Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on students of Islamic Religious Education subjects by using comic media for friends of Muslim children at SDN Gondang in grades V and grade VI. This research approach uses an experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. In this design there is a pre-test, before being treated with comic media and a post-test after being given treatment with comic media. The test instrument used is multiple choice questions that have been tested for validity. The sample in this study was class V as the control class and class VI as the experimental class with a total population of 72 students. Muslim children's friend comics contain stories of good morals in everyday life which are packed with children's daily stories with various interesting pictures and stories. The results showed that there was an influence on students' learning motivation for the pretest experiment and posttest experiment after being given comic media for Muslim children's friends in class VI SDN Gondang on the subject of Islamic Religious Education. This is based on the results of hypothesis testing in the pretest of the experimental class and the posttest of the experimental class showing significant results obtained by the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.007 > 0.05. And the acquisition of tcount > ttable for the experimental class is 2.887 > 1.688, which means that H0 is rejected and Hа is accepted.

Abstract

This work studies the utilization of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) for assisting radiofrequency (RF)-based wireless power transfer (WPT) in the Internet of Things (IoT) system. The RIS device in this system is utilized to provide the line of sight (LOS) path when an obstacle blocks the direct power transmission from the transmitter to the receiver. This work presents a comprehensive modeling of the RIS-assisted RF WPT for IoT systems, which includes the spatial model, the RIS-assisted RF WPT model, and the total receiver power model. The performance of RIS-assisted RF WPT is evaluated by simulation matched to the IoT system. In all simulation tests, the obstacle is located between the transmission and the receiver, eliminating direct power transfer. By simulation, it has been verified that the RIS device can assist the RF WPT in the IoT system. The receiver can achieve 0,4714% power transfer efficiency at a distance of 1 meter from the RIS device. Meanwhile, 0,0290% power transfer efficiency is achieved within a 15-meter distance from the RIS device. Furthermore, the performance of RIS-assisted RF WPT with various numbers of unit cells in the RF WPT system is investigated. It has been found that increasing the number of unit cells in RF WPT after a certain number is ineffective for the RF WPT in an IoT system

Abstract

Background The phenomenon of character degradation of students at various levels is a serious challenge for the world of education today. Advances in technology and information, as well as changes in social values, often cause negative behavior that affects the development of their character. Purpose This study aims to explore in depth the management of students in improving children's character education. Design/method/approach The method used in this study is a literature review, by reviewing various relevant academic sources, such as books, journal articles, and education policy documents. Results The results of the study show that planned and systematic student management, including behavioral supervision, counseling guidance, the formation of a conducive learning environment, and the involvement of parents and the community, contribute significantly to the formation of children's character. A collaborative approach between teachers, parents, and the social environment has also been shown to strengthen character values such as responsibility, discipline, and tolerance. Contribution/value The implications of this study indicate that character education is not only the responsibility of individual educators, but also requires systemic support from the entire education ecosystem. The implementation of holistic student management-based policies is expected to produce a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has a strong character.

Abstract

Dalam merumuskan peranan dan fungsi Islam yang sepenuhnya terhadap orientasi hukum Hukum Islam memiliki peranan penting dalam mengatasi masalah sosial kontemporer, Sebagai pedoman hidup umat Islam, hukum ini memberikan panduan yang sesuai untuk menyelesaikan berbagai isu sosial yang muncul dalam masyarakat modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kontribusi hukum Islam dalam memberikan solusi terhadap tantangan sosial yang dihadapi masyarakat modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, yang menganalisis sumber-sumber hukum Islam seperti Al-Qur'an, Hadis, dan hasil ijtihad ulama, serta penerapannya dalam berbagai isu sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hukum Islam, dengan prinsip-prinsip dasar seperti keadilan, kemaslahatan umum, dan penghindaran kerusakan, memiliki potensi besar untuk menyelesaikan masalah sosial melalui instrumen seperti zakat, infak, dan sedekah. Namun, tantangan dalam penerapan hukum Islam muncul karena perbedaan penafsiran teks agama dan perbedaan antara hukum Islam dan sistem hukum di negara-negara multikultural.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics of strontium-based on ferrite natural iron sand doped with Co and Zn ions as an electric generator driver. Iron sand contains minerals such as magnetite (Fe3O4), hematite (α-Fe2O4), and maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) which can be used to making permanent magnets. The method used is coprecipitation to produce nano-sized magnetite minerals which are used as a basic material in permanent magnets production. In order to increase the magnetic and electrical properties, Co and Zn doping is added with several concentrations (x = 0.0; 0.5; 1.0). The final result is a sample powder that has been heated at a temperature of 80 ˚C for 24 hours. More higher the calcination temperature used, made more darker result sample color. The FT-IR test results show the presence of O-H, Sr-O, Co-O, Zn-O, and Fe-O compounds at certain wavelengths ranging from 400-690 cm-1.

