Abstract

Three purposes of this study are: 1) to identify the characteristics of integrative model of text-based foktale writing learning for SMP students; 2) to develop an integrative model of text-based folktale writing learning SMP students; and 3) to describe the acceptability of integrative model of text-based folktale writing learning based on the result of field trial. This study employs research and development approach. The study results in an invention of characteristic theory of development model in form of seven unique learning procedures for folktale writing. The result of research is a learning set of development model. The acceptability is based on the comparisson test, regression test, and the following observations: the average number of students’ achievement development which is 19.17; the effect of creative behavior (X1) 70.92%; independence (X2) 84.1%; and the impact of X1 dan X2 86.62%. The average score of teachers’ observation 4.3 (high), and the answer “yes”obtained from students’ observation is 94.53%. Based on the trial, the use text-based integrative model is concluded to obtain high acceptability because it manages to improve the procces and the result of learning.

Abstract

The three purposes that would be reached based on the problems in this research: 1) describing the characteristic of miinolitra studying model, 2) identifying the increasing of result studying, 3) describing the change of student?s behavior in class 8E SMP Negeri 33 Semarang. The approach used is class action research. This research was conducted in two ways. The result of this study is the class average 66.58 in pre-cycle step (done by 16 students), 76,56 in first step (done by 24 students). This thing shows that there is increasing of student?s goal 11.30. Wanted-to-know-everything behavior, cooperative, independent, and wishing of getting better score are also increasing. According to research result and journal analysis could be known that students behavior score in first step is, 4.25 (good category) and second step is 4,30 (good category). Key word: miinolitra model, identiftying novel, literature genre, JHS student.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitiannya sebagai berikut: 1) mendeskripsi wujud model pancanovebia yang digunakan memfasilitasi pembelajaran; 2) mengidentifikasi peningkatan proses pembelajaran kompetensi tersebut melalui pengamatan sikap spiritual dan sikap sosial; dan 3) mengidentifikasi peningkatan hasil pembelajaran berdasarkan penerapan model pancanovebia. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (metode deskripsi, validasi, dan eksperimen). Hasil penelitiannya adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, wujud model pancanovebia berupa teori konseptual pemaduan materi sastra dan bahasa (fokus kosakata novebia:nomina, verba, adverbial/adjetiva/dll) dengan unsur-unsur model yang khas yang berdampak peningkatan sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan siswa menulis puisi rakyat bertema Pancasila. Kedua, peningkatan proses pembelajaran berdasarkan pengamatan proses pembelajaran rataan nilai sikap spiritual 96.58%,  dan rataan nilai sikap sosial 93.30%, kualitas proses belajar berpredikat A. Ketiga, hasil pembelajaran menulis puisi rakyat mengalami peningkatan sebesar 35.01. Pembelajaran kesastraan sangat efektif sebagai sarana penanaman nilai karakter.  Maka perlu memberi kesempatan siswa memaksimalkan potensinya dan terlibat pada  upaya konservasi budaya  berbasis nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila.   Abstract There are researchment goals that should be done: 1) describe conseptual theory of pancanovebia that used in facilitating the learning of folk poetry competency; 2) identify improvement of learning process that competency through observation of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes; 3) identify improvement learning result according to activity of implementing pancanovebia model in writing folk poetry. As for approachment that used in this study is research and development (descriptive, evaluative and experimental). Result of these researchment are: First, this pancanovebia model form that implemented in learning folk poetry have the shape of conceptual theory integration of literature and language material (novebia focusing on vocabulary: noun, verb, adverb/adjective/etc) that own orientation, syntagmatic, social system, reaction principle, and a typical support system, also having positive impact on improving attitudes, and students' skill in writing folk poetry in Pancasila themed. Second, improvement learning process according to observation of learning process average spiritual attitude 96.58%, average social attitude 93.30% (learning process went maximum, grade A.) Third, writing folk poetry learning result increases 35.01. So the learning needs to be facilitated in learning process that give student chance to maximize their potential and got involve to culture conservation effort based on Pancasila's noble values.

Abstract

Kamus mental manusia merupakan bagian dari neurologi mempunyai peran yang sangat erat dengan bahasa. Kamus mental merupakan bekal kodrati yang diperoleh waktu lahir. Orang tua dan guru sangat penting mengetahui tentang kinerja kamus mental. Tiga tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) mendeskripsi tentang produksi bahasa dalam kamus mental, (2) mendeskripsi perbedaan kamus buatan manusia dengan kamus mental, dan (3) deskripsi tentang aktivitas dalam kamus mental.  Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang  dikemukakan Miles, Hubermen, dan Saldana (2014) melalui tujuh kegiatan berikut: membangun kerangka konseptual, merumuskan masalah, memilih dan membatasi  sampel, instrumentasi, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data, dan matriks serta pengujian simpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Produksi berbahasa manusia berlangsung secara mekanik dan mentalistik dalam memori manusia. (2) Kamus mental disusun berdasarkan bunyi dengan memertimbangkan faktor lain, multinetwork, dan isinya selalu diperbaharui. 3) Aktivitas kamus mental meliputi penyimpanan dan retrival kata. Disarankan orang tua dan guru memacu anak agar lebih banyak  memperoleh pengalaman dan mau menceritakan pengalaman tersebut kepada orang lain dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas kamus mentalnya. Guru sebaiknya membantu proses pembelajaran anak didik dengan menerapkan faktor-faktor yang menjadi dasar mudahnya kegiatan menyimpan dan memanggil kembali/ retrival kata.

