Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Kyai and Ustadz in implementing religious moderation education at Pondok Pesantren in Central Kalimantan. The study was conducted at four Pondok Pesantren in Central Kalimantan, namely Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Insan, Pondok Pesantren Hasanka, Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum, and Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin Sampit. This study is a qualitative study with an interpretive paradigm. The study was conducted from April to September 2021. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentary studies. Informants in this study were educators in Pondok Pesantren, namely Kyai, Ustadz, and teachers who teach. The data obtained were then analysed using interactive qualitative analysis techniques: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study found that there are five roles of Kyai and Ustadz in religious moderation education, namely the role of conservator, innovator, the role of transmitter, the role of a transformer, and role of organiser. Departing from these findings, it can be concluded that there is a connectivity between academic and managerial dimensions in implementing religious moderation education at Pondok Pesantren in Central Kalimantan. At this level, Kyai and Ustadz not only play a role in providing understanding and knowledge regarding religious moderation but also carry out managerial activities so that religious moderation education can be carried out and be successful.Keywords:

Abstract

This research is qualitative with the research subjects being 3 families of the Dayak Ngaju tribe. Data collection techniques were carried out using disguised observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the values of moderation in religion in the Dayak Ngaju family such as the value of tawassuth (taking the middle way) is implied by mutual friendship during major religious celebrations; the value of tawazun (balance) by maintaining harmonious relations between family members; i'tidal values (justice) through mutual respect for one another without any discrimination between family members; the value of tasamuh (tolerance) by giving family members the freedom to embrace their beliefs; the value of musawah (equality) by always being friendly in entertaining family members, Muslim and non-Muslim guests without any discrimination; and the value of shura (deliberation) by building good communication or dialogue between family members.

Abstract

Khotmul Qur'an activity is an important activity as a sign that a santri has completed his learning. Therefore, this service was carried out with the aim of assisting Khotmul Qur'an Santri at TPA Sholawat Ummi to run solemnly through the service learning (SL) method with several stages carried out by the service team, namely 1) preparation and coordination. 2) opening of activities. 3) implementation of activities. 4) closing activities. The evaluation results prove that 1) preparation and coordination have been carried out in a planned and good manner, such as providing a comfortable and conducive place for the implementation of Khotmul Qur'an and various other preparations that have been well coordinated. 2) the opening of the activity is carried out by conveying the stages in carrying out Khotmul Qur'an activities and conveying advice to continue to be istiqomah in reading the Qur'an. 3) the implementation of activities has been carried out systematically in accordance with the stages that have been previously conveyed. 4) closing activities are carried out by reading prayers, distributing food and taking photos together to strengthen the relationship between students, ustadzah, and TPA Sholawat Ummi administrators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara membangun efikasi diri melalui intimasi pertemanan (intimate friendship). Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa PAI FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya tahun angkatan 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis data kualitatif menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya dalam membangun efika diri melalui intimate friendship dapat dilakukan dengan cara: seorang mahasiswa harus memiliki rasa kepekaan terhadap situasi emosional orang lain sehingga dalam suatu kelompok dapat saling berbagi dan menyemangati sehingga dapat membangun efikasi diri seseorang untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi, seorang mahasiswa harus menunjukkan sikap terbuka dan mampu mengambil pengalaman dari seseorang yang telah berhasil sebelumnya dari kelekatan pertemanan sehingga akan muncul persepsi bahwa ia juga dapat menyelesaikan tugas yang ada, seorang mahasiswa dapat menunjukkan sikap kesetiaan dan pengorbanan dalam pertemanan, sehingga ketika ada salah seorang teman kesulitan belajar dapat saling membentuk kerjasama untuk menyelesaikan masalah perkuliahan, seorang mahasiswa dapat menunjukkan sikap jujur agar pertemanan terhindar dari toxic friendship sehingga hubungan pertemanan didasari emosional yang positif akan membangun efikasi diri semakin meningkat..

Abstract

The high number of drug addicts who have been successfully rehabilitated in Central Kalimantan (2,982 people) in the last 7 years always relates to the role of Dayak tribal leaders. Drug abuse is a significant threat to social cohesion and the sustainability of Dayak culture. The research aimed to analyze how Dayak Ngaju customary sanctions are applied in the rehabilitation of drug addicts and their impact on preserving cultural values. The study was a qualitative approach and used in-depth interviews and participant observations to collect the data from traditional figures and Dayak communities. The findings showed that Customary Sanctions function not only as a form of punishment but also as an effective rehabilitation tool, fostering a sense of accountability and strong social bonds. The study’s implications underscore the importance of integrating local wisdom into drug abuse prevention efforts as a means to reinforce the community’s social and cultural networks. Future research is recommended to explore the long-term effectiveness of these sanctions in preventing relapse and to compare similar practices across Indigenous communities.

