Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an is an important foundation for Muslims, especially if it is instilled from an early age. However, there are still many early childhood children who face difficulties in reading the Qur'an properly and correctly. This study aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an of early childhood at TPA Darul Rahman Palangka Raya through the assistance of the Karimah method. The Karimah method, which emphasizes systematic and structured teaching of Arabic letters and tajweed, is considered effective for beginners. This research uses the Action Research method with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 7 students of class A at TPA Darul Rahman. The results of the observation showed that the main problem lies in the lack of emphasis on the short length of the reading, makharijul huruf, and the application of tajweed rules. Through intensive assistance for 5 meetings, there was a significant improvement in the participants' ability to read the Qur'an. The Karimah method proved to be effective due to its simple approach, focus on concise and structured exercises, and interesting presentation of materials. This program is very much needed by people who want to learn to read the Qur'an in a short time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran konten agama di Instagram dalam meningkatkan ketenangan batin remaja, dengan fokus pada bagaimana platform media sosial dapat menjadi sarana spiritualitas di era digital. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan terhadap 28 remaja berusia 18–22 tahun, mayoritas responden menyatakan bahwa konten agama di Instagram, seperti kutipan ayat suci, ceramah singkat, dan video motivasi Islami, memberikan dampak positif terhadap ketenangan batin mereka. Sebanyak 82% responden merasa lebih tenang setelah mengonsumsi konten tersebut, sementara 71% mengaku lebih sering membaca konten agama di Instagram dibandingkan sumber lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka untuk menganalisis bagaimana konten agama memengaruhi psikologi remaja, dengan teori spiritualitas dan media sosial sebagai landasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Instagram tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai platform hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai ruang spiritual yang mendukung remaja dalam menghadapi tekanan hidup. Abstract

Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media dalam penyampaian materi yang menarik seperti Smart Box di TP Al-Qur'an Syuhada. Smart Box merupakan alat peraga berbentuk persegi yang terdiri dari empat sisi yang berisi kartu gambar dan kartu kata. Pentingnya penggunaan media Smart Box dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah untuk menarik minat siswa dalam mempelajari materi yang disampaikan, salah satunya materi bulan Hijriah. Penggunaan media pembelajaran Smart Box diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa dalam mempelajari materi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Service Learning (SL). Berdasarkan hasil penggunaan media Smart Box dalam penyampaian materi bulan Hijriah telah banyak mengalami kemajuan, antara lain: meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa serta semangat belajar terkait materi bulan Hijriah. Adapun untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menggunakan media atau strategi yang menarik dalam pembelajaran, sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, semangat, dan keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to instill noble moral values, particularly respect for parents and teachers, in the children of TPQ Al-Haji Palangka Raya through storytelling. The method used is Service Learning, which combines community service with reflective learning. The activity is carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reflection. During the preparation stage, researchers conducted observations and interviews with TPQ administrators to understand the children's needs, then designed storytelling materials containing moral values. The implementation stage involved interactive storytelling sessions, discussions, and role-playing to practice respect for parents and teachers. Data was collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The reflection stage was conducted to evaluate the impact of the activity and the learning gained by the service team. The results showed an increase in the children's understanding of the importance of respecting parents and teachers, as well as their enthusiasm in participating in the activities. The service team also gained valuable experience in managing educational activities and understanding the social context of the community. This activity proves that storytelling is effective in instilling moral values in children. It is hoped that this approach can be widely adopted in moral education at TPQ and other educational institutions, contributing to the formation of a generation with strong character and noble ethics.

