Abstract

In a company, human resources are considered the most important and determine the success of a company, humans act as managers of the production factors used in company operations. Human resources in a company are said to be unique because basically humans find it difficult to free themselves from conflicts of interest such as the interests of the organization and the interests of the individual himself. It is impossible for a company to operate its activities without humans. No matter how simple a company is, human resources are the core of the company's activities so that the company is the result of activities of humans by humans and for humans. Human resources that support the smooth achievement of company goals are employees who have the ability to work well, have initiative, creativity, high responsiveness and the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively. Managing human resources really depends on the character of the leader. Leadership style greatly influences the achievement of an organization's goals, where it influences employee performance. Therefore, a company definitely needs a leadership role in controlling the company to achieve common goals. This can be used as a consideration for the company which will later influence decision making and every company policy. The problem in this research is: is there an influence of autocratic, democratic and control-free leadership styles on the performance of PT employees. Mandom Indonesia Tbk Surabaya Branch? The data used in this research is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to PT employees. Mandom Indonesia Tbk Surabaya Branch.

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis research is to obtain a clear picture of the variables of absence, awareness of responsibility and willingness to obey regulations that affect employee performance at the Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of East Java Province. The problem in this study is whether there is an influence between the variables of absence, awareness of responsibility and willingness to obey regulations that have a simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance. This study uses a random sampling technique, where samples were taken as many as 50 employees with the hope that they can truly represent all employees at the Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of East Java Province. The method of data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. From the results of the SPSS analysis, it shows that there is a strong and positive relationship between employee discipline and performance, as evidenced by the determinant coefficient (R²) which shows a value of 0.262, this means that the contribution affects the employee performance variable by 26.2%. Likewise, the absence variable (X) which has a dominant influence on performance (variable Y), this shows that the influence between employee discipline and performance has a strong and positive influence, where increasing employee attendance will be followed by increased performance, this is evidenced by the large β Standard of 0.299 and t count 2.332 is greater than the other t counts. Thus a brief description of this thesis, the author presents in this abstract with the hope that it will be useful for readers, in general and especially for the BPKP Representative of East Java Province.

Abstract

The involvement of people in a company in an organizational context is expected to play an active role in the successful achievement of multiple goals, both individual goals and organizational goals. Good organizational management is characterized by a sense of ownership of the people involved in it, and on the other hand, this involvement also needs to be balanced with comparable remuneration so that this will also lead to employee performance demands. The role of employees is seen as very important for the success of an organization in the sense that no matter how perfect an organization's plans are, if employees cannot carry out their duties with high enthusiasm, then an organization or company will not achieve the results desired by the company. Likewise, the importance of the role of compensation strategy will have a positive impact on the company because indirectly the compensation strategy itself is remuneration provided by the company to employees for the services they have provided to the company. Forms of compensation in the form of premiums, transport allowances and health benefits or other forms are financial and non-financial manifestations that must always be budgeted for by management. In a general understanding of the concept, compensation is everything that employees receive as compensation for what they contribute. Compensation issues are interrelated with internal consistency and external consistency where internal compensation is related to the concept of relative salaries within the organization and external consistency is related to the relative level of salary structures that apply outside the organization. The balance between internal consistency and external consistency is considered very important to ensure that employees feel satisfied and remain motivated and effective for the organization as a whole.

