Abstract

Hasil penyelenggaraan pendidikan PPs Unnes perlu dikaji peran dan kinerja lulusan sehingga dapat diketahui prospek pengembangan kinerja lulusan dan langkah pengembangan pendidikan PPs. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah (1) Seberapa singkat masa tunggu lulusan? (2) Seberapa tinggi tingkat kesesuaian bidang studi dengan pekerjaan? (3) Seberapa besar kesempatan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan ilmu? (4) Seberapa besar kesempatan promosi dan pengembangan karir di lingkungan kerja? (5) Seberapa besar dampak hasil studi terhadap kinerja lulusan? Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kinerja lulusan yang mencakup (1) masa tunggu lulusan, (2) kesesuaian bidang studi dengan bidang pekerjaan (3) kesempatan meningkatkan dan mengembangkan ilmu; (4) kesempatan promosi dan pengembangan karir; dan (5) dampak hasil studi terhadap kinerja. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian survey. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) 86,2% lulusan menyatakan sudah bekerja pada saat mendaftar S2, (2) 83,8% lulusan menyatakan pilihannya sesuai bidang studi, (3) 91,3% lulusan menyatakan sejak masih kuliah sudah mendapatkan kesempatan menerapkan dan mengembangkan ilmu yang diperoleh di lingkungan pekerjaan, (4) 40,1% lulusan menyatakan mendapatkan peningkatan karir dan promosi pada saat studi berlangsung, (5) 88,8% lulusan menyatakan hasil studi di PPs sepenuhnya dapat diterapkan untuk pelaksanaan pekerjaan. Saran adalah (1) Perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan pemberian informasi kepada stakeholders, (2) para lulusan perlu menjalin komunikasi dengan pimpinan lembaga kerja.The provision of education is necessary to study the role of PPs Unnes and performance of graduates so that they can know the performance of the development prospects of graduates and educational development steps PPs. (3) How big is the opportunity to improve and develop the science? (4) How big is the chance of promotion and career development in the workplace? This study aims to describe and analyze the performance of graduates that includes (1) graduates waiting period, (2) compliance with the field work field of study (3) the opportunity to improve and develop the knowledge, (4) promotion and career development opportunities, and (5) the impact of the results Study on performance. This research method is a survey research methods. The conclusions in this study were (1) 86.2% of graduates claimed was working at the time of registering S2, (2) 83.8% of graduates expressed preferences for the field of study, (3) 91.3% stated since I was in college graduates have the opportunity implement and develop the knowledge gained in the work environment, (4) 40.1% of graduates claimed gain career advancement and promotion at the time the study took place, (5) 88.8% graduate studies at the PPs stated fully applicable for the execution of work. Suggestions are (1) Need to socialize and to provide information to stakeholders, (2) the graduates need to establish communication with the leaders of labor organizations.

Abstract

Kompetensi profesional guru Fisika SMA dalam pembuatan Karya Tulis Ilmiah (KTI) masih sangat rendah, sehingga pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan (PKB) guru dalam bidang KTI harus ditingkatkan, dikembangkan dan didampingi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model diklat partisipatif dengan pendekatan kolaboratif-integratif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru Fisika SMA dalam pembuatan KTI sebagai upaya pendampingan Pengawas Sekolah dalam PKB Guru. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian secara kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil tahap pengembangan dan ujicoba terbatas. Penilaian kevalidan model PIKOLA oleh ahli dan praktisi mendapat skor 39,67 dengan kategori baik. Kefektifan model PIKOLA dibuktikan dengan kualitas penyelenggaraan pelatihan dengan skor 114 kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan model PIKOLA dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata tes akhir 28,125 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata tes awal 12,3. Selain itu, keefektifan model PIKOLA juga dibuktikan peserta untuk membuat KTI dengan nilai rata-rata 50 dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a financial management model for school-based 9-year basic education learning obligatory in the District of Kudus, Central Java. This study employed a Research and Development approach, in which the actual model obtained from the preliminary study was developed into a model design which was appropriate with the ideal condition in the District. Then, the final model of financial management for school-based 9-year basic education was determined through a focused group discussion attended by practitioners as well as experts in the related field. The results of the data analysis show that the financial model of basic education which had been implemented so far was not appropriate any longer given that the financial aid provided by the central government along with the provincial as well as district government on the basis of the number of students without taking into account the differential factors was not in line with the real needs of the schools. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a financial model of the basic education by considering achievement as the standard measure, in which the School Operational Aid (BOS) from the central and provincial government remains based on the number of students annually, while the subsidy from the residential government is still capable of covering the lack of the whole school needs under the conditions that the school is obliged to (1) arrange the School Budget and Activity Plan  (RKAS) on the basis of EDS, (2) arrange the prioritized programs on the basis of the school vision and mission by (3) considering the school status, 4) average scores of the National Examinations (UN) and other achievements. The theoretical implication is that the model resulted from this study confirms Grubb, Rebbeca Allen’s theory that the students’ achievement is determined by fund; it also confirms Psacaropoulos that quality education requires high investment and that this development model is the realization of financial management functions as they were proposed by Harold Thomas Jones, and Warsono as well as the financial management theory proposed by Blocher.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to find out a final model of integrated character education curriculum management (henceforth PKPKI) that is suitable to be implemented at the Educational Institution of Education personnel (henceforth LPTK). This study was designed according to Borg and Gall’s (1989) Research and Development as it was adopted by Sugiyono (2010). The research procedures basically consisted of the introductory, developmental, and evaluative phases. The data sources were informants from the PPKn study program of three institutions, i.e. UPGRIS, IVETS, and UNDARIS. Data were drawn from the respondents through interview, observation, documentary review, and focus group discussion (FGD). The validity of the data was viewed from the perspective of credibility test by means of data source, data collection technique and member check triangulation, The data were then processed using interaction analysis. The results of this study show that the final PKPKI model is feasible to be implemented at the Pancasila and Civics Education (henceforth PPKn) Study Program of LPTK-s.

