Abstract

This research delves into the historical context, cultural exchange, religious conflicts, and significance of the relationship between Islam and Christianity during the Medieval. The study aims to gain an understanding of the complex dynamics, alliances, misunderstandings, and transformations that characterized this important era. By exploring primary sources, scholarly analysis, and historical records, this research uncovers the mutual influences, cultural exchanges, intellectual dialogues, and tensions arising from the coexistence and interaction of Islam and Christianity during the medieval period. The research contributes to a broader understanding of the historical legacies of Islam and Christianity, both separately and in relation to each other, highlighting the enduring consequences of their interaction on the development of religious traditions, intellectual thought, and cultural practices that continue to shape our world today. The author uses qualitative methods with literature study and documentation to collect historical information using historiography techniques. The results of the research show that this fluctuative relationship means that the relationship between the two religions cannot be fully generalized. There have been periods of cooperation and peace, but there have also been periods of tension and conflict between these two religions.

Abstract

This article discusses the history, core teachings, and development of thought within Islam from its pre-Islamic origins to the present day. The Islamic thought presented in this article encompasses various aspects, including historical, social, political, and legal aspects. The researcher adopts a qualitative descriptive method through library research, which involves an in-depth study of various literary sources such as journals, books, and other relevant materials related to the research topic. Additionally, the researcher employs historical methods in this study due to its connection with past events.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas sejarah mengenai ajaran pokok sampai dengan perkembangan pemikiran dalam Islam dari sebelum Islam diperkenalkan sampai saat ini. Pemikiran dalam Islam yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini mencakup berbagai aspek, mulai dari sejarah, sosial, politik dan aspek hukum. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dalam bentuk library research, yaitu dengan menggunaakan kajian yang mendalam terhadap beragam dokumen kepustakaan seperti jurnal, buku atau bahan-bahan pustaka lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan topik penelitian. Selain itu, penulis juga menggunakan historical method dalam penelitian ini karena berkaitan dengan kejadian masa lampau. Analisa data pada penelitian ini adalah thematic analysis, yaitu teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi pola atau menemukan tema melalui data yang telah dikumpulkan yang terkait dengan sejarah perkembangan pemikiran Islam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah berbagai model-model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan library research, studi ini mengkaji literatur ilmiah yang relevan, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan konferensi, untuk mengumpulkan, mengkritik, dan menganalisis model-model pembelajaran yang ada. Artikel ini menyajikan pengertian pembelajaran inovatif, menjelaskan berbagai model pembelajaran seperti pembelajaran berbasis masalah, flipped classroom, blended learning, dan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Penelitian ini kemudian menghubungkan efektivitas model-model tersebut dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang terlihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, motivasi belajar, dan kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Melalui analisis kritis dan komprehensif, ditawarkan wawasan yang berharga tentang cara-cara praktis untuk mengintegrasikan inovasi pembelajaran dalam kurikulum dan pedagogi. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pendidik, pembuat kebijakan, dan peneliti pendidikan untuk memahami dan mengaplikasikan model pembelajaran inovatif guna menunjang kualitas pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of population growth and economic growth on the unemployment rate in Pontianak City through literature review and ethnographic methods. The research findings show that the theory of population growth explains how demographic dynamics can affect the availability of job opportunities. Rapid population growth in Pontianak City has had an impact on the increase in the labor force, which is not accompanied by adequate economic growth, thus causing an increase in the unemployment rate. In addition, other factors such as the quality of human resources, the distribution of development, and the availability of infrastructure also affect employment opportunities in the region. Efforts to control the rate of population growth through population programs, such as increasing access to education and health as well as empowering women, are expected to reduce the unemployment rate and improve the welfare of the community in Pontianak City in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Kelahiran dan Kematian berfokus pada kearifan lokal yang ada di daerah Sambas. Kearifan lokal merupakan sudut pandang kehidupan di dalam masyarakat yang diwariskan dan diturunkan secara turun temurun oleh leluhur dan suatu ilmu pengetahuan yang memiliki strategi kehidupan yang berwujud aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat lokal untuk menjawab permasalahan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperkenalkan budaya kelahiran dan kematian melayu Sambas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Terdapat dua cara dalam memperoleh data yaitu data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara serta data sekunder diperoleh melalui jurnal. Hasil dari  penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat beberapa ritual serta pantangan yang harus dilakukan dalam proses kelahiran maupun kematian pada budaya melayu Sambas. Ritual ini berupa ritual kehamilan dan kemataian pada suku melayu sambas, pada ritual kehamilan terdapat beberapa proses yaitu: tuang minyak, bepapas. Kelahiran terdapat beberapa proses yaitu: Belinggang, Turun tanah, dan tepung tawar, serta kematian yaitu:kajikan, mengkafani, ngelayat, memandikan mayat, menyolatkan mayat, melewati kolong mayat, turun tanah, dan miare

