Abstract

Environmental literacy has emerged as a paramount subject to be studied and ingrained in individuals in the 21st century due to the rising concerns over environmental problems. Hence, this research is aimed at analyzing the development of environmental literacy topics in the educational context in the 2001-2022 period to understand the development and potential of this research in the future. This study used the bibliometric analysis method with data sourced from Scopus. Out of 518 articles obtained, only 386 met the criteria for performance analysis and scientific mapping using Publish or Perish and VoSViewer software. The result showed that the development of environmental literacy in the educational context has increased both in terms of publication productivity and the number of citations. The United States, Indonesia, and Turkey contributed the most. Although overall the issues raised are still dominated by environmental literacy and environmental education, there has been a shift in the last three years. The result of this study indicates that the subject of environmental literacy within educational settings remains both compelling and pertinent for future exploration. These findings have implications for the urgency of expanding the scope of environmental literacy research in the educational context to issues that are still limited. Consequently, this study can serve as a roadmap for researchers to establish new research directions, enrich existing knowledge, and make a more substantial contribution to developing environmental literacy in educational contexts in the 21st century.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries prone to earthquakes due to the importance of geological processes. Plate interactions cause seismic phenomena that have an impact on human life. This research aims to identify the factors that influence earthquakes in Cugenang District and determine earthquake-prone zones located in Cugenang District. The data is processed using a weighting system and Spatial Multi Criteria Analysis (SMCA). This overlay technique uses four parameter maps, namely rock formation maps, slope slope maps, earthquake distribution and scale maps, and geological structure maps. Making maps using geographic information system analysis and remote sensing. The main factor in the damage that occurs is due to fault movement at fine depths and the type of lithology, causing damaging vibrations. The results of the research show that Cugenang District has areas that are very high, high, medium and low prone to earthquakes. High zoning is along the fault movement path, medium category division is in areas far from the epicenter and faults, and low earthquake prone areas are very far from the epicenter and fault alignment. Making a map of earthquake-prone zoning in Cugenang District can be a recommendation for development. The government needs to carry out building code management for buildings that will be built and place buildings in zones that are safe from fault movement.

Abstract

Sustainable development must embrace the three basic principles of ecological sustainability, social and cultural sustainability, and economic sustainability for both present and future generations. The community must participate in the implementation of tourism in their area, because this involves economic, social and cultural issues of the community as well as the conservation of the nature in which they live. One of the concepts of sustainable tourism development that is oriented towards community empowerment is Community Based Tourism (CBT) which is a critical idea from conventional tourism development which often ignores rights and does not involve the community in the process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through the stages of observation, interviews and focus group discussions and documentation. Research activities consist of preliminary studies, conceptual modeling, validation and revision, and model testing. Data analysis uses an interactive analytical model from Miles and Huberman which allows data analysis when researchers are in the field or after returning from the field. This research resulted in a development concept based on community empowerment through three stages of development: (1) tourism destination development program, (2) tourism marketing development program, (3) partnership development program.

Abstract

The development of the population, which is accompanied by an increase in human needs invarious aspects, causes various spatial problems. Spatial problems include settlements andunhealthy community environments such as slums, prone to floods, droughts, fires, pollution anddamage to the environment, joblessness, and the spread of various diseases. Therefore, it isnecessary to have a spatial arrangement that is in accordance with the needs and capacity of thespace, so that a beautiful, cool and harmonious life can be achieved. Basically, the concept ofspatial planning, ideally, has long been known by elements of Indonesian society, even beforethe explosion of population growth that occurs today. The existence of sacred spaces, areas, andland that are not allowed to build houses, residential areas in groups, areas for graves, areas forroads, areas for places of worship, agricultural areas, are forms of local spatial planning knownto the general public. Local wisdom is one of the community's capital to combine aspects ofnature conservation with aspects of economic fulfillment which is conceptualized as Ethnotourism. One of the potentials that many regions have in Indonesia is the natural potential whichbecause of its beauty and uniqueness can be developed for Ethno tourism. A very closecorrelation between local wisdom and ecotourism is that the local wisdom of a particularcommunity is usually related to the way it relates to the environment and the naturalsurroundings. The interaction of this wisdom is a very good attraction to be packaged into aunique ecotourism concept. Based on the conceptual description of the analysis and the empiricalconditions. It seems that the implementation of local spatial planning is one of the mostfundamental alternatives to be presented in a scientific format so that we can understand moredeeply the spatial concept built by our ancestors. Moreover, in the era of globalization whichpresents a very strong influence on all dimensions of life, including spatial planning, thusrequiring us to have a strong foundation in managing space as a place to live and develop. This iswhere local values in managing spatial planning are needed to strengthen the identity andindependence of the Indonesian nation. One of the villages in the Bima Regency that is able tomaintain the traditions and local values of the Indonesian people's spatial planning is theSambori Traditional Village community. The Sambori community has used a spatial plan that isvery in line with the values and spatial patterns in ecotourism management that is rational and inaccordance with its ideal designation.
