Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar digulirkan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan sebagai wujud transformasi pengelolaan pendidikan yang menempatkan well-being peserta didik sebagai orientasi utama dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang mampu mewujudkan well-being bagi peserta didik. Sebagai seorang supervisor, Kepala Sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik. Pengembangan instrumen supervisi akademik yang mengarah pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi salah satu upaya penting yang dapat mewujudkan well-being peserta didik sekaligus mendukung Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar. Analisis situasi di Kabupaten Nganjuk menghasilkan informasi: (1) pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum diketahui secara detail oleh guru, (2) instrumen supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum dikembangkan oleh kepala sekolah. Sehingga tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengembangkan instrumen supervisi dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode pelatihan yaitu melalui pendekatan ekspositori, pembimbingan, penugasan dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) yang diikuti 54 Kepala Sekolah yang tergabung dalam MKKS.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pro-test terhadap pre-test yaitu sebesar 20%. Selain itu penugasan terhadap kepala sekolah menjadi sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyusun instrumen supervisi akademik dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi

Abstract

Exploration of Supporting Factors for Achieving Academic Achievement in Doctoral Programs in Higher Education. The demands of change with the dynamics of global issues, one of which is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), embody the role of Higher Education in producing competitive Human Resources. In-depth identification of academic supporting factors that influence the achievement of PLO (Program Learning Outcomes) needs to be done to determine strategic efforts in organizing education in the realm of study programs to produce competent and reliable graduates, especially for the doctoral program in Educational Management. Objectives: This study aims to explore academic supporting factors in the Doctoral Program in Educational Management at Surabaya State University (UNESA) to produce a description of academic support with the dynamics of the factors that influence it. Methods: This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) with Jamovi Application to identify the underlying structure of a set of academic supporting variables, both from students as individuals and institutional factors. The data in this study were collected using a questionnaire instrument distributed to 75 students. Findings: The research results show that 3 factors are academic support factors in the UNESA Educational Management Doctoral Study Program, namely (1) Support System and Social Environment, (2) Learning Motivation, (3) Self-regulation. Conclusion: from the results it is interpreted that the realization of Doctoral Program students in Educational Management who can fulfil their lecture assignments and complete their studies on time is influenced by factors originating from external (support system and social environment) and internal factors (learning motivation and self-regulation). Keywords: academic, supporting factor, higher education.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024111

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the strategies carried out by school principals to realize the Vocational High School Centre of Excellence (SMK PK). This research is a multi-site case study with a qualitative approach. Deep interviews, observation, and documentation techniques are used in this research to collect the data, and two data analysis techniques are single and cross-case data analysis. The research results show that the strategies used by school principals in realizing Vocational High Schools Centre of Excellence (SMK PK) include the following: 1) Facilitative Strategy such as availability of good educational facilities and infrastructure; Guest teacher of the World Business and Industrial; and the equipment is updated to suit world trends Business and Industrial needed, 2) Educational Strategy (re-educative strategy)such as upskilling and reskilling for Vocational High School teachers and internship program for productive teacher, 3) Persuasive Strategy such as collaboration between school principals and companion Collage in persuading the business world and industrial world;  Head of Special Job Fair (BKK) in conducting negotiations in recruiting employees from vocational school graduates, 4) Strength Strategies such as school principal policies and MOU of school and the Business World and Industrial Word(DU/DI).

Abstract

This article discusses the role of school principals and foundations in developing Islamic educational institutions, focusing on the quality of education and leadership. This study aims to provide an overview of the role that must be performed by school principals and foundations in developing Islamic educational institutions. A literature study is used to present the picture. The results showed that the principal must have managerial abilities, while the foundation plays a role in setting policies and motivating the team. The implication of this research is the importance of adequate understanding, experience, and knowledge for school principals and foundation chairmen in developing Islamic educational institutions