Abstract

Interactive learning is key to improving student engagement and understanding in class. This community service aims to guide grade 1 teachers at MIN 4 Palang Raya in creating interactive media based on Word wall using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) method. The TGT method was chosen because it is able to integrate game and competition elements that can motivate students to learn more actively and enjoyably. Community service activities include several stages, namely training in using the Word wall platform, designing interactive learning media, and implementation and evaluation in class. Teachers are given intensive assistance in utilizing various Word wall features to create various types of educational games that are relevant to the grade 1 curriculum. The results of this activity show an increase in teachers' abilities in creating and applying interactive media, as well as an increase in student participation and learning achievement in grade 1. Thus, coaching through the TGT method based on Word wall not only improves teachers' technical competence in creating interactive media, but also strengthens collaboration and innovation in the learning process in class. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out to support improving the quality of education in schools and other teachers.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam mengenalkan 20 sifat wajib Allah kepada anak-anak di TPA Syuhada Palangka Raya dengan menggunakan media audiovisual YouTube. Pendidikan agama di TPA memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk pemahaman dan karakter anak, terutama dalam mengenalkan konsep-konsep dasar Islam. Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk menarik perhatian anak-anak adalah melalui media yang interaktif dan menarik, seperti video animasi. Dalam penelitian ini, pendampingan dilakukan dengan menyajikan video tentang 20 sifat wajib Allah yang di sesuaikan dengan usia dan tingkat pemahaman anak-anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak terhadap sifat-sifat wajib Allah secara signifikan. Selain itu, metode ini juga membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan, karena anak-anak lebih mudah tertarik dengan visual dan suara yang mendukung materi pembelajaran. Dengan pendampingan yang dilakukan, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama di TPA Syuhada Palangka Raya dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan spiritual anak-anak.

Abstract

Di era digital, penggunaan media sosial sudah lazim di kalangan siswa untuk berbagai aktivitas komunikasi, interaksi sosial, dan memperluas wawasan. Namun, maraknya konten kekerasan dan tidak pantas di media sosial berdampak negatif terhadap perilaku siswa. Perundungan (bullying), sebagai salah satu masalah pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh perilaku negatif di kalangan siswa, harus diantisipasi dan dicegah agar tidak semakin meluas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam upaya guru dalam proses pencegahan perundungan (bullying) di SDN 4 Bukit Tunggal Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam proses pencegahan perundungan (bullying) di kalangan siswa meliputi upaya preventif, upaya edukatif, upaya kuratif (penyelesaian/penyembuhan), dan upaya preservatif (pemeliharaan). Upaya-upaya tersebut bertujuan untuk mencegah perilaku perundungan (bullying) di kalangan siswa dan menumbuhkan serta memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter positif pada diri siswa agar dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: guru, upaya pencegahan, bullying Di era digital, penggunaan media sosial merupakan hal yang umum dilakukan oleh peserta didik untuk berbagai aktivitas komunikasi, interaksi sosial, dan menambah wawasan. Namun, maraknya konten kekerasan dan konten-konten yang kurang pantas ditampilkan di media sosial berdampak negatif terhadap perilaku peserta didik. Bullying sebagai salah satu permasalahan belajar yang disebabkan oleh perilaku negatif pada peserta didik, harus diantisipasi dan dicegah pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam terkait upaya guru dalam proses pencegahan bullying di SDN 4 Bukit Tunggal Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam proses pencegahan bullying pada peserta didik meliputi upaya preventif (pencegahan), upaya pendidikan (pendidikan), upaya kuratif (penyelesaian/penyembuhan), dan upaya preservatif (pemeliharaan). Upaya-upaya tersebut bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya perilaku bullying pada peserta didik, menumbuhkan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter positif pada peserta didik agar dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram have become key platforms for digital da’wah, particularly in reaching younger audiences. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis of ten purposively selected popular videos. The analysis focused on themes, rhetoric, visualaudio elements, and audience responses. The findings reveal unique characteristics of each platform. YouTube is marked by long, systematic, and argumentative sermons that enable deeper understanding. TikTok emphasizes short, concise, emotional, and viral content, making it effective for audiences with limited attention spans. Instagram highlights visual aesthetics and reflective messages, supported by interactive features such as comments and Q&A. These patterns illustrate the need for adaptive communication strategies aligned with algorithms and media consumption habits. The notion of “digital jihad” is interpreted as a non-physical struggle to spread Islamic values online while prioritizing ethics, substance, and engagement. Digital da’wah thus serves not only as religious communication but also as cultural activism that strengthens Islamic identity among youth in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the teacher's social contribution in shaping students' character. Social competence possessed by a teacher here is very important, because if a teacher is able to apply these social competencies, especially in the school environment and students, then directly a teacher has instilled and nurtured students to have better character. With regard to the social competence of Islamic Education teachers in shaping the character of students in schools, Islamic education teachers to have social competence in approaching their students, teachers must of course pay attention to how to communicate and interact with students and must set a good example for students who have good character less can be formed with the approach already owned by islamic education teachers.
