Abstract

The transition of fossil fuel to non-fossil fuels (biodiesel fuel for diesel blending) has continued to evolve. The largest source of biodiesel’ raw materials in Indonesia derives from oil palm. Biodiesel development is also believed to generate benefit for society as well as for regional and national, including job creation, infrastructure improvement, revenue generation for governments and reduce national dependence on fossil fuels, and minimize adverse environmental fossil fuel impacts. However, despite its targets and strengthened by various comprehensive policies, the development of biodiesel in Indonesia also faces significant barriers. Descriptive analysis used in this study to understand the political economy of biodiesel engagement. The limited domestic market, mainly related to the issue of non-competitive prices with diesel, relatively low of oil prices, and high prices of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) are the constraints in the production of biodiesel for domestic uptake. The national political aspect related to the use of biodiesel by government parties, including non-PSOs, becomes an important issue in ensuring the sustainability of biodiesel. In addition, the issue of sustainability in the upstream (oil palm plantation) and dumping issues expressed by the EU and the US Government are also the main problems in Indonesian biodiesel export.

Abstract

Mathematics has an important role in the world of education, but education in Indonesia in mathematics cannot be said to be good. This is in accordance with the PISA 2022 results that Indonesia has experienced an increase in ranking by 5-6 positions but is still at the bottom of other countries in mathematics ability. Learning mathematics is still considered difficult and unpleasant by students, causing low learning outcomes. Using the guided inquiry learning model could be a solution because it can attract students and better understand students' understanding of learning concepts. The main aim of this research is to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative pre-experimental design approach in the form of one group pretest & posttest. The research sample was 21 students. The data collection technique in this research used a written test. The results of the data analysis that had been carried out showed that the average value before treatment was given was 33.33 Meanwhile, the average after the treatment was given was 67.52. The paired sample t test results obtained were Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumberdaya alam termasuk juga sumberdaya perairan yang ada di kawasan taman nasional ujung kulon (TNUK), menjadi sangat penting untuk menjaga keberlanjutannya baik dari aspek ekologi, ekonomi dan sosial. Penilaian ekonomi terhadap sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan akan sangat membantu dalam pengelolaan berkelanjutan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai ekonomi sumberdaya perairan yang ada di dalam kawasan konservasi perairan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon (TNUK). Waktu penelitian berlangsung selama 6 bulan, mulai bulan Juni hingga November 2021, di Kawasan Konservasi Perairan (KKP) Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon (TNUK), Provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui metode survey dan observasi lapangan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka berupa dokumen/laporan terkait kajian. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode valuasi ekonomi total (TEV). Hasil penelitian diperoleh 1) Total nilai ekonomi ekosistem mangrove di kawasan konservasi perairan TNUK adalah mencapai Rp 1.010.345.221.267 per tahun atau sekitar Rp 317.590.788 per hektar per tahun, teridri atas; nilai manfaat langsung Rp 144.230.150.017 per tahun, nilai manfaat tidak langsung Rp 615.744.951.250 per tahun dan nilai pilihan Rp 250.370.120.000 per tahun. 2) Total nilai ekonomi ekosistem terumbu karang di kawasan konservasi perairan TNUK adalah mencapai Rp 1.179.953.103.700 per tahun atau sekitar Rp 401.591.832 per hektar per tahun, teridri atas; nilai manfaat langsung Rp 190.223.827.450 per tahun, nilai manfaat tidak langsung Rp 702.202.393.750 per tahun dan nilai pilihan Rp 287.526.882.500 per tahun.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country because most of the population works in the agricultural sector. The main need for farmers is fertilizer, to support plant growth properly. The relatively expensive price of fertilizer is an obstacle for farmers in Tawangrejo Village. The majority of the Tawangrejo Village community are farmers and have a large number of cattle, of course this can be used to produce compost. Therefore we are moved to empower the people of Tawangrejo Village regarding the production of compost from cow dung. The hope is that it can help the community in meeting their fertilizer needs, besides that compost production also has the potential to increase income for the community. This community service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) research method. The data contained in this paper were obtained from implementing a series of PAR methods supported by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the emergence of public awareness to utilize cow dung as compost and the creation of a community group of compost producers in Tawangrejo Village.

