Abstract

Objective:  Lack of interest doing exercise is one of the cause of myogenic low back pain caused by decreased stamina and fitness levels following muscle spasms thus resulting myogenic low back pain. One way to reduce pain  is with aerobic exercise. Methods:  This study is a pre-experimental design to determine whether there is an reduce pain by providing aerobic exercise to myogenic low back pain sufferer. The research design used in this study was a one group pretest – posttest design. This re- search was conducted on patient aged 26-45 years at Islamic Hospital of A Yani Surabaya. Aerobic Exercise was given 6 times, and pain was measured using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) test. Measurement of pain with VAS (Visual Analog Scale) test is measured when the first time patients join the riset,. The aerobic exercises given are warming up include of breathing exercise, hip movement, arm swing, flexi trunk and run in place. Second is workout include of squad, lunge variation and run in place. Third is cooling down include of stretch of the sky, squad stretch, hamstring stretch, hip flexor and breathing exercise. The frequency of exercise given is 2 times a week for three weeks with an intensity of 6 repetitions per set, and held for 8 seconds. Posttest data retrieval was carried out again for all patients after undergoing aerobic exercise 6 times using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) test.Results:   The composite value of VAS (Visual Analog Scale) test on posttest results after giving 6 times of aerobic exercise is quite significant compared to the results of pretest before giving aerobic exercise. The data was tested for normality using the Chi-squared test with the results obtained were P <0.05, which means there is a statistically significant relationship between the two variables.Conclusion:  The results obtained in the study showed pain reduction from patient with myogenic low back pain after being given aerobic exercise.

Abstract

AbstractPeace Journalism in digital media supposed to be a part of ethical values which is play a role of groundwork for a media operated in a plural society. By a warm and unprovocative news, digital media could take a part in preventing and ceasing conflicts. Aside from evaluating contributions of peace journalism, this research would like to review connectivity between media and their readers in affirming order and peace. Scrutinizing news issued by kompas.com, medcom.id and tempo.co during Ramadan 1441H, we can see that three of them tried to integrate peace journalism value in their digital publication. However, peace journalism still confronting challenges such as hoax and click bait which could entrap digital media in fulfilling their interests by sacrificing public interest in maintaining order. Keywords: peace journalism, digital media, conflict prevention and resolution.

Abstract

The restaurant is a very potential place as a breeding ground for flies, so it requires monitoring the density of flies. Flies act as vectors of disease carriers. Diseases caused by flies such as diarrhea, cholera, and dysentery.One of the breeding places for flies is garbage or food scraps from processed products. Flies love the distinctive smell of rotting garbage. Therefore, waste has a big role in the spread of diseases, especially those that can be transmitted through food. Waste management is needed so that garbage does not accumulate in order to break the life cycle and breeding of flies. In addition, the behavior of the spread of flies is strongly influenced by the intensity of light, temperature, and humidity. Flies are also phototropic insects, which are light-loving. The effect of light on flies depends entirely on temperature and humidity. This study uses a cross-sectional survey study with a quantitative analytic approach. The population in this study amounted to 30 restaurants in Muara Angke Harbor. In this study, no sampling was carried out because it used the total of the entire population. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical environmental factors, namely light intensity, temperature, air humidity, and the stage of garbage collection to the fly population index at restaurants in Muara Angke Harbor. The results of the study showed that there was no significant relationship between light intensity and fly population index (p-value=1,000), temperature and fly population index (p-value=0.565), humidity and fly population index (p-value=0.534). There was a significant relationship between the waste collection stage and the fly population index (p-value=0.002).

