Abstract

This research is a meta-analysis of the effect ofStudent Worksheets on student learning outcomes. Thereal conditions found in the field of physics studentlearning outcomes are still low. To improve studentlearning outcomes, teaching materials are needed thatcan attract students' interest in learning, one of which isStudent Worksheets. This study aims to analyze theeffect of Student Worksheets on student learningoutcomes. The research method used in this research ismeta-analysis research. By collecting and summarizingseveral articles. Where the sample used consists of 30articles that have been published in various nationaland international journals. The selected articles arearticles that can be processed to calculate the effect sizeon the use of Student Worksheets which are thengrouped into four indicators, namely based on educationlevel, grade level, learning model and research area.First, the use of Student Worksheets has a significanteffect on indicators for junior high school educationwith a summary effect size of 1,041 in the high category.Second, the use of Student Worksheets has a significantimpact in class VIII with a summary effect size of 1,205which is categorized as very high. Third, the use ofworksheets has a significant effect on the ContextualTeaching and Le&

Abstract

Physics is a subject that examines the phenomena that exist in the universe. Not all of the physics and science materials studied can be visualized because not all of them are concrete. This makes it difficult for students to understand the physics and science material. The solution that fits this problem is to apply the use of video to the students' physics and science learning process. The application of video in learning is expected to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Research on the use of video has been done by many previous researchers. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence from the use of video on student learning outcomes.This research method uses a meta-analysis method by collecting 26 articles published in 2014-2021. The article consists of 24 national articles and 2 international articles. The selected articles are articles that can be obtained the effect size on the application of learning videos in physics and science lessons. The effect size value obtained is then grouped into three indicators, namely based on education level, research area, and learning model.Based on this research, it can be concluded that: (1) Effect size on the effect of using video based on indicators of education level, obtained very high criteria for junior high school level, (2) Effect size on the effect of using video when compared based on the indicators of the research area, obtained high criteria for the South Sulawesi region, (3) Effect size on the effect of using video when compared based on the learning model, obtpained high criteria for the Creative Problem Solving learning model.

Abstract

The twenty-first century is evolving at an incredible rate.. The development of information and communication technology in all aspect of life, including in the learning process has entered the modern era. The ablility to think critically and solve problems skill (problem solving skill) are important skills for surviving in the twenty-first century. The real condition found in the field were that students' critical thinking skills are relatively low during the teaching and learning process. One solution to overcoming this problem is to use learning media  namely in the form of modules. Then, it is necessary to have further research on the Module. Meta-analysis is the term for this type of study. Researchers undertake meta-analysis by synthesizing research data, examining, and analyzing research data from a number of previously published studies. Conducting a literature review, gathering data, studying and assessing papers, analyzing and interpreting articles, and producing report results are all steps in meta-analysis. The necessary statistical data must be included in the article, according to the standard. From the data analysis carried out, it can be stated three results of this research. First, the use of the module has a significant effect on the senior high school level compared with an average effect of 0.931 to junior high school level. Second, the use of the module has a significant effect on the Newton’s Gravity material with an average effect of 3.742. Third, the use of the module has a significant effect by using a Contextual Teaching and Learning Model and saintific approach.

Abstract

This study was conducted to develop the standardized knowledge-enrichment book for Senior High School Students. This book was tended to the students who have completely mastered the Physics materials in comprehending the limitation of energy sources and its effect for human’s life, as stated in the Main Competency (Kompetensi Dasar) of the existing Curriculum. The research method used is Research and Development which refers to ADDIE Development Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Questionnare was given as the assessment-instrument of the study which consists of four indicators; material, language, presentation, and graphic. The standard of assessment-instrument used in this study was in line with the standard of assessment-instrument of knowledge-enrichment book by Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan (Puskurbuk) of Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Written in communicative language, interactive pictures, and simplistic explanation about factual information of coal, the book acquired 92% of material-standard, 89.3% of activity-standard, and 83,3% graphic-standard with the “very good” intepretation, while 80.5% for media-standard with the “good” intepretation. Based on the efficacy-standard testing, the book had 0.35 gain-score, indicated that it can enhance students’ knowledge in the ‘middle’ category. The result strengthened that the knowledge-enrichment book “Kajian Fisis Batubara” was appropriate as a standardized and well-intepreted book. Abstract

The curriculum 2013 emphasizes learning physics using process skills approach to develop the scientific skills of students. Based on need analysis obtained that the assessment instruments used by teachers is not in accordance with the process of learning. The aims of this research is to produce a science process skills assessment instruments in learning physics for high school students. The instrument was developed restricted to direct current circuit subject. The method used in this research is the development of research. The instrument was developed thirty- five test items written in the form of multiple choice. Science process skills indicatorsinclude observing, formulating a hypothesis, identifying variables, interpreting data, communicating, and implementing concept. Abstract

