Abstract

One of the goals of vocational revitalization is the improvement of educators/teachers’ competence. This is considered important as the competence is the main capital for managing learning process, besides knowing the functions and duties as a teacher in the classroom, which can be in the form of the teachers’ performance. However, these two things are not obtained instantly, but a process and several factors have influenced them as well. This study aims to find some factors that can affect competence and performance based on the previous research as well as potential factors that likely influence. By using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, seven factors and three potential factors along with their measurement indicators have been proven to influence the competence and the performance. Thus, it can be concluded that to find out the relationship between potential factors such as social media, a religion and a healthy lifestyle on the teachers’ competence and performance, it is necessary to prove the findings in this article.

Abstract

Vocational high schools are formal institutions that can demonstrate skills in certain fields. Vocational high school entrepreneurship should be able to stand out along with the number of unemployed. Learning related to entrepreneurship can be used by vocational high schools as a provision for the future for students. The efforts of vocational high schools in providing learning for independent and productive readiness are by doing the practice of establishing a company that is packaged in creative product learning and entrepreneurship (PKK). The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in the study was the head of the study program, PKK teachers, and students. The results of the analysis and discussion of the research obtained, it can be concluded, among others: (1) student learning planning which begins with a teacher coordination meeting with the head of the expertise program, administrative preparation for the preparation of lesson plans from the syllabus and analysis of talents and interests. After conducting meetings and administrative preparations, then proceed with technical preparations, namely conducting cooperation marked by MoUs with productive business actors, which in the future will conduct workshops, seminars, financial support, and student psychology; (2) the implementation of student learning in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and financial intelligence, namely PKK learning in which there is the development of entrepreneurial knowledge, developing student potential, giving projects, practical experience in entrepreneurship and financial management, taking advantage of opportunities, reading market trends, and monitoring evaluations; (3) there are several obstacles, namely teachers do not have entrepreneurial experience in the field. In addition, the obstacles are also felt by students who have not been able and satisfied in selling the products they sell. As an effort to solve problems by providing direct assistance and discussing with practitioners of productive business actors.

Abstract

Tujuan pendidikan nasional Republik Indonesia adalah mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Tujuan tersebut merupakan suatu penghargaan agar bangsa Indonesia bisa bersaing dengan bangsa lain di kancah internaisional khususnya di era Revolusi Industri Keempat (R.I 4.0) dan era Masyarakat ekonomi Asean (MEA) saat ini. Sudah saatnya pendidikan di Indonesia berbenah agar bangsa bisa bersaing dengan bangsa lain. Pembenahan yang mendasar dalam pendidikan adalah terkait kualitas dan kompetensi guru maupun calon guru Indonesia. Calon guru harus mencermati bagaimana kualitasnya untuk menjadi guru, bagaimana menyadari posisi mereka dalam era revolusi industri saat ini. Hadirnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) bisa dijadikan salah satu cara untuk bisa mewujudkan hal tersebut, seorang guru harus memiliki dan paham betul tentang kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) yang mengidentifikasi bahwa hal tersebut merupakan pengetahuan penting untuk pengembangan keterampilan professional guru dan calon guru.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe a essay of Unesa Student 2013 class, relating to the structure of  text and error analysis of Japanese language. These two viewpoints are considered important to see the student essay, with the reason that both of viewpoints relevant to the purpose of learning Japanese language 'sakubun' that is capable to communicate a case, circumstances, events, and opinions on to written language communication in good and right. The object  were taking from student essay results of Prodi Japanese Language and Education with total 22 students. The obtained data will be analyzed using interpretive methods to student essay of Unesa student 2013class, to describe the characteristics construction of essay text relating to the use of conjunctions and classification as well as text categorization based on the sentence or main paragraph placement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe main problems of Japanese language text study, current text research and its application in Japanese language learning. Referring to the understanding of text as the largest and most comprehensive set of language study, the understanding of concepts and limitations in text study required for language learners, especially foreign languages learners, students should understand the concept and limitation of the text. The research method used descriptive qualitative research methods. The study results gained conclusion that text in Japanese language studies focused on study of text structure, especially discussion of text coherence. The views on this issue become a basis for understanding applied in teaching Japanese as a foreign language. This study focuses on discussion mentioned various research problems that can be raised and an example of text study research results applied with Japanese Language Text Structure Classification, Japanese Language Material Teaching, and contrastif language study

Abstract

Vocational high schools aim to produce graduates with work-ready skills (supply and demand driven). However, the fact that VHS still contributes the most to unemployment is a concern. Teacher internships are an important program to increase teacher competence through industrial experience. This research seeks to discover how the industry can implement a productive teacher internship program for Chemical Engineering Expertise. The research method is case study qualitative including interviews, observations, and documents. The results showed that the teacher internship program in terms of supporting and inhibiting factors, and impacts at PT. Petrokimia Gresik. The developed a month-long teacher apprenticeship model from the Ministry of Industry, as well as field observations (plant tours) and competency schemes for the Cooling Tower Water Treatment utility system. Assessor LSP-P3 Indonesian Fertilizer Industry BNSP competency test Tirta Amara Mahesa follows the school's teacher apprenticeship model for one week directly in the drinking water treatment process based on the needs of the pilot school teaching factory program.

