Abstract

This research produce a product model of internalization of the character in learning history through Value Clarification Technique as a revitalization of the role of social studies in the formation of national character. In general, this research consist of three levels : (1) doing  pre-survey which identified the current condition of  the learning value of character in ​​in learning history (2) development of a model based on the findings of  pre-survey, the model used is the Dick and Carey Model, and (3) validating the models. Development models implemented with limited trials and extensive testing. The findings of this study lead to the conclusion that the VCT model is effective to internalize the character value in learning history. VCT models effective for increasing the role of learning history in the formation of student character. It can be concluded VCT models effective for improving the quality of processes and products of learning character values ​​in social studies SMP especially in Surakarta Keywords: Internalization, the value of character, Model VCT, learning history, learning social studies Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu produk model internalisasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui Model Value Clarification Technique sebagai revitalisasi peran pembelajaran IPS dalam pembentukan karakter bangsa. Secara garis besar tahapan penelitian meliputi (1) prasurvai untuk mengidetifikasi kondisi pembelajaran nilai karakter pada pembelajaran  IPS Sejarah SMP yang sedang berjalan, (2) pengembangan model berdasarkan hasil prasurvai, model yang digunakan adalah model Dick and Carey, dan (3) vaidasi model. Pengembangan model dilaksanakan dengan ujicoba terbatas dan uji coba luas. Temuan penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa model VCT efektif  menginternalisasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran Sejarah. Model VCT efektif untuk meningkatkan peran pembelajaran Sejarah dalam pembentukan karakter siswa yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan pembentukan karakter bangsa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan model VCT efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan produk  pembelajaran nilai karakter pada mata pelajaran  IPS Sejarah SMP  khususnya di Solo Raya. Kata Kunci : Internalisasi, nilai karakter, Model VCT, pembelajaran Sejarah, IPS.

Abstract

The efforts to improve quality of history learning and to answer the global demand can be carried out by utilizing technology. One of them is by developing the virtual class in history learning. These research and development are intended to produce a collaborative model of history virtual class in order to improve the critical thinking ability on the history values at the students of Senior High School. The research is conducted at a Senior High School in Solo Raya in the year 2014.  This research is designed to apply the development research pursuant to the opinion of Borg and Gall. The data are collected by using the techniques of observation, interview, document analysis, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and questionnaire. The methods applied to analyze the data are the qualitative analysis using interactive model, evaluative and comparatives analyses. The finding of this research produces a conclusion that the model of history virtual class is effective to improve the critical thinking ability on the history values.  The collaborative model of virtual class is effective to improve the role of history learning in stimulating the critical thinking ability of the students which in turn will be able to improve competence of the students.Key words:  History Virtual Class, Critical Thinking Ability, Collaborative Model.Upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sejarah dan untuk menjawab permintaan global dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Salah satunya adalah dengan mengembangkan kelas virtual dalam sejarah pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dimaksudkan untuk menghasilkan model kolaboratif sejarah kelas virtual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada nilai-nilai sejarah di siswa SMA. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Senior di Solo Raya pada tahun 2014. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menerapkan penelitian pengembangan sesuai dengan pendapat Borg dan Gall. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) dan kuesioner. Metode yang diterapkan untuk menganalisis data adalah analisis kualitatif dengan model interaktif, evaluatif dan analisis komparatif. Temuan penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa model sejarah kelas virtual yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada nilai-nilai sejarah. Model kolaboratif kelas virtual adalah efektif untuk meningkatkan peran sejarah pembelajaran dalam merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang pada gilirannya akan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa.Kata kunci: kelas virtual sejarah, kemampuan berpikir kritis, model kolaboratif

Abstract

Abstract:  This study aimed at describing the usage of smartphone and internet in the community of college students which can be the basic on the development of an application. This qualitative-descriptive study was conducted through interviews with teacher staff and surveys with 54 students of History Education Study Program in the Teacher Training and Educational Sciences Faculty. The study result shows that: (1) 47 students (87%) owned Smartphone of their own, while the rest of the students as much as 7 persons (13%) do not have Smartphone, (2) 42 students (87%) stated that they  have Smartphone which connected to internet all the timet, while the rest of the students as much as 6 persons (13%) stated the vice versa, (3) Smartphone application which can be developed is the multi-platform semi-online application with  HTML5 base.   Key words: smartphone, history learning media, and multi-platform Abstrak:  Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menggambarkan tentang penggunaan smartphone dan internet di kalangan mahasiswa yang dapat dijadikan dasar dalam pengembangan sebuah aplikasi. Penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif ini dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan staf pengajar dan survei terhadap 54 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat 47 orang (87%) telah memiliki smartphone pribadi, sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 7 orang (13%) tidak memiliki smartphone, (2) terdapat 42 orang (87%) menyatakan bahwa mereka memiliki smartphone yang selalu terhubung dengan internet setiap saat, sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 6 orang (13%) menyatakan tidak, (3) Aplikasi smartphone yang dapat dikembangkan adalah aplikasi multi-platform semi-online berbasis HTML5.   Kata kunci: smartphone, media pembelajaran sejarah, dan multi-platform