This research aims to develop knowledge enrichment books eligible to static electricity based on competence 3.5 grade XII, that is analize the electrical force, a strong electric field, flux, electric potential, electric potential energy and its application in various cases of static. Eligibility is measured using four indicators that have been established by Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan (PUSKURBUK) namely;content, presentation,language, and graphic. The method applied is the development of research which refers to of Dick & Carey. Survey has done to know the necessity of enrichment book inschools in Jakarta, famous book stores in Jakarta , and Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan, the results is just a few books about lightning but only as part of a science popular, not discuss the specifics of the concept of physics. Referring to the results of a survey and quality standards enrichment books, written draft of the book enrichment "Concepts of Physics Lightning" with a communicative language and comes with the presentation of an image that makes it easy to understand explanation of the concept of physics. Abstract

This research aim to develop knowledge enrichment book of ice melting in North Pole based on competence 3.9 grade XI, that is to analyze the indication of global warming, greenhouse effect, climate change, and the impact for life and environment. In this research, applied Research and Development Method refer to Dick & Carey. Survey has done to know the necessity of enrichment book in four schools, book stores, and Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan. The result is availability of enrichment book with North Pole ice melting competence around 7 until 8 book titles. To evaluate the whole enrichment book, validation test is done to high school’s students and giving the results as mean score percentage as 85% with details like 86% for content, 81% for presentation, 87% for language, and 85% for graphic. The results show that the content of enrichment book are able to increase student’s motivation to search deeper about North Pole’s ice melting phenomenon, furthermore the presentation of sentences and illustrations that clarify the content. So it can be concluded that knowledge enrichment book “Physics Opinion To North Pole Ice Melting Phenomenon” obtain the Very Good predicate. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a physics enrichment book based on the four identified principled which include content, presentation, language, and graphics. The research method used in this development is Research and Development which refer to the five-stages ADDIE model. This development result in an enrichment book that presents the concept of music and musical instruments explained by physics phenomena which includes sound waves, resonance, wavelength, frequency, sound intensity, timbre, and music scales. The enrichment books that is developed is then validated by expert and tested to indicate whether the book is effective or not, thus, creating a meaningful learning for students. The result of the media expert validation is 94%, education expert validation is 81%, content expert validation is 98% and originality validation is 89%. The result showed in the field-test of the product was at highly appropriate level with an average score of 86% from the teachers and 85% from the students. The books’ meaningful learning was tested to education expert, teachers, and students, resulting in an average score of 79% from the education expert, 81% from the teachers, and 85% from the students. Hence, based on the validation and field-test data, it can be conclude that the enrinchment book that has been develop is the worth to be used as a source of meaningful learning for students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga yang lebih inovatif dan efektif melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa sebagai sarana pembelajaran fisika. Alat peraga yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat peraga gerak melingkar pada sumbu horizontal dan vertikal berbasis mesin pemutar dengan timer serta counter. Data yang akan diperoleh melalui alat peraga gerak melingkar ialah gaya sentripetal dan tegangan tali. Penelitian ini menerapkan metodologi penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) yang dimodifikasi oleh Borg dengan tahapan : 1) Pengumpulan data dan analisis kebutuhan 2) Desain produk awal 3) Pembuatan produk dilakukan di Laboratorium FMIPA Universitas Negeri Jakarta 4) Uji Validasi produk oleh dosen ahli materi dengan perolehan skor 94%, ahli media pembelajaran 87%, dan skor 95% oleh guru Fisika SMA 4) Uji coba produk dan uji efektivitas alat peraga gerak melingkar melalui hasil test akhir siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta dengan perolehan skor 96% 5) Revisi dan produk akhir. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga fisika SMA materi Hukum Newton dan aplikasinya. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Fisika, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan pengujian alat peraga di SMAN 67 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan langkah-langkah pengembangan, yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan alat peraga yang akan dikembangkan, (2) desain produk, (3) pengembangan media awal, (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba lapangan, (6) revisi produk akhir, dan (7) diseminasi dan implementasi. Alat peraga ini telah melalui tahap uji validasi dengan persentase capaian sebesar 87,50% menurut ahli materi, 85,75% menurut ahli pembelajaran, dan 98,70% menurut guru Fisika SMA. Hasil ujicoba lapangan alat peraga Hukum Newton dan Aplikasinya terhadap siswa menunjukkan persentase capaian sebesar 83,42%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga Hukum Newton dan Aplikasinya hasil pengembangan secara umum sudah sangat baik dan mendapat respon positif dari siswa. Kata kunci: alat peraga, Hukum Newton dan Aplikasinya.
