Abstract

Academic burnout is the condition of a person who feels tired of the academic process and shows low achievement. Coping mechanisms are all efforts to resolve problems that are used as a defense to protect oneself. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of academic burnout on coping mechanisms among final students in Yogyakarta. The research subjects were final students aged 20-25 years in Yogyakarta with a total of 135 students, who were obtained using purposive sampling techniques. This research uses quantitative research methods with data management techniques using regression analysis. From the results of the product moment analysis, the correlation coefficient r = -0.601 with p = 0.000 is obtained, so there is a negative influence between the academic burnout variable and the coping mechanism variable in final students. This shows that the hypothesis in this research is accepted. This negative influence means that the higher the level of academic burnout experienced by students, the lower the ability of their coping mechanisms.

Abstract

Future anxiety is an emotional condition characterized by constant worry about the potential occurrence of negative events in the future. This condition is often accompanied by excessive thoughts related to uncertainty and a lack of control over what will happen. Final-year students tend to be vulnerable to future anxiety due to various pressures, such as academic burdens, career planning, and social demands. However, the aspect of hope, as a positive psychological element, can play an important role in helping them cope with these pressures. This study aims to examine the relationship between future anxiety and hope among final-year students in Yogyakarta. A total of 96 respondents, aged 20–25 years, were selected using purposive sampling. The research employed a quantitative approach, and the data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation through SPSS version 23. The results of the analysis indicate a significant relationship between future anxiety and hope, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.529 (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that the higher the hope students have, the higher the future anxiety they experience. Conversely, the lower the level of hope, the lower the future anxiety felt by final-year students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between hopelessness and loneliness with future anxiety in college students. The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 200 students from various universities and domiciled in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the level of hopelessness, loneliness, and future anxiety. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of hypothesis testing showed a significant positive relationship between hopelessness,  loneliness and future anxiety with a significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) indicates that future anxiety can be explained by the hopelessness  and loneliness variable by 46,2% explained by feelings about the future, loss of motivation, and imagining individuals in the future. This finding confirms that the more individuals experience hopelessness, the higher the future anxiety. This research is expected to provide insight into the relationship between hopelessness, loneliness and future anxiety in college students, as well as a reference for students in anticipating and dealing with their problems.

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in student consumption behavior from online shopping platforms. The method used was a quantitative approach with a comparative study design, the research sample consisted of 107 Yogyakarta students. Data was collected through a questionnaire that measures consumer behavior. Research data was analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) technique. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is no significant difference with a significance value of 0.229. So there is no significant difference in students' consumptive behavior when shopping on the two online shopping platforms tested. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the two platforms do not influence student consumption behavior differently. This research provides insight that students have consistent consumption patterns even though they shop on different platforms, and suggests developing marketing strategies that are based more on service quality and better user experience rather than platform differences themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Instagram social media usage on the lifestyle tendencies of postgraduate students of Makassar State University, Social Sciences Study Program in the digital era. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The research sample consisted of 45 students selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results show that Instagram usage has a significant effect on the lifestyle tendencies of students, indicated by a significance value <0.001 and a positive regression coefficient of 0.766. The R² value of 0.252 indicates that 25.2% of lifestyle pattern variations are explained by Instagram usage. This study concludes that the intensity of Instagram usage contributes to the lifestyle tendencies of students, so that strengthening digital literacy is needed to direct the use of social media more productively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas hubungan antara motivasi, minat, dan regulasi diri dalam belajar dengan mengintegrasikan perspektif psikologi pendidikan dan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam Islam. Motivasi merupakan faktor pendorong yang menggerakkan individu untuk melakukan aktivitas belajar, sedangkan minat belajar berperan dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan serta keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Regulasi diri atau self-regulated learning memungkinkan peserta didik mengelola proses belajar secara mandiri melalui perencanaan, pemantauan, serta evaluasi terhadap strategi belajar yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti buku psikologi pendidikan, artikel jurnal, serta sumber keislaman berupa ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa. Selain itu, kemampuan regulasi diri membantu siswa mengembangkan strategi belajar yang efektif dan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar. Dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam, konsep niat, keutamaan menuntut ilmu, serta nilai spiritualitas dapat menjadi sumber motivasi yang kuat dalam proses pembelajaran. Integrasi antara pendekatan psikologis, pedagogis, dan spiritual dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, berkelanjutan, dan mampu membentuk karakter peserta didik yang unggul secara intelektual maupun spiritual.

