Abstract

Inkubator merupakan alat penetas telur ikan yang sudah sejak lama digunakan, aliran air yang dihasilkan di dalam inkubator terjadi upwelling air yang mengakibatkan telur ikan selalu bergerak dan terjadi oksigenasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh salinitas berbeda terhadap embriogenesis, daya tetas dan survival rate ikan nila salin pada bak inkubator serta untuk mengetahui salinitas terbaik yang dapat menghasilkan daya tetas telur dan survival rate ikan nila. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi secara langsung dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati objek secara langsung apabila terjadi gejala-gejala pada subjek yang diteliti, observasi yang dilakukan yaitu proses embriogenesis, hatching rate dan survival rate. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan 4 ulangan. Masing-masing perlakuan diulangi 4 kali sehingga jumlah percobaan sebanyak 20 unit. Penempatan hewan uji coba ke dalam 5 perlakuan secara acak. Perlakuan A: salinitas 0 ppt  Perlakuan B: salinitas 5 ppt, Perlakuan C : salinitas 10 ppt, Perlakuan D : salinitas 15 ppt, Perlakuan E : salinitas 20 ppt. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis ANOVA atau uji F, dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh perlakuan. Perlakuan salinitas berbeda pada penetasan telur ikan nila salin memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap embriogenesis, daya tetas dan suvival rate telur ikan nila salin pada bak inkubator. Perlakuan dengan salinitas 0, 5 dan 10 ppt merupakan salinitas terbaik untuk menghasilkan daya tetas dan survival rate tertinggi telur ikan nila salin di bak inkubator.

Abstract

Social independence and alternative efforts to improve the village economy are joint or collaborative efforts through community service activities. The form of community service activities can be in the form of information transfer, education and technology or other planned activities. One of these fields can be agricultural activities, namely plant breeding or cell multiplication which functions to meet the need for seeds, especially for home gardens, ornamental plants, plantations, food and horticulture, all of which can be done independently for sale or to meet one's own needs. Cultivation of garden and horticultural crops in Suling Wetan Village still uses conventional methods which greatly affect overall production results. The macropropagation technique is an effort to obtain quality seeds that have viability, disease resistance and superior characteristics and are able to maintain the same characteristics as their parents. The service activities received a very good response from the Suling Wetan village farmer group and the general public. Farming groups or the general public can utilize macropropagation technology to support agricultural production at low costs and become an alternative source of income.

Abstract

Aquaponik adalah sistem pertanian berkelanjutan dimana merupakan penggabungan budidaya ikan atau perikanan dengan penanaman tanaman baik sayuran atau buah buahan dalam satu lingkungan dimana saling mendukung atau biasanya dikembangkan dalan konsep dasar Aquaponik menggabungkan akuakultur (budidaya ikan) dan hidroponik (budidaya tanaman tanpa tanah). Pemberian ikan di bak atau kolam air, dimana akan menghasilkan limbah dalam bentuk amonia. Bakteri nitrifikasi mengubah amonia menjadi nitrat yang lebih rendah beracun. Air yang kaya nutrisi ini kemudian digunakan untuk menyuburkan tanaman dalam sistem hidroponik. Sistem kerja air yang mengandung limbah ikan dialirkan ke sistem hidroponik, di mana tanaman menyerap nutrisi yang ada dalam air. Tanaman ini menyaring air dan menghilangkan kelebihan nutrisi dan zat berbahaya, sementara akar mereka memberikan oksigen ke dalam air. Setelah air diolah oleh tanaman, air bersih dikembalikan ke bak ikan, menciptakan lingkaran yang berkelanjutan. Program pengabdian bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang konsep dan manfaat aquaponik serta potensi keberlanjutan dan keuntungan ekonomi dari metode ini.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Islamic developments on the world of education in Indonesia from a historical perspective. Since the arrival of Islam to the archipelago in the 13th century, this religion has made a significant contribution to the formation of the education system in this region. Through madrasas, Islamic boarding schools and Islamic schools, Islamic teachings have been absorbed into the educational curriculum which includes religious, moral and general knowledge lessons. This research uses historical methods with a qualitative approach to analyze data from various primary and secondary sources, including manuscripts, historical documents and academic literature. The results of the study show that Islamic education not only plays a role in spreading religion, but also in forming the character, ethics and intellect of Indonesian society. Apart from that, the development of Islamic education also adapts to social and political dynamics, and contributes to the progress of national education in the modern era. These findings confirm that Islamic education has a strategic role in the formation of identity and the development of educational culture in Indonesia.

Abstract

Model Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) merupakan pengembangan model regresi panel yang diaplikasikan pada data spasial. Model GWPR yang dibahas pada penelitian ini adalah Fixed Effect Model (FEM) spasial. Penaksiran parameter model GWPR dilakukan pada setiap lokasi pengamatan menggunakan pembobot spasial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persentase penduduk miskin tahun 2017-2019 di 10 Kabupaten/Kota Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penaksiran parameter model GWPR menggunakan metode Weighted Least Square (WLS). Pembobot spasial pada penaksiran parameter ditentukan menggunakan fungsi pembobot terbaik di antara pembobot fixed gaussian, fixed bisquare, fixed tricube, dan adaptive bisquare. Penentuan bandwidth optimum menggunakan kriteria Cross Validation (CV) dan diperoleh fungsi pembobot dengan nilai CV minimum adalah adaptive bisquare. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian parameter model GWPR, disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap persentase penduduk miskin bersifat lokal dan berbeda-beda di 10 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dan bersifat lokal terhadap persentase penduduk miskin adalah indeks pembangunan manusia, umur harapan hidup, pendapatan domestik regional bruto, tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja, tingkat pengangguran terbuka, dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasi dan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) diperoleh bahwa model GWPR lebih baik daripada model regresi panel global dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 94,40% dan nilai RMSE sebesar 0,0451. Abstract

