Abstract

Improving employee performance in the public sector requires not only formal task completion but also voluntary behaviors that support organizational effectiveness. One important form of such behavior is Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), which reflects employees’ willingness to contribute beyond their formal responsibilities. This study aims to examine the influence of intrinsic motivation and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior among employees of the XYZ City Regional Secretariat. The research adopts a quantitative associative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 employees selected using proportionate stratified random sampling from a population of 171 employees. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques with the assistance of SPSS software, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing through t-test and F-test. The results indicate that intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, suggesting that employees with strong internal motivation are more likely to demonstrate voluntary behaviors that support organizational performance. Organizational culture also shows a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, indicating that a supportive and value-driven work environment encourages employees to engage in cooperative and pro-social behaviors. Furthermore, intrinsic motivation and organizational culture simultaneously have a significant influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, demonstrating that the combination of strong personal motivation and a positive organizational environment plays an important role in enhancing extra-role behavior among employees. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening both intrinsic motivation and organizational culture to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness in the public sector.

Abstract

The development of digital payment systems has driven the increasing use of electronic money (e-money) in Indonesia. However, the level of adoption and sustainability of its use are greatly influenced by user experience. This study aims to analyze the influence of user experience on the intention to use e-money through a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 e-money users. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha reliability tests, and simple linear regression. The results showed that the user experience and intention to use instruments had very good reliability with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.879 and 0.886, respectively. Regression analysis showed that user experience had a positive and significant effect on the intention to use e-money (β = 1.399; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.684. These findings indicate that user experience is an important factor in explaining variations in the intention to use e-money. Aspects of ease of use, convenience, and user satisfaction have been shown to play a role in increasing the adoption and sustainability of e-money use. The research results are expected to be a reference for application developers and stakeholders in improving the quality of e-money services.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas dakwah kultural Sunan Kalijaga sebagai model integrasi antara tasawuf dan budaya Jawa dalam proses Islamisasi di Pulau Jawa. Masalah utama yang dikaji adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam disampaikan melalui media budaya lokal tanpa menghilangkan identitas masyarakat Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka melalui penelusuran literatur tentang Sunan Kalijaga, Walisongo, Islam Jawa, dakwah kultural, tasawuf, wayang, tembang, dan tradisi lokal. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis untuk melihat hubungan antara ajaran Islam, simbol budaya, dan transformasi spiritual masyarakat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah Sunan Kalijaga tidak hanya bersifat kultural, tetapi juga sufistik karena menekankan pembinaan akhlak, penyucian batin, toleransi, kebijaksanaan, dan harmoni sosial. Media budaya seperti wayang, tembang Lir-ilir, gamelan, Sekaten, serta prinsip momong, momor, dan momot menjadi sarana efektif dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa dakwah sufistik-kultural Sunan Kalijaga tetap relevan sebagai model dakwah Islam yang moderat, humanis, dan kontekstual pada masa kini.