Abstract

This study will examine the planning of school-industry collaboration, labor distribution, and recruitment approaches. It also describes the supporting and hindering aspects of the BKK employment fair in distributing workers at VHS SORE Tulungagung and VHS 1 Rejotangan. This study employs a qualitative case study research method. This study employs observation, documentation, and interviews. The results reveal BKK exploring for industry contacts, selecting industries to work with, and collaborating. To distribute graduates, BKK registers them, arranges for them to be interviewed, and then sends them to work. Internship, school-industry, and industry-industry recruiting models. Moreover, schools and industries have provided sufficient infrastructure for BKK activities, whereas many parents do not allow their children to work outside the city.

Abstract

Interference is one of the effects of language contact. Interference is interpreted as interference, interference, or the inclusion of language elements into other languages. This research is intended to find out the forms of interference and possible solutions to improve Indonesian language learning, especially for students at SDN 1 Jipo, Kepohbaru, Bojonegoro. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study are transcripts of student conversations when learning Indonesian takes place. Data collection was carried out using observation, recording, interviewing, and listening techniques. Then do preduction and presentation of data, as well as drawing conclusions. The last step, the researchers conducted time triangulation, to experts, and discussions. Based on the results of data analysis,five forms of language interference were found, namely cultural interference, semantics, syntax, morphology and phonology. Cultural interference occurs due to students' lack of knowledge of the target language culture (B2). Semantic interference occurs in the use of words that have variables in a language. Syntactic interference, including the grammatical system of B1 mixed with B2. Morphological interference, occurs in the formation and change of word formsin the use of B1 due to friction with B2. Phonological interference, there are errors in pronunciation or pronunciation of sounds in Indonesian because they are influenced byregional language (Javanese).Language interference is difficult to eliminate so we need a way to minimize its impact. The methods that can be used are the teacher's efforts, student awareness, and the role of the environment.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak pada penurunan ekonomi masyarakat Dusun Wiloso, Desa Gondowango, Kabupaten Malang. Kelompok masyarakat ini memerlukan upaya peningkatan ekonomi dengan menciptakan kreatifitas dan inovasi melalui program peningkatan kompetensi di bidang fashion. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan peningkatan ability skills di bidang fashion untuk membantu mengembangkan kompetensi masyarakat yang terdampak pemutusan hubungan kerja selama masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community Development dengan enam tahapan, yaitu need analysis, observasi, identifikasi masalah, solusi, treatment, output dan diakhiri dengan model evaluasi Kirkpatrik. Hasil program pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mendapatkan wawasan baru terkait dengan fashion dan merasa merasa puas dengan penyelenggaraan program pelatihan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra untuk menghasilkan produk yang memiliki nilai tambah. Program pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan kepuasan mitra dalam membuat produk fashion dan membantu perolehan pendapatan mitra. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pengabdian yang dilakukan memberikan dampak positif kepada peserta pelatihan dalam upaya memanfaatkan peluang untuk berwirausaha mandiri. Kata Kunci: keterampilan menjahit, masyarakat dusun, pelatihan menjahit, pendampingan  [English]: The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the economic decrease of the people of Dusun Wiloso, Desa Gondowango, Kabupaten Malang. These communities require efforts to improve their economy by fostering creativity and innovation through competency improvement programs in fashion. This community service program aimed to improve the community's ability skills in the fashion sector to help them develop their competencies, especially those affected by layoffs during the pandemic. The method used was Community Development with six stages, including need analysis, observation, problem identification, solution, treatment, output and ended with the Kirkpatrik evaluation model. The results showed that participants gained new insights related to fashion and felt satisfied with implementing the training program. The training provided knowledge to produce value-added products. This training program also increases partner satisfaction in making fashion products and helps generate income. It can be concluded that the program positively impacts trainees to take advantage of opportunities for independent entrepreneurship. Abstract

The Community Work Training Center has a mission to produce unskilled Human Resources to become skilled in several areas of expertise and have entrepreneurial skills. The aim of this research is to evaluate the role of Community Work Training Center of Syech Tambuh Foundation in improving the quality of Human Resources in in Islamic boarding schools and the surrounding environment. This research approach was descriptive qualitative. The source of data was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings showed that the role of the Syech Tambuh Foundation Community Work Training Center is quite good. This foundation has used the curriculum standardized by the Ministry of Manpower. Syech Tambuh Foundation Community Work Training Center has collaborated with BRI, Bank Mandiri, Sampoerna Foundation and ITS. Generally, its graduates have become entrepreneurs and worked in several local and national industries. The conclusion of this research is that the role of Syech Foundation Community Work Training Center has grown quite well in providing training. Optimization of cooperation programs needs to be carried out to support the improvement of the quality of training in providing experience for the training participants