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran metode ceramah plus dan drill terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada  kompetensi dasar efisiensi penggunaan tempat tidur rumah sakit pada mahasiswa  Prodi D3 RM STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment pretest posttest group design. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan paired t-test dan independent t-test. Keseluruhan subjek penelitian adalah 118 mahasiswa. Hasil Penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Samples Test menunjukkan bahwa semua pasangan variabel pair 1, pair 2, pair 3, pair 4 mempunyai nilai p atau sig = 0,000 (<0,05) maka h0 ditolak . Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar  sebelum dan sesudah pemberian metode pembelajaran melalui metode ceramah plus dan metode dril, sehingga metode pembelajaran melalui metode ceramah plus dan metode dril dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar responden. Hasil Uji Independent Samples T Test menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi belajar  mempunyai nilai p atau sig = 0,000 (<0,05), maka Ho ditolak atau motivasi belajar responden melalui metode pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah plus dan  metode  dril benar-benar berbeda. Pada variabel hasil belajar  mempunyai nilai p atau sig = 0,000 (α <0,05), maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar melalui metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode ceramah plus dan metode dril. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Ceramah Plus dan Metode Dril terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar sangat berbeda. Metode dril lebih baik daripada metode ceramah plus.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teaching methods and drill plus a lecture on motivation to learn and learning outcomes of students to the basic competence the efficient use of hospital beds in student Prodi D3 RM STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar. The study design was quasi experimental group pretest-posttest design. The data is processed and analyzed using paired t-test and independent t-test. Overall the study subjects were 118 students. Results based on the results of Paired Samples Test shows that all variable pair 1, pair 2, 3 pair, 4 pair or sig has a value of p = 0.000 (<0.05) then h0 rejected. This means that there are differences in learning motivation and learning outcomes before and after giving a lecture mode of learning methods and methods plus drill, so the method of learning through lecture method plus and drill method can increase learning motivation and learning outcomes of respondents. Independent Test Results Samples T Test showed that the variables of learning motivation or sig has a value of p = 0.000 (<0.05), then Ho is rejected or motivation to learn the respondent through the method of learning by lecture method plus and drill method is completely different. On learning outcome variable has a value of p or sig = 0.000 (α <0.05), then Ho is rejected. This means that there are differences in learning outcomes through a learning method using plus lecture and drill method. Concluded that there are differences in the effect of Learning Method Lectures Plus and Method Dril toward learning motivation and learning outcomes are very different. Drill method is better than the lecture method plus.

