Abstract

This research aims to explore relevant hadiths related to the understanding of gender and analyze the clarity of the hadiths' chain of narration. The research method used is takhrij, which involves the analysis of hadiths related to gender issues and the study of relevant literature in the context of Islamic scholarship and gender studies. Moreover, it employs I'tibar sanad, which seeks to find stronger narration chains than other chains. The data analysis is carried out through critically examining the content (matn), a method commonly used in hadith research to assess the accuracy and reliability of hadiths based on their content. The research results show that hadiths guide the role and position of women in Islam, but there are often variations and different interpretations. This research also highlights the importance of evaluating and understanding the clarity of the hadiths' chain of narration to understand religious teachings accurately in the context of gender.

Data collection is carried out through stages such as 1) reading and understanding the contents of journals and articles obtained from the internet. 2) sorting the data. 3) detailing the data. 4) data analysis the notoriously closed communist nation of North Korea establishes its control and strength on its own Conflicts and issues abound in this nation, including limitations on women's rights and the appropriation of both native and foreign labor. The North Korean government, in fact, has taken no real concrete action, there are still more human rights abuses happening. Abstract

This study examined students’ perceptions of three online modalities for learning pragmatics during a semester marked by expanded remote instruction. Fourteen English majors in one pragmatics course selected a preferred modality and completed the course across sixteen meetings: lecture based online instruction (n = 5), independent study (n = 5), or a flipped classroom (n = 4). Using a descriptive qualitative design, semi structured interviews were conducted after the course and analyzed through thematic analysis. Students in the flipped classroom reported stronger preparation for live sessions, higher confidence to participate, and deeper contextual understanding through discussion, case analysis, and role play. Independent study afforded flexibility, opportunities for reflection, and repeated exposure to instructor videos and texts, but motivation, isolation, and uncertainty without real time dialogue were common. Lecture based online instruction delivered clear structure and concrete examples but limited active engagement. Across modalities, perceived effectiveness hinged on instructional design, including careful management of cognitive load, concise and segmentable pre class materials, and purposeful use of synchronous time for analysis of authentic pragmatic data such as cooperative principles, speech acts, and politeness strategies. The findings suggest that a well-designed flipped model can support online pragmatic learning when students are prepared and materials are accessible, yet no single approach is universally optimal. Limitations include a small, self-selected sample and reliance on self-reported perceptions. Future research should examine long term learning outcomes, the interaction between learner characteristics and design features, and integrated flipped designs that combine strengths of the three modalities.

Abstract

This article examines the impact of globalization on multicultural education and local wisdom in the border areas of Kalimantan. Globalization has brought significant changes to cultural values, potentially eroding local cultural identities, particularly among younger generations. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study systematically collected and analyzed 85 journal articles published between 2015 and 2024 from databases such as Google Scholar and Crossref, using keywords related to globalization, multicultural education, local wisdom, socio-cultural learning, and border areas. Data were analyzed through thematic synthesis to identify recurring patterns and conceptual linkages. The findings reveal that multicultural education serves as a strategic approach to preserving cultural identity and fostering inclusive, tolerant student character. At the same time, local wisdom reinforces the internalization of noble values—such as gotong royong (cooperation), respect, and patriotism. Furthermore, effective implementation requires synergy between educational institutions, local governments, and communities through inclusive curriculum development, teacher capacity building, and community-based learning initiatives. In conclusion, this study makes a significant contribution both theoretically and practically by proposing a conceptual model and implementing strategies for integrating socio-cultural learning into multicultural education. It highlights the importance of strengthening cultural resilience in border regions through sustainable, context-based educational transformation in response to globalization.
