Abstract

Background. Marriage at an early age has a negative impact on adolescents in physical, psychological, and biological aspects. Marriage at an early age is closely related to traditions in society such as arranged marriage. Objective. This study aimed to to explore the socio-culture related to early marriage on Selayar Island. Method. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenology approach. Informants include youth, parents, health providers, and community heads. Data were collected using in-depth interviews and focus group discussions following the research objectives. Data were analyzed using domain analysis. Results. Three main domains found in this study related to early marriage are: (1) arranged marriage is a factor that supports early marriage (2) social support from the community supporting marriage at an early age because of the prevailing arranged marriage tradition in the society (3) the knowledge possessed by the community and adolescents is still lacking about the impact of early marriage Conclusion: Social culture in the community can be an approach to reducing early marriage.

Abstract

Gotong royong merupakan tradisi khas bangsa Indonesia yang terus dilestarikan, termasuk di Gampong Tran SP-6. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan gotong royong serta mengidentifikasi upaya masyarakat dalam mempertahankan tradisi tersebut sebagai modal sosial. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masyarakat masih aktif bergotong royong dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, seperti membersihkan lingkungan, membantu warga yang mengadakan acara, serta mendukung sesama dalam situasi kemalangan. Untuk menjaga tradisi ini, masyarakat memberikan imbalan kepada peserta gotong royong yang melakukan pekerjaan berat dan menyediakan konsumsi bagi mereka. Aktivitas gotong royong mencakup pembersihan fasilitas umum serta dukungan sosial dalam berbagai kegiatan kemasyarakatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk melihat dan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Dimana sampel yang dijadikan responden yaitu sebanyak 43 karyawan PT. Kasmar Matano Persada. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada respoden. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Secara simultan kompetensi ada pengaruh nyata terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan sementara untuk motivasi tidak ada pengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja dimana variabel motivasi bernilai negatif dengan asumsi terdapat faktor penyeimbang sehingga variabel kompetensi berpengaruh positif juga signifikan pada produktivitas kerja karyawan PT. Kasmar Matano Persada. Sedangkan secara parsial kompetensi mempengaruhi positif juga signifikan pada produktivitas kerja, serta motivasi mempengaruhi positif juga signifikan pada produktivitas kerja PT. Kasmar Matano Persada dengan asumsi terdapat faktor penyeimbang. Kata Kunci: kompetensi, motivasi, produktivitas kerja, karyawan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much leadership style and work motivation affect employee performance at the office of the regional financial and revenue management agency of North Luwu Regency. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The population of this study were employees at the office of the regional financial and revenue management agency of North Luwu Regency. Where the sample was collected by sampling technique. The total sample was calculated using the Slovin formula resulting in a sample of 55 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are instrument tests, multiple linear regression analyses, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results showed that the leadership style variable (X1) partially had a significant effect on employee performance (Y) while the work motivation variable (X2) partially had a significant effect on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of motivation and incentives on employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research. The data collection method for this research uses a questionnaire addressed to all employees of the Luwu Regency Inspectorate. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling where the entire population is sampled. The sample used for this research was 160 people. The analytical methods used are validity, reliability, and multiple regression tests. The research results show that: 1) motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Luwu Regency Inspectorate employees, and 2) incentives have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Luwu Regency Inspectorate employees.

Abstract

This qualitative case study examines the organizational resource capability of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) in conducting financial audits in Takalar Regency, Indonesia.The research focuses on analyzing APIP's resources, including routine combinations, specific objectives, non-tradability, and organizational strategy. Data was collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that APIP Takalar Regency has a structured auditor competency level, systematic work mechanisms, quality-focused auditor recruitment, and continuous competency development. However, challenges exist in auditor shortages and maintaining independence with local auditors. Achieving audit objectives requires support and commitment from supervisors and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). Efforts to maintain auditor integrity, independence and objectivity include higher allowance policies and a code of ethics. However, APIP's position under the Regent poses dilemmas in reporting potentially unfavorable audit results. APIP's organizational strategy is based on HR development, key performance indicators, HR improvement budgets, and auditor training programs. Increasing APIP's capability level is a key objective

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education and training on employee performance at PT Hadji Kalla Toyota Palopo. The research method used is quantitative with a population of 70 employees and a sample of 41 employees using random sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that education did not show a significant effect on employee performance while training had a significant positive effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, education and training had a significant effect on employee performance. The implications of the results of this study emphasize the importance of training in improving employee performance, so that companies are advised to focus on effective training programs in human resource development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the work environment and compensation influence employee performance at PT. Hadji Kalla Toyota Palopo, using a quantitative approach as the research method. The population in this study includes all 70 employees, while the sample consists of 41 employees, determined using Slovin's formula. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using SPSS. The findings of this study indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation does not show an influence on employee performance, and simultaneously, the work environment and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Hadji Kalla Toyota Palopo. The implications of these findings suggest that the company should pay attention to and improve the work environment and provide appropriate and fair compensation to employees to enhance their performance, thereby achieving the company's objectives.

Abstract

Penyakit tidak menular (PTM) seperti hipertensi, diabetes melitus, hiperkolesterolemia, dan hiperurisemia merupakan tantangan kesehatan masyarakat yang terus meningkat. Rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai faktor risiko dan pencegahan PTM menjadi latar belakang kegiatan ini. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan deteksi dini PTM me-lalui penyuluhan kesehatan dan pemeriksaan tekanan darah, gula darah puasa, kolesterol, dan asam urat. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan kepada 40 jemaat Gereja Toraja Elim Parepare. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas peserta mengalami hiperkolesterolemia (72,5%) dan hiperurisemia (85%), sementara sebagian kecil mengalami hipertensi (27,5%) dan hiper-glikemia (12,5%). Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama penyuluhan. Dampak kegiatan ini terlihat dari meningkatnya kesadaran peserta terhadap pentingnya pola hidup sehat dan pemeriksaan rutin sebagai upaya pencegahan PTM. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis komuni-tas keagamaan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kesadaran kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Spark plugs are an important component in the combustion process in the combustion chamber. The type of spark plug used will affect fuel consumption. This study aims to determine the comparison of fuel consumption when using iridium spark plugs and standard spark plugs. The method used is to test on 3 variations of engine rotation, namely 1000, 1500 and 2000 rpm with a duration of 5 minutes. The results of the study show that the average fuel consumption when using iridium spark plugs is greater than that of standard spark plugs. The average fuel consumption using an iridium spark plug at 1000 rpm is 33 mL more wasteful than using a standard spark plug, at 1500 rpm the engine speed is 27 mL more wasteful and at 2000 rpm the engine is more wasteful by 10 mL. So it can be concluded that the use of iridium spark plugs in 3 variations of engine rotation is 20.14% more wasteful than using standard spark plugs.
