Abstract

Literasi memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan juga pembelajaran literasi. Tujuan yang perlu dibahas dalam Artikel ini. (1) Mendeskripsikan kegiatan KASESI (Kamis Sejuta aksi), (2) Mendeskripsikan dampak implementasi Literasi dan KASESI terhadap pembelajaran sastra anak peserta didik kelas I di SD Negeri Tambak Aji 04. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pembelajaran sastra di SD Negeri Tambak Aji 4 kelas I khususnya pada materi puisi memiliki hubungan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi dan KASESI. Sehingga terdapat tujuan yang dicapai karena adanya kegiatan literasi dan KASESI, yaitu (1) Melalui pembacaan puisi dan pemahaman cerita, siswa kelas 1 dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan memahami makna puisi dan cerita. (2) Kegiatan ini juga membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman tentang struktur naratif dan pengembangan karakter dalam cerita. (3) Melalui kegiatan menulis puisi, siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan menulis kreatif dan mengungkapkan ide dan perasaan melalui puisi

Abstract

"Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning" (CASEL) groups the components of emotional social learning into five components: (a) Self-awareness, the ability to understand emotions, thoughts, and values that influence behavior in different situations, (b) Self - management, the capacity to effectively regulate emotion, thinking, and behaviour in different circumstances, (c) Responsible decision making. (Pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab). Making the right and constructive choices in a particular situation (d) Social awareness (kesadaran sosial). The ability to understand different perspectives includes empathy for the circumstances of individuals with different backgrounds. (e) Relationship skills. Participant-centric learning emphasizes the concept of active learning where learning leads to the optimization of the intellectual and emotional bondage of students in full, so that the teacher is only a facilitator in the learning activities of students directed to learn and process the learning acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values. Abstract

This research aims to design and implement ARLO (Augmented Reality Learning Optimized) Comic learning media as a means to enhance students' understanding of plant reproduction, in line with the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) curriculum at the elementary school level. A development research method was utilized with a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that the use of ARLO Comic can enhance students' interest and comprehension of the Solar System learning material. This learning media enables student interaction with learning content through Augmented Reality features, both in the classroom and at home. The study highlights the importance of developing learning media that aligns with students' learning needs, especially in improving learning outcomes on complex subjects. It is hoped that the use of ARLO Comic can complement conventional learning, assist teachers in explaining complex concepts visually and engagingly, and enhance students' abilities in critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

Abstract

Latar belakang pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran tentang sistem tata surya di SDN Sumurboto menunjukkan hasil yang belum optimal, dengan mayoritas siswa belum mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VI SDN Sumurboto Semarang mengenai sistem tata surya melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang didukung media bela (benda langit) berbasis Android. Asesmen formatif sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa masih kurang optimal dalam subtema "Keteraturan yang Menakjubkan." Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus pertama, model PBL diterapkan dengan dukungan media gambar bela. Siklus kedua model PBL diintegrasikan dengan media benda langit berbasis android. Hasilnya, pemahaman siswa meningkat signifikan, terlihat dari skor N-Gain yang naik dari 0,31 pada siklus I (kategori sedang) menjadi 0,41 pada siklus II (kategori sedang). Penerapan PBL yang didukung media bela berbasis android efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang sistem tata surya. Media ini juga memberikan fleksibilitas yang memungkinkan siswa belajar secara mandiri. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa model PBL berbasis media bela berbasis android meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang sistem tata surya siswa di era digital, dan pembelajaran ini berkontribusi positif pada desain model pembelajaran sains yang efektif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The goal of reading is to locate different types of information in a written material. To encourage reading habits, teachers must create engaging reading programs. However, researchers discovered that many children had poor reading skills based on observations made in class I of SDN Trimulyo 02 Semarang, which is where Teaching Campus 5 is located. Based on the pre-test the average is 67. based on the identification of issues brought on by a lack of resources for learning support, particularly media. Research on the usage of media, namely E- Sea Books, must be done using the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) technique with support from the Class Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). The purpose of this study is to use the SAS to evaluate the viability and efficacy of this media approach with help from AKM Class. The Research and Development (R&D) approach is applied in this study. An assessment questionnaire with a Likert scale was used to gather data on media suitability, and a Class AKM test instrument was used to examine effectiveness. According to the study's findings, the average media validity test score is 85% with respectable credentials, whereas the average material validity score is 90% with excellent qualities. The average knowledge value for the large-scale test was 96, whereas the average knowledge value for the small-scale effectiveness test was 92. There was a 29-percent increase in learning outcomes. The media created for common vocabulary was deemed viable and efficient based on the data analysis. utilized in SDN Trimulyo 02 Semarang's first-grade classroom.

