Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kebijakan pendekatan proses dengan model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif buku fiksi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian 19 siswa kelas VIII MTs Sabielil Muttaqien. Pada pertemuan pertama kegiatan membaca intensif 3 buku fiksi cerita yang sama dengan durasi maksimal 10 menit telah tercapai padahal durasi waktu membaca intensif banyak siswa yang mencapai batas waktu maksimal yang telah ditentukan. Pada pertemuan II dengan cerita yang berbeda, jumlah lembar yang sama dengan pertemuan I yaitu 3 lembar, dan durasi waktu yang berbeda dengan pertemuan I yaitu maksimal 8 menit dapat dicapai dengan durasi waktu yang lebih lama dibandingkan pertemuan I. Pada pertemuan III dengan cerita yang berbeda dengan pertemuan II, jumlah lembar lebih banyak dibandingkan pertemuan II yaitu 5 lembar, dan durasi waktu yang sama dengan pertemuan II yaitu maksimal 8 menit yang dapat dicapai dengan peningkatan durasi waktu bahkan dengan lebih banyak lembar cerita. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca intensif siswa semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap individu, karena membaca dapat meningkatkan wawasan berpikir dan memperluas pengetahuan. Meskipun membaca merupakan hal yang sangat esensial dalam kehidupan, tetapi kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan hal lain. Kemampuan membaca siswa sekolah dasar memiliki kecenderungan rendah. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Pembelajaran Inovatif Dalam Mengembangkan Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan mengkaji berbagai buku, jurnal-jurnal dan majalah yang relevan dengan topic yang di bahas. Analisis data dari hasil pengakajian jurnal-jurnal hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif mulai dari Reduksi data, Display Data, Penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah jurnal hasil penelitian terdahulu baik jurnal nasional maupun jurnal internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran inovatif sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa, baik kemampuan membaca permulaan maupun membaca lancar. Adapun pembelajaran inovatif yang sudah terbukti efektif seperti metode multisensory, Reciprocal teaching, Blended learning, CTL, Macromedia flash, Media kartu kata, CIRC, Media komik/Cerita Bergambar, Jigsaw, Multimedia interaktif, SQ3R, TPS, TGT, Strategi AMBT, script, Metode mind mapping dan Metode scramble.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of learning interest, learning independence, and learning creativity to the reading literacy skills of class IV students at SD Cluster III, Buleleng District. This research is an ex-post facto research with a Correlation Study Survey design. The population of this study was all students in class IV of SD Cluster III, Buleleng District, totaling 394 students. Meanwhile, the sample for this research was 196. The independent variables in this research were students' interest in learning, learning independence, and students' learning creativity, while the dependent variable was students' reading literacy skills. Data on learning interest and learning independence were collected using a questionnaire. Data on students' learning creativity was collected using tests, while data on students' reading literacy skills was collected by studying documents owned by teachers at school. The data analysis methods used in this research are quantitative descriptive analysis methods, simple regression analysis, multiple regression and partial correlation. Based on the research that has been conducted, it is concluded that: 1) there is a significant contribution of interest in learning to students' reading literacy skills with a contribution of 42.1% and an effective contribution of 20.7%. 2) there is a significant contribution of independent learning to students' reading literacy skills with a contribution of 44.4% and an effective contribution of 18.5%. 3) there is a significant contribution of learning creativity to students' reading literacy skills with a contribution of 44.1% and an effective contribution of 17%. And 4) simultaneously, there is a significant contribution of learning interest, learning independence, and learning creativity to students' reading literacy skills with a contribution of 56.2%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Gugus Dewi Sartika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 202 siswa. Sampel dipilih secara random, untuk memilih kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen perlakuan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dan kelompok kontrol diberikan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan angket menggunakan skala Likert dan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Uji hipotesis I dan II menganalisis hasil gain skor ternormalisasi dan memberikan hasil sebagai berikut, 1) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (metode ceramah) pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Dewi Sartika Denpasar Timur. 2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (metode ceramah) pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Dewi Sartika Denpasar Timur. Hipotesis III menggunakan analisis Manova Secara simultan terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (metode ceramah) pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Dewi Sartika Denpasar Timur

