Abstract

Agricultural land is always reduced due to the transfer of functions that continue to occur at any time. The solution to overcome this problem is to apply hydroponic agricultural cultivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of variations of cross-sectional shape that to suitable for the growth of red spinach (Amarantus tricolor L.) on the hydroponic NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system. The research parameters observed were cross-sectional area, velocity and flowrate, plant height, and number of leaves. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the cross section of the channel that was most suitable for the growth of red spinach plants was trapezium because it had the best plant growth results compared to the semicircular and rectangular cross section. The results of this study need to be disseminated so that farmers can apply the hydroponic method of the NFT system to produce red spinach that is suitable for consumption.

Abstract

Bright colors are one of the main attractions of ornamental fish. The brighter the color of the ornamental fish, the higher the value. However, during the maintenance of ornamental fish, the color often becomes dull, the quality of the color decreases so that the ornamental fish is no longer attractive. Therefore, the color must be increased by one of the efforts by providing feed containing certain pigments. One of the efforts made to get evenly bright colors in the fish is feeding carotene sources and supplements. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding carrot flour to commercial feed on the brightness level of Betta fish (Betta sp.). The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Water Quality and Aquatic Biology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Tadulako University from August-September 2020. The experimental design used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A = without carrot flour, B = 48g, C = 50g D = 52g, E = 54g. The results obtained were that the addition of 54g carrot flour gave color enhancement to betta fish with an average score of 7,1.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to measure the dissolution rate constant of passion fruit effervescent tablet during storage at temperature and relative humidity variations. Sample of passion fruit effervescent tablet prepared from passion fruit granular, aspartame, polyethylene glycol, citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate.The result showed and the dissolution rate constant increased with the increasing of temperature. At elevated RH as well. The amount of dissolution rate constant was is 0.0138 with coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.7337. This calculation suggested that the proposed mathematics models might be applicable to shelf life prediction of effervescent tablet.Key words: temperature, humidity, effervescent tablet

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap performance guru. (2) pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap performance guru. (3) pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap performance guru. (4) pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap iklim kerja. (5) pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap iklim kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Perilaku kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap performance guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (2) Budaya kerja berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap performance guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (3) Iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap performance guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (4) Perilaku kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap iklim kerja SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (5) Budaya kerja berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap iklim kerja SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pohuwato.

Abstract

This study examines the interactive multimedia-based learning of students in higher education. The method used in this research study is library research. The procedure of this research using the stages of library research include; (1) selecting study topics, (2) exploring information, (3) formulating the focus of writing, (4) collecting data sources, (5) preparing data presentations, and (6) compiling reports in the form of research journal descriptions. This research data collection technique relies on documentation sources by exploring sources related to the focus of the problem being studied. data analysis technique uses content analysis to obtain the substance from appropriate and verifiable references based on the source through the stages of sorting and comparing various definitions and opinions from existing literature sources to achieve the suitability of relevant sources.The results of the analysis of this study can be concluded that; First, learning is an important process that greatly determines behavior change and improvement. In the context of higher education learning, lecturers are required to be more adaptive to various learning tools or media. Learning in higher education will be more interesting by using learning media. Second, learning media plays a very effective role. One type of this media is interactive multimedia whose contents combine various forms of media such as text, audio, and video to make it easier for students to use it in learning. Lecturers must be more innovative in using this interactive multimedia and must be skilled at technological developments.

Abstract

This study discusses difficulties in learning Arabic and aims to determine the forms of difficulties in learning Arabic for grade IX students, and efforts to overcome learning difficulties in Arabic subjects at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Makassar. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. The determination of the research subjects was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 10 informants. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that there were forms of difficulty in learning Arabic for grade IX students at SMP IT Insan Cendekia Makassar, namely internal and external factors, internal factors consisted of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. the student, then the external factors consist of the family environment and the school environment, efforts to overcome the difficulties of the Arabic language made by teachers and students by applying the vocabulary method and using textbooks or dictionaries.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) secara simultan maupun parsial mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan pada pemerintah kota Makassar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Data yang digunakan adalah laporan APBD dan Laporan Realisasi APBD kota di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dari tahun 2011-2016. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif, dengan model regresi berganda. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan cara purposive sampling, artinya setiap elemen populasi mempunyai kemungkinan yang sama untuk dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan yang telah dikemukakan bahwa Pajak Daerah, Retribusi daerah, Penghasilan perusahaan dan Lain-lain pendapatan daerah yang sah merupakan komponen pendapatan Asli daerah yang mempengaruhi Kinerja keuangan pemerintah kota Makassar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, akan tetapi secara parsial Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan pemerintah Kota Makassar. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan Mengenai Pengaruh Pendapatan Asli daerah (PAD) Kota Makassar terhadap kinerja keuangan Pemerintah Kota Makassar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) yang secara simultan atau pun parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan pada pemerintah kota Makassar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kata Kunci : Pendapatan Asli Daerah, Kinerja Keuangan. ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to find out how the local revenue (PAD) simultaneously and partially influence the financial performance of the government Makassar city South Sulawesi province. The data used were the APBD report and the APBD realization report of the city in the South Sulawesi province from 2011-2016. The analysis method used is quantitative analysis with multiple regression models. The sampling in this research using technique of non-probability sampling by purposive sampling means that each population element has same possibility to be sampled. but partially the land tax and dominant building influence the financial performance of the government Makassar city. The research result shows that local revenue (PAD) simultaneously has influence on financial performance, but partially only the earth and building taxes that dominantly influence financial performance, while local tax, user charges, company result and local wealth are not dominantly influence the financial performance on the government of Makassar city South Sulawesi. Based on research result and the discussion of the influence local revenue (PAD) Makassar city to the financial performance Makassar city South Sulawesi, can be concluded that local revenue (PAD) simultaneously or partially influence to the financial performance on government of Makassar city South Sulawesi Province. Keywords: Local Revenue, Financial Performance

