Abstract

Spirulina platensis merupakan mikroalga dengan kandungan pigmen tertinggi yaitu fikosianin. Pemanfaaatan fikosianin sebagai bahan baku industri sudah banyak digunakan. Lebih jauh lagi, keberhasilan ekstraksi pigmen fikosianin mengarah kepada potensinya sebagai antitumor, antiinflamasi, antimikroba, dan antioksidan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kandungan pigmen fikobiliprotein mikroalga Spirulina platensis strain BBPBAP dan menentukan konsentrasi dan nilai LC50 ekstrak mikroalga Spirulina platensis strain BBPBAP dengan metode uji BSLT dengan teknik ekstraksi waktu freezing  yang berbeda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental laboratorium dengan analisis data secara deskriptif. Uji kandungan pigmen fikobiliprotein dilakukan dengan uji spektrofotometri dan uji toksisitas ekstrak Spirulina platensis dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai LC50-24 jam dengan metode uji BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test). Hasil uji kandungan pigmen fikobiliprotein Spirulina platensis strain BBPBAP Jepara didapatkan pigmen fikobiliprotein tertinggi yaitu pigmen allo-fikosianin serta perlakuan tanpa freezing (K) memiliki kandungan tertinggi di antara dua perlakuan lain, yaitu sebesar fikoeritrin = 28 mg/ml, fikosianin = 81 mg/ml, dan allo-fikosianin = 97 mg/ml. Hasil uji toksisitas BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) ekstrak Spirulina platensis dengan pelarut aquades memperlihatkan bahwa nilai LC50-24 jam sebesar 0,176 ppm.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: Fe metal content and Fe pollution levels in water, sediment, and blood cockle (Anadara granosa) in Morosari River and Gonjol River, and coastal adjacent, Prefecture Sayung, Demak Regency. Sampling was carried out based on different time periods or seasons, i.e. July 2010 and November 2011. The research method applied was the case study method. While the selection of sampling locations, using the method of judgment (purposive sampling method). Heavy metal analysis performed using Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results of Fe metal content in the water showed, in July 2010: the highest at Station A4 = 25.29 mg/l and the lowest at Station B2 = 1.35 mg/l; in November 2011: the highest at Station A3 = 3.23 mg/l and the lowest at Station A2 = 0.42 mg/l. Fe metal content in the sediment, in July 2010: the highest at station B6 = 32477.34 mg/kg and the lowest at Station B1 = 14017.14 mg/kg, while in November 2011: the highest at Station A5 = 68065.87 mg/kg and lowest at Station B1 = 33667.39 mg/kg. Fe metal contents in soft tissue blood clam (Anadara granosa) in July 2010: the highest at station B5 = 2068.22 mg/kg, while in November 2011: the highest value found in the A4 station at 8.25 mg/kg.

Abstract

Pencemaran logam berat Tembaga (Cu) di lingkungan perairan laut saat ini semakin meningkat. Logam berat ini memberikan dampak negatif bagi biota dalam perairan laut dengan menjadi penghambat pertumbuhan hingga menyebabkan kematian. Arang aktif dari ampas kopi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu bioadsorben yang efektif. Penelitian mengenai penggunaan ampas kopi sebagai bioadsorben telah banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan daya serap oleh arang aktif ampas kopi dengan lama perendaman dan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap logam berat Tembaga (Cu). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 3 Juni – 18 Juli 2018. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode eksperimental laboratoris. Aktivasi adsorben dilakukan menggunakan HCl 0,1 M selama 48 jam. Kemudian arang aktif dikeringkan pada suhu 1100C selama 3 jam untuk meningkatkan daya serapnya. Berdasarkan analisa Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS) yang telah dilakukan diperoleh daya serap arang aktif dengan konsentrasi 0,5 gr, 1 gr, dan 2 gr dengan masing-masing lama perendaman 15 menit, 30 menit, 60 menit, 90 menit, dan 120 menit berturut-turut adalah 99,28 %; 95,70 %; 98,79 %; 99,50%; 97,98 %; 95,39 %; 98,66 %; 99,46 %; 99,92 %; 97,04 %; 96,83 %; 98,57 %; 99,94 %; dan 99,96 % dengan kecepatan pengadukan 150 rpm. Konsentrasi adsorben dan lama perendaman yang berbeda terhadap larutan logam Cu diketahui berpengaruh nyata terhadap penyerapan logam berat Cu (p<0,05) oleh arang aktif. Terdapat penurunan daya adsorpsi arang aktif pada lama perendaman 30 menit kemudian tetap mengalami kenaikan daya adsorbsi terhadap logam Cu dengan semakin lama lama perendaman serta semakin tinggi konsentrasi adsorben yang digunakan. Pollution of heavy metals Copper (Cu) in the marine environment is currently increasing. This heavy metal has a negative impact on biota in marine waters by becoming a growth inhibitor that causes to death. Activated charcoal from coffee wastes can be used as an effective bio-adsorbent. Research on the use of coffee wastes as bio-adsorbent has been widely studied. This study aims to knowing the ability of activated charcoal from coffee wastes to absorb heavy metal of copper (Cu) using different immersion times and different concentrations of activated charcoal. The study was conducted on June 3 - July 18, 2018. The method used in this study was an experimental laboratory method. Activation of the adsorbent was carried out using 0.1 M HCl for 48 hours. Then the activated charcoal is dried at 1100C for 3 hours to improve the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent. Based on the analysis of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS), the absorption of activated charcoal has been obtained with concentrations of 0.5 gr, 1 gr, and 2 gr with contact time of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes are 99.28%; 95.70%; 98.79%; 99.50%; 97.98%; 95.39%; 98.66%; 99.46%; 99.92%; 97.04%; 96.83%; 98.57%; 99.94%; and 99.96% with a stirring speed of 150 rpm. The concentration of the adsorbent and the different immertion times for copper (Cu) solutions significantly affected the absorption of Cu heavy metals (p <0.05) by activated charcoal. There was a decrease in activated charcoal adsorption power at the immertion time of 30 minutes and continued to increase the adsorption power of Cu metal with the longer immertion time and the higher the concentration of the adsorbent used.