Abstract

Human resources are the main important factor in a company. One of the problems that affects the workforce in a company is level turnover. High level turnover intention has become a problem that has a negative impact on the company. That's why it's important for companies to pay attention to employee welfare, such as workload. Each individual has different resistance to workload, the higher the workload given, the higher the level turnover intention. Besides that Work life balance The company also needs to pay attention. the higher the quality work life balance employees then the lower the level turnover intention employees or even none at all. Burnout It should also be noted that work burnout can be the main consideration for employees who experience a high workload turnover intention.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi jalan dan jalur lalu lintas yang sangat penting. Salah satu fungsi jalan adalah berperan dalam mendorong pembangunan dan pemerataan pembangunan suatu daerah. Bagi pemerintah, jalan merupakan sarana transportasi yang mempengaruhi jalannya perekonomian dan pemerintahan. Saat ini Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Brebes masih kesulitan menyajikan informasi spasial dalam bentuk peta digital, masih kesulitan memelihara data status jalan, dan belum dipublikasikannya data status jalan menyebabkan kesulitan bagi masyarakat pada umumnya. mendapatkan. informasi mengenai kondisi jalan. Sistem informasi geografis menjadi solusi dalam menyajikan data spasial. Sistem informasi geografis merupakan suatu teknologi yang merupakan alat untuk menyimpan, mengolah, menganalisis dan menampilkan kondisi alam dengan menggunakan data. Sistem informasi berbasis web ini dirancang sesuai model UML (Unified Modeling Language) dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan menggunakan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Aplikasi GIS yang digunakan adalah ArcView, MapServer dan Pmapper. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi geografis Kabupaten Brebes tingkat kerusakan jalan diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi pemerintah khususnya Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Brebes dalam menyajikan informasi kerusakan jalan.

Abstract

PT KAI DAOP 5 Purwokerto is one of Indonesia's railroad operating units under the auspices of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). PT KAI DAOP 5 Purwokerto has several divisions, one of which is the rail and bridge unit. The rail line and bridge units at KAI DAOP 5 Purwokerto are still manually recording plan data and inspecting tracks. So, a system is needed to record plan data and review railroad tracks. This is done to make it easier for inspection officers to store data and reduce the risk of losing data from inspecting railroad tracks. Methods of data collection using literature study methods, interviews, and discussions with prospective website users and the team. This research aims to assist users in recording planning data and to inspect rail lines and bridges. Designing a website using the Design Thinking approach can make it easier to make User Interface designs that suit user needs. Applying the Design Thinking approach, a prototype design was found, which was used as a reference in implementing the Sell Maintenance website. The results of tests conducted on one of the employees on the user interface design were 8 accepted, 2 rejected, and 3 revisions. Abstract

This study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the extent to which knowledge management, professional competencies, and work attitudes influence employee performance within PT Sarana Agung Sejahtera. The research population comprised the entire workforce of the company, specifically 33 individuals categorized as permanent employees and an additional 5 individuals classified as non-permanent employees. The study employed a quantitative research approach, utilizing primary data as the principal source of information to ensure empirical validity and reliability in the findings. The process of sample selection was conducted through a probability sampling approach, specifically employing a random sampling technique. This method involved the dissemination of structured questionnaires via the Google Form platform, ultimately yielding a total of 38 respondents who actively participated in the study. To ensure rigorous data analysis, the study utilized the Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical application, incorporating multiple assessment stages, including validity testing to evaluate the accuracy of the measurement instruments, reliability testing to assess data consistency, and hypothesis testing to examine the relationships between the studied variables. The empirical findings of this research indicate that knowledge management, professional competencies, and work attitudes collectively exert a significant influence on enhancing the overall performance of employees at PT Sarana Agung Sejahtera

Abstract

In the context of competitive education, enhancing the quality of human resources through education is of utmost importance. The diverse intelligence of humans is widely recognized, aligning with the multiple intelligences theory proposed by Howard Gardner. However, the results of the 2018 PISA assessment reveal a low level of mathematical proficiency among Indonesian students, highlighting the urgent need to understand the factors influencing this ability. This article focuses on the role of mathematical logical intelligence as a key factor in understanding mathematical concepts. The aim of this study is to identify the influence of mathematical logical intelligence on students' understanding of mathematical concepts at MI Miftahul Ulum Pandanarum. The research method used is an associative approach with a quantitative approach, and data were collected through a questionnaire on mathematical logical intelligence and a test of conceptual understanding ability. The research sample consisted of 120 students. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. Based on the results of this research, an R-squared value of 0.083 (83%) indicates that mathematical logical intelligence has an influence on students' understanding of concept abilities, while 17% is influenced by other variables. The t-test results reveal that the calculated t-value of 3.266 is greater than the tabulated t-value of 1.981, leading to the conclusion that there is a significant influence between the mathematical logical intelligence variable (X) and the concept comprehension ability variable (Y). With a significance value (Sig.) of 0.001 < 0.05, the alternative hypothesis  Ha is accepted, and the null hypothesis Ho is rejected.

From analysis result which have been conducted to relation of causal, can be explained by following: (a) Job Conflict significant positive to stress work journalist. Result of examination of hypothesis with method Model Structural Equation approach of PLS yield path coefficient equal to 0,349 with p = 0.0000, is so that decided isn't it. Thereby that there are positive influence Job Conflict to stress work journalist, that is job conflict excelsior will generate ever greater job stress. (b) Work load have an effect on 10 stress work journalist, (c) Emotional exhaustion have an effect on to stress work journalist. (d) Job Stress have an effect on to journalist performance. (e) Social Support do not have the character of to weaken influence of stress work to journalist performance. Thereby that social Support not such a moderator variable weakening influence of stress work to journalist performance. Locus of Control weaken influence of stress work to journalist performance.
