Abstract

This study addresses the limited empirical research on cooperative learning in Islamic Religious Education, particularly within vocational secondary school contexts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Think–Pair–Share–based cooperative learning and examine its contribution to enhancing students’ social skills and conceptual understanding of fiqh, especially the topic of riba in debt transactions. A qualitative case study design was employed at SMK Sadamiyyah, involving classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and learning documentation with eight purposively selected participants. Data were analyzed thematically through systematic processes of transcription, data reduction, coding, categorization, and interpretive analysis, supported by source and method triangulation to ensure trustworthiness. The findings reveal that the structured stages of Think–Pair–Share foster more equitable student participation, strengthen interpersonal communication and collaborative skills, and deepen contextual understanding of religious concepts. The Pair stage functions as a psychological bridge that reduces anxiety and increases students’ confidence before whole-class discussion. Conceptual understanding of riba evolved from normative definitions toward contextual application in everyday life. The novelty of this study lies in positioning Think–Pair–Share as a psychopedagogical mechanism that integrates cognitive and social development simultaneously in Islamic Religious Education. This study contributes theoretically to strengthening social constructivist perspectives in religious education and practically provides a structured interaction model for designing dialogical and context-responsive Islamic Religious Education learning at the vocational level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis field reseach untuk membandingkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Al-Kulliyatu Al-Khamsah menggunakan dua metode yang mengutamakan unsur active-learning, Jigsaw dan Point Counter Point pada kelas X SMAN 3 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menganalisis perbedaan signifikansi antara kedua model dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik melalui pedekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya kedua model merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif, sehingga peserta didik terpacu untuk aktif di dalam kelas. Akan tetapi, model pembelajaran Point Counter Point lebih unggul dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sehingga terbentuk suasana belajar yang interaktif dan berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The development of the era of disruption requires PTKI to adapt through learning innovation. This study analyzes the influence of learning organization and knowledge management on student learning innovation with learning creativity as a mediating variable at PTKI in Kubu Raya Regency. Referring to the Theory of Planned Behavior, this study uses an associative quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis through SmartPLS 4. Data were collected from 100–200 active students using a Likert scale questionnaire. The results show that knowledge management has a significant positive effect on learning creativity (β = 0.939), while learning organization has a weak negative effect (β = -0.004). Learning creativity acts as a strong mediator of learning innovation (β = 0.875) with R² 0.788. These findings underscore that the effectiveness of knowledge management and the strengthening of creativity are key factors in increasing learning innovation, while the strengthening of a learning organization culture still needs to be improved through transformational leadership and appreciation of creative ideas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how teachers’ pedagogical competence influences students’ achievement in Qur’anic memorization (tahfidz) in an Islamic senior high school. Education in Islamic contexts is expected to develop intellectual capacity alongside moral and spiritual integrity, yet learning outcomes in intensive tahfidz programs often vary despite similar institutional settings. Previous studies highlight the importance of teacher competence but provide limited empirical insight into pedagogical practices within Qur’anic memorization education. This research employed a qualitative descriptive design and employed observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using an interactive model that involved reduction, display, and verification. The findings reveal that teachers’ pedagogical competence operates as an integrative instructional framework encompassing learner diagnosis, mastery of learning theories, curriculum development, educative implementation, effective communication, and continuous assessment. Pedagogical competence significantly enhances students’ cognitive accuracy, affective attachment to the Qur’an, and psychomotor precision in recitation. Supportive factors such as qualified teachers, a Qur’anic learning environment, and family support strengthen these outcomes, while weak intrinsic motivation and unstable spiritual intention inhibit learning consistency. This study contributes to Islamic education scholarship by contextualizing pedagogical competence within tahfidz learning and recommends integrating pedagogical training with spiritual mentoring to achieve sustainable memorization outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan dalam era digital menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang baru bagi pendidikan agama Islam yang selama ini bertumpu pada nilai, adab, dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adaptasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di era kecerdasan buatan dengan menelaah peluang, hambatan, dan strategi inovasi pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan kepala madrasah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi Pendidikan Agama Islam berlangsung secara bertahap dan selektif; peluang kecerdasan buatan terlihat pada personalisasi pembelajaran, efisiensi evaluasi, dan perluasan akses sumber belajar, sementara hambatan utama meliputi keterbatasan literasi digital guru, sarana prasarana, serta kekhawatiran terhadap degradasi nilai dan relasi humanis dalam pembelajaran. Strategi inovasi yang diterapkan mencakup penguatan kapasitas guru, pengembangan model pembelajaran hybrid, dan integrasi teknologi secara kontekstual tanpa menggeser nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kebijakan dan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang adaptif, humanis, dan berlandaskan etika dalam merespons perkembangan kecerdasan buatan.
