Abstract

Marketing mix is one of the strategies serves as a reference for sellers to influence consumers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the marketing mix on offline and online sales of martabak MSMEs in Gunung Pati and Tembalang Districts, and to determine whether there is an effect of the marketing mix on offline and online sales of martabak MSMEs in these districts. The population in this study consisted of 30 martabak MSME actors in Gunung Pati and Tembalang Districts, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing (t-test) with SPSS IBM version 25. The results showed that the marketing mix variable had a significant effect of value 31% the sales variables. Analysis showed that the indicators of product, price, and place were in the very good category, indicating that the implementation of the marketing mix was already optimal. Conversely, the promotion indicator was in the sufficient category because it had not been implemented optimally. Overall, offline sales were more stable compared to online sales.

Abstract

Background: Median Rhomboid Glossitis (MRG) is included in the group of nodular-plaque-like candidiasis, a subtype of chronic hyperplastic candidiasis. A lot of literature suggests that MRG is a manifestation of Diabetes Mellitus (DM), but the association between DM and MRG is unclear until now. This article reports an MRG found in an undiagnosed diabetes mellitus patient. Case: In October 2019, A 71-year-old man came to RSGM Universitas Jember to fix his loose denture. In the oral examination, we found a well-bordering, atrophic oval area surrounded by thick- soft white plaque. In his leg, we found itchy papule, ulcer, and crust multiple lesions. The microscopic examination of the white plaque swab showed that the spore and hyphae were found to fill all fields of view. The direct sugar blood level test showed that the sugar blood level was 390 mg/dL. We diagnosed the patient as having an MRG associated with suspected DM. Case Management: The patient was given miconazole oral gel and recommended to use it after cleaning the tongue three times a day. For diabetes management, the patient was referred to the Unit Medical Center University of Jember. The patient was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and given oral-antidiabetics. After two weeks, the atrophic area had improved, and the white plaque had disappeared. Conclusion: General practitioners must be aware if they find the MRG in their patients caused a probability of underlying undiagnosed systemic disease, particularly diabetes mellitus on them.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of UNNES Lantip learning outcomes on the pedagogical competence of Culinary Education students at UNNES class of 2021. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study includes all 2021 students who participated in the UNNES Lantip program, with a total sample of 75 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a pedagogical competence questionnaire using a Likert scale and documentation of the final Lantip scores. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS 25. The results show a positive and significant effect of UNNES Lantip learning outcomes on students' pedagogical competence, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.621. This means that 62.1% of the variation in pedagogical competence can be explained by the UNNES Lantip learning outcomes. These findings indicate that students who achieve high learning outcomes in the Lantip program tend to have better pedagogical abilities, particularly in lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, and student potential development. Therefore, the UNNES Lantip learning outcomes can be said to significantly contribute to shaping the pedagogical competence of students as future professional teachers..

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of periodontal disease ranks second in dental and oral diseases after caries. Periodontitis is inflammation with bacteria infecting the host and involving all parts of the periodontal tissue. If this condition is left untreated, it can lead to fibrosis and irreversible damage. Various types of periodontitis therapy have not been able to provide optimal results in healing periodontitis and that therapy can cause side effects. Because of this background, the researchers wanted to carry out research on alternative treatments for periodontitis with purple leaves as an anti-inflammatory with an indicator of an increase in the number of fibroblast cells in inflamed areas. The use of purple leaves has been used since ancient times for the treatment of wounds and inflammation. Objective: To determine the effect of purple leaf extract (EDU) on increasing the number of fibroblast cells in the gingiva of Wistar rats infected by Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg). Methods: 30 Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups, namely the normal group (KN), the control group Pg induced (K +) and the treatment group using EDU 2.5% (P1), EDU5% (P2), EDU10% (P3 ). All groups were induced by Pg except KN. EDU administration once a day for 7 days. On the 7th day the rats were decaputed and their gingivae were taken to make preparations and HE staining was carried out. Results readings in 3 different viewpoints were averaged and analyzed by one-way ANOVA. Results: The results showed that the K + group, 2.5% EDU, 5% EDU and 10% EDU groups increased the number of fibroblast significantly when compared to the Pg group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: EDU can increase the number of fibroblasts in Pg-induced mice

Abstract

This study develops an integrated system dynamics and probabilistic Monte Carlo simulation framework to evaluate Indonesia’s Petroleum Buffer Reserve (PBR) strategy in alignment with Perpres 96/2024 and the nation’s broader energy security agenda. Monte Carlo simulation results reveal that only the scenario characterized by full import availability is capable of achieving the mandated 10.17-million-barrel reserve target, while all other scenarios consistently fail to accumulate sufficient stock under uncertainty. The probabilistic analysis further shows that this scenario yields a probability exceeding 98% of meeting or surpassing the target, in contrast to the near-zero success rates observed under restricted import conditions. Days-of-cover optimization highlights an additional strategic vulnerability: the current PBR target corresponds to only about 12 days of crude import protection. Building on the system’s dynamic behavior, this study recommends a minimum reserve target of 30 days as an immediately achievable benchmark. A 60-day reserve is identified as a feasible medium-term objective, provided that replenishment rates and storage capacity are enhanced. Achieving a 90-day reserve, consistent with international strategic stockpiling standards, would require substantial investment and diversification of supply sources. These findings underscore Indonesia’s structural dependence on imported crude oil and emphasize the need for assertive replenishment policies to strengthen national energy resilience

