Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe a comparative study of perceptions of terrorist stigma between male and female students at the University of Riau. How the terrorism and bombing cases that occurred in Indonesia were masterminded by certain religious groups using certain symbols and attributes, giving rise to a negative stigma perspective between male and female students at the University of Riau. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire consisting of five indicators and 19 questions. The data analysis technique in this study was using the Independent Sample T-test with the SPSS version 25 program. After testing the normality of the data with normal data results and testing the homogeneity of variance with homogeneous data results, then hypothesis testing can then be carried out. The results of the hypothesis test are 1,000 and the value of 1,000 > 0.05 (2-tailed < 0.05), then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is no difference in perceptions of terrorist stigma between male and female students at the University of Riau.--------------------AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan studi perbandingan persepsi stigma teroris antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan di Universitas Riau. Bagaimana kasus terorisme dan pengeboman yang terjadi di Indonesia didalangi oleh sekelompok oknum agama tertentu dengan menggunakan simbol serta atribut tertentu, sehingga menimbulkan perspektif stigma negatif antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan di Universitas Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner/angket yang terdiri dari lima indikator dan 19 pertanyaan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan uji analisis Independent Sample T-test dengan program SPSS versi 25. Setelah melakukan uji normalitas data dengan hasil data normal dan uji homogenitas varian dengan hasil data homogen, maka selanjutnya dapat dilakukan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis adalah 1,000 dan nilai 1,000 > 0.05 (2-tailed < 0.05), maka Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi stigma teroris antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan di Universitas Riau.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the application of electrical engineering drawing modules assisted by AutoCAD Software in improving student learning outcomes, as well as limitations in terms of procurement of learning media for the Electrical Engineering Drawing course and Lack of student understanding of the material provided will hurt students. Some of the students cannot imagine and cannot explain the meaning of the picture. This research aims to improve student competence in electrical engineering drawing courses assisted by AutoCAD Software. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method. The subject of this study is a student of Electrical Engineering Education at 2022 Faculty of Engineering UNP. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the media was obtained with valid categories where the learning module is feasible to use. In the student practicality test, it can be concluded that students provide very practical values. So it can be concluded that the electrical engineering drawing module assisted by AutoCAD Software can improve student competence and learning outcomes and is feasible to be applied in the AutoCAD Software-assisted electrical engineering drawing course at the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Padang State University.

Abstract

This research is to find out The Usage of Magic Box-Based as An Effort in improving cognitive aspects of youth capability identifies and keep in mind animal pictures, fruits, number and alphabet. The method used is a qualitative approach with a sort of case research, meanwhile, based on data and survey that investigator was carried out by observation, inerview and documentation. Investigator formerly attach data obtained through interviews. In this sub-chapter, the result of inetrviews will be explained regarding The Usage of Magic Boxes in Improving Youth’s Cognitive Aspects. The technical data analysis carried out empirically, which begins swith observation and aware of used methods. As the subject of this research is an early childhood, Mawar group RA Walisongo Gayam Sumenep with a total of 20 childern. Result of scope research found that learning process could be implemented with a Learning Approachment Based of Magic Box where there are several steps to implement through creativity in every single youth’s presentation, the active interaction of youth through Magic Box, quiz presentation pass through thuse, provide positive feedback against youth. The implication obtained is the significant of an approachment that teachers employed, by utilizing other play methods that is effective will be competent to stimulate proggress of youth’s cognitive aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sikap dan aktivitas altruisme serta pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yang semakin mendapatkan perhatian dari berbagai kalangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh sikap altruisme terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Kelas VIII di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Populasi dan jumlah sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 84 responden. Berdasarkan uji analisis regresi linier sederhana, didapatkan hasil nilai dari signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,000 ? 0.050, sehingga terdapat pengaruh antar variabel X dan variabel Y. Diketahui pula bahwa nilai Ftabel sebesar 3,957 (tingkat keyakinan sebesar 95% dan tingkat signifikansi 5%, uji signifikansi satu arah), maka nilai Fhitung sebesar 28.945 ? nilai Ftabel sebesar 3,957 bermakna bahwa antar variabel X terhadap variabel Y berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Dan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,511 bermakna bahwa antar variabel X dan variabel Y memiliki korelasi dengan tingkatan ‘sedang’ dan nilai dari koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,261, bermakna pengaruh antar variabel X  terhadap variabel Y sebesar 26,1% sedangkan sebesar 73,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel atau faktor lain