Abstract

This study is aimed to: (1) identify performance measurement model hospitals as educational institutions that have been implemented (2) produce a design model of hospital performance measurement as an educational institution base on the balanced scorecard, (3) analyze the effectiveness of the performance of the developed measurement model. The research model and development is carried out in the Hospital Pulmonary dr. Ario Wirawan Salatiga. Subjects were apprenticeship program participants, apprenticeship supervisor and hospital employees. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected to be analyzed using descriptive statistics and accuracy test model. The results of research and development show that (1) model of hospital performance measurement as an educational institution that is used today is the Government Performance Accountability Report; (2) the result of the model that is based on the Balanced Scorecard performance measurement shows that the development of indicators of customer perspective is customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, relationship quality, trust and customer acquisition; the development of financial perspective is accountability, economic ratios, the ratio of the efficiency and effectiveness ratio; the development of internal business process perspective is quality assurance, quality of facilities - infrastructure, innovation, patient preference, outpatient visits and hospitalization and use of the bed; and the development of learning and growth perspective is the instructor competence, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, work motivation, employee retention and employee productivity (3) The effectiveness of the measurement model that is developed is ability to provide a comprehensive framework to describe the hospitals vision and mission as an educational institution.

Abstract

Penggunaan suplemen bahan ajar seperti LKS sering dimanfaatkan untuk membantu pemahaman peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Namun, masih banyak peserta didik yang belum memahaminya. Hal ini terjadi salah satunya karena konsep yang disampaikan dalam LKS kurang faktual seperti penggunaan sederetan transaksi sebagai dasar penyusunan jurnal umum. Penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih konvensional memberikan sumbangsih dalam pemahaman peserta didik. Dengan demikian, perlu dilakukan pengembangan LKS dengan pendekatan pembelajaran tertentu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi peneliti, guru, dosen, dan melibatkan partisipasi peserta didik. Penilaian kualitas LKS didasarkan pada aspek penilaian pendekatan penulisan, kebenaran konsep, kedalaman konsep, keluasan konsep, kejelasan kalimat, kebahasaan, penilaian hasil belajar, kegiatan peserta didik, keterlaksanaan, penampilan fisik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, LKS faktual masih harus dikembangkan karena terdapat kelemahan diantaranya pada aspek pendekatan penulisan, aspek keluasan konsep, aspek kebahasaan, aspek penilaian hasil belajar, aspek kegiatan peserta didik, aspek keterlaksanaan, dan aspek penampilan fisik. LKS berbasis PBL tahap pencatatan perusahaan jasa yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti memiliki kualitas sangat baik. Penilaian ini berdasarkan dari penilaian validator. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan pengembangan lebih lanjut terhadap LKS berbasis PBL.The use of supplementary teaching materials such as students worksheets are often applied to help students’ understanding on the stages of accounting in service companies. However, many of them do not recognize it as it is. One of the reasons is because the concepts presented on the LKS are less factual, e.g. the use of a series of transactions prior to the construct general journal. Applied conventional learning approaches have also contributed to the comprehension of the students. It was conducted with the collaboration of the researcher, teachers, lecturers, and students’ participation. Student Worksheet have not developed because there are various weaknesses on aspects like the writing approach, concepts accuracy, concepts depth, concepts broadness, the clarity of the sentences, language, learning outcomes assessment, students activities, feasibility and its appeal. Student Worksheet with PBL recording stage service companies that developed by researchers has very good quality. This assessment is based on the assessment validator. Researchers can then perform further development of the worksheets.

