Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap Aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa materi statistika di SMPN 9 Mataram. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII Semester I SMPN 9 Mataram. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sumpling, terpilih 2 kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII-A (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining dan kelas VII-B (kelas kontrol) menggunakan model Ceramah,Tanya jawab dan Latihan. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen, Adapun desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group  Design. Hasil perhitungan uji t-test penelitian aktivitas siswa diperoleh thitung = 2,480 > ttabel= 1,66901 dan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh thitung = 2,052 > ttabel= 1,99773 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen (model Student Facilitator and Explaining) dan kelas kontrol (model Ceramah,Tanya jawab dan Latihan).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XA SMA Negeri 1 Batulayar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 pada materi pokok trigonometri. Strategi PQ4R digunakan untuk membantu siswa mengingat apa yang mereka baca dan penilaian portofolio digunakan sebagai dokumentasi hasil karya siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XA SMA Negeri 1 Batulayar sebanyak 15 siswa. PTK ini dikatakan berhasil apabila terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dikatakan tuntas apabila secara klasikal minimal 85% siswa mencapai nilai  75. Dari hasil evaluasi pada siklus I dan siklus II untuk nilai rata-rata kelas siswa yang merupakan kemampuan pemahaman konsep pada penelitian ini berturut-turut adalah 69,23 dengan presentasi ketuntasan 61,53% dan 80,23 dengan presentasi ketuntasan 92,30%. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini terpenuhi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi PQ4R dengan penilaian portofolio pada materi pokok trigonometri dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XA SMA Negeri 1 Batulayar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

Abstract

Guru hanya mengejar target kurikulum, tidak peduli siswa sudah mengerti atau belum yang penting sudah diajarkan. Akibatnya anak tidak mengerti, makin lama makin tidak mengerti yang akhirnya hilang kepercayaan diri anak terhadap matematika dan menganggapnya sebagai pelajaran yang susah dan tidak menyenangkan. Guru kurang memperhatikan peningkatan kualitas kemampuan dirinya, sehingga proses pembelajaran berlangsung monoton dan tidak berkembang. Guru kurang memperhatikan hubungan ikatan emosional dengan para siswanya. Sehingga banyak guru yang hanya kejengkelan, dengan mudahnya mengeluarkan kata-kata yang tidak pantas dan kasar terhadap para siswanya. Tetapi sebaliknya, jarang yang memuji terhadap siswa yang berprilaku positif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) menghasilkan suatu model pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar yang menyenangkan dan menantang dengan  menggunakan model penemuan terbimbing dan pemecahan masalah; 2) mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif pada model pembelajaran matematika Sekolah Dasar yang menyenangkan dan menantang. Pengembangan model pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemp. Pengembangan model ini dimulai dari tahap investigasi awal, perancangan, realisasi,  dan  evaluasi.  Produk yang dikembangkan berupa perangkat pembelajaran  yang terdiri dari; (1) buku  siswa; (2) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran; dan (3) tes hasil belajar. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari; (1) lembar penilaian instumen; (2) lembar validasi; (3) lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran; (4) lembar observasi aktivitas siswa; dan (5) angket respons siswa. Instrumen dan perangkat pembelajaran divalidasi terlebih dahulu sebelum diujicobakan di lapangan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan 2 kali uji coba. Uji coba 1 dilakukan di kelas IV SD Negeri 19 Ampenan dan uji coba 2 dilakukan di kelas IV-A dan IV-B pada SD Negeri 44 Ampenan. Dengan demikian melalui penelitian ini menghasilkan produk, yakni rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan buku siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran sebagai pendukung penerapan model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan menantang dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut terdiri dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Buku Siswa (BS). Perangkat-perangkat pembelajaran tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan menurut ahli dan hasil uji coba menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran tersebut dapat mendukung penerapan model pembelajaran terlaksana secara efektif

Abstract

Digital-based learning in today's era has become a necessity to improve the quality of learning. This is due to the challenges of the times that require every educational institution to continue to innovate and develop in this digital era. The large number of students choosing online programs also poses a challenge for educational institutions to create learning that is safer, more comfortable, and more flexible. Therefore, this study analyzes the impact of using e-learning platforms at the Akademi Bisnis Lombok in supporting every lecture process, both in regular and online programs. We found that the impact of using this platform is significant and positive. This can be seen from the responses of lecturers and students who feel that this platform has helped them during the lecture process. However, on the other hand, there are still several aspects that need to be developed in the future to create a platform that can support learning needs comprehensively.