Abstract

Background: Teacher innovation and the implementation of humanistic learning in inclusive schools are important to ensure the creation of learning that respects diversity and meets the individual needs of all learners. Aim: This study aims to analyze PAI teachers' innovations in implementing inclusive education based on humanistic learning to improve the quality of inclusive and learner-centered learning. Method: This study used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews. Results and Dıscussion: The results of this study indicated that PAI teachers' innovation is running well (89.78%) in inclusive education because PAI teachers are able to design and implement innovative learning strategies, including curriculum adaptation, use of relevant learning media, and approaches that pay attention to the special needs of inclusive learners, while humanistic-based learning is running very well (91.36%) in inclusive education because PAI teachers have successfully implemented humanistic learning principles, such as humanizing learners. This is illustrated in the learning process when conducting direct observation in the classroom and in the school environment that every teacher pays attention to every learner's needs. This successful implementation reflects the commitment of PAI teachers in encouraging the creation of a learning atmosphere that is full of empathy, respect for diversity, and supports the holistic development of learners, both in academic and non-academic aspects. These results are evidence that innovation and humanistic approaches are very relevant to support quality inclusive education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transaksi digital paylater terhadap perilaku konsumtif generasi Z, khususnya pada mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya. Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah melahirkan berbagai inovasi dalam sistem pembayaran, salah satunya adalah layanan paylater yang memungkinkan konsumen untuk membeli barang atau jasa dan membayarnya di kemudian hari. Kemudahan akses, kecepatan transaksi, serta promosi yang menarik menjadikan paylater populer di kalangan mahasiswa yang merupakan bagian dari generasi Z kelompok usia yang sangat akrab dengan teknologi digital. Namun, penggunaan paylater secara tidak terkontrol dapat memicu perilaku konsumtif, yaitu kecenderungan untuk membeli barang berdasarkan keinginan, bukan kebutuhan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan wawancara kepada mahasiswa, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan paylater dan peningkatan perilaku konsumtif. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya edukasi literasi keuangan agar mahasiswa mampu mengelola konsumsi dan utang secara bijak, serta memahami dampak jangka panjang dari penggunaan layanan keuangan digital.

Abstract

Membaca Al-Qur'an dengan ilmu tajwid sangat penting untuk menjaga keaslian lafaz dan menghindari perubahan makna. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di TPA Darussa'adah Palangka Raya dengan tujuan membina anak-anak dalam membaca Al-Qur'an berlandaskan ilmu tajwid, khususnya hukum bacaan idgham bighunnah dan idgham bila ghunnah. Metode yang digunakan adalah service learning, melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 6 Juni 2024, selama satu hari. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak telah menunjukkan pemahaman mengenai cara membaca Al-Qur'an yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan kaidah ilmu tajwid, khususnya idgham bighunnah dan idgham bila ghunnah. Pembinaan ini memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kualitas bacaan siswa, di mana mereka mulai menunjukkan perbaikan dalam melafalkan hukum bacaan nun mati dan tanwin, serta kesalahan-kesalahan yang sebelumnya sering ditemukan mulai berkurang setelah dilakukan pembimbingan langsung. Meskipun demikian, masih ada beberapa anak yang belum sepenuhnya mengingat huruf hijaiyah yang tergolong dalam hukum bacaan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembiasaan dan latihan berkelanjutan agar penerapan hukum bacaan dapat dilakukan secara konsisten dan benar dalam membaca Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Isra' Mi'raj adalah peristiwa penting dalam Islam, namun pemahaman anak-anak sering terbatas akibat metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Penelitian ini mengenalkan Isra' Mi'raj melalui lagu "Di Suatu Malam di Bulan Rajab" di pengajian Masjid Ar-Rasyid. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, penyuluhan, dan evaluasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis lagu meningkatkan antusiasme dan pengetahuan praktis anak-anak terhadap Isra' Mi'raj. Lagu membantu anak-anak mengingat peristiwa, tempat, serta hikmahnya dengan lebih mudah dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Adherence learning at TPA Al-Firdaus still uses conventional methods that are less interesting for students. The low motivation of students encourages the need for technology-based innovation. This service aims to implement the Open the Box game as an interactive media to improve students' understanding of the ten angels of Allah, the pillars of faith, Islam, and thoyyibah sentences. This activity was carried out on February 17-20, 2025, at 15.30-16.30 WIB and was attended by 22 students. The method used is service learning, including preparation, delivery of material with songs and games, and interactive quiz-based evaluation. Evaluation data was collected through interactive quiz results and analyzed using the percentage formula of validity and practicality to measure the student's level of understanding. The evaluation results showed that 81.8% of students answered correctly. Based on the predetermined success criteria, the 81% score is included in the “Very Good” category, which shows that using the Open the Box game effectively increases santri understanding of the material of faith. This media increases santri's understanding, engagement, memory, and cognitive and social skills. Thus, the Open the Box game is effective as an innovation in akidah learning and can be applied in other non-formal education institutions.

Abstract

Self-management teaching as an effort to overcome the phenomenon of learning loafing among students, because learning loafing refers to students' unwillingness to actively engage in the learning process, which is often caused by a lack of motivation and effective self-management. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the ways that teachers do in self-management teaching as an effort to overcome learning loafing in PAI learning. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were PAI teachers and 10 students majoring in XI TKKR. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results showed that the application of self-management teaching by teachers at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya includes time management techniques, motivation development, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. Students involved in the self-management process showed an increase in learning engagement and achievement, as well as a decrease in lazy learning behavior. From these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of self-management teaching can significantly reduce learning loafing and improve the quality of PAI learning.