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the practice of inclusive education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL). This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Information sources were gathered from teachers, parents, and the school principal through semi-structured interviews. Observations were conducted using a non-participatory method, where the researcher acted as an observer of the implementation of inclusive education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur, encompassing the diversity of student practices. Documentation was collected from data on student diversity, supporting facilities for inclusive learning activities, and records of inclusive education evaluation results. Data analysis techniques employed triangulation, involving data collection, data reduction, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that inclusive education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur is implemented through various strategies that support student diversity, including differentiated learning, multicultural classrooms, and innovative learning technologies. The positive impacts of inclusive education include students’ social development and increased student participation. This study recommends strengthening collaboration with external parties, enhancing teacher training, and developing policies that support the sustainability of inclusive education at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Program Afirmasi Pendidikan Tinggi (ADik) bagi Anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Sekolah Indonesia Kota Kinabalu (SIKK), Sabah, Malaysia. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan pendidikan tinggi kepada anak-anak PMI yang memiliki keterbatasan akses ke pendidikan berkualitas di luar negeri. Penelitian ini merupakan implementasi dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) guna memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang implementasi dan hasil yang dicapai. Pada penelitian ini, teori implementasi, teori manajemen dan model CIPP menekankan pentingnya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang inklusif dan berkualitas. Kemudian teori yang membangun affirmative action, teori self-management dan teori parenting dapat menekankan pentingnya peran dari pemerintah, peserta didik dan orang tua. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi multi-kasus pada jenjang SMA dan SMK di SIKK. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen terkait dengan implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari perspektif konteks, program ini sangat dibutuhkan mengingat tingginya jumlah PMI di Malaysia dan kebutuhan untuk menyediakan pendidikan yang setara dengan yang ada di Indonesia. Namun, dari sisi input, program ini masih menghadapi masalah dalam anggaran dan pendanaan serta kurangnya fasilitas pendukung di SIKK. Proses implementasi program berjalan dengan baik, namun kendala dalam hal legalitas dokumen, peran peserta didik dan peran orang tua. Dari sisi produk, meskipun sebagian besar peserta program berhasil melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, beberapa peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan akademik di Indonesia karena kurangnya persiapan awal. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Program ADik telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan akses pendidikan tinggi  bagi anak-anak PMI, tetapi masih terdapat beberapa area yang perlu diperbaiki

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect teacher recruitment in schools. This research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. In the future, small and medium-sized companies face the challenge of retaining their best human resources to keep working for the company. Aligning individual values with work, organisation, and group is the best way to achieve goals through creative changes in employee behaviour. They found that misinterpretations of cultural roles, stigma, fear and prejudice, low status of educators in the preschool sector, and lack of male recruitment policies influenced male recruitment into the preschool sector. This study concludes that the factors that affect teacher recruitment in schools are education, experience, gender, salary, facilities, working conditions, job satisfaction, career advancement opportunities, location (urban and rural), people organisation, personal motivation, organisational practices, compatibility between personal characteristics and job needs, values, social cognitive career, self-decision, career construction, living space, commitment, teacher competence, social cognitive, sustainable professional development. The recruitment stages at the school are committee formation, socialisation, registration, and selection process, which includes written exams, interviews, and microteaching. After the selection process is complete, qualified teachers are announced. Hiring can run smoothly if supported by facilities, team collaboration, and human resources.

Abstract

The title of this research is the principal's strategy in optimizing the learning community for the development of teacher pedagogical competence in kindergarten. There are two research objects, namely the principal's strategy and the pedagogical competence of teachers in kindergarten. The aim of this research is to describe the principal's strategy in optimizing the learning community to develop teacher pedagogical competence in kindergarten. The type of research is qualitative descriptive research which uses interviews, observation and documentation to collect data. Respondents involved school administrators, principals, teachers and education staff at the two schools. The research results show that the strategies used by school principals in developing teacher pedagogical competence include: forming small teams, setting routine schedules, implementing collaboration, and creating an environment that supports sustainable learning. This strategy has proven to be effective in developing teacher competence in designing, implementing and evaluating learning. However, this strategy is not without obstacles, among the obstacles faced are related to time, facilities, and the school community's resistance to change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia antara dua lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini di Magetan, yaitu TKIT Al Uswah Magetan dan TKN Unggulan Magetan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi multi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TKIT Al Uswah Magetan menonjol dengan prosedur rekrutmen dan seleksi yang ketat, program pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, kompensasi yang kompetitif, serta sistem evaluasi kinerja yang formal. Sementara itu, TKN Unggulan Magetan menghadapi keterbatasan dalam anggaran dan akses ke sumber daya pendidikan, yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan program pelatihan dan pengembangan. Kurangnya kompensasi yang memadai dan evaluasi kinerja yang kurang formal menjadi tantangan dalam mempertahankan kualitas SDM di TKN Unggulan Magetan. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan profesionalisme manajemen SDM, alokasi anggaran yang memadai, dan pelaksanaan program pelatihan yang berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk mencapai efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan anak usia dini di lembaga PAUD.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat adanya pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru Sub Rayon satu Magetan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru di sub rayon dengan jumlah seratus delapan belas orang. Penentuan teknik sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan menetapkan pertimbangan atau kriteria tertentu oleh sampel yang digunakan. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk kuesioner dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan analisis regresi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkkan bahawa ada pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian, diharapkan memperhatikan kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi masing-masing guru.
