Abstract

This study aims to systematically synthesize the characteristics, components, theoretical framework, determinants, barriers, effectiveness, and research gaps related to family-based health promotion models in improving compliance with the use of ankle foot orthosis (AFO) in children with cerebral palsy (CP). The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA 2020 approach through a search of the Scopus database using keywords related to Family Health Promotion, Orthosis Use Adherence, and Pediatric Cerebral Palsy. Of the 659 initial articles, 71 main studies and 2 additional sources met the inclusion criteria to be analyzed through thematic synthesis and narrative integrative review. The results show that there is no single model that specifically integrates family-based health promotion to improve adherence to the use of AFO in CP children, but the literature provides a strong foundation through Family Systems Theory, Pender's Health Promotion Model, WHO Adherence Model, caregiver empowerment, personalized orthotic care, and digital health support. Key factors influencing compliance include family support, caregiver burden, self-efficacy, device comfort, health system, and social environment. In conclusion, improving compliance with the use of AFO requires an integrative approach that places the family at the center of health promotion, as well as opening up opportunities for the development of new conceptual models that are more comprehensive, personalized, and sustainable.

Abstract

The digital communication revolution has fundamentally transformed the occupational safety and health (OSH) landscape through the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR), and various digital communication platforms. This study aims to analyze the dialectic between the rationality of technological efficiency and workers’ psychosocial well-being in the context of digital communication transformation in OSH. Using a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review, this study integrates four theoretical frameworks: Diffusion of Innovations (Rogers, 2003), the Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1989), the Job Demands–Resources Model (Demerouti et al., 2001), and the Socio-Technical approach (Trist & Emery, 1960). The study’s findings indicate that while digital communication technologies significantly enhance the effectiveness of workplace safety communication, their implementation must take into account workers’ overall psychosocial well-being. From the perspectives of work humanism and the philosophy of technology, the digitalization of occupational safety and health (OSH) should not be solely focused on production efficiency, but rather aimed at creating a balance between technological capabilities and the human dignity of workers. This study recommends the integration of a participatory development communication approach, the application of digital ergonomics principles, and the development of OSH policies that are responsive to the psychosocial dynamics of the digital workplace.

Abstract

Background of this research tradition Indonesian Pencak silat martial arts Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) certificate or an intangible cultural heritage certificate from the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization, or UNESCO. This research aims to find the cultural models of pencak silat as a martial art inherited from the ancestors of the Indonesian people to their children and grandchildren, which contain a lot of philosophy in them. Like the stance of the horses in pencak silat, they are rarely in a clenched fist, but always with their hands open. That means that pencak silat is not a form of self-defense to hurt people. But, aiming to defend yourself from the attacks of others. In the stance model of the horses, if someone invites a fight, they tend to avoid it. And if the opponent continues to attack, then the stance used is usually evasion. If the opponent is still attacking, then a defense is used. After being parried, it turns out that the opponent is still attacking, so we catch it and we paralyze it with a lock. That is, a fighter will never look for enemies. The stages of this research method use a historical-hermeneutic approach, descriptive qualitative with phenomenological methods. Javanology as a center of excellence for universities to develop Javanese ethics, Hamemayu hayuning bawono, and based on the value of local wisdom can show that the character of a warrior. Superior character is the process of cultural inheritance in the younger generation to form personality as a basis for perspective, think, behave and act. Abstract