Abstract

Abstrak: Keterampilan berbicara masih menjadi masalah dalam pembelajaran pada siswa sekolah dasar, salah satunya  adalah kompetensi mengomunikasikan opini. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan: 1) mendeskripsi karakteristik model pembelajaran sinektik berbantuan CIRC, 2) mendeskripsi indikator penilaian hasil pembelajaran, dan 3) mengidentifikasi nilai karakter dalam proses belajar mengomunikasikan opini tentang isi buku sastra pada siswa kelas IV. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang  dikemukakan Miles, Hubermen, dan Saldana (2014) melalui tujuh kegiatan berikut: membangun kerangka konseptual, merumuskan masalah, memilih dan membatasi  sampel, instrumentasi, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data, dan matriks serta pengujian simpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Karakteristik model berupa pengintegrasian pembelajaran tim dan  mandiri, materi sastra dan bahasa, serta produk belajar berupa teks sinopsis dan teks opini. (2) teks sinopsis dan teks opini siswa tentang isi buku sastra yang telah dibacanya dinilai berdasarkan aspek dasar teks. (3) Nilai karakter rasa ingin tahu, kooperatif, dan mandiri diamati mitra guru sejawat sejalan dengan pengamatan kinerja guru selama pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning will be effective if the teacher understands the needs of learning well. The purpose of this study was to explore the needs of teachers in literacy learning on reading comprehension competence in elementary schools. The method used in this research is exploratory qualitative which was conducted at the State Elementary School in Central Magelang Sub-District, Magelang City, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that there are several problems in literacy learning of reading comprehension competence so teachers need several learning innovations as solutions, namely in the learning model by combining problem-based learning models with the SQ3R model, in teaching materials by developing integrated teaching materials with innovative learning models, and on the assessment instrument by developing an assessment instrument oriented towards high order thinking skills (HOTS). The results of this needs analysis will be used to conduct further research as a form of literacy learning innovation in reading comprehension competence.

Abstract

The background of writing this research is the result of observations during PPL 1 PPG pre-service that students' literacy skills are still low, especially in students' critical reasoning skills and literacy independence. Alternative learning as a solution is the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Energy Cards. The purpose of this study is to describe learning literacy design, analyze process and result improvements, and determine the impact of implementing the Energy Card-assisted Problem Based Learning model. Data collection is carried out by test, observation, and documentation techniques. This research is a qualitative approach by looking for various theoretical descriptions, findings and other research materials obtained from reference materials to be used as a basis for activities. This study resulted in the percentage of students' critical reasoning ability and literacy independence with an average score of 85.8% (very good). The average student learning outcomes on the posttest were higher than the pretest with an increase of 20. The conclusion of this study is the design of learning literacy using the Energy Card-assisted Problem Based Learning model, the application of the Energy Card-assisted Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving student learning literacy skills, this study has an impact on students, teachers and schools.

Abstract

The background for writing this is that based on the results of observations in class IV SDN Jatisari found problems including low reading interest due to the lack of availability of varied teaching resources for students. Then the learning model is still conventional. To overcome these problems, teachers can use the Flashcard-assisted Problem Based Learning model which can attract and facilitate student understanding both visually and in writing. The purpose of writing this is to describe the design of learning literacy, test the improvement of processes and results and find out the impact of implementing Problem Based Learning assisted by Flashcard media for fourth grade students at SDN Jatisari. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. The results of the percentage of students' independent literacy abilities show an average score of 85.25% (good) and critical reasoning abilities show a score of 86% (very good). For Pretest and Posttest learning outcomes there is an average increase of 19. The conclusion of this best practice is the design of learning literacy using Problem Based Learning assisted by Flashcards. The application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Flashcards is effective for the literacy skills of fourth grade students at SDN Jatisari Semarang. besides that this has an impact on writers, students, teachers and schools.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang berjudul sosialisasi pembuatan hand wash dari ekstrak daun mangga di Desa Kadengan yang melibatkan ibu-ibu PKK dan perwakilan remaja di dukuh kadengan, Desa Kadengan, Kecamatan Randublatung, Kabupaten Blora dilaksanakan pada hari selasa, 13 Desember 2022. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan ini adalah memanfaatkan ekstrak daun mangga menjadi produk bernilai guna. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini diharapkan ibu-ibu PKK dan para remaja mampu mengolah daun mangga dan menghemat pengeluaran untuk membeli sabun cuci tangan. Target luaran yang dihasilkan berupa produk sabun cuci tangan, desain kemasan, serta jurnal pengabdian bina desa. Dalam mewujudkan kegiatan tersebut, langkah yang dilakukan adalah dengan sosialisasi.

Abstract

The problem that SDN Bacem 01 Blora facing is the lack of local wisdom-based learning media and students’ poor writing skill. This research aimed to develop 2D animation video based on Blora’s Local Knowledege as a learning media to improve 5th grade students’ ability in writing imaginative text. This research was using Research and Development Method (R&D) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develoment, Implementation, and Evaluation) as the development procedures. The sample of this research was 5th grade students’ of SDN Bacem 01 Blora and SDN Bacem 02 Blora. Questionnaires consisted of media expert, materials expert, teachers’ response, observers’ response, and students’ response were the tools to obtain the data needed. The results of this research gained 93% of media expert, 96% of materials expert, 87% of teachers’ response, 89% of observers’ response, and 82% of students’ response. In conclusion, 2D animation video-based media development was feasible to be utilized to improve students’ ability in writing imaginative text based on Blora’s local wisdom.
