Abstract

Literacy is now beginning to become a discourse in various media, both print and social media. This happened since Anies Baswedan, when he was Minister of Education and Culture, launched the School Literacy Movement (GLS). Trends in global currents and the Indonesian economy are also entering the era of the creative industry revolution, an era of revolution that relies heavily on the products of the creative industries. Creative industries can be defined as industries based on expertise, talent and creativity; such as fashion, crafts, publishing (books and print media), music, film and advertising. Literary works and creative industries are both based on talent and creativity and are equally cultural. The difference is, the process of creating literary works is more oriented to the interests of the literary (literary), while the creative industry is more oriented to the interests of the market. Local Wisdom is considered so interesting to be the main topic raised in literacy development because through learning in the classroom, students will indirectly get to know the local wisdom of each region. This paper seeks to reveal the steps that can be taken so that the culture of literacy or GLS can still go hand in hand with the development of the existing creative industries. The method used is certainly descriptive and through a qualitative approach. In conclusion, the Indonesian literacy movement still needs to be promoted, and Indonesian language learning in tertiary institutions still needs to be improved, so that people become more proficient in Indonesian and continue to love Indonesian as a means of communication, cultural imaging, and strengthening the national identity. The low ability of students in the field of poetry indicates the need to empower poetry writing for students. This article aims to illustrate how to empower the literacy culture of students writing poetry in the face of the era of the creative industry revolution.

Abstract

Background of this research tradition Indonesian Pencak silat martial arts Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) certificate or an intangible cultural heritage certificate from the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization, or UNESCO. This research aims to find the cultural models of pencak silat as a martial art inherited from the ancestors of the Indonesian people to their children and grandchildren, which contain a lot of philosophy in them. Like the stance of the horses in pencak silat, they are rarely in a clenched fist, but always with their hands open. That means that pencak silat is not a form of self-defense to hurt people. But, aiming to defend yourself from the attacks of others. In the stance model of the horses, if someone invites a fight, they tend to avoid it. And if the opponent continues to attack, then the stance used is usually evasion. If the opponent is still attacking, then a defense is used. After being parried, it turns out that the opponent is still attacking, so we catch it and we paralyze it with a lock. That is, a fighter will never look for enemies. The stages of this research method use a historical-hermeneutic approach, descriptive qualitative with phenomenological methods. Javanology as a center of excellence for universities to develop Javanese ethics, Hamemayu hayuning bawono, and based on the value of local wisdom can show that the character of a warrior. Superior character is the process of cultural inheritance in the younger generation to form personality as a basis for perspective, think, behave and act. The targeted output of this research is the accredited national journal Sinta 2 Patanjala: Journal of Historical and Cultural Research, as well as reputable international journals indexed by Scopus Q1 Journal of Cultural Heritage.

Abstract

Introduction: Exclusive breastfeeding during the postpartum period is crucial for optimal infant health and growth, but its success rate remains low. Lactation education for postpartum mothers is an effective intervention in improving mothers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding. This systematic literature review analyzed various studies that discussed the effect of lactation education on the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The literature search strategy was conducted using the PubMed and Schoolar databases. Inclusion criteria included: a) articles from 2020–2025, b) intervention studies (RCTs, quasi-experiments, mixed methods), c) pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and d) publications in English or Indonesian. The review results showed that lactation education in the form of counseling, breastfeeding technique training, and the use of educational media such as lactation technique videos significantly improved mothers' ability to provide exclusive breastfeeding, reduced breastfeeding problems, and increased the frequency and duration of breastfeeding. In conclusion, lactation education is an important strategy that can empower postpartum mothers to successfully provide exclusive breastfeeding, and is recommended for routine and continuous implementation by health workers. A literature search was conducted through PubMed and Elicit databases, with inclusion criteria for intervention studies covering the 2020–2025 period. Conclution indicate that culturally based interventions, such as health education through local wisdom, strengthening family food security, empowering mothers, and postpartum psychosocial support, have been shown to be effective in improving breastfeeding practices, feeding behaviors, and mother-child bonding. In conclusion, adaptive culturally based interventions have significant potential to support stunting prevention

Abstract

History learning in Indonesia remains largely transmissive and focused on factual memorization, limiting the development of students’ historical consciousness. This library research examines the relevance and integration of critical philosophy approaches in Indonesian history education by analyzing the canonical works of Freire, Habermas, Gadamer, and Rüsen alongside 24 peer-reviewed journal articles on history education and historical consciousness published between 2020 and 2024. Using content analysis and inter-theoretical comparison of 28 sources, the study argues that critical pedagogy, critical theory, and hermeneutics provide a coherent epistemological foundation for transforming history learning from knowledge transmission toward the cultivation of critical-historical consciousness. Its conceptual contribution is a four-pillar Critical History Pedagogy Framework comprising: deconstruction of singular narratives, democratic historical dialogue, historical-contemporary connection, and historical identity reflection. Grounded in the Merdeka Curriculum context and aligned with Rüsen’s typology of historical consciousness, this framework offers an integrated and operationalizable model for history curriculum development and pedagogy in Indonesia. Empirical testing in classroom settings is recommended for future research.