Abstract

Mangrove merupakan salah satu ekosistem pesisir yang mempunyai peranan penting di daerah estuari. Habitat mangrove sangat rawan terkena pencemaran logam berat, baik yang berasal dari laut maupun dari daerah darat. Rhizophora mucronata merupakan spesies mangrove yang hidup di daerah aliran sungai sebagai mayor dengan populasi terbanyak dan paling sering ditemukan, sedangkan Pb adalah salah satu polutan logam berat yang paling banyak dilepaskan oleh usaha industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat pengaruh pemberian logam berat Pb pada media lingkungan terhadap akumulasinya pada akar dan daun serta pertumbuhan anakan mangrove Rhizophora mucronata. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental selama 40 hari, dengan pemberian konsentrasi Pb 0,1; 1; 10; dan 100 ppm, ditanam di dalam  pot ember berukuran diameter 50 cm dan tinggi 30 cm, di dalam rumah kaca yang berukuran 5,5 x 2 x 1,5 m. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi Pb yang berbeda tidak setabil di akar maupun di daun, ini memperlihatkan bahwa konsentrasi perlakuan logam berat tidak dapat mencerminkan tingkat akumulasi logam berat pada Rhizophora mucronata. Hasil uji GLM (General Linear Model) dari pengolahan data spss pemberian Pb dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan anakan mangrove Rhizophora mucronata (p ≥ 0,05) selama 40 hari penelitian.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Kesenian batik saat ini telah berubah menjadi industri yang yang berkembang pesat.Produksi batik menghasilkan limbah cair yang bisa membahayakan lingkungan, salah satu adalah lipid.Kandungan lipid dalam limbah produksi batik diketahui berada dalam jumlah yang cukup besar.sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pengelolaan limbah lipid tersebut. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan kitosan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kitosan dalam menurunkan kadar lipid pada limbah produksi batik dan menentukan kadar kitosan paling efektif dari variasi konsentrasi yang digunakan.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga kali pengulangan dan taraf perlakuan berupa A (0,05%), B (0,5%) dan C (5%). Perlakuan yang dilakukan adalah dengan mereaksikan larutan kitosan dengan sampel air limbah selama 30 menit dengan menggunakan pengaduk maknetik. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji gravimetri untuk penentuan kadar lipid. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji anova dengan software  SPSS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap perlakuan mampu menurunkan kadar lipid pada limbah produksi batik. Variasi kitosan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadapkadar lipid dimana semakin besar konsentrasi kitosan yang digunakan maka kandungan lipid dalam limbah produksi batik semakin sedikit. Perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 5% merupakan perlakuan yang mampu menurunkan kadar kitosan paling baik yaitu pada kisaran 87.81% sampai 92.57%. Kitosan dengan konsentrasi 5% menurunakn kadar lipid dari 100,90 mg/L menjadi 7,50 mg/L. ABSTRACT : Batik art has turned into a rapidly growing industry. Batik production produce waste that could endanger an environment, one ingredient is lipid. Lipids are compounds that are not able to mix with water and difficult to degrade. Lipid content in the waste of batik production is known to be in large enough quantities. So it is necessary to process the waste management use chitosan. The aim of this study was to determine the ability of chitosan in decrease lipid levels in the waste of batik production and determine the most effective chitosan levels of the concentrations used.This study uses a completely randomized design with three replications and standard of treatment in the form of A (0.05%), B (0.5%) and C (5%). The treatment is carried out by reacting the chitosan solution with wastewater samples for 30 minutes using magnetic stirrer. Chitosan solution is obtained by mixing chitosan powder with a solution of acetic acid. Gravimetric method used to determine the lipid levels. The data analysis that used was anova test with SPSS software.The results showed that each treatment can decrease lipid levels in the waste of batik production. Variations chitosan significantly effect the lipid levels where the bigger concentration of chitosan has the less lipid levels in the waste of batik production. 5% chitosan was the most effective treatment in this study to decrease the lipid levels in the range between 87.81% to 92.57%. Chitosan concentration of 5% can decrease lipid from 100.90 mg / L to 7.50 mg / L.