Abstract

This article takes an in-depth look at Ms. Retno Marsudi's successful career in diplomacy, as well as the factors that played a role in this achievement, while providing concrete examples of the practice of diplomacy. Using a descriptive research methodology, it explores theories of global diplomacy and the practice of Indonesian diplomacy. The research findings confirm the central role played by Ms. Retno Marsudi in building Indonesia's diplomatic relations with other countries. She is known for her strong leadership, communication skills, and wisdom in handling sensitive issues. In addition, this article also illustrates how Indonesia's free and active foreign policy is realized through effective diplomatic efforts, especially in achieving peace between Palestine and Israel. In the global context, Ms. Retno Marsudi's diplomatic work reflects Indonesia's commitment to play an active role in fighting for international peace and justice. In conclusion, Ms. Retno Marsudi's career journey not only provides inspiration, but also provides valuable lessons in the practice of diplomacy that has a positive impact globally.

Abstract

This article examines the impact of globalization on multicultural education and local wisdom in the border areas of Kalimantan. Globalization has brought significant changes to cultural values, potentially eroding local cultural identities, particularly among younger generations. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study systematically collected and analyzed 85 journal articles published between 2015 and 2024 from databases such as Google Scholar and Crossref, using keywords related to globalization, multicultural education, local wisdom, socio-cultural learning, and border areas. Data were analyzed through thematic synthesis to identify recurring patterns and conceptual linkages. The findings reveal that multicultural education serves as a strategic approach to preserving cultural identity and fostering inclusive, tolerant student character. At the same time, local wisdom reinforces the internalization of noble values—such as gotong royong (cooperation), respect, and patriotism. Furthermore, effective implementation requires synergy between educational institutions, local governments, and communities through inclusive curriculum development, teacher capacity building, and community-based learning initiatives. In conclusion, this study makes a significant contribution both theoretically and practically by proposing a conceptual model and implementing strategies for integrating socio-cultural learning into multicultural education. It highlights the importance of strengthening cultural resilience in border regions through sustainable, context-based educational transformation in response to globalization.

Abstract

To support and enhance the human resources of students in entrepreneurship and their ability to create new job opportunities, good preparation and individual business interest are required. This study aims to identify the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Social Studies Education Program at FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study on five Social Studies students from the 2020-2022 cohorts who have been involed in entrepreneurial activities. The main findings highlight the backgrounds of these individuals in starting their businesses, which include intrinsic factors such as personal experience, internal motivation, a sense of enjoyment, and mental preparedness, as well as extrinsic factors such as the family environment and residential surroundings. The impact of this research is a deep understanding of the motivations behind the entrepreneurial interest of Social Studies student, which can provide valuable insights for the development of entrepreneurship programs in academic settings.

Abstract

The problem-based education model begins with posing a problem or posing a problem, focusing on disciplinary relationships, investigation, group collaboration, as well as creating work, demonstrating and solving the given case. This problem-based education is student-centered, where teachers only share a little data and students who want to be more active in solving problems. This problem-based education uses real (authentic) problems that are unstructured and open-ended as a context for students to improve their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and at the same time build new knowledge. In contrast to conventional education where real problems are used as the implementation of concepts, problem-based education makes real problems a factor in students' learning process before they understand formal concepts.