Abstract

Training management of learning for high school chemistry teachers in Semarang has not been implemented properly. It can be seen from the need analysis of chemistry teachers that have not been managed well. Pedagogical competence of teachers is not optimal, so that it is necessary for developing a better training management model. This study aims to analyze the factual model, design the hypothetical model, and set the final model of training management for high school chemistry teachers in Semarang, along with the effectiveness test. The research method used was research and development method. The results showed that in the factual model, the need analysis of training was not done, so the relevance was low and the learning process was less attractive and meaningful. Moreover, the control was also not carried out effectively so it could not assess the reaction and the impact of the training. Based on that factual model, the researcher arranged hypothetical model and then compiled the final model that is the development of training management model of Chemo-entrepreneurship (CEP) integrated soft skill learning for high school chemistry teachers in Semarang. The training management model includes three stages: (1) the planning stage; (2)the implementation stage; and (3)the control stage. The Training Management Model of Soft Chemo-Entrepreneurship Integrated Soft Skill Learning (MPPSS-CEP model) has high level of effectiveness and it is easy to be implemented for high school chemistry teachers.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze to what extent the factors affect the performanceof guidance teachers/counselors and to find the factors that greatly influencethe performance of guidance teachers/ counselors. The population consistedof 239 guidance teachers/counselors of Junior High Schools in Semarang. Thesample consisted of 200 guidance teachers/ counselors, selected by using a proportionalrandom sampling technique. The data were collected by using closed selfassessmentquestionnaires. The result of the try-out of the questionnaires showedthat 144 items were valid and reliable. Structural Equation Modeling Applications(SEM) through LISREL was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that 1)pedagogical competence, work motivation, supervision and school culture affectthe performance of the guidance teachers or counselors, and 2) pedagogical competenceand school culture have great effect on the performance of the guidanceteachers/counselors

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis karakteristik anggota, proses pelaksananaan, serta dampak pelaksanaan pendidikan kewirausahaan di KUBe Anugrah. Berdasarkan tujuan tersebut, peneliti dapat membentuk suatu pola pendidikan kewirausahaan yang dilaksanakan di KUBe Anugrah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Hasilnya, karakteristik anggota KUBe Anugrah sangat beragam yang diklasifikasikan dalam tingkat pendidikan formal, usia, status pekerjaan, tingkat produktivitas, pendapatan per bulan, dan daerah tinggal. Di sisi lain, terdapat kesamaan antara anggota satu dengan lainnya, yaitu keterampilan menjahit. pelaksanaan pendidikan di KUBe Anugrah melalui metode pelatihan dan pembinaan dengan melibatkan anggota sebagai sasaran dan sumber belajar. Melalui dua metode tersebut, pelaksanaan pendidikan kewirausahaan di KUBe Anugrah memiliki dampak yang terbagi dalam tiga jenis, yaitu peningkatan kepribadian, peningkatan pendapatan dan fleksibilitas waktu, dan peningkatan partisipasi sosial ekonomi masyarakat dalam pembangunan. Kesimpulannya, pemerintah memerlukan perhatian yang sama antara pendidikan formal dan nonformal, sehingga setiap orang yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengikuti pendidikan formal dapat memiliki keterampilan dan mencukupi kebutuhannya secara mandiri. The objectives of this research are to describe and analyze the members characteristics, implementation process, and the impact of entrepreneurship education at KUBe Anugrah. Based on that’s, researcher can make the pattern of entrepreneurship education that implementation at KUBe Anugrah. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods phenomenology. As a result, the characteristics of KUBe Anugrah’s member is very heterogeneous who distinguished in the level of formal education, age, employment status, production capacity, revenue per month, and living area. On the other hand, there are similarities, that’s sewing skills. Implementation of education at KUBe Anugrah through training and coaching methods that involve members as targets and learning resources. While the impact of the activities at KUBe Anugrah divided in the three types, there are the personality development, increase people’s invome and time flexibility, and increased participation in the socio-economic development. Based on these findings, the suggestion is the government need for equal attention between formal and non-formal education, so that people with disabilities to participate in formal education may have the skills and meet their needs independently.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is a type of secondary education that specifically prepares its graduates to become skilled and trained workers. Therefore, there is an urgency to provide a marketing service for the graduates through a special employement unit (BKK). This study discusses the development of a BKK management model in SMK. The preparation of BKK model design began with the field study to obtain factual condition in the field. This research was conducted using of Research and Development (R & D) method. This study was set in four vocational schools which had BKK. The four study sites were in SMK N 4 Semarang BKK, SMK N 6 Semarang BKK, SMK N 8 Semarang BKK, SMK N 9 Semarang BKK, as well as the representatives of industrial market in Central Java. The steps of the model in this study include (1) a factual analysis models of Special employement unit (BKK), (2) development of a conceptual model, (3) the needs analysis of BKK, (4) the development of a hypothetical model, (5) the development of a final model. The results show that the factual conditions in SMK BKK do not exhibit any optimal progress, especially dealing with their duties in marketing the SMK graduates. The aspect of finance greatly affects the implementation of SMK BKK. BKK Model Management in SMK is expected to overcome the problems encountered in the area of BKK