areas. The high human activity can lead to environmental degradation and coral reef ecosystems. One of the reasons is the heavy metal pollution. This present study aims to investigate on the accumulation of heavy metal Pb on the coral, Acropora aspera. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Marine Science, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Diponegoro Semarang, Central Java. The method used is an experimental laboratory with coral A. aspera, using the heavy metal Pb with concentration 0.010 mg/l, and one control (0 mg/l). Coral, A. aspera was collected from Panjang Island. From this study it can be concluded that the coral A. aspera have capacities to accumulate heavy metals Pb. Accumulation of coral A. aspera significantly highest exposure of heavy metals Pb on day 10th.

Abstract

The condition of waters east of Semarang allegedly tainted by the many human activities such as 12th and December 11th in the waters of eastern pilula, Marcia hiantia, Placuna placenta, Paphia undulate, and Pharella javanic. The species with the highest abundance was Anadara granosa ( 301.1 Ind / ha (Station III)). Organic matter content was highest at station II, period 2, amounting to 22.56%, and lowest was at station V, period 3, amounting to 9.48%. The correlation between organic matter content of sediment with an abundance of bivalves in the waters of eastern Semarang overall resulted to receive Ho (no significant correlation).

Abstract

Anadara granosais one of bivalve species, which lives in the bottom of marine waters it has a long life cycle. This species is commonly used as bioindicator in the assessment of water quality. The variety of human activities, such as settlements, ports, industries, and fishing coastal areas cause a decrease in water quality which directly affect the presence and abudance of mussels in the waters.The aimed was research to determine the relationship between the heavy metal concentration of Cr (Chromium) and size class distribution of the blood mussels (A. granosa) at Eastern Semarang Coastal Waters.The research was conducted from March to April 2012 at 8 stations in Eastern Semarang coastal waters, Semarang Central Java. The method of the research was case study with descriptive data analysis. Sampling locations were determined by purposive sampling methode.The results showed that the lowest heavy metal concentrations of Cr (Chromium) were found at Station III and IV, in front of estuaries of Benger River. They were are 13,92 mg/l for Station III and 19,60 mg/l for Station IV. The highest number of A.granosa were also found at Station III and Station IV, which was 56 and 130. The distribution pattern of A. granosa at the research locations showed a clumped pattern, and the A.granosa most dominant size found in medium class (2-3Cm).

Abstract

Affix mastery is the ability of individuals to master prefixes, infixes, suffixes, confixes, and combinations of affixes. Child language mastery is related to the age aspect. This study aims to describe the mastery of Indonesian affixes based on age. This type of research is descriptive cross sectional with 30 junior high school / MTs students aged 12, 13, and 14 years as research subjects. Data collection techniques used were listening, field note, recording, and testing. The results of this study indicate there is an increase in mastery of Indonesian affixes by students aged 12, 13, and 14 years both in terms of type of affix, frequency, and value of affixes. Increased stable affix mastery based on age is found in prefixes and affix combinations. Based on this, it can be concluded that each age of the child increases, so does the level of mastery of the child's affixes.

Abstract

This research aims at describing overarticulator contoid [r] deaf children Indonesia. This research uses the qualitative descriptive method. Data researched is overartikulator contoid [r] deaf children. The source of data is the son of deaf SLB-B on kindergarten groups A deaf bit heavy. Data collection is done with the data source mimicked speech researcher and teacher or when pronouncing vocabulary list Containing contoid [r]. The collection of data using techniques of natural observation, observation, participation, of a scheduled Fishing fishing substitution, recording, record-keeping, and field. Data analysis using the method in accordance with the technique of determining element is broken. Based on data analysis, contoid [r] resulting in two groups of deaf children. The Union, contoid [r] generated anyway. [r], [«r«r], [arer], [rr], [l], [ll], [«l], [l«], and [et]. Second, contoid [r] produced change. In two of the group, contoid [r] created by [r], [ The results contain the differences distinguishing characteristic on the basis of the representation and the representation of contoid phonetic [r]. In the difference that happens overarticulator contoid [r] which does not occur on other contoids. From an overarticulator, it changes the sounds anaptiksis, reduplication, and contoid attenuation [r].