Coffee (Coffea spp.) is one of the leading commodities, which contributed 42.98 percent to the export value of the annual crop agricultural sector in 2013-2020. The productivity of Robusta coffee plants in the Jember region has tended to decrease significantly over the last 5 years. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can be used to determine the distribution of organic C and soil water content as a basis for proper land management. The results showed that the percentage of ideal distribution area for organic C content was 94.94%, and the soil water content was at a value of 6.92-18.68%, where the status of moderate soil water content dominated by 59% of the total land. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the organic C variable (X1) had an effect of 29% and soil water content (X2) 10% productivity values. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis showed a strong influence of 63% on the value of productivity. The age factor also has an effect of 57% on the value of productivity.

Abstract

Jember Regency is one of the national food storage areas. One of the most important resources in cultivating food crops is water which comes from rainfall. The existence of rainfall data is very important in planning and implementing agricultural activities. Limited rainfall data is the main problem for agricultural planning. One solution to this problem is to utilize rainfall data from CHIRPS (Climate Hazards Group Infrared Precipitation Station). The use of CHIRPS data is still biased data, so bias correction is needed to measure the level of accuracy of CHIRPS data for estimating rainfall in an area. Bias correction is carried out using two methods, namely multiple linear regression and power regression. The correction results show that the multiple linear regression method is able to produce monthly rainfall that is close to observations with an RMSE value of 3.9 and a coefficient of determination of 0.99. Temporally, the peak of the rainy season in Jember Regency occurs in December while the dry season is in August. In the rainy season (December-January and February) Jember Regency's rainfall is around 300-500 mm/month and in the dry season (June-July-August) it is in the range of 50-200 mm/month. Spatially, the northern part of Jember, especially Sumberbaru, Bangsalsari and Tanggul subdistricts, is wetter than the Jember Regency area as a whole. The southern part of Jember, especially those close to the coast, has lower rainfall than other regions. In the dry season, rainfall in this region is less than 20 mm/month.

Abstract

Addressing the global food demand is an urgent priority for governments worldwide. Efficient and effective methods for gauging crop production are crucial. Relying solely on ground-based measurements proves inefficient and expensive, prompting exploration of remote sensing using vegetation indices as a viable alternative. This study sought to achieve three objectives: estimating chlorophyll content in paddy fields, evaluating leaf nitrogen content, and predicting yields. The investigation utilized Sentinel-2A satellite imagery, Soil Plant Analysis Development (SPAD) for chlorophyll measurement, and employed statistical and accuracy analyses. Findings revealed an increase in chlorophyll and leaf nitrogen content from the vegetative to maturity phases, followed by a decline at maturity. NDVI and GNDVI emerged as superior to SAVI and VARI for chlorophyll estimation, attributed to their spectral sensitivity. Likewise, nitrogen prediction showed similar trends, with NDVI and GNDVI exhibiting better RMSE values compared to SAVI and VARI, albeit marginally. However, yield prediction accuracy varied, with NDVI proving most accurate, followed by SAVI, VARI, and GNDVI, indicating the latter's reduced predictive precision due to nitrogen sensitivity. In scenarios where nitrogen is not the predominant yield-limiting factor, NDVI could outperform GNDVI in forecasting yield. Received: 2023-07-22 Revised: 2024-04-18 Accepted: 2024-08-24 Published: 2024-10-10

Abstract

Hierarchical cluster analysis is an analysis used to classify data based on its characteristics. The average linkage method and the Ward method are methods of hierarchical cluster analysis. Grouping data from various aspects, one of which is poverty. This study uses poverty indicator data in East Kalimantan in 2018. The average linkage method is based on the average distance size, while the Ward method is based on the size of the distance between clusters by minimizing the number of squares. The purpose of this study was to determine the best method based on the average value of the standard deviation ratio. The results of the study using the average linkage method obtained two clusters, both the average linkage method and the Ward method both obtained two clusters. Where in the average linkage method, the first cluster consists of 7 districts / cities and the second cluster consists of 3 districts / cities. Whereas in the Ward method, the first cluster consists of 6 districts / cities and the second cluster consists of 4 districts / cities. For the best method based on the average standard deviation ratio in groups (Sw) and the standard deviation between groups (Sb), it is found that the ratio in the Ward method is smaller than the average linkage method, which is 2,681 which indicates that the average linkage method is the best method.

Abstract

Assignment problem that maximize profits or minimize time, distance and cost by placing the appropiate workforce with ability. Solving the assignment problem can be done by dynamic program method. To apply the dynamic program method the number of sources assigned should be equal to the number of tasks to be completed.Otherwise each source should be assigned only for one task. The purpose of this study is to determine the minimum total time of completion of work and know the assignment of employees has been optimal. The data used is the time of assignment of employees completing the work on the worksop in showroom CV. Sinar Utama of Samarinda. From the analysis result using dynamic program method obtained by total completion time of 85 minutes and by looking at the comparison before and after using dynamic program method that total employee assignment time by using dynamic program method equal to 257 minutes and before using dynamic program method that is equal to 530 minutes. It can be concluded that the total minimum work completion time of 85 minutes and based on the comparison before and after using the dynamic program method idicates that the assignment of employee has been optimal.