Abstract

The exemplary conduct of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students’ moral character has received attention in various previous studies, but studies that specifically discuss its implementation in the context of public schools and the dynamics of supporting and inhibiting factors remain limited. This study aimed to explore in depth the implementation of PAI teachers’ exemplary conduct in fostering students’ moral character at SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants consisted of PAI teachers, students, and school personnel selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAI teachers’ exemplary conduct was implemented in various dimensions, including worship, personal morality, communication, discipline, social interaction, and behavioral consistency, which had a positive impact on students’ moral development. However, several student moral problems were still found to be influenced by external factors, such as social media, as well as teachers’ limited time to provide intensive guidance. This finding contributes to the development of Islamic education theory and social learning by expanding understanding of exemplary conduct-based moral character development in the context of modern education. Thus, teachers’ exemplary conduct is a key factor in fostering students’ moral character, so schools need to strengthen religious culture and improve supervision of external influences that may affect students’ behavior.

Abstract

Social crimes at the village level require participatory and sustainable prevention approaches. This study aims to analyze the synergy between the Sidoarjo Police Resort through its BINMAS unit and the residents of Waruberong Village in implementing the “4D” anticipation framework (Corruption, Narcotics, Bullying, and Sexual Harassment). A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing data collection through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis of socialization activities and police-community forums. The results indicate that this partnership successfully shifts the security paradigm from a reactive enforcement model toward proactive collaboration grounded in education and early reporting. BINMAS functions effectively as an administrative liaison, coordinating Senkom Mitra Polri, village officials, and residents, thereby standardizing and streamlining report handling processes. The implementation of the 4D framework significantly enhances public legal literacy, strengthens trust in the DUMAS Presisi system, and encourages active community participation in security patrols and awareness campaigns. Although minor administrative challenges, such as limited reporting literacy and fluctuating attendance, were identified, they can be mitigated through structured mentoring. Overall, the 4D-based partnership model proves highly relevant for strengthening participatory security ecosystems at the village level. This study recommends standardizing educational modules, providing continuous administrative training for Senkom members, and integrating digital reporting platforms to ensure the program's long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Upaya penelitian ini secara kritis meneliti kemanjuran pemanfaatan bio-oil yang berasal dari pirolisis sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yang layak dalam genset mesin diesel yang digunakan di fasilitas pembangkit listrik. Menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik yang didasarkan pada data dari Scopus dan kerangka analisis yang memanfaatkan VOSViewer 1.6.20, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang lintasan penelitian yang berlaku, upaya kolaboratif di antara penulis, dan cluster tematik yang signifikan di lapangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penyelidikan mengenai pirolisis bio-minyak terutama berkonsentrasi pada kemajuan katalis, penilaian sifat termal, efisiensi teknologi, dan penerapan kecerdasan buatan dalam proses pemodelan. Dari perspektif teknis, bio-oil mengungkapkan kinerja mesin yang konsisten dengan kapasitas untuk mengurangi emisi gas buang, meskipun ditandai dengan tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan diesel tradisional. Hasil ini memperkuat potensi pirolisis bio-oil sebagai sumber energi terbarukan yang mahir dan berkelanjutan secara ekologis

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era globalisasi sudah semakin pesat seiring dengan kebutuhan masyarakat akan layanan yang memanfaatkan jaringan  komputer, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan. Jaringan komputer sendiri adalah alat yang menghubungkan antara 2 komputer atau lebih yang terhubung dengan media transmisi kabel atau tanpa kabel (wireless). Sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki visi untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan berkualitas, tidak dapat lepas dari pemanfaatan teknologi jaringan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dan administrasi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan  merancang  jaringan komputer  yang efisien di SMAIT AL-USWAH Surabaya dengan memanfaatkan metode Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM) guna mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan alamat IP. Melibatkan prosedur PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize), penelitian ini akan menunjukkan analisis dan perancangan desain jaringan menggunakan alat simulasi Cisco Packet Tracer.Kata Kunci: Desain Jaringan Komputer, VLSM, PPDIOO, Cisco Packet Tracer