Abstract

Kegiatan belajar mengajar membutukan media praktik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Industri. SMK Dwija Praja memiliki laboratorium kendali yang didalamnya terdapat trainer sistem kendali 3 Fasa sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media penelitian dengan melengkapi pada perlengkapan hubung. sehingga lemahnya mahasiswa dalam memahami dan mengembangkan materi yang dipraktikan dengan alat praktik panel hubung bagi yang ada di bengkel Teknik Elektronika UMPP saat ini. Lemahnya pemahaman dan penerimaan materi mahasiswa ini disebabkan kurangnya alat praktik di laboratorium Teknik elektronika sebagai media pembelajaran. Alternatifnya solusinya adalah perlunya sebuah trainer pembelajaran yang membahas tentang PHB. Untuk itu maka penulis memandang perlunya trainer perlengkapan hubung bagisistem jaringan 3 fasadan penerangan Guna untuk pengembangan alat praktik yang ada di bengkel Teknik Elektronika di UMPP ( Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan). Penulis melakukan dengan beberapa metode yaitu Observasi, Konsultasi, Riset. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Trainer perlengkapan hubung bagi sistem jaringan 3 fasa Trainer perlengkapan hubung bagi system jaringan 3 Fasa ini dirancang dengan konsep portable dan dikemas seperti meja belajar sehingga mudah digunakan dan lebih efektif sebagai modul praktikum. Trainer ini setelah dicoba untuk praktek job rangkaian kendali motor 1 fasa dan 3 fasa dapat bekerja dengan baik. Hasil dari Trainer Perlengkapan hubung bagiSystem jaringan 3 fasa ini bisa digunakan untuk media pembelajaran bagi siswa maupun mahasiswa.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat terintegrasi KKN Tematik ini adalah memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan budidaya tanaman organik kepada mitra sasaran (Dharma Wanita Persatuan Universitas Halu Oleo), sehingga mereka dapat mengembangkan tanaman sayuran organik di pekarangan masing-masing. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UHO sebagai peserta KKN Tematik dalam pembuatan demplot sayuran organik. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis serta pendampingan teknologi secara langsung pada mitra sasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini telah tercapai, ditandai dengan respon peserta yang sangat positif dan antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap materi penyuluhan yang diberikan. Transfer pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui penyuluhan yang langsung diimplementasikan dalam bentuk demplot teknologi merupakan metode yang efektif dan efisien dalam proses pembelajaran peserta sehingga diharapkan mereka dapat dengan mudah menduplikasi teknologi yang diberikan secara berkelanjutan terutama di lingkungan rumah tangga masing-masing.

Abstract

This PKMI activity will apply environmentally friendly POC (liquid organic fertilizer) technology to the people who live in Wakadia Village, Muna Regency. Wakadia village is an agricultural area with land conditions that grow vegetables yearly using chemical fertilizers. The chemical fertilizer will have an impact on decreasing the condition of soil nutrients and have an impact on the health of the people of Wakadia village. In this New Normal era, healthy and nutritious nutrition is urgently needed to increase the resistance or immunity of the local community, so to fulfill this nutrition, organic vegetables that are free of chemicals are needed. Therefore, POP technology is needed to improve the quality of soil nutrients, increase production and obtain organic vegetable crops. In the village of Wakadia there are also many agricultural wastes and household wastes that are abundant but have not been optimally processed so they do not provide added value to the village community, so this PKM activity must be carried out to improve environmental conditions that have been polluted due to the use of chemical fertilizers. , and can also increase the local community's income by utilizing existing waste as organic fertilizer, where organic fertilizer has a higher price than unprocessed livestock manure. Thus, the solution offered in this PKMI activity is the application of technology in changing the use of chemical fertilizers with POC technology so that farming land is even more productive. The forms of technology applied to the community in this service are (1) technology for making liquid organic fertilizer, (2) technology for packaging liquid organic fertilizer (3) technology for marketing tomato plants through online media (Facebook and WhatsApp).

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Gustatory rhinitis is a syndrome that causes symptoms of annoying rhinorrhea, occurring immediately after consuming solid or liquid foods which are hot and /or spicy. Usually starts within a few minutes after the ingestion of the foods involved, and is not associated with itching, sneezing, nasal congestion or facial pain. Purpose: To discuss the pathophysiology and proper management of gustatory rhinitis. Literature Review: Recent studies suggest that gustatory rhinitis is likely associated with phenomenon of neurogenic inflammation. The ingestion of spicy foods  caused  the  stimulation of trigeminal sensory nerve endings located in the upper part of the aerodigestive track. Sensory   nerve stimulation seems to be correlated with an activation of post ganglionic cholinergic muscarinic parasympathetic fibers and sensitive to atropine. Conclusion: The initial management of gustatory rhinitis is avoiding the trigger foods. Using combination of topical steroid and anticholinergic intranasal had been proven more effective to treat the rhinorrhea caused by gustatory rhinitis than administration of single drug. ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Rinitis gustatori adalah sindroma yang menimbulkan gejala rinore yang mengganggu, sesaat setelah mengonsumsi makanan padat atau cair, yang bersifat pedas dan/atau berempah. Biasanya dimulai dalam beberapa menit setelah menelan makanan tersebut, dan tidak disertai dengan gatal, bersin, hidung tersumbat atau nyeri wajah. Tujuan: Untuk membahas patofisiologi dan tatalaksana yang tepat pada rinitis gustatori. Tinjauan Pustaka: Sejumlah studi terbaru mendapatkan rinitis gustatori berkaitan dengan fenomena inflamasi neurogenik. Proses menelan makanan pedas dapat menyebabkan stimulasi ujung saraf sensorik trigeminal yang terletak di jalur aerodigestif bagian atas. Stimulasi saraf sensorik tersebut berkaitan dengan pengaktifan serabut saraf parasimpatik muskarinik kolinergik post ganglion yang sensitif terhadap atropin. Kesimpulan: Tatalaksana awal yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi rinitis gustatori adalah menghindari makanan pemicu. Kombinasi penggunaan antikolinergik intranasal dan steroid topikal, secara profilaksis atau sebagai terapi telah terbukti lebih efektif untuk mengatasi rinore akibat rinitis gustatori dibandingkan pemberian masing- masing obat tersendiri.