Abstract

Abstract This research aims: 1) Compensation Effect partially on employee motivation; 2) Effect of Work Environment partially on employee motivation; 3) Effect of Compensation and Working Environment simultaneously towards employee motivation . The research was conducted at the Department of Revenue, Support of Finance, and Asset Soppeng Regency. The population in this study were all employees in the Department of Revenue, Support of Finance and Asset Soppeng with 142 employees. A technique of determining the number of samples in this study is based on a formula slovin thus obtained a sample of 59 employees. Analysis of the data in this study using multiple linear regression. The study concluded that: 1) Compensation partially has positive and significant impact on employee motivation; 2) The working environment is partially has positive and significant impact on employee motivation. 3) Compensation and Working Environment simultaneously have positive and significant impact on employee motivation. Abstract

This research was aimed to study optimization of processing technique of fruit juice effervescent tablet with Response Surface Method (RSM). The research design used was central composite designs with three dependent variables including X1 (compression force), X2 (the citric acid concentration), and X3 (the sodium bicarbonate concentration), where independent variables was hardness and solubility of the tablet. The results of the research showed that the optimum tablets hardness was 40.53 N that reached at treatment compression force of 2339.8 N; the citric acid concentration of 352.82 mg/gr; and the sodium bicarbonate concentration of 561.62 mg/gr. Whereas the solubilitation of 41.99 second was resulted at treatment compression force of 1417.6 N; 334.24 mg/unit weight citric acid; and 593.90 mg/gr sodium bicarbonate. To get tablet characteristic with high hardness but solubilize quickly, was made at 1500 N compression force; the citric acid concentration 350  mg/gr; and the sodium bicarbonate concentration 500 mg/gr.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan kajian penelusuran publikasi Karya Kulis Ilmiah (KTI) Peneliti Balai Penelitian dan Pengembangan Budidaya Air Payau (BPPBAP) yang terindeks pada pangkalan data Winisis atau CDS/ISIS (Computerised Dokumentation System/Integrated Sets of Information System) versi Windows. Kajian ini dilakukan pada bulan September - Oktober 2014 dengan cara menelusuri data yang terinput dalam database Winisis melalui kata kunci BPPBAP. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perkembangan publikasi yang dihasilkan oleh peneliti BPPBAP berdasarkan tahun, penulis, area subyek dan media publikasi. Data yang terkumpul dipisahkan berdasarkan tahun terbitan, nama peneliti, media publikasi dan subyek, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kajian selama 14 tahun mulai tahun 1999 sampai dengan 2012 menunjukkan bahwa: a). Publikasi KTI BPPBAP meningkat setiap tahunnya dalam 5 tahun terakhir, yaitu tahun 2012 (16,88%), 2011 (14,03%), 2009 (12,60%), 2010 (12,52%), dan 2008 (9,43%). b). Peneliti BPPBAP yang paling produktif adalah Gunarto (44), Arifuddin Tompo (41), Machluddin Amin (38), Brata Pantjara (36), Nur Ansari Rangka (34), Utojo (33), Suwardi Tahe (31), Erfan Andi Hendrajad (31), Muliani (31) dan Mudian Paena (30). c). Tipe publikasi Karya Tulis Ilmiah BPPBAP berdasarkan media publikasi yang paling banyak dimuat: Prosiding (870), Jurnal Riset Akuakultur (94), Jurnal Penelitian Perikanan Indonesia (57), Buku (44) dan Media Akuakultur (37). d). Berdasarkan subyek karya tulis ilmiah yang paling banyak diteliti yaitu: udang windu kemudian rumput laut, pakan, udang vaname dan probiotik.The distribution of Scientific Papers of researchers at the Research and Development Station of Brackish Water Aquaculture (BPPBAP) that are indexed in Windows version database, Winisis or CDS/ISIS (Computerised Documentation System/Integrated Sets of Information System) has been studied. The study conducted during September – October 2014 searched for data inputted in Winisis database through the keyword BPPBAP. This study aims to understand the extent of publication development of the researchers at BPPBAP based on year of publication, author, subject area and medium of publication, which were then analyzed descriptively. The 14 - year study beginning in 1999 to 2012 concludes that: a) scientific papers publication of BPPBAP shows annual increase for the past 5 years, specifi cally the year 2012 (16,88%), 2011 (14,03%), 2009 (12,60%), 2010 (12,52%) and 2008 (9,43%). b) some of the most prolific authors at BPPBAP are Gunarto (44), Arifuddin Tompo (41), Machluddin Amin (38), Brata Pantjara (36), Nur Ansari Rangka (34), Utojo (33), Suwardi Tahe (31), Erfan Andi Hendrajad (31), Muliani (31) and Mudian Paena (30). c) Type of scientific papers publication based on the medium used: Proceedings (870), Aquaculture Research Journal (94), Indonesian Fisheries Research Journal (57), Books (44) and Media Akukultur (37). d) the most researched subjects are: tiger shrimp, seaweed, fish feed, vaname shrimp and probiotic.
