Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the process of teaching and learning activities that are carried out offline (offline) to online (online), students must adapt and transform to new habits with online learning methods which are closely related to the existence of an internet network. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of online learning and learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic on the academic achievement of students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive method with a survey method with a quantitative approach. Data collection used primary data and secondary data. Population of 1546 active students according to LLDikti data, while samples were taken using the Slovin formula calculation of 341 respondents. The results of this study are that online learning and learning motivation together (simultaneously) have a positive effect on student achievement variables. That is, the better the value of online learning and learning motivation, the greater the achievement of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Muhammadiyah University Jakarta

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of E-book Reader application on students’ reading comprehension at the second grade of SMAN 16 Gowa. The researcher applied descriptive qualitative research design. The subject of this research was 25 students. The result of this research showed that there were five positive effects by used E-book Reader application were E-book Reader application makes the students read more effectively, E-book Reader application makes easier for students to identify reading structures and main idea, E-book Reader application make students easier to read by using the features available, E-book Reader application makes students enthusiastic in reading and the last by using E-book Reader application the students save time and place. Abstract

This researcher is motivated by the low interest in reading students in learning in the PPKn subject class on the material of characteristic diversity. learning media in schools still use conventional media such as textbooks with lecture methods so that students become less interested in reading. the unavailability of learning media, especially in PPKn subjects on the material of characteristic diversity. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the ADDIE model. The model consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects used with the research consisted of three validators (material experts, linguists, media experts), teachers and students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis in the study in the form of quantitative data obtained from the results of responses, suggestions from experts and teachers as well as based on the results of observations and interviews presented in descriptive form and quantitative data obtained from the results of expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student responses into numbers and interpreted with assessment criteria for product feasibility. The results of this study are picture storybook media that have been declared very valid by experts with an overall average value of 89.16% with very valid criteria and an average percentage of 91.76% with very practical criteria, and its effectiveness obtained an average value of 89.1% with very effective criteria. The illustrated storybook media developed is very valid, practical and effective for increasing students' interest in reading in the subject of Pancasila and civic education (PPKn) material on the diversity of characteristics.

Abstract

The leadership of the school principal has an important role in improving the quality of education in schools. One aspect that is influenced by the leadership of the school principal is the professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers. Professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers is very important to ensure that these teachers can carry out their duties effectively and professionally. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the principal's form of leadership and the professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers in creating appropriate performance at the SMAS Muhammadiyah Lempangang school. To achieve this goal, this research uses quantitative research, namely describing the situation in the school environment based on data and figures obtained in the field, while data collection techniques use observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The positive correlation research results show the Sig value. (2-tailed) between Principal Leadership (X) and Guidance and Guidance Teacher Professional Accountability (Y) is 0.000 < 0.005, which means there is a significant correlation between the principal's leadership variable and Guidance and Guidance Teacher professional accountability.

Abstract

This study seeks to assess the effectiveness of using a series of pictures in teaching third-grade students at Winongo State Elementary School in writing simple essays. This study employed a quantitative methodology employing a quasi-experimental design. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to evaluate simple essay writing skills before and after the intervention. The study sample consisted of two classes, III A and III B, at Winongo State Elementary School, which were allocated into an experimental group (undergoing treatment) and a control group (engaged in conventional learning). Prerequisite analysis included normality and homogeneity tests, while hypothesis analysis used an independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference in students' basic essay writing skills between the experimental and control groups, indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This suggests that the use of a series of pictures is beneficial in teaching simple essay writing skills to third-grade students. Therefore, the use of a series of pictures can be an efficient alternative medium for learning Indonesian, especially in writing simple compositions.

Abstract

Analisis pekerjaan adalah suatu kegiatan sistematis untuk menentukan tugas, kewajiban, dan tanggung jawab suatu posisi, serta pengetahuan, kemampuan, dan keahlian yang diperlukan. Tujuan analisis pekerjaan mencakup berbagai aspek, seperti menentukan kualifikasi yang diperlukan, mendukung seleksi dan penarikan karyawan, mengevaluasi kebutuhan akan program latihan, menilai keluhan tentang keadilan dan kompensasi, mengevaluasi kebutuhan akan promosi atau pemindahan karyawan, menentukan kebutuhan. Analisis pekerjaan tradisional dan berorientasi pada hasil adalah dua jenis analisis pekerjaan. Wawancara, pengisian kuesioner, dan observasi langsung adalah cara umum untuk mendapatkan data analisis pekerjaan. Setiap metode memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan, jadi menggabungkan beberapa metode dapat menghasilkan hasil yang lebih lengkap.Baik publik maupun swasta, analisis pekerjaan mencakup deskripsi pekerjaan, klasifikasi pekerjaan, evaluasi pekerjaan, restrukturisasi pekerjaan, persyaratan karyawan dan spesifikasi, pelatihan karyawan, mobilitas karyawan, efisiensi, keamanan, dan perencanaan tenaga kerja. Analisis pekerjaan yang baik dapat memastikan keberhasilan dalam mencapai tujuan dan mengelola sumber daya manusia dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis menganalisis bahan ajar BIPA dengan memuatkan budaya lokal Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan sumber data dari bahan ajar BIPA dengan memuatkan budaya lokal Sumatera Utara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan konsep teori Prastowo. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu bahan ajar BIPA dengan budaya etnis Batak Angkola sangat membantu penutur bahasa asing dalam memahami bahasa Indonesia dengan nuansa budaya dari suku etnis Batak Angkola, Adapun hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari materi yang disusun secara sistematis dan terstruktur.