Abstract

Masa dewasa awal merupakan periode perkembangan yang mencakup rentang usia 18 hingga 40 tahun, merupakan periode perkembangan penting di mana individu mulai menyesuaikan diri dengan pola kehidupan baru dan harapan sosial yang berubah. Pada tahap ini, dewasa awal dihadapkan pada tugas perkembangan, salah satunya adalah bergabung dengan kelompok atau komunitas yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dirinya, dengan menjadi bagian dari Komunitas Pecinta Kucing Jember (KPKJ). Keberhasilan dalam melaksanakan tugas perkembangan membawa kepuasan, sukses, dan happiness, sebaliknya kegagalan dalam mengeksekusi tugas perkembangan mengakibatkan ketidakbahagiaan dan mengganggu perkembangan di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara pet attachment dan happiness pada dewasa awal yang memelihara kucing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online menggunakan Google Form. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 100 anggota KPKJ yang sesuai dengan perhitungan rumus Lemeshow. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah PERMA-Profiler (15 item, α = 0,9) dan LAPS (23 item, α = 0,93). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pet attachment dan happiness pada dewasa awal yang memelihara kucing, dengan nilai korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,247 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,013 (<0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat keterikatan individu dengan hewan peliharaannya, semakin tinggi pula tingkat happiness yang dirasakannya.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Infection by Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is associated with treatment failure, prolonged hospital stay, increased costs and patient mortality. The factors of infection by ESBL-producing bacteria are important to figure out so that prevention and control efforts can be made. The aim of the study is to understand the risk factors associated with ESBL-producing bacteria infections in ICU of Jogja Hospital. METHOD This retrospective case control study included ICU’s patients who have an infection with confirmed E. coli or K. pneumoniae based on microbiological examination from January-December 2023. The patient’s data were obtained from the medical record to find the risks factors. Cases were defined as E. coli or K. pneumoniae ESBL, while controls were defined as non ESBL E. coli or K. pneumoniae. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. Bivariate analysis was carried out on independent variables (sex, age, length of hospitalization, comorbidity, cephalosporin usage, duration of antibiotic, utilization of urinary catheter and central venous catheter, exposure to mechanical ventilation, and presence of open wounds). Risk factors with P values <0.25 on bivariate analysis were included in multivariate logistic regression analysis. Two-sided P values less than 0,05 were considered statistically significant. RESULT Based our findings, there were 30 patients with ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae (cases) and 32 patients with non ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae (controls). P value <0.05 is the presence of open wounds. Based on multivariate analysis in table 3, the presence of open wounds has statistical significance, OR 6.52 (IK 95% p = 0.011). CONCLUSION The presence of open wounds is associated with the occurrence ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae infection in ICU of Jogja Hospital.

Abstract

Background: The problem of bullying in Indonesia continues to increase every year, with 226 cases recorded in 2022. Bullying is a crime committed by a stronger person against a weaker person. The impact of bullying on victims, such as trauma, fear, seeking escape, declining academic achievement. The impact on the perpetrators, namely when adults can become criminals. Objective: To determine the relationship between permissive parenting patterns and bullying behaviour in children at SD Negeri (state elementary school) Jetis 1 Yogyakarta. Method: Quantitative research type with correlative design and cross-sectional time approach were performed in this study. The number of respondents was 96 children taken using total sample technique. The instruments used were permissive parenting questionnaire and bullying behaviour questionnaire that had been declared valid and reliable. The data were analysed using Spearman Rank test. Results: The results of the study showed that permissive parenting patterns were mostly in the moderate category of 66 children (68.8%) and bullying behaviour was mostly in the moderate category of 50 children (52.1%). The results of the Spearman Rank statistical test analysis showed that there was a relationship between permissive parenting patterns and bullying behaviour in children at SD Negeri Jetis 1, Yogyakarta with a p value of 0.001 (p <0.05) and a correlation coefficient value of -0.337. Conclusion and suggestion: There is a relationship between permissive parenting patterns and bullying behaviour in children at SD Negeri Jetis 1 Yogyakarta. The relationship is weak, namely -0.337 (0.20-0.399). The direction of the negative correlation means that the higher the permissive parenting pattern, the lower the bullying behaviour, and vice versa, the lower the permissive parenting pattern, the higher the bullying behaviour. Parents should provide a more democratic parenting pattern so that children avoid bullying behaviour.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia Daerah (KPAID) dalam upaya Kabupaten Cirebon memenuhi hak-hak anak yang bermasalah dengan hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ketua dan Komisiner yang ada di Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia Daerah (KPAID) Kabupaten Cirebon. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang dlakukan dengan reduksi data dan penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa di antara berbagai upaya untuk memenuhi hak ABH (Anak Berhadapan dengan Hukum). KPAID telah memberikan peran-peran seperti fasilitator, broker, enabler, dan educator. Upaya-upaya ini juga telah menghasilkan peran-peran seperti pendampingan hukum dan pendampingan psikolog, koordinasi dengan pihak terkait dan sosialisasi.

Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea has a high impact on women's lives, resulting in restrictions on daily activities, lower academic achievement in adolescents, and poor sleep quality, as well as causing anxiety and depression . .Objective : This study aims to determine the effect of lemon aromatherapy on female students who experience dysmenorrhea. .Method: This study uses the Pre Experiment method. One Group Pretest – Posttest. Sampling using Accidental sampling technique with a sample of some female students of class X SMAN 1 Montong who experienced dysmenorrhea as many as 16 students a. The independent variable is lemon aromatherapy, the dependent variable is menstrual pain ( dysmenorrhea ). The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Test statistical test. .Result: Result study Respondent Which experiencing dysmenorrhea, before being given lemon aromatherapy, some big 10 (62.4%) face Moderate dysmenorrhea and after given aromatherapy, part big 13 (81.3%) face dysmenorrhea light. Results test Wilcoxon with significance level α=<0.05 is proven to reduce dysmenorrhea with a value of ???? = 0.000<0.05 which means H 1 accepted so that there is an effect of giving lemon aromatherapy to overcome menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in female students of class X SMAN 1 Montong (Montong District, Tuban Regency). ,Conclusion: The conclusion of this study it can be seen that there is the effect of lemon aromatherapy on reducing dysmenorrhea. One alternative way what students who experience dysmenorrhea can do is using aromatherapy which is practical to use, relatively inexpensive, and makes other people feel happy