Abstract

Ngantang merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil durian lokal di Kabupaten Malang, daerah ini memiliki cuaca yang sejuk dengan ketinggian tempat 870 meter diatas permukaan laut. Durian adalah salah satu jenis buah yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan peluang pasar yang tinggi untuk dikembangkan. Dalam upaya pengembangan usaha agribisnis durian, dukungan akan ketersediaan benih bermutu sangatlah menentukan keberhasilannya. Kelompok tani Desa Kaumrejo menanam durian dengan sistem budidaya seadanya atau bisa dikatakan sangat tradisional dengan asal bibit yang tidak jelas mutunya. Tujuan dari program ini adalah menciptakan petani durian Desa Kaumrejo secara maniri dapat menghasilkan bibit tanaman durian yang unggul dan berkualitas sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan berimbas terhadap pendapatan petani durian. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode praktik aktif oleh pakar dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, petani diajarkan untuk membuat bibit secara mandiri dengan cara perbanyakan vegetatif yaitu grafting dan okulasi. Dari pelaksanaan program, petani telah mampu menghasilkan bibit durian dengan tingkat keberhasilan 58,33% untuk metode okulasi modifikasi, 40,74% metode grafting V, 53,33% metode okulasi chip, dan 36,36% untuk metode okulasi forkert. Ngantang is one of the local durian-producing areas in Malang Regency, this area has cool weather with an altitude of 870 meters above sea level. Durian is a type of fruit that has high economic value and market opportunities to develop. To develop a durian agribusiness, support for the availability of quality seeds is critical to its success. The Kaumrejo Village farmer group grows durians with makeshift or traditional cultivation with seeds of unclear quality. This program aims to create durian farmers in Kaumrejo Village to independently produce superior and quality durian seeds so that they can increase productivity and impact the income of durian farmers. The training was carried out using active practice methods by experts from UMM. Farmers were taught to make seeds independently through vegetative propagation, namely grafting and grafting. From the implementation of the program, farmers have been able to produce durian seedlings with a success rate for the modified grafting method of 58.33%, the grafting V method of 40.74%, the chip grafting method of 53.33%, and the forkert grafting method of 36.36%.

Abstract

Hydroponic technology is a solution to overcome the limitations of agricultural land with high production and quality. Macro and micro nutrients are elements that are useful for plant growth and development. Over-absorption of elements that contribute little to crop productivity and quality can be avoided, and fertilizer costs can be minimized by applying elements quantitatively to the nutrient solution supplied to plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional formula with macro and micro nutrients in red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) with the desired plant size, so that fertilization management can be obtained. The research used several levels of nutrient concentration and circulation of water flow. At 25 hst when red spinach was harvested the nutrient concentration formula that showed the highest yield was 311 mg/l-1 nitrogen, 76 mg/l-1 phosphorus, 349 mg/l-1 potassium, 286 mg/l-1 calcium, 157 mg /l-1 magnesium, 248 mg/l-1 sulfur, 7 mg/l-1 iron, 2.9 mg/l-1 manganese, 0.6 mg/l-1 zinc, 0.6 mg/l-1 boron, 0.1 mg/l-1 copper, 0.06 mg/l-1 molybdenum. This calculation is a proper concentration to be used as a reference for sustainable hydroponic nutrient management. Keywords: nutrient concentration, red spinach, hydroponics, NFT system

Abstract

The global transition towards sustainable transportation solutions has spurred the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) as a promising alternative to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. However, as the adoption of EVs continues to accelerate, the focus has shifted towards ensuring the longevity of electric vehicle operations worldwide. This study aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the multifaceted aspects surrounding the longevity of EV operations on a global scale. The longevity of electric vehicle operations encompasses various dimensions, including technological advancements, infrastructure development, policy support, and consumer behavior. Firstly, advancements in battery technology play a pivotal role in determining the lifespan of EVs. The article delves into the evolution of battery chemistries, energy densities, and thermal management systems, which collectively impact battery life and overall vehicle longevity. Additionally, insights into battery recycling and second-life applications are discussed as essential strategies to mitigate environmental impacts and enhance the sustainability of EV operations.
