drug inventory, it is necessary to identify and analyze these problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the control system and improve the efficiency of the patient's drug inventory management cycle at the Hospital Pharmacy Installation. Kartika Pulo Mas. This study analyzes the implementation of internal control of drug inventory in hospitals. Kartika Pulo Mas. in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control of drug sales in hospitals. Kartika Pulo Mas. The research method is a scientific way (rational, empirical and systematic) to obtain data with a specific purpose and use, the method that researchers use is the Qualitative Method. From the results of research and discussion that the authors have done at the RS. Kartika Pulo Mas, the authors conclude that the internal control of drug supplies at the hospital. Kartika Pulo Mas has been implemented properly and is running in accordance with applicable regulations. This can be seen from the stages of the SOP that have been implemented which include planning, implementation, reporting and follow-up has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of creative thinking among students in the learning process. This condition can be seen from the students' answers, which are still limited to the contents of the textbook without showing any creative ideas. One of the causes is the lack of teaching materials that can foster creative thinking skills. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of using scientific-based worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an on students' creative thinking skills. These worksheets are designed to stimulate interest in learning, foster curiosity, and encourage students to think creatively through the connection between learning concepts and Islamic values. The type of research used is experimental research with a Quasi Experimental design of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The population and sample in this study consisted of 15 people, namely all fourth-grade students at SDN 09 Simabur, with a sampling technique of total sampling. The research instrument used was an essay test to measure students' creative thinking skills. The results showed that the average pretest score was 53.67, while the average posttest score increased to 89.67. Based on the significance test results, a value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant effect of the use of scientific-based worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an on students' creative thinking skills. Thus, it can be concluded that scientific worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an are effective in improving the creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 09 Simabur.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers and students, which indicate that they have not yet been able to develop students' understanding of natural and social phenomena holistically. However, in practice, there are still various obstacles in IPAS learning, especially in fostering students' critical and scientific thinking skills. One of the problems often encountered is the lack of teaching materials that can produce scientific concepts with religious values, particularly from an Islamic perspective. The purpose of this research is to develop a scientific-based Student Worksheet that integrates verses from the Qur'an. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data collection technique used is the Validity Questionnaire and the Practicality Questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the LKPD developed based on the results from validators 1, 2, and 3 are categorized as very valid with a total score of 98%, and the results of the teacher practicality test are categorized as very valid with a total score of 100%, while the results of the student practicality test are categorized as very valid with a total score of 99%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Scientific-Based LKPD integrated with Quranic verses in the IPAS subject for 4th grade elementary school is categorized as valid and practical.