Abstract

BACKGROUND Protein deficiency (PD) can lead to kidney damage. Consuming plant-based proteins may improve this condition. Bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea)has an essential amino acid score of 80%, which is higher than other legumes; thus, it is potent in overcoming malnutrition. This study aimed to determine the effect of Bambara groundnut supplementation on kidney histology in adult female mice with PD. METHODS The study was conducted for 2 months in randomly selected female mice. These mice were grouped into the control, PD, and PD supplemented with Bambara groundnuts at 100, 200, and 300 g/kg of feed. 1 day after the last treatment, the kidneys of the mice were collected and processed histologically using the paraffin method (stained with hematoxylin and eosin and Masson’s trichrome). Parameters for observation included histopathological scoring (glomerular and interstitial space fibrosis and tubular damage), kidney histomorphometry, and organ index. Semi-quantitative data were analyzed using the Kruskal–Wallis test, while quantitative data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA (followed by Tukey’s test) and nested t-test. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software version 20 (IBM Corp., USA) (p≤0.05). RESULTS PD caused cell sloughing (moderate level) and dilatation (severe level) of the kidney tubules. It also reduced glomerular diameter and area by approximately 17.66% and 29%, respectively. PD and Bambara groundnut administration had no significant effects on the glomerular number, cortex and medulla thickness, distal and proximal tubule diameter, and kidney organ index (p>0.05). CONCLUSIONS Bambara groundnut (V. subterranea) administration prevented damage to the kidney’s histological structure of protein-deficient mice.

Abstract

Rhuematoid artritis (RA) merupakan penyakit autoimun yang ditandai dengan peradangan sendi kronis dan menyebabkan nyeri berkepanjangan, pembengkakan, dan keterbatasan gerak. Nyeri merupakan salah satu gejala utama yang sangat memengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita RA. Terapi non-farmakologis seperti terapi massage dapat menjadi alternatif dalam mengurangi nyeri. Massage adalah salah satu perawatan tubuh dengan menggunakan kedua tangan pada bagian telapak tangan maupun jari-jari tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan terapi massage terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada Ny. R yang menderita rematoid artritis di Rumah Sehat Zein Holistik. Metode penelitian ini adalah Studi kasus yang menjelajahi suatu masalah. Studi ini dilakukan pada 1 pasien yaitu Ny.R. dengan rhematoid Artritis. Hasil penerapan intervensi terapi message terhadap penurunan nyeri rhematoid artritis pada Ny. R di Rumah Sehat Zein Holistic Therapy bahwa didapatkan tingkat nyeri mengalami penurunan dari nyeri sedang (Skala 5) ke nyeri ringan (Skala 2). Intervensi dilakukan dalam 1 kali pemberian terapi message selama 40 menit. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi massage efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri pada penderita rematoid artritis. Terapi ini dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan intervensi keperawatan komplementer dalam manajemen nyeri kronis.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into education has significantly reshaped how students access and engage with learning materials. Among various innovations, AI-powered tools such as Meta AI have gained attention for their potential to assist students in developing essential language skills, particularly in English writing. As writing remains a fundamental yet challenging aspect of language learning, it is important to understand how students perceive the role of AI tools in supporting their academic progress. This study investigates high school students’ perceptions of Meta AI as an accessible and affordable platform for improving their English writing skills. Grounded in the context of the growing presence of AI in education, the study examines three core dimensions: accessibility, affordability, and perceived effectiveness in writing development. A quantitative descriptive method was used, employing a structured questionnaire administered to 78 vocational high school students in Samarinda, Indonesia. The findings indicate that most students find Meta AI easy to access and use, particularly across commonly used devices and in both school and home settings. Students also perceive the platform as cost-effective, reporting no need for financial investment or expensive equipment. In terms of writing support, students agree that Meta AI helps improve grammar, expand vocabulary, and organize ideas more clearly. However, some challenges were identified, such as limited functionality under slow internet conditions and mixed perceptions when comparing Meta AI to paid writing tools. This study suggests that Meta AI holds promise as a democratizing tool in English writing instruction, especially in resource-limited educational environments. The results underscore the importance of improving digital infrastructure and developing strategies to enhance user engagement for long-term learning benefits.
