Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method focusing on identifying facilitators strategies in reactualizing Islamic values ​​in P5-PPRA activities carried out at MTsN 6 Cianjur, identifying reactualizd Islamic values ​​in the project, and finding out students’ perceptions of the project activities. Data collection instruments use interviews and observation, and data analysis uses the steps namely reducing, displaying and drawing conclusions. The research results show that MTsN 6 Cianjur facilitators carry out project activities to strengthen the Pancasila student profile and the Rahmatan Lilalamin student profile (P5-PPRA) with a co-curricular strategy, namely project activities that are designed separately from intracurricular or regular learning activities. The actualized Islamic values ​​are faith in Allah and His Messenger, patience, responsibility, gratitude, tawadu, not being arrogant and haughty, tolerance and criticism, mutual cooperation, helping each other and equality (musawwa), innovation and love of the country. The students like the activities of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile and the Ralmatan Lilalamin student profile (P5-PPRA) although there are still students who pay little attention to these activities due to various factors such as family, health, economic and friend problems. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Islamic philosophy of education approach in curriculum management in Islamic schools through library research. The Islamic philosophy of education approach, which emphasizes the integration of spiritual, moral, and intellectual values, is considered to provide a strong foundation for the development of holistic and sustainable curriculum. The research method used is library research by examining relevant literature, including books, journal articles, and educational policy documents. The findings of the research indicate that the Islamic philosophy of education plays a crucial role in shaping curriculum management that can integrate general knowledge with religious values. This approach involves various aspects, including curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation based on Islamic principles. The literature review reveals that many Islamic schools still face challenges in effectively implementing this approach, especially due to educational dualism and a lack of competent human resources. Literature analysis also shows that factors such as the commitment of school leadership, teacher training, and educational policy support are crucial for the successful implementation of the Islamic philosophy of education approach. This research concludes that the Islamic philosophy of education approach can be an effective paradigm in curriculum management for Islamic schools, focusing not only on academic achievement but also on the character development of students. The study recommends enhancing managerial and pedagogical capacities through professional training and development for educators, as well as developing policies that support the integration of Islamic values into the curriculum. It is hoped that the findings of this research will contribute to efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education in the modern era. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in producing quality student projects in science subjects at SMAIT AN-NAWAWI. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving science teachers and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of Project Based Learning was able to improve students’ creativity, collaboration skills, critical thinking abilities, and learning motivation. Students successfully produced various science projects relevant to daily life and environmental issues. The learning process also encouraged students to actively participate in problem-solving activities and project presentations. Supporting factors included adequate school facilities, teacher guidance, and student enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the obstacles encountered were limited time allocation and differences in students’ learning abilities. Overall, the implementation of the Project Based Learning model effectively produced quality student projects and improved science learning outcomes at SMAIT AN-NAWAWI.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are an essential component of the educational system in schools that focus not only on academics but also play an important role in shaping students’ character. These activities outside the core curriculum provide many opportunities for students to develop various skills and positive values that contribute to improving their academic achievement, as well as building strong personalities and character. Extracurricular activities function as a medium for developing social skills, leadership, teamwork, and individual responsibility. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The study applies an interactive model to analyze the data obtained from the research. Therefore, it can be concluded that extracurricular activities are not merely additional activities outside classroom learning, but they have an invaluable role in students’ character development. Through the various activities offered, extracurricular programs are able to pave the way for self-discovery, skill development, and the strengthening of positive values. Active participation in extracurricular activities enriches students’ experiences and contributes significantly to creating individuals who are resilient, moral, and ready to face future challenges

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the curriculum in improving the quality of learning at SMA IT Seribu Bulan. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that SMA IT Seribu Bulan has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of Education and the local Education Office. Curriculum implementation is carried out through annual program planning, classroom learning activities, teacher professional development, integration of Islamic values, and continuous evaluation processes. The school also enriches learning by offering elective subjects such as Coding and Artificial Intelligence to support students' digital competencies. The implementation of the curriculum has a positive impact on learning quality by enhancing students’ academic achievement, critical thinking skills, creativity, social skills, and learning motivation. Teacher participation in training programs, webinars, and In-House Training (IHT) contributes significantly to the successful implementation of the curriculum. However, challenges remain in improving students’ academic performance and classroom engagement. To address these issues, the school continuously evaluates learning activities through student reflections and annual program reviews. Overall, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA IT Seribu Bulan has contributed positively to improving the quality of learning and supporting students’ holistic development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal’s strategy in planning disciplinary programs to build student character at SMK Darussalam Pamulang. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The participants consisted of the principal, vice principal for student affairs, counseling teachers, teachers, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of observations, it shows that the implementation of the discipline program for students at SMK Darussalam Pamulang has been carried out well through planning, implementation, supervision, assessment, punishment and rewards. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the principal’s strategy involved developing school regulations, establishing a disciplinary team, implementing habituation programs, strengthening character education, and conducting regular evaluations. The implementation of these programs positively contributed to students’ discipline, responsibility, and compliance with school regulations, Supporting factors included the commitmen of school members and parental support, while inhibiting factors included low student awareness and external environmental influences.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the condition of MA Al-Masfuriyah as a private educational institution facing challenges due to its relatively limited number of students amid increasingly intense competition among educational institutions. This condition requires the madrasah to implement various strategies to maintain its existence as an educational service provider for the community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strategies implemented by MA Al-Masfuriyah in maintaining its institutional existence and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its sustainability. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review during the implementation of the School Field Experience Program (PLP) at MA Al-Masfuriyah. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that MA Al-Masfuriyah maintains its existence through the continuity of the learning process, strengthening character and religious education, fostering a family-oriented relationship between teachers and students, utilizing social media as a medium for information and promotion, and maintaining educational services continuously. Supporting factors include the commitment of teachers, support from the foundation, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include the limited number of students, competition with other schools, low public awareness of the institution, and the need to improve school promotion. This study concludes that MA Al-Masfuriyah continues to strive to maintain its existence as an educational institution despite facing various challenges.

Abstract

Attendance recording at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam has traditionally relied on manual paper-based procedures, which are prone to recording errors, data loss, inefficient data management, and delays in preparing attendance reports. These limitations can increase the administrative workload of teachers and school staff and reduce the efficiency of academic administration. This study aimed to design and implement a web-based attendance information system to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of attendance management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam. The research employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes rapid development, prototyping, user involvement, and iterative refinement. The system was developed using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database management system, and AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support system functionality and interface development. The implementation results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing teacher and student attendance data systematically, recording attendance information efficiently, and generating attendance reports automatically. The system also facilitates centralized data management and enables attendance information to be accessed and processed more quickly than the previous manual procedure. Overall, the developed application improves the accuracy, efficiency, and organization of attendance administration and supports the digital transformation of administrative services at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam.
