Abstract

Literacy skills significantly influence the learning process and outcomes, making it imperative for teachers to cultivate literacy habits among students. A solid grasp of literacy, coupled with the selection of appropriate learning models and media, is essential for fostering an understanding of Pancasila values. This research aimed to describe the implementation steps of a literacy-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model using Flinola (an innovative Pancasila flipbook) and to assess its effectiveness in enhancing second-grade students' comprehension of Pancasila values at SDN Wates 01. A mixed-methods research design was employed. The implementation of the literacy-based PBL model using Flinola was achieved through pre-learning literacy activities and the five phases of PBL. The analysis results indicated that this learning approach was effective in improving students' understanding of Pancasila values, as evidenced by a significant increase in the average score from 56 to 85.2, and a substantial increase in the mastery rate from 16% to 92%. Furthermore, the n-gain analysis revealed a moderate increase in understanding with a value of 0.6953.

Abstract

Lack of media use causes students to be passive, resulting in low interest in learning and making student learning outcomes less than satisfactory. This research aims to develop Telegram Chatbot-Based Interactive Media in Indonesian Language Subjects for fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is developed using the Sugiyono model in eight stages. The subjects of this research were a fourth-grade teacher, 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 6 initial trial students, and 14 usage trial students. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data collection instruments were observation guidelines, interview sheets, and test questions. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, N-Gain analysis, and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The research results were the material expert assessment results of 92.3% (very feasible). The results of the media expert assessment were 90.8% (very feasible). The results of the teacher response percentage were 95% (very feasible). The result of the percentage of student responses of 94.15% falls into the very feasible category. The N-Gain test result of 0.6949 is included in the medium criteria. The t-test results showed significant differences in student learning outcomes after taking part in learning using interactive media based on the Telegram chatbot. It was concluded that interactive media based on the Telegram chatbot was suitable and adequate for subjects of the Indonesian language. Abstract

This research is motivated by observational data indicating the low learning outcomes of second-grade students in the competency of reading to folktales, which is attributed to the limited use of media in teaching. Therefore, this research aims to developed an instructional tool: digital animation storytelling media with Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA). The research method employed in this study was Research and Development (R&D), utilizing the ADDIE model. This study involved a class teacher and 26 learners in grade II of an Elementary School. The primary objective of this research was to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of the digital animation storytelling media with MCA for the second-grade class in enhancing the competency of reading to folktales. Data were collected using a questionnaire to assess media feasibility and pretest-posttest questionnaires to measure the media's effectiveness. The results of the media feasibility assessment, based on the questionnaire, obtained a percentage of 90%, indicating "Very Feasible" according to content experts, while media experts rated it at 84%, indicating "Eligible." Regarding the effectiveness of the media, as assessed through pretest-posttest questionnaires, the N-Gain test revealed an average improvement of 0.48 on a small scale with an average difference of 22.5. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the digital animation storytelling media with MCA for the second-grade class is not only suitable for instructional use but also effectively enhances students' learning outcomes in the competency of reading to folktales.

Abstract

Writing skills are an important aspect of learning at the elementary school level, especially in Indonesian Language lessons. However, fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Panusupan, Purbalingga Regency, still face difficulties in writing texts that clearly and structurally describe natural and social phenomena. This problem not only impacts students' literacy abilities but also hinders the development of their creative attitudes in expressing ideas and understanding the phenomena in their environment. This study aims to determine the steps for implementing the E-Flipbook ”Grebeg Suro” with the assistance of the Project-Based Learning model to improve students' explanatory writing skills and simultaneously develop their creative attitudes through the TPACK and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approaches. This research uses a mixed-method approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were obtained through writing skill assessments using scoring rubrics, while qualitative data were collected through interviews regarding the implementation of the module. The results of the study show that the average student score is 81.1, with 65.4% of the 26 students reaching mastery. This indicates that the implementation of the E-Flipbook "Grebeg Suro" is quite effective in improving explanatory writing skills, though further research is needed.

Abstract

This study is dedicated to enhancing the Pantun writing skills of high-grade elementary students through developing and evaluating digital teaching materials in a flipbook format. The research follows the development model outlined by Sugiyono. The product was validated by media and material experts, who provided feedback that reflected a high level of appropriateness. The media experts rated the materials at 95%, categorizing them as very feasible based on their alignment with learning objectives, design, language, and usability. The material expert assigned a score of 81%, also within the very feasible category, considering the relevance of content, language, and presentation. The feasibility test results from a small-scale trial indicated a 100% approval rate from educators and a 90.41% positive response from students. Pretest scores averaged 52.76, which rose significantly to 88.80 in the posttest, demonstrating a substantial improvement of 36.04 points. The n-gain test results were 77.42 for the small scale and 76.93 for the large scale. These findings substantiate that developing the Pantun flipbook, grounded in the think-talk-write model, is highly feasible and effective in enhancing students' writing Pantun. This innovative learning strategy not only aids in developing writing skills but also fosters critical thinking, discussion, and expressing ideas in written form.

This study aims to describe the steps of implementing visual handouts of Indonesian cultural diversity assisted by culture card media and to test its effectiveness in improving the ability to understand Indonesian cultural diversity material for fourth-grade students of Jatisari Elementary School. The research method used is a mixed method that collects qualitative and quantitative data simultaneously. The qualitative method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the steps of implementing visual handouts assisted by culture card media in the learning process of Indonesian cultural diversity material. The quantitative method used is a pretest-posttest one-group design whose data is obtained from the pretest and post-test scores. The results showed an increase in the average pretest to the post-test score, which was 57.2 to 83.1 and the results of the N-Gain test obtained a value of 0.61 with moderate criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of visual handouts assisted by culture card media is quite effective in improving the understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity in grade IV students of Jatisari Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the Circle Time E-module through Linktree to improve students' narrative text content speaking skills. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall development model. The data collection techniques used were tests (pretest and posttest questions) and non-tests (observation, interviews, documentation data, and questionnaires). The data analysis technique in this study used the normality test, t-test, and gain test. The results of the feasibility test obtained a percentage of the assessment, namely from the media expert validator of 90.8% and the material expert of 90% so that the average was 90.4% with a very feasible category. The effectiveness of the Circle Time E-module through Linktree was proven through a t-test which showed a significance value <0.05 which means there is a significant difference between speaking skills before and after treatment with an N-gain test value of 0.662 on a small scale and 0.642 on a large scale which shows a medium category. Practicality is demonstrated by the positive response of 96% of teachers and 96.5% of students with very positive criteria. From these results, it can be concluded that the Circle Time E-module through Linktree is effective, feasible, and practical for improving narrative text speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for grade IV elementary school students.