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to students cultural and civic literacy, such as intolerant attitudes towards diversity among people in everyday life. Students sense of respect decreases and they tend to carry out intolerant and bullying actions such as bullying and discrimination. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of the PPKn learning process on students' civic cultural literacy. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative, data analysis was carried out on the research sample using a statistical approach. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire consisting of 30 questions. The population in this study was class VIII students at State Middle School 6 Siak Hulu (SMPN 6 Siak Hulu), totaling 195 students with a sample of 54 respondents. Based on the research results, it was found that there was a positive influence between the PPKn learning process on the civic cultural literacy of class VIII students at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. This can be proven by a simple regression analysis test using the statistical test program SPSS version 23, so that the test results obtained are F count is 78.97 while F table is 4.02, so it can be concluded that in this case Fcount is greater than Ftable, then Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The influence of the PPKn learning process on civic cultural literacy is 77.7%. Meanwhile, 22.3% (100%-77.7%) was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to state and analyze the nature and type of leadership of President Joko Widodo based on the perceptions of Riau University students. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive, the primary data collection instruments used in this research are questionnaires or commonly called questionnaires and interviews which consist of 2 indicators, each of which has 5 and 10 sub-indicators with 40 statements. The population in this study were Riau University students. Sampling from the entire population used the Quota Sampling technique, so that the researchers gave a quota of 10 people in 10 faculties at Riau University. Based on the research results, it was found that the average percentage value of respondents’ alternative answers was 62.2%, this percentage was in the “Good” category with a range of 50.01%-75,00%. Thus, it can be concluded that the overall results of research on Riau University Students’ Perceptions of President Joko Widodo’s Leadership are in the “Good” category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that education has a very important role in the progress of a nation, but there are still several problems for society in getting access to education, one of which is the cost factor. Therefore, the government provides various conveniences for underprivileged people who want to continue their education. through a scholarship program. Scholarships are given with several requirements, one of which is study achievement, thus students who apply for scholarships are required to maintain their study achievements during the study process so that the scholarship program is not revoked, meanwhile, in order for study achievements to continue to increase, students must also continue to maintain and increase their interest in learning. This research aims to determine the differences in language learning interests of scholarship recipients and non-scholarship recipients in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. The type of research that will be carried out by the author is descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted at the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. The population in the study were all students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University, class 2019 to 2021. The research sampling technique used was purposive sampling, the number of samples was 146 people. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique was carried out using the independent sample t-test statistical test. The results of data analysis show that there is a mean difference of 1.9589 with the sig value. 0.009 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the learning interest of scholarship recipients and non-recipient students in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University.

Abstract

This research is based on the initial observation by the researcher, who noticed that many students are engaged in online gaming. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of online games on students' learning motivation. This research is quantitative in nature with a correlational approach. Sources of information were obtained from various journal findings, articles, and relevant books with titles specified by the author. The research findings conclude that there is an influence of online games on students' learning motivation, and it is negatively impactful. This means that with an increase in online gaming, there is a corresponding decrease in students' learning motivation towards a more diminished state, as seen from the consistency value of the student learning motivation variable (Y) of 28.888 and the regression coefficient of online games (X) at -0.455. This indicates that an increase of 1 unit in online gaming results in a decrease in students' learning motivation by 11.6%. The negative coefficient indicates that online games (X) have a negative influence on students' learning motivation (Y). Furthermore, the calculated F-value is greater than the critical F-value (7.460 > 3.159), thus rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha), indicating that online games significantly affect students' learning motivation at SMP IT Aziziyyah Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine and analysis: (1) the effect of organizational culture on innovative behavior, (2) the effect of interpersonal communication on innovative behavior, (3) the effect of organizational culture on work motivation, (4) the effect of interpersonal communication on work motivation, and (5) the effect of innovative behavior on work motivation. The research subjects were the teachers of the State Elementary School of Labuhan Batu Regency with a total sample of 142 people taken by means of stratified proportional random sampling, the data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix.. The analysis results of the effect exogenous variables on endogenous variables in each substructure obtained (1) organizational culture, interpersonal communication, and innovative behavior have a positive effect on teacher work motivation by 7.7%; 4.7% and 9.7% (2) innovative behavior is influenced by teacher work motivation by 5.3%. The results of the study illustrate that (1) there is a direct positive influence of organizational culture on innovative behavior by 5.24%, (2) there is a direct positive influence of interpersonal communication on innovative behavior of 3.09%, (3) there is a direct positive influence of organizational culture on work motivation, (4) there is an effect of interpersonal communication on work motivation, and (5) there is an influence of innovative behavior on work motivation.. Keyword: Organizational Culture, Interpersonal Communication, Innovative Behavior, and Work Motivation Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap perilaku inovatif, (2) pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perilaku inovatif, (3) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja, (4) pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap motivasi kerja, dan (5) pengaruh perilaku inovatif terhadap motivasi kerja. Subjek penelitian adalah para guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Labuhan Batu dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 283 orang yang diambil dengan cara stratified proportional random sampling, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur setelah dihitung korelasi seluruh variabel penelitian dalam bentuk matriks. Hasil analisis pengaruh variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen pada masing-masing substruktur diperoleh (1) budaya organisasi, komunikasi interpersonal, dan perilaku inovatif berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 7,7%; 4,7% dan 9,7%  (2) perilaku inovatif dipengaruhi oleh motivasi kerja guru sebesar 5,3%. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa (1) ada pengaruh langsung positif budaya organisasi terhadap perilaku inovatif sebesar 5,24%, (2) ada pengaruh langsung positif komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perilaku inovatif 3,09%, (3) ada pengaruh langsung positif budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja, (4) ada pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap motivasi kerja, dan (5) ada pengaruh perilaku inovatif terhadap motivasi kerja. Kata Kunci: Budaya Organisasi, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Perilaku Inovatif, dan Motivasi Kerja

Abstract

Pancasila village is a means of application and internalization of Pancasila values that are currently starting to fade in people's lives. This article aims to formulate strategies and materials to optimize Pancasila villages as a means of ideological resilience. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, which was conducted in 2 Pancasila villages in Pekanbaru City and Dumai City, Riau Province. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data collection, data verification and reduction, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing used data source triangulation techniques. The results of the study found that (1) Pancasila villages have not been running optimally because activities are more directed at infrastructure management but are still not massive in terms of socialization activities of Pancasila values to the community, both formally and informally; (2) the absence of standard materials or curriculum structures for the socialization of Pancasila values carried out by Babinsa so that there are no guidelines for conducting social communication (komsos); (3) Optimizing the role of Pancasila villages can be done through the use of collaboration and digitalization strategies, while in terms of material structure, a comprehensive and codified material structure is required. Pancasila villages as a stronghold of ideological defense have not been running effectively, so a number of future improvement efforts are needed in terms of strategy and material.