Abstract

Algorithmic trading systems operate in highly dynamic and uncertain environments where learning-based decision agents must balance adaptability with strict risk control. Reinforcement learning (RL) methods provide adaptive policy optimization but often suffer from unstable exploration and limited interpretability in financial markets. This study proposes a risk-constrained SARSA–FIS hybrid decision architecture with adaptive exploration control for algorithmic trading. The framework integrates a compact SARSA-based reinforcement learning environment with a Sugeno-type fuzzy inference system (FIS) that converts reinforcement signals into interpretable trading decisions. Exploration follows a decaying ε-greedy policy with a drawdown-triggered reset mechanism to maintain bounded risk exposure during learning. The system was implemented as a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor and evaluated on the GBPUSD currency pair using historical market data. Experimental results show that the hybrid framework improves trading performance compared with a rule-based baseline. During a six-month out-of-sample evaluation, the system achieved a net profit of 90 USD and a profit factor of 1.35, compared with 10 USD and 1.02 for the baseline. Extended one-year testing confirmed stable profitability and controlled drawdown behavior. The results demonstrate that integrating reinforcement learning, fuzzy decision mapping, and explicit risk constraints provides a practical approach for developing adaptive trading agents.

Abstract

The  use  of  artificial  intelligence  can  increase  productivity  and efficiency in various sectors of life. However, it can also potentially cause legal problems especially criminal law if they result in losses. The subject of law in determining who should be responsible is a separate issue. This research examines whether technology using artificial intelligence can be used as the subject of criminal law so that criminal responsibility can be held. This research is normative juridical research with a statutory, conceptual approach and cases related to artificial intelligence and criminal law issues. The study shows that the ability to analyze and make decisions possesed by artificial intelligence can be indicated as "malicious intent".  Yet, the  concept  of  punishment  for  the  artificial intelligence system  requires  a  unique  formula,  as  the  personality  of  artificial intelligence cannot be equated with the personality of a human or  legal  entity.  The  granting  of  legal  status  through  a  criminal sanction  mechanism  in  the  form  of  machine  deactivation, reprogramming, and the severity of destroying machines is expected to provide future solutions to minimize the risk of criminal acts by artificial intelligence.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the awareness and understanding of Indonesian migrant worker parents whose children are enrolled at the Indonesian School of Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) regarding their rights, available legal protections, and parental responsibilities in supporting their children's education abroad. The primary issue identified is the limited legal literacy among migrant workers, particularly related to mechanisms of protection, assistance, and their obligations in ensuring a conducive educational environment for their children. The program was carried out through several stages, including coordination with the school, preparation of educational materials, administration of a pre-test, delivery of the socialization session through presentations and interactive discussions, and a post-test to measure comprehension improvement. The results indicate a significant increase in participants’ understanding of migrant workers’ rights, legal protections, and their responsibilities as parents. This improvement is demonstrably reflected in the comparison between pre-test and post-test outcomes. Participants also expressed positive responses and encouraged the continuation of similar programs in the future. This PKM initiative is expected to contribute to strengthening legal literacy among Indonesian migrant workers and to reinforcing parental roles in supporting the academic success of their children overseas.

Abstract

The issue of plastic waste in urban residential areas requires a source-based management approach that goes beyond reliance on external sorting and collection, incorporating an internal processing mechanism at the community level instead. This community service initiative aimed to strengthen the community-based plastic waste management system by implementing ecobrick practices within a residential area in Depok City. A participatory socio-technical systems engineering approach was employed, involving the assessment of baseline conditions, the strengthening of source management through education on plastic sorting, the establishment of internal processing mechanisms via training, the adoption of ecobrick production procedures, and the reinforcement of community mechanisms through the engagement of a core group and the development of simple Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Eleven participants, selected based on their prior involvement in environmental activities and household waste management, took part in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests, satisfaction surveys, and observations of the implementation of the internal processing mechanism. Results showed an increase in participants' average understanding from 51.52% to 80.30%, representing a 28.78 percentage-point increase. The most significant improvement was in the understanding of ecobricks as a form of upcycling, increasing by 72.73 percentage points. All participants (100%) provided positive feedback. The initiative also led to the creation of simple SOPs and the initial implementation of internal processing, as evidenced by the production of 19 ecobricks. These findings demonstrate that ecobricking can be integrated as an internal processing function within community-based plastic waste management systems and holds potential for replication in residential areas with similar characteristics.
