Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyse the implementation of walkthrough supervision as a collaborative supervision strategy in improving the quality of learning practices at junior and senior high school levels. Method: This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a multi-case study design. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with principals, teachers and supervisors, and analysis of supervision documents. The analysis process was conducted thematically to identify implementation patterns, challenges, and improvement strategies that emerged from the practice of walkthrough supervision in improving the quality of learning practices at the junior and senior high school levels at Yayasan Nurul Fikri Bina Generasi Bogor.  Results:  The results showed that walkthrough supervision in junior and senior high school of NFBS Bogor is implemented systematically through five stages by emphasising learning authenticity, continuous reflection, and teacher-supervisor collaboration. Obstacles such as time constraints, competency variations, supervisor inconsistency, and cultural factors are overcome through adaptive strategies, so that challenges actually strengthen collaboration. This supervision has an impact on improving teaching skills, classroom management, student engagement, as well as fostering a continuous reflective culture. This model has the potential to be adapted in other schools with adjustments to the vision, culture, teacher competencies and structural support.  Novelty: The innovation of this research lies in the transformation of walkthrough supervision into a collective reflective culture, the collaborative role of teachers-supervisors, and adaptive strategies to face obstacles. This model not only improves teacher competence and classroom culture, but also has the potential to be replicated with adjustments to the school context.

Abstract

The principal is the most important role in advancing an educational institution. Visionary leadership patterns such as the two institutions in Sumenep district are one of the benchmarks for the development and progress of the world of education in this era. The involvement of female school principals signals the demise of the perception in society that gender issues are no longer relevant. With a qualitative approach, this article highlights the reality of women's leadership in Sumenep district in carrying out leadership duties and is able to create a more lively leadership atmosphere in educational institutions. The findings from this research are that the leadership of a number of female school principals in Sumenep district was able to improve the quality of education

Abstract

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to the advantage of clinical supervision in improving the quality of teacher performance, especially in the learning and teaching process. Method: This research carried out a systematic literature review method with a qualitative approach, allowing for the collection of data and evaluation of information from various literature sources. Results: Findings of this research according to many sources that clinical supervision can improve the quality of teacher performance.  Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its method, namely a qualitative literature review that specifically discusses Clinical Supervision.

Abstract

Schools compete for students every new school year. Through typical school branding, they offer the advantages of the programs they have. Marketing of school programs can make the community will know about school branding, The method in this study uses a qualitative research approach. Researchers chose SMPN 1 Magetan and SMPN 4 Magetan because these two schools are favorid schools and are superior schools with various educational programs run such as the large number of extra-curriculars that can be followed by students for the development of talents and interests. Marketing of the bilingual program at SMPN 1 Magetan uses several methods, namely Word of Mouth Marketing (WoMM) by maximizing the student guardian association and Digital marketing by utilizing resources through mass media such as Facebook, WhatsApp group association. SMPN 4 Magetan conducts marketing with WoMM or word of mouth utilizing the class committee, which every PPDB is collected for the socialization of tahfidz class. SMPN 4 Magetan has SPATMA TV so that it can be used for socialization with the outside community. In addition, it also holds promotions through PAI performances.

Abstract

Teacher competency is the teacher's ability to direct the student learning process in the classroom. Teachers have an important role for students both in the classroom and outside the classroom, therefore teacher competence in teaching is very important. Competence is behavior that is reasonable in order to achieve goals that were previously adjusted due to existing conditions so that competence can be interpreted as a skill and ability. Teachers have an important role to guide students in the learning process. The teacher's ability to design effective learning strategies, understand students' individual needs, and present material in an interesting way can influence students' motivation to learn. In participating in the learning process, each student's motivation is different, some are high and some are low, in this case the teacher must influence student motivation externally to form students' internal motivation. The aim of this research is to analyze teacher competence to increase student learning motivation. The method used is a literature study which focuses on research on teacher competency to increase student learning motivation. The results of the literature review regarding teacher competence to improve student learning can be achieved by increasing the existing competence of each teacher so that this goal is achieved optimally

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the social competence of principals to encourage the strengthening of kindergarten organizational capacity. The method used is GROW- Goal, Reality, Options, and Will-based coaching approach.  Data sources consisted of 22 school principals in Driyorejo district who were accompanied by coaches from the field of education management with expertise in transformational leadership and educational organizations. The material presented in this training focuses on three areas with topics: 1) Educational organization: School as a learning organization, (2) Transformational leadership in the VUCA era. Evaluation conducted by developing a questionnaire to measure transformational leadership aspects, using a 5-point Likert scale. The instrument included key dimensions such as idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage) to understand respondents’ perceptions of transformational leadership. As a result of analyzing the instruments administered to the participants, most of the high scores on the instructional leadership indicators indicate that principals in Driyorejo kindergartens have successfully performed their role as transformational leaders. However, challenges remain, especially in improving parental involvement.