Abstract

Technological advances sharpen competition in the beauty industry and force companies to always innovate to remain competitive. This research aims to analyze digital marketing and brand image on purchasing intentions for Wardah Beauty products. This research uses a survey research model. The research results show that digital marketing and brand image have a significant effect on purchasing intentions. This research also proves that digital-based marketing activities through social media are very effective. This research only focuses on two variables, namely digital marketing and brand image.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media Teks Berjalan terhadap hasil, aktivitas belajar, juga proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks berita soft news. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-posttest. Hasil temuan menunjukan terdapat peningkatan pada hasil belajar peserta didik, sebelum menggunakan media teks berjalan nilai tes awal (pre-test) peserta didik rata-rata sebesar 72,36 sedangkan perolehan nilai tes akhir (post-test) rata-rata sebesar 82,36. Kemudian selain hasil tes juga terdapat peningkatan pada proses pembelajaran setelah menggunakan media teks berjalan, pada awalnya pembelajaran terasa monoton, tidak komunikatif dan sedikit membosankan, namun setelah menggunakan media teks berjalan pembelajaran menjadi variatif, komunikasi terjalin dengan baik, dan motivasi peserta didik meningkat. Aktivitas belajar juga mengalami perubahan dari yang tadinya pasif menjadi lebih aktif, peserta didik yang mengantuk, tidak berani berpendapat dan yang diam saja menjadi lebih aktif dalam berdiskusi, berkomunikasi dan menyampaikanp pendapatnya di depan kelas. Kata Kunci: kemampuan membaca; teks berita; teks berjalan ABSTRACT This article describes the effect of using the Running Text media on the learning outcomes, activities, and learning process of reading comprehension skills for soft news texts. This study used an experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The findings showed an improvement in student learning outcomes. Before using the Running Text media, students' average pre-test score was 72.36, while their average post-test score was 82.36. Furthermore, in addition to test results, there was also an improvement in the learning process after using the Running Text media. Initially, learning felt monotonous, uncommunicative, and somewhat boring. However, after using the Running Text media, learning became varied, communication was well-established, and student motivation increased. Learning activities also changed from passive to more active. Students who were sleepy, reluctant to express their opinions, and silent became more active in discussions, communication, and expressing their opinions in front of the class. Abstract

Village treasury land is a village asset with great potential, good and appropriate management is a step that must be implemented considering that village treasury land is a large asset for village income compared to other village assets. From the description above, Seling Village, Tabir District, has a large area of ​​village land which should get maximum results, but in reality the income from this village land is not optimal. The aim of this research is to find out the village government's strategy in managing TKD (Village Cash Land) rice fields in Seling Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, and to find out the obstacles faced by the village government in managing TKD (Village Cash Land) rice fields in Seling Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is a descriptive study. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is a descriptive study. The informant selection technique used by researchers in this research was the purposive sampling method (a technique for determining samples with certain considerations). The results of this research show that the village government's strategy in managing TKD rice fields (Village Cash Land) in Seling Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency is: Optimizing income, optimizing land use, and submitting irrigation improvements to the Regional Government. The obstacles faced by the village government in managing TKD rice fields (Village Cash Land) in Seling Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency are: The lack of agricultural infrastructure and the lack of formation of BUMDes.

Abstract

Instagram adalah salah satu bentuk media yang sangat disukai di Indonesia, dan Ditjen Dikti menjadikan akun Instagram @Magangmerdeka sebagai sumber informasi untuk memenuhi permintaan mahasiswa akan informasi tentang MSIB, program dengan jumlah pendukung terbanyak tetapi sedikit informasi yang dapat dipercaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh mahasiswa yang mengikuti akun Instagram @Magangmerdeka dalam memenuhi tuntutan informasi MSIB. Teori Uses and Gratification menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Metodologi kuantitatif penjelasan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengguna Instagram yang mengikuti akun @Magangmerdeka menjadi populasi penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 100 sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis uji statistik inferensial, termasuk korelasi, regresi, koefisien determinasi, dan pengujian hipotesis, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan media sosial secara signifikan mempengaruhi pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi, dan ada hubungan yang kuat antara variabel tersebut.

Abstract

Arrogance (takabbur) constitutes a fundamental moral deviation in Islamic ethics that undermines individual spirituality and social harmony. This study aims to interpret the Qur’anic prohibition of arrogance, particularly in Surah Luqman verse 18, through the tafsīr maqāṣidī framework developed by Wasfi ‘Asyur Abu Zayd. Employing qualitative library research, the study drew primary data from the Qur’an and Abu Zayd’s Naḥwa al-Tafsīr al-Maqāṣidī li al-Qur’ān al-Karīm, supplemented by classical and contemporary exegetical literature. The data were analyzed through textual examination, inductive reasoning, maqāṣid formulation, and interpretive verification. The findings reveal that the prohibition of arrogance encompasses linguistic, conceptual, and ethical dimensions, manifested through self-aggrandizement, contempt for others, and rejection of truth, and driven by pride in knowledge, lineage, wealth, or social status. The maqāṣid khāṣṣah of Surah Luqman verse 18 is identified as ḥifẓ al-karāmah al-insāniyyah, or the protection of human dignity, which is actualized through the cultivation of tawāḍu‘ and the establishment of egalitarian social relations. This objective extends beyond individual moral reform by providing a normative foundation for rejecting status-based humiliation and image-driven superiority. Verification through classical and contemporary exegetical perspectives further demonstrates that the verse functions as an ethical framework for realizing relational justice in both conventional and digital social contexts, including responses to social climbing (pansos) and narcissistic self-presentation. By grounding human worth in piety rather than worldly distinctions, this study contributes a Qur’anic ethical framework for fostering humility, mutual respect, human dignity, and harmonious coexistence within diverse societies.

