Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current state of the rambak cracker processing industry, identify priority indicators for development, and formulate strategies to enhance the industry’s competitiveness and sustainability in Penanggulan Village, Pegandon Subdistrict, Kendal Regency. The study employed a qualitative approach enriched with quantitative analysis using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and paired-comparison questionnaires administered to five key informants selected through purposive sampling, and were subsequently analyzed using Super Decisions software. The results indicate that the top priority for industrial development is government support and capital (0.295), followed by marketing and digitalization (0.269), production (0.221), and human resources (0.215). At the subcriteria level, access to financing or working capital received the highest weight (0.159), followed by the technical skills of the workforce (0.116), the use of digital media (0.107), market reach (0.100), and production process efficiency (0.099).

Abstract

Abstract The junior high school level has a strategic position in the implementation of ESD. Students at this level of education are in the early phase of adolescence and begin to develop. The existing literature demonstrates that ESD implementation in junior high schools is influenced by multiple interconnected factors, which are often examined in isolation. This study aims to identify patterns of ESD integration, map the dimensions that facilitate its implementation, and develop a conceptual model of ESD-based curriculum management for junior high schools. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review following the PRISMA 2020 framework. The literature was obtained from Scopus and Google Scholar, then selected based on inclusion-exclusion criteria, yielding 31 articles that were analyzed thematically. The results of the study show five patterns of ESD integration, four facilitating dimensions, and a final synthesis that forms an integrative model connecting curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, continuous improvement, learning outcomes, and enabling factors. This study found that ESD integration at the junior high school level does not follow a linear process (content is included–teacher teaches–students understand). Future studies should refine the systematic review protocol by implementing more specific and comprehensive search strategies, while maintaining transparent and rigorous eligibility criteria.

Abstract

The limited product diversification of the Indonesian coal mining industry underscores the imperative for the formulation of strategic business plans to navigate the intensifying market competition. This study aims to examine the market structure, the factors influencing sales, and the impact of market structure on the sales performance of coal mining companies in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative method and utilizes a range of analytical techniques, including CR4, HHI, MES, CLR, PCM, and multiple linear regression. The CR4 and HHI analysis revealed that the market structure of coal mining companies in Indonesia is classified as a highly concentrated tight oligopoly. The MES analysis yielded the conclusion that new companies in the sector face significant barriers to market entry. The findings of the CLR analysis, which indicates that the coal mining sector is a capital-intensive industry, suggest that equity and capital factors are the primary contributors to the challenges faced by new companies attempting to enter the market. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that equity factors and production volume have a positive and significant effect on company sales. This finding is corroborated by the PCM analysis, which suggests that companies with low market share tend to set higher margins to obtain greater profits. Increasing investment levels may serve as a viable business strategy, particularly when supported by government policies aimed at fostering a secure and stable investment environment to enhance company equity and capital.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of interdisciplinary learning factory models on the development of students innovation skills in higher education environments that integrate academic learning with industrial practices. The increasing demand for graduates with strong innovative competencies highlights the need for interdisciplinary learning approaches that effectively bridge theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial applications within learning factory settings. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the influence of interdisciplinary learning factory models on key dimensions of innovation skills, including creative thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking abilities. A quantitative research design was employed using structured survey instruments administered to students participating in interdisciplinary learning factory programs, and the data were analyzed through statistical techniques, including descriptive analysis, reliability and validity testing, and inferential statistical methods to examine the relationships between variables. The findings indicate a significant and positive effect of interdisciplinary learning factory models on students innovation skills, demonstrating that integrated and collaborative learning environments effectively foster innovative competencies and enhance learning outcomes. These results suggest that interdisciplinary learning factory models represent a powerful educational strategy for strengthening innovation-oriented skills in higher education, offering theoretical contributions to learning factory research and practical implications for educational institutions in designing interdisciplinary learning frameworks that support sustainable innovation and alignment with industry needs.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the largest and fastest growing sectors in the world that can boost the economy, create new jobs and reduce poverty. The provinces of DI Yogyakarta and Central Java have the highest percentage of poor people in Java and are provinces with leading tourism sectors that can compete at the world level. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the tourism sector on the number of poor people through GRDP as an intervening variable in 2012-2022. This research is a type of quantitative research with the Path Analysis research method. The results showed that: (1) The number of tourist attractions has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta.  (2) The number of hotel rooms has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in Central Java and Yogyakarta.  (3) GRDP has a negative and significant effect on the number of poor people in Central Java and Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Commodity price movements have a significant impact on regional economic stability, especially in terms of inflation. In Central Java Province, fluctuations in the prices of rice, shallots, curly red chilies, red cayenne peppers, and cooking oil are the main causes of inflation. This phenomenon requires a more in-depth examination of the relationship between price fluctuations and inflation. This means that studies at the regional level are still limited. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of commodity price changes on inflation in Central Java. The data used is from 2021 to 2025 using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) - Error Correction Model (ECM) method. The data used is monthly secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the National Food Agency. The estimation results show that in the short term, the variables of curly red chili price, previous period curly red chili price, previous period rice price, and previous period cooking oil price have a significant effect on inflation, while in the long term, curly red chili price has a positive effect and rice price has a negative effect on inflation in Central Java. The CointEq(-1) coefficient, which has a value of -0.106705 and is significant, indicates the existence of a correction mechanism towards long-term equilibrium. This value suggests that around 10.67% of the deviation of inflation from its equilibrium in the previous period is adjusted or corrected during the current period.