Abstract

Transformational leadership is a style focused on change and the development of positive values within educational institutions. The principal, as a leader in learning, has the duty to direct all members of the school towards developing a robust religious and disciplined character. Nonetheless, observations conducted in various elementary schools in Central Lombok Regency reveal that the application of transformational leadership values remains limited, particularly concerning the principals' roles as religious role models and their discipline. This community service initiative seeks to offer transformational leadership support to elementary school principals in Central Lombok to cultivate a religious and disciplined character in school administration. The activity method is executed in four stages: (1) preparation and collaboration with the local education office, (2) training and workshops in transformational leadership, (3) direct support at schools, and (4) assessment and reflection on the outcomes of the activity. This initiative engaged 35 elementary school principals from Praya District, Central Lombok over a period of three day. The activity's outcomes demonstrated a notable improvement in the principals' comprehension of transformational leadership, their capacity to create a vision and mission rooted in religious values, and their consistency in enforcing work discipline within the school setting. Moreover, a network of key communities was established aimed at enhancing religious culture and discipline within their individual schools. This mentoring initiative showcased the success of a transformational leadership style as a character-development strategy for elementary school principals in Central Lombok. There are hopes that comparable initiatives can persistently evolve in a sustainable manner to enhance the quality of leadership and educational administration at the primary school level.

Abstract

Empowering MSMEs in Karang Bongkot Village through training in business English, digital marketing, and e-commerce aims to increase production capacity, digital marketing capabilities, and international business communication. This program responds to the challenges of low technology adoption and limited English language skills for national and international market penetration. The training is conducted using a blended learning method and supported by production technology innovations. Results show an increase in production capacity of up to 250 units per month, 100% adoption of Facebook and Instagram by participants, increased sales, and strengthened product branding. The main challenges are mastering English and advanced digital marketing, which require ongoing guidance. This program serves as the foundation for SME transformation toward broader and more competitive markets.

Abstract

Nutritional problems such as stunting and anemia in children, as well as the increasing prevalence of degenerative diseases among the productive-age population, remain major public health challenges in Indonesia. Children living in orphanages are at higher risk of nutritional problems due to limited access to balanced meals, lack of health education, and suboptimal living conditions. This community service program aimed to screen for stunting and anemia among children and to detect early risk factors for degenerative diseases among orphanage caregivers. The partner of this activity was Panti Asuhan Generasi Pengubah Kupang, which accommodates children from underprivileged families. The methods included anthropometric measurements, hemoglobin and hematocrit assessments and lipid profile and blood glucose examinations. Additionally, health education sessions were conducted on anemia, stunting, and metabolic syndrome using educational posters and interactive discussions. The results showed that 60.4% of respondents experienced anemia, predominantly mild anemia, and several children were identified as being at risk of stunting. Lipid profile and blood glucose screening among caregivers revealed elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels in two respondents, indicating a high risk of cardiovascular disease and prediabetes. The health education sessions improved participants’ knowledge regarding balanced nutrition, physical activity, and the importance of regular health check-ups. This program successfully enhanced health awareness, improved caregivers’ skills in independent health monitoring, and strengthened collaboration with local primary health care centers for follow-up and routine monitoring.

Abstract

The increasing number of elderly individuals in Indonesia has led to a higher prevalence of degenerative diseases, including hyperuricemia. Elevated uric acid levels are often associated with a sedentary lifestyle and low physical activity. Elderly individuals living in social institutions tend to have uniform activity patterns and limited mobility, which may increase their risk of developing elevated uric acid levels. To analyze the relationship between physical activity intensity and uric acid levels among elderly residents at the Kupang Elderly Social Welfare Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD). This was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design involving 45 elderly participants selected through purposive sampling. The intensity of physical activity was assessed using the Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly (PASE) questionnaire, while uric acid levels were measured using a Glucose, Cholesterol, and Uric Acid (GCU) Meter Device. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Spearman’s Rho test at a significance level of p < 0.05. Most respondents were aged 60–69 years, and the majority were female. Most elderly participants had low physical activity levels and elevated uric acid levels. The Spearman’s Rho test showed a significant relationship between physical activity intensity and uric acid levels (p < 0.05). There is a significant relationship between physical activity intensity and uric acid levels among elderly individuals at the Kupang Elderly Social Welfare UPTD. Regular physical activity with appropriate intensity according to individual capacity is important to maintain purine metabolism balance and prevent the risk of hyperuricemia.

Abstract

One of Indonesia's most important commodities, cocoa plants play a crucial role in both the agricultural and financial sectors. In any event, this plant is particularly susceptible to a variety of diseases that can completely reduce its effectiveness, including stem cancer, VSD, natural product spoilage, and others. This article discusses how to use the YOLOv8 technique to develop a framework for sickness conclusion research in cocoa plants. The YOLOv8 computation was selected for this analysis due to its emphasis on handling speed and object recognition with high accuracy. The results showed that the YOLOv8 demonstration could accurately identify damage, reaching a 90% mAP. As a result of these developments, the produced show may be a useful tool to help farmers better monitor and control pest attacks. It is expected that using YOLOv8 to identify damage to cocoa natural products will result in a more effective plan for reducing the likelihood of lower yields from insect attacks.