Abstract

Although Qur’anic social ethics has been widely discussed, systematic contextualization of the ethical principles embedded in Qs. al-Hujurat verses 10–13 through Fazlur Rahman’s double movement theory remains limited. This study aims to identify the moral principles of social ethics contained in these verses and contextualize them within contemporary social life. Employing qualitative library research and contextual hermeneutics, the study analyzed the Qur’anic text, relevant commentaries, Fazlur Rahman’s writings, and related scholarly literature. Data were collected through systematic documentation, source selection, critical reading, thematic classification, and comparative interpretation. The first movement reconstructed the micro- and macro-historical contexts of revelation to identify the underlying moral concerns and formulate universal ethical principles, while the second movement applied these principles to contemporary challenges, including interpersonal conflict, derogatory speech, prejudice, privacy violations, discrimination, misinformation, and disrespect in educational and digital environments. The findings demonstrate that Qs. al-Hujurat verses 10–13 establish an integrated framework of social ethics grounded in brotherhood, reconciliation, human dignity, responsible communication, protection of honor, peaceful conflict resolution, and recognition of diversity. The verses prohibit mockery, insulting labels, negative suspicion, fault-finding, surveillance, and backbiting while grounding human dignity in piety rather than ethnicity, social status, or group identity. Their contextualization further provides practical ethical guidance for verifying information, protecting privacy, communicating respectfully, rejecting identity-based superiority, and cultivating humility and mutual respect among students, teachers, families, and wider communities. This study concludes that Qur’anic social ethics should extend beyond normative discourse into educational practice and digital citizenship. It contributes a contextual framework for translating Qur’anic moral principles into inclusive, peaceful, and ethically responsible social relations across contemporary educational and societal contexts.

Abstract

The principle of munāsabah is central to understanding the structural relationships, continuity of meaning, and textual coherence of the Qur’an. This study analyzed the methodological construction and application of munāsabah in M. Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir Al-Misbah, focusing on textual and thematic analyses of Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Āli ‘Imrān. A qualitative descriptive library-research design was employed, integrating thematic exegesis (mawḍūʿī), qualitative content analysis, and a hermeneutical–exegetical perspective. The findings indicate that Quraish Shihab positions munāsabah as a fundamental hermeneutical instrument for demonstrating the organic unity of the Qur’anic text (waḥdah al-Qurʾāniyyah). Two principal typologies were identified: five models of correspondence between verses and eight models of correspondence between surahs. The verse-level models encompass relationships among verses within a surah, between verses and their conclusions, among sentences, among words, and between the opening and closing verses of a surah. The surah-level models include relationships between adjacent surahs, between the opening and conclusion of a surah, between a surah’s name and its central theme, between one surah’s conclusion and the next surah’s opening, and between fawātiḥ al-suwar and the surah’s substantive content. The analysis further demonstrates consistent thematic integration between Al-Baqarah, as a foundation of sharia and faith, and Āli ‘Imrān, as a reinforcement of monotheistic argumentation and steadfastness amid social contestation. By combining the taḥlīlī method with an adabī al-ijtimāʿī orientation, Quraish Shihab connects classical linguistic analysis with contemporary social concerns. This approach contributes to Qur’anic coherence studies by offering a systematic alternative to atomistic interpretation and presenting revelation as an integrated, contextually relevant, and solution-oriented discourse.