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the ASSURE Model in designing Indonesian and regional language learning. This concerns designing Indonesian language learning that is effective, innovative, and comprehensive. It is hoped that the results of this research can expand the body of knowledge about the role of the ASSURE model in designing language learning, namely Indonesian and regional. The implementation of this research is based on the use of a method as an operational basis. Related to this are (1) a research design using qualitative descriptive, (2) types of research data related to research subjects and objects, (3) data collection methods using library study methods with research instruments in the form of written sources, and (4) data analysis methods such as data reduction, classification, description, and conclusion. data. The results of the research show that the role of the ASSURE model in designing Indonesian and regional language learning includes aspects (1) of conception, namely cognition and integrity of the model. In line with that, (2) relevance concerns the contribution of the ASSURE model in designing meaningful and sustainable Indonesian and regional language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students’ understanding of rights and responsibilities as citizens at SDN 1 Manikyang. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which was taught using the PBL model, and the control class, which was taught using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests. The research findings indicate a significant improvement in the experimental class after implementing the PBL model. The average pretest score of the experimental class was 68.42, which increased to 79.19 in the posttest. In contrast, the control class had an average pretest score of 67.2, which slightly declined to 65.7 in the posttest. Statistical analysis confirmed that the difference in understanding improvement between the two classes was significant, demonstrating the effectiveness of the PBL model in enhancing students' comprehension of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. This improvement can be attributed to the active learning characteristics of the PBL model, which encourages students to think critically, engage in discussions, and seek solutions to real-life problems. Thus, problem-based learning can be an effective alternative instructional strategy for improving students’ understanding of Civic Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing Virtual Reality (VR) technology in teaching Indonesian language to fifth-grade elementary school students. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the research involved two groups: an experimental group using VR-based learning media and a control group employing conventional teaching methods. Data collection instruments included reading comprehension tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and student engagement observations. The results indicated that the use of VR significantly enhanced students' understanding of Indonesian language materials, particularly in reading comprehension and creative writing. Moreover, there was a notable increase in students' motivation and engagement during the learning process. These findings align with previous research demonstrating that VR media can boost student interest and learning outcomes. However, implementing VR technology also presents challenges, such as the need for adequate infrastructure and teacher training. Therefore, integrating VR into Indonesian language instruction at the elementary level holds considerable potential for improving educational quality, provided that sufficient facilities and resources are available..

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating video media into Indonesian language instruction to enhance the listening skills of elementary school students. Employing a classroom action research methodology, the study was conducted over two cycles with fourth-grade students at SD 12 Dauh puri. Each cycle encompassed planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data collection methods included listening comprehension tests, classroom observations, and student interviews. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' listening abilities, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria increasing from 70% in the first cycle to 90% in the second cycle. Additionally, students exhibited heightened engagement and enthusiasm during lessons incorporating video media. These results suggest that the strategic use of video media is an effective approach to bolster listening skills in Indonesian language learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing interactive technology-based learning media to enhance elementary students' interest in learning Bahasa Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the low interest of students in Bahasa Indonesia lessons, often caused by conventional teaching methods that are less engaging. By leveraging technology, the learning process is expected to become more interactive and enjoyable for students. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study are fourth-grade students at S SD 12 Dauh Puri. The interactive learning media used include animations and educational applications such as Wordwall. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results indicate that the use of interactive technology-based learning media can increase students' interest in learning. This is evidenced by an 80% increase in students' learning interest after the implementation of interactive animation media in Bahasa Indonesia lessons. Students became more enthusiastic, active, and motivated in participating in the lessons. The conclusion of this study is that integrating interactive technology-based learning media into Bahasa Indonesia instruction can enhance elementary students' interest in learning. Therefore, it is recommended that educators utilize technology as a teaching aid to create a more engaging and effective learning environment..

Abstract

The development of literary appreciation teaching materials in elementary schools is essential to enhance students’ interest and understanding of literary works and the moral values contained within. This study aims to analyze and design literary appreciation teaching materials that suit student characteristics and the current curriculum. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a systematic literature review, examining various scientific articles related to the development of children’s literary teaching materials. The results show that teaching materials integrating moral values, local wisdom, and interactive technology such as multimedia modules can improve the effectiveness of literary appreciation learning in elementary schools. In conclusion, the development of literary appreciation teaching materials based on local wisdom and multimedia is highly feasible to support character strengthening and literacy competence in students