Abstract

Manajemen strategik merupakan serangkaian tindakan manajerial yang dihasilkan dari proses formulasi dan implementasi rencana dengan tujuan untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Melalui manajemen strategik kepala sekolah merumuskan dan menentukan strategik yang tepat sehingga sekolah tidak hanya mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya, akan tetapi tangguh melakukan penyesuaian dan perubahan yang diperlukan sehingga semakin meningkat efektivitas dan produktivitasnya. Penulisan artikel bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan formulasi strategik, implementasi dan evaluasi manajemen strategik dalam pengelolaan sekolah di MI Tri Shakti Surabaya. Artikel ilmiah ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan langkah kondensasi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: Formulasi strategik di MI Tri Shakti Surabaya dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu merumuskan visi dan misi dengan mempertimbangkan lingkungan internal dan ekstemal, dilanjutkan dengan penetapan tujuan strategis dan target dan  dilanjutkan dengan penentuan strategi;                                Implementasi manajemen strategik di MI Tri Shakti Surabaya dilakukan dengan menjabarkan strategi-strategi yang telah dirumuskan dalam bentuk kegiatan- kegiatan. Teknis pelaksanaannya diserahkan kepada koordinator kegiatan dengan tetap berkoordinasi dengan kepala sekolah. Sistem pengawasan dilakukan dengan menerapkan komunikasi intensif serta pengontrolan rutin kepada koordinator kegiatan; Evaluasi manajemen strategik di MI Tri Shakti Surabaya dilakukan melaui rapat informal maupun formal. Rapat formal dilakukan secara rutin baik di tingkat                   internal bidang maupun secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aimed to know and analyze the implementation of curriculum management based on management functions: curriculum planning, curriculum organization, curriculum implementation, curriculum monitoring and evaluation, and curriculum development in the non-academic featured programs at SDIT Firdaus Mojosari. This research used qualitative research with a case study research design. This study's data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. In the data analysis technique, the researcher used condensation, data presentation, and concluding. Meanwhile, for the data validation, the researcher used the credibility of the standard of the correctness of the data and the triangulation technique. The results of the Curriculum Management research on this non-academic featured program revealed the following findings: 1) Curriculum planning for non-academic featured programs at SDIT Firdaus is prepared by involving a curriculum development team consisting of the principal, vice-principal of the curriculum, featured program coordinator, and teachers. The steps taken are analyzing the context and needs also identifying national education standards; 2) Organizing the curriculum in the featured program class by empowering the vice principal of the curriculum and the coordinator of the featured program to schedule and distribute tasks; 3) The implementation of the curriculum in the featured program class is carried out based on a predetermined schedule for the implementation of the curriculum in the featured program class; 4) Supervision and evaluation of the curriculum in the featured program class are carried out by the principal assisted by the vice-principal of the curriculum and the coordinator of the featured program. Evaluation is carried out by examining curriculum documents, interviews, and class supervision which is carried out in stages during each trimester, each semester, and at the end of the year.; 5) The curriculum development team carries out curriculum development by considering the evaluation results as a consideration in implementing curriculum development.

Abstract

PRODISTIK merupakan program sebanding dengan Diploma 1 di bidang IT yang menjadi salah satu bagian dari literasi peserta didik di lembaga pendidikan guna memperoleh kompetensi untuk bekal di era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan analisis komponen konteks, masukan, proses, produk dan manfaat program PRODISTIK yang dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Gresik. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian evaluasi model CIPPO yang secara komprehensif dapat memberikan informasi secara akurat, sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan selanjutnya. Subyek penelitian ini ialah kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, orang tua, lulusan, dan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi dokumentasi. Data kualitatif dipilih peneliti untuk melakukan analisis. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa:  (1)  Dasar  penyusunan  program prodistik terstruktur  dengan  baik,  namun  kurang  pada  aspek  kebijakan  sekolah, (2)  Sumber  daya  pendukung  cukup,  namun  perlu  adanya  guru  pendampingan  agar dapat menangani siswa pada kasus tertentu , (3)  Proses pelaksanaan program prodistik  tergolong kurang dalam melaksanakan evaluasi pada setiap kegiatan,  (4)  Untuk  pencapaian  program prodistik,  siswa  kurang  mampu memaknai  peristiwa  dan  tindakan  yang  berkaitan  dengan penggunaan aplikasi editing, (5) Manfaat dari program belum bisa dipergunakan untuk mencari pekerjaan relevan dengan bidang IT sesuai dengan tujuan program, hal ini dapat dibuktikan hanya beberapa lulusan yang bekerja di bidang yang sama.  Penelitian ini bukan hanya memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat terhadap sekolah, tetapi juga bermanfaat bagi tenaga pendidik, orang tua, peserta didik, pemerintah dan peneliti agar dapat meningkatkan inovasi dalam pelaksanaan dan menghasilkan kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan program IT.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of the "Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān" method in developing moral and religious aspects in early childhood at PAUD Al-Akram. Through a systematic research method focused on collecting valid qualitative data, it is expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and practice of religious education for young children. The Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān method, which focuses on the integrative instillation of moral and religious values through a reflective thinking approach, is anticipated to provide a strong foundation for character formation in children. This approach emphasizes not only memorization but also a deep understanding that aligns with the cognitive development level of early childhood. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through observations, interviews with educators, and documentation of learning activities at PAUD Al-Akram. The results indicate that the application of the Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān method is effective in fostering children's basic understanding of moral and religious concepts, such as honesty, responsibility, and respect for others. Additionally, this method enhances children's motivation to apply these values in their daily lives through enjoyable and interactive learning experiences. The implications of this research suggest that the Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān method has great potential to be implemented in other early childhood education institutions to support the formation of good character from an early age. This research produces outputs in the form of: (1) a scientific publication in a nationally accredited Sinta 4 journal that describes data on the implementation of the Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān method in developing early childhood capabilities in the aspects of religious and moral values; (2) a "Talaqiyyān Fikriyyān" learning model that can be applied to develop all aspects of child development at PAUD Al-Akram