Abstract

Beginning reading is an important foundation for mastering reading skills. If students do not achieve the indicators of initial reading skills, they will not be able to master further reading skills. This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students who have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in vocabulary introduction material. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of E-Picture Story Book media based on the Steinberg Method and contain local wisdom in improving student learning outcomes related to initial reading skills in grade II of elementary school. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The product validity test was carried out by validators who were material experts and media experts, while grade III elementary school students were used as subjects for product trials. The results of this study show that the media feasibility test obtained a result of 88% with a very feasible predicate, while the feasibility test from material experts obtained a score of 92% with a very feasible predicate. The results of the effectiveness test can be seen from the comparison between the pretest and posttest results which show an improvement, with an average N-Gain of 0.58 and a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. The conclusion of the results of this researcher shows that overall, the E-Picture Story Book media Based on the Steinberg Method Loaded with Local Wisdom is declared feasible and effective in improving the vocabulary skills of grade III students of SDN Sangge. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an increase in learning outcomes in vocabulary recognition skills in grade II students.

Abstract

This study aims to outline the Teaching Campus 5 literacy program's implementation through habituation and development literacy, the challenges encountered during program implementation, and the program's efficacy in enhancing fifth-grade students' literacy skills through class AKM at SDN 09 Petarukan. The research was conducted from February 20, 2023, to June 9, 2023 (during the Teaching Campus 5 period) at SD Negeri 09 Petarukan, Pemalang district. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, class AKM tests before and after the treatment, and documentation. The class AKM test was conducted using a laptop with a unique platform installed, namely Learning Motivation. The average difference in class AKM before and after the habituation and development program treatment was compared using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings describe the program implementation process, the obstacles researchers, students, schools, and parents face, and the impact on improving students' class AKM. With a significant difference between the average pretest result of 31% and the average posttest result of 51%, the results demonstrated that the Teaching Campus 5 literacy program, which uses habituation and development literacy, effectively raised the class AKM of grade V students. With exemplary literacy implementation, students can improve their critical thinking skills, which can positively impact the results of the AKM, which tests students' analysis and synthesis abilities. Therefore, implementing literacy improves students' class AKM results in reading, writing, logical thinking, understanding the subject matter, learning independence, and critical thinking skills, especially in implementing the computer-based National Assessment (ANBK). It can also positively impact teachers and schools in understanding the importance of sustainable literacy learning. It can also provide insights for education policymakers, both at the school and local levels, in developing policies that support literacy development in other primary schools with findings that support improving literacy programs. Therefore, it is recommended that schools consider implementing literacy programs like this to enhance students' grade-level AKM at the primary level. This study has implications for ANBK outcomes in primary schools.

Abstract

Rendahnya kompetensi membaca pemahaman di kalangan siswa kelas 3 SD disebabkan oleh penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional serta kurang melibatkan media interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan dan menguji keefektifan media komik interaktif berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan sikap kritis dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mix method) dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 26 melalui uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,00 pada uji paired sample t-test mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan post-test. Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan nilai sebesar 1,4, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, sehingga mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan media komik interaktif berbasis PBL berhasil menarik perhatian dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media komik interaktif berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap kritis dan kompetensi membaca pemahaman siswa kelas 3 SD yang artinya dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar

Abstract

Pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan sikap gotong royong dan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi, yang memerlukan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan media flipbook berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan sikap gotong royong dan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas VI SDS Permata Kasih Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mix method, yang menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media flipbook berbasis PBL berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa, dengan skor kelompok A mencapai 90 (Sangat Baik) dan kelompok B memperoleh skor 80 (Baik). Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang perlu perbaikan dalam penggunaan bahasa. Selain itu, sikap gotong royong siswa juga meningkat, terbukti dengan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran, kerjasama yang baik, dan kontribusi positif dalam diskusi kelompok. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan media flipbook berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi dan sikap gotong royong siswa, meskipun dibutuhkan strategi tambahan untuk membantu siswa yang kesulitan

Abstract

The low level of reading skills is one of the fundamental problems that occurs in elementary schools. Low initial reading skills indicate this. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of the Big Book "Jati Denok". The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall design. The research subjects are material experts, media experts and language experts. The test subjects were 21 students and teachers. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The main instrument is a questionnaire. Analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The study results show that media experts rated the feasibility test as very feasible, with an average score of 94.4%. Material experts' validation results rated the content as very feasible, with an average score of 93.75%. The results of validation by language experts were the same as those of material experts, obtaining appropriate criteria with an average value of 93.75%. The student and teacher response questionnaires in the trial both scored 100% (very good). In addition, the analysis results show an increase in students' poetry reading skills. It can be concluded that the media innovation in the form of the Big Book “Jati Denok” is declared feasible and can improve poetry reading skills in grade II elementary school students.