Abstract

Abstract: The discipline of learning is a complex matter because it is influenced by many factors. Internal factors such as self-awareness, interest, motivation and emotional maturity, while external factors such as family and school environment. A child must learn to be responsible for these tasks and parents provide sufficient training and provide encouragement to children. The process of interaction between people, a wide range of skills needed to make the process of interaction goes well. For that we need a form of emotional intelligence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and parenting parents with discipline Midwifery Academy student learning. This study is an analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. Target population 4th semester student Midwifery Academy YAPPI Sragen. The subjects of the study a number of 57 students. The independent variables were emotional intelligence and parenting parents and the dependent variable is the discipline of learning. Data processing using multiple linear regression. There is a relationship between emotional intelligence (b = 0.66; CI = 95% = 0.47 to 0.84; p &lt;0.001), parents parenting (b = 1.21; CI = 95% = -1 , 86 to 4.29; p = 0.432). Emotional intelligence and parenting parents together can explain the variation of learning discipline scores of 55.7%, while the rest is explained by other variables not examined. There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and parenting parents with student learning disciplineKeywords: Emotional Intelligence, Parenting Parents, Discipline of Student Learning Abstrak: Kedisiplinan belajar merupakan suatu hal yang kompleks karena dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Faktor internal berupa kesadaran diri, minat, motivasi dan kematangan  emosi, sedangkan faktor eksternal berupa keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah. Seorang anak harus belajar bertanggung jawab atas tugas-tugas tersebut dan orang tua memberikan latihan yang cukup serta memberikan semangat kepada anak. Proses interaksi antara manusia, dibutuhkan berbagai macam ketrampilan agar proses interaksi berjalan dengan baik. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu bentuk kecerdasan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kecerdasan emosi dan pola asuh orang tua dengan kedisiplinan belajar mahasiswa Akademi Kebidanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi sasaran mahasiswa semester 4 Akademi Kebidanan YAPPI Sragen. Subyek penelitian sejumlah 57 mahasiswa. Variabel independen dalam penelitian adalah kecerdasan emosi dan  pola asuh orang tua serta variabel dependen adalah kedisiplinan belajar. Pengolahan data menggunakan regresi linear ganda. Ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi (b=0,66; CI=95% =0,47 hingga 0,84; p&lt;0,001), pola asuh orang tua (b=1,21; CI=95% =-1,86 hingga 4,29; p=0,432). Kecerdasan emosi dan pola asuh orang tua secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan variasi skor kedisiplinan belajar sebesar 55,7%, sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan pola asuh orang tua dengan kedisiplinan belajar mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosi, Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Kedisiplinan Belajar Mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the using of history textbook in the learning process, the role of history textbook to support the cultural literacy of local history, the local history literacy of students, and the need of teaching material that support the local history literacy. This research used qualitative method to get the qualitative data about the using history textbook and the cultural literacy of local history in SMAN 2 Ponorogo. The result showed that: (1) the history textbook that is used has not been supporting the cultural literacy of local history, (2) the cultural literacy of local history of students is in the low level, and (3) the students need a supplementary material of local history that allows them to do research and history writing integrated with the local history.هذا البحث يحلّل إستعمالكتاب التاريخ في التعليم , هذا كتاب التاريخ يساعد التلاميذ في معرفة التاريخ الموضع, إنّ قدرة التلاميذ في معرفة التاريخ ومنهج التعليم التاريخ الموضع لم تكون جيّدا. هذا البحث يستعمل طريقة البحث الوضع, لنيل اللمعلومات التى تتعلّق فى أمر الكتاب التاريخ و حال معرفة التلاميذ فى أمر التاريخ الموضع في مدرسة SMAN 2 Ponorogo . النتيجة من هذا البحث تعنى أنّ الكتاب التاريخ لم يكن جيّدا لمساعدة التلاميذ لفهم التاريخ الموضع بدليل إنّ فهم التلاميذ في  أمر التاريخ  يدخل إلى درجة السفلى. والتلامميذ يحتاجون منهج التعليم التاريخ الجيّد  الذى يساعدهم في البحث و الكتابة التاريخ الموضع.

Abstract

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of teaching materials that play a role to achieve the competencies that must be achieved by the learners. The purpose of this research is to identify the developmental stages of Predict Observe Explain (POE)-based thematic teaching materials, quality, and effectiveness of teaching materials to improve the learners' learning outcomes. This is a research and development technique. The development of this product is done through the design model of ADDIE learning system, i.e. (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) and evaluation. The results show that the POE-based thematic teaching materials has excellent quality on aspects of graphics and material with the score 4,52 and score 4,75 respectively from the aspects of readability, linguistic, and presentation according to the learners as the users of the product. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results show that the average class score that does not use POE-based thematic materials is 75,72, whereas that using POE thematic materials is 82,08. Therefore, the average score in the experimental class is higher than the control one. The Sig. shows 0,010 &lt;0,05, then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. It is concluded that there is a significant value difference between the control and experimental class.

Abstract

Warok is a central figure in the life of Ponorogo Society. The existence, authority, and high social status became a social capital in the perpetuating of an ideology of kanuragan. The groups of Warok has believed that a woman is a source of weakness for mysticists that forces them to resist the lust and avoid a woman. Some of Warok presented a figure of gemblak as diversion of lust as well as an assistant in the various activities. The “menggemblak” behavior was considered not in accordance with religious values and norms because it leads to deviant practices. This study is aimed to analyze the existence of warok and gemblak in the social structure of Ponorogo society and how warok attempted to perpetuate gemblak tradition among the Muslim society as majority. The result showed that the strategic position, social status, and power to influence in the social structure became the social capital to socialize the practice of ablution as kanuragan ideology and it is normal. Meanwhile, the Islamic efforts in shifting the gemblak tradition were carried out through modification of Reog which is considered as an appropriate means of conveying religious values

Abstract

The development of a multidisciplinary integrated project-based learning model was carried out to answer the needs in elementary schools. Learning in elementary schools that use thematic approaches needs to be managed well to improve learning effectiveness. This study uses a type of research and development. The development process uses the Gall, Gall & Borg (2007) model. The preparation of guidelines and student book examples uses the steps of Dick, Carey, & Carey (2009). The model developed is accompanied by derivative products, namely learning manuals and student book examples. Based on this study, learning manuals and student book examples can be used in multidisciplinary integrated project-based learning to improve critical thinking skills and student collaboration.