Abstract

In order to have strong competitiveness in an environment that continues to move dynamically, a business entity such as NAV Karaoke needs to think about a superior service package that has high competitiveness and is a favorite service that consumers want. In creating a NAV karaoke service or product package, it is necessary to think about a design that truly reflects the consumer's desires for karaoke entertainment products. Starting from the need to create a karaoke service design sourced from consumers, the researcher intends to empirically study what product or service items are like regarding the quality of service provided by PT. NAV Karaoke Family Biliton Surabaya, from this research it is hoped that it will be possible to find out how the public perceives existing services and how to improve them. Consumer preferences can literally be interpreted as the behavior shown by consumers in searching for, selecting, buying, using, evaluating the quality of business products and services that can satisfy their needs (based on a value system / experience / customer value). Consumer preferences for the attributes of a product are the level of suitability of the attributes of the product or service with consumer needs. The main factor necessary to know and understand value is to be truly aware of the needs of individual consumers and the market segments in which they are concerned. Service design is the value contained in a service and in the form of a service appearance that is distinctive and attractive and differentiates it from competing services, where service design can produce its own allure that attracts consumers' buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to classify rice import data in Indonesia based on the main country of origin using the K-Medoids algorithm. The rice import data used in this study covers the last six years (2017-2022), which is quantitative data, namely rice import data in Indonesia quoted from the Indonesian Statistical Publication, and processed based on the customs archives of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. The K-Medoids method was chosen because of its ability to handle outliers and provide more stable clustering results compared to other clustering algorithms. The results of the analysis show that there are three main clusters of rice-supplying countries in Indonesia. The first cluster consists of countries with high import volumes, the second includes countries with moderate import volumes, and the third comprises countries with low import volumes. These findings provide important insights for the government and industry players in formulating rice import strategies, particularly in choosing the country of origin of imports and determining tariff policies. In addition, the results of this clustering can be used as a basis for making decisions regarding the diversification of rice import sources to increase national food security.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Indonesia is an important sector in national economic growth. Most of Indonesia's population lives in rural areas and more than half of the population depends on the agricultural sector for their living. The development of the agricultural sector includes not only food crop commodities, but also plantation and horticultural crops. Horticultural commodities have high economic value, so that horticultural agribusiness (fruit, vegetables, floriculture and medicinal plants) can be a source of income for the community and farmers, both small, medium and large scale. Vegetables are the main food requirement after rice. Hydroponic vegetables are relatively more expensive because the process is not natural or in other words requires technology. So, the growing process is also much faster than organic vegetables. The advantages of hydroponic vegetables are that they are more hygienic, safer to consume, the vegetables are crisper, the higher water content can dissolve fat more effectively, the skin will be better nourished if consumed regularly, reduces triglyceride levels thereby preventing the risk of high cholesterol. Therefore, this is able to attract the attention of consumers to make it suitable for consumption. Changes in people's lifestyles form a new lifestyle, namely a healthy lifestyle. People's lifestyles reflect consumption patterns, so a healthy lifestyle makes people switch to consuming hydroponic vegetables which are considered healthier. Marketing of hydroponic agricultural products in Indonesia is quite rapid, this can be seen from the development with the increasing number of hydroponic agricultural products being sold in outlets. and large supermarkets in Indonesia, including hydroponic vegetables. Marketing of hydroponic vegetables is important to pay attention to, because it involves fulfilling consumer demand for food needs.

Abstract

Companies really need competent and quality human resources, especially in this era of globalization. All business organizations must be ready to adapt and strengthen themselves in order to compete so that they are able to answer all challenges in the future. Human resources in this case are employees who always play an active and dominant role in every organizational activity because humans are planners, actors and determinants of the realization of goals. Human resource management (HRM) is a process of dealing with various problems within the scope of employees, employees, workers, managers and other workers to be able to support the activities of an organization or company in order to achieve predetermined goals. Human resources are a very valuable factor, so the company is responsible for maintaining the quality of work life and developing the workforce so that they are willing to contribute optimally to achieve company goals (Pruijt, 2003). Placing employees in the right positions will help the company to obtain optimal work results and achieving expected goals. This is reinforced by Hasibuan's (2005) statement that placement must be based on job descriptions and job specifications that have been determined and guided by the principle of the right person in the right place and the right person behind the work. An organization, according to Rivai (2004) Without support employees/employees who are suitable both in terms of quantitative, qualitative, strategic and operational aspects, then the organization/company will not be able to maintain its existence, develop and advance in the future. For this reason, quality human resources are needed to support the tasks that are the responsibility of the organization
