Abstract

This study discusses the contribution of pedicab drivers in increasing sharia tourism in the city of Padangsidimpuan through the support of several stakeholders such as the Government, Academicians, Businessmen, and Civil Society or better known as the Quadruple Helix. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach where the purpose of descriptive is a formulation of the problem that directs research to be able to explore social situations that will be studied broadly, thoroughly, and in depth. The results of this study indicate that the contribution of tourist pedicab drivers in the development of sharia tourism in the city of Padangsidimpuan with the support of the Quadruple Helix role can be seen from the launch of the tourist pedicabs which are a form of effort to increase the attractiveness of tourists to travel to the city of Padangsidimpuan. With the existence of these tourist pedicabs, tourist visits to the city of Padangsidimpuan have also increased after a decline due to the impact of the pandemic in 2019. In addition, tourist pedicab drivers are also provided with training and understanding by experts on the rules that apply when bringing tourists to destinations. -existing tourist destinations and these are in accordance with the provisions of the Shari'a. Not only tourist pedicab drivers, the government, businessmen, and the community there also work together in providing facilities that support Islamic tourism activities. So with this it is hoped that the sharia tourism sector in the city of Padangsidimpuan can continue to develop in the future.

Abstract

The digital transformation in payment systems has encouraged micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to technology, one of which is through the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). This study aims to analyze the perceptions of MSME actors and consumers regarding the ease and benefits of using QRIS, identify the obstacles in its implementation, and evaluate its contribution to business efficiency and the independence of the national financial system. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method by conducting interviews with five informants, consisting of three MSME owners and two university students in Kelurahan Durian, Tebing Tinggi City. The results show that QRIS is perceived as a practical, fast, and secure payment method. Its use facilitates financial record-keeping for business owners and increases customer trust. The obstacles encountered are mostly technical, such as network issues and device limitations, but do not reduce users’ interest. Furthermore, QRIS contributes to maintaining domestic cash flow and reducing dependence on foreign payment systems, thus supporting national economic sovereignty. Overall, QRIS has proven effective as an inclusive digital payment solution for both MSMEs and consumers.

Abstract

General Background: The rapid evolution of financial technology has introduced digital payment systems as vital tools for business growth. Specific Background: Within the context of Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially in Medan City, these advancements intersect with government policy and religious ethics. Knowledge Gap: However, limited empirical evidence exists on how digital payments, Islamic business principles, and state subsidies collectively influence MSME income. Aims: This study aims to quantitatively examine the effect of digital payment technologies, Islamic business practices, and government subsidies on MSME revenue in Medan. Results: Using a correlational approach and Slovin-based purposive sampling of 100 MSME owners from a population of 70,843, multiple linear regression analysis reveals that all three independent variables significantly and positively affect MSME income. Novelty: The study integrates faith-based economic principles with technological and policy variables, providing a unique multidimensional perspective on MSME growth. Implications: The findings suggest that synergistic support—combining ethical entrepreneurship, digital finance, and government intervention—can enhance income generation for MSMEs, thereby offering valuable policy insights for sustainable economic development. Abstract

Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) explained that from 2010-2013 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia has increased. This explains that interest in entrepreneurship in Indonesia still become a trend that gets attention for the people of Indonesia. The government's concern in the field of entrepreneurship is increasingly directed in various business actors, one of them is the young generation. This is in accordance with the government program in 2017 where the launch of Beginner Entrepreneurship (WP). This explains that the opportunity to start a business at a young age is no longer an obstacle in view of the support from the government that participated in encouraging the new WP in Indonesia. Educational institutions can be a training place for entrepreneurship incubation for students. Encouragement through the role of courses in the institution should be able to walk in harmony. Readiness of students is not uncommon to be a barrier to start a business. This study aims to explain whether there is an influence between the factors of encouragement of educational institutions and entrepreneurship courses to entrepreneurial interests for students. By using SPSS and error rates of 5%, this results that both the educational institution and the role of entrepreneurship courses partially affect student entrepreneurship interests. Di era globalisasi yang sekarang dapat terbilang semakin maju suatu negara maka akan sangat berpengaruh juga terhadap masyarakatnya yaitu orang-orang dapat terdidik dengan majunya suatu negara tersebut, tetapi banyak pengangguran karena rendahnya lowongan pekerjaan. Masalah ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya kepentingan didalam dunia pengusaha dalam perekonomian di suatu Negara. Kata motivasi juga sebagai dorongan yang dipengaruhi dari dalam diri seseorang maupun luar diri seseorang agar orang itu mempunyai semangat dalam melakukan segala sesuatu. Apabila seseorang itu berwirausaha maka akan dapat termotivasi dalam mendapatkan beberapa hal yang di mau, misalnya mendapatkan keuntungan disetiap penjualannya atau usahanya, mempunyai kebebasan dalam segala hal yang positif, memiliki sifat mandiri dan mempunyai banyak peluang dalam menentukan nasibnya sendiri dan kewirausahaan juga dapat membantu dalam menyediakan banyak lowongan pekerjaan dan dapat menumbuhkan kesejahteraan. Abstract

The poverty and unemployment rate in Indonesia is quite high, the lack of jobs in Indonesia is one of the problems that must be overcome by the government. All kinds of ways have been done to help the community, one way that can be done is to change the mindset of the community from finding a job to an entrepreneur who opens jobs. This method needs to be done slowly and must be given an example. One of them is students, because students are drivers of change in a better direction, through knowledge of ideas, and skills that students have become locomotives of progress. Therefore the importance of this education can change the mindset of students from job seekers to entrepreneurs, this can help the government in solving this problem, therefore this entrepreneurial education is very important in building the characterization of students to become young entrepreneurs.

Abstract

In this day and age, many college graduate students need a long time to get a job, so there are still many unemployed students from various college graduates. Entrepreneurship is the key to overcoming the unemployment of college graduates. For this reason, student interest in running a private business is needed to be developed on campus. Entrepreneurship is a field that is often discussed because it is always experiencing developments in the economic and business fields. Entrepreneurship is considered an important aspect because one of the solutions to help the economy in Indonesia is by increasing the number of competent entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs are people who will always face risks and are smart in looking for opportunities. Higher education is an institution that is expected to be able to give birth to young entrepreneurs through organized entrepreneurship education. This research is a qualitative method with a literature review. Abstract

In doing business for SMEs, Islamic business ethics has a major impact on their business. Therefore, the purpose of this study is how Islamic business ethics can advance and improve the business of MSME actors. In conducting this research, the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive method, where the data obtained through the analysis of previous research and also uses accurate reading reference sources such as journals, books, articles, and trusted websites. As for the results, the results obtained are that MSME actors are fully aware that Islamic business ethics has a major influence on their business, seen from MSME actors who have widely applied Islamic business ethics in production, consumption and distribution. Because MSME actors strongly believe that Islamic business ethics can advance their business so that they experience a significant increase.

The purpose of this research is to find out how to apply the benefits of E-Commerce for entrepreneurs. The research method used is using qualitative methods.
