Abstract

Manusia hidup tentunya membutuhkan orang lain untuk berkomunikasi menyampaikan isi pokok fikirannya. Di dalam kehidupan manusia tidak lepas dengan yang dinamakan bahasa. Bahasa merupakan peranan penting bagi kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar. Bahasa dapat mengekspresikan perasaan senang, sedih, kecewa, marah, memuji, keakraban dan kebencian. Sebaliknya, dengan kata-kata makian yang terdapat pula adanya perasaan jengkel, kesal, marah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak, metode catat dan metode dokumentasi. Penetian ini lebih condong menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif. Pengambilan data yang dilihat dari komentar suporter bonek surabaya di youtube yang berupa tulisan. Kemudian, menyimak di sebuah percakapan pada komentar sa;ing mengeluarkan pendapat. Lalu, mencatat bagian penting yang memang dapat diteliti menyesuaikan tujuan dan data-data tersebut diperoleh didokumentasikan ke dalam kartu data berdasarkan tanggal, bulan dan tahun selama 6 bulan. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode agih untuk pemilihan kata-katanya. Hasil penelitian para suporter bonek surabaya makian yang berupa bentuk tunggal memiliki 80 persen sedangkan makian selain bentuk tunggal terdapat 20 persen.

Abstract

AbstractThe low mathematics self efficacy of junior high school students and the infrequency of teachers using learning models that can enhance students 'self efficacy in learning mathematics encourage researcher to conduct classroom action research aimed to increase students' mathematics self efficacy and to improve the quality of mathematics learning through NHT type of cooperative learning model. The population was all students of grade VII SMP 12 Yogyakarta and sample was students of class VII-D. Data collected by questionnaire, observation, field notes and tests. This research was said to be successful if the students' self-efficacy increase with moderate criteria reached 33.33% and the high criteria reached 53%. Learning was said to be successful if there were at least 75% of students who complete with a passing grade minimal 75. Learning worked well when the learning process reached 90%. The results showed that learning using the NHT learning model can improve students' mathematics self efficacy. The average score of students' mathematics self efficacy questionnaire obtained from student questionnaire data has increased in each cycle. The implementation of learning has increased from cycle I which showed an average of 74% to cycle II with an average of 93%. Cognitive test results obtained indicate an increase in cognitive test results from cycle I to cycle II. AbstrakMasih rendahnya self efficacy  matematika siswa SMP dan masih jarangnya guru menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan self efficacy siswa dalam belajar matematika mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan self efficacy matematika siswa dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika melalui  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-D. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, observasi, catatan lapangan dan tes. Penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil jika self efficacy siswa meningkat dengan kriteria sedang mencapai 33,33% dan kriteria tiggi mencapai 53%. Pembelajaran dikatakan berhasil jika minimal terdapat 75% siswa yang tuntas dengan nilai ketuntasan ≥75. Pembelajaran berhasil terlaksana dengan baik apabila proses pembelajaran mencapai 90%. Hasil penelitian menunukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT dapat meningkatkan self efficacy matematika siswa. Rata-rata skor angket self efficacy matematika siswa yang diperoleh dari data angket siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran  mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I yang menunjukkan rata-rata 74% ke siklus II dengan rata-rata 93%. Hasil tes kognitif yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil tes kognitif dari siklus I ke siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan saintifik melalui Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIID SMP Negeri 2 Gamping. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh skor minat belajar siswa tergolong dalam kriteria rendah (skor 66,84). Hasil tes prestasi belajar matematika juga masih kurang memuaskan, dengan tidak adanya siswa yang tuntas (nilai  75). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil siklus pertama menunjukkan persentase siswa yang tuntas dalam tes prestasi belajar meningkat menjadi 53,13%. Demikian juga dengan minat belajar juga meningkat ke kategori sedang (skor 82,81). Selanjutnya, di siklus 2 minat belajar kembali meningkat ke kategori tinggi (skor 92,28). Demikian juga dengan persentase siswa yang tuntas dalam prestasi belajar meningkat menjadi 78,13%.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KALKULUS BERBASIS MASALAHAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran kalkulus berbasis masalah (MPK-BM) yang layak. Pengembangan MPK-BM menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp dengan prosedur pengembangan terdiri atas: studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan atau pembuatan prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Kelayakan MPK-BM mengacu pada kriteria kualitas produk pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Nieveen yakni valid, praktis, dan efektif. Pengembangan MPK-BM melibatkan empat orang ahli dan dua orang praktisi. Uji coba MPK-BM melibatkan 71 orang siswa Kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 2 Baubau dan dua orang guru matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas: instrumen untuk menilai kevalidan yang meliputi lembar validasi MPK-BM dan perangkat pendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran, instrumen untuk menilai kepraktisan yang meliputi lembar penilaian kepraktisan dari guru dan siswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, serta lembar penilaian keefektifan yaitu tes prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MPK-BM yang mencakup sintaks, sistem sosial, prinsip reaksi, sistem pendukung, dan dampak pembelajaran, serta perangkat pendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP dan LKS) telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.AbstractThis study was aimed at generating a problem-based calculus learning (PBCL) model. This study used Plomp development model consisting of a preliminary study, development or prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The feasibility of PBCL refers to the criteria of product development qualities, proposed by Nieveen, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study involved 4 experts and 2 practitioners. The try-out involved 71 students of grade XI of the natural science class and 2 math teachers in State Senior High School 2, Baubau. The instruments for assessing product validity were validation sheets and supplementary learning media; for assessing practicality were assessment sheets for teachers and students and observation sheets of learning implementation; and for effectiveness were test sheets of the learning achievement test. The results show that the PBCL model which includes syntax, social system, reaction principle, support system, and impact of learning, along with supporting learning media (RPP and LKS) have fulfilled the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the mapping of difficulties in mathematics National Examination (NE) in Senior High School along with changes in NE policy in Indonesia in the last 10 years. Researcher conducted descriptive explorative analysis to find out the scope of material, the absorption, and mapping the difficulties faced by students in mathematics. Data analysis carried out by examining the data of each material and indicators. It grouped into two, namely low (50%) and high absorption (≥ 50%). The results showed that the overall absorption of the NE had decreased significantly over the past 5 years (2013 to 2017). There did not find out of difficult material before implementation of Curriculum 2013. However, the last 5 years (after the period of implementation Curriculum 2013) have found several difficulties. Moreover, since 2015, almost all the materials on mathematics NE were categorized as difficult after the changing in the status of the NE (not a determinant factor of students’ graduation) and implementation the computer-based test. The difficult materials were probability, geometry transformations, space geometry, calculus, circles, linear programs, and statistics. Generally, the difficulties were in narrative problem-solving questions or using real-world contexts. Also, the results showed non-cognitive impacts (students’ motivation) as the result of the  policy changing, especially the status and technical implementation of the NE

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa SMP kelas VIII di eks Karesidenan Kediri dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika model TIMSS. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling strata. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 465 siswa yang berasal dari sekolah strata tinggi, sedang dan rendah berdasarkan nilai ujian nasional matematika. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dengan instrumen soal matematika model TIMSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika model TIMSS pada sekolah strata tinggi termasuk kategori tinggi, pada sekolah strata sedang dan rendah termasuk kategori sedang. Ditinjau dari domain konten bilangan, pada sekolah strata tinggi dan sedang termasuk kategori tinggi, pada sekolah strata rendah termasuk kategori sedang. Domain aljabar pada sekolah strata tinggi dan sedang termasuk kategori sedang, pada sekolah strata rendah termasuk kategori rendah. Domain geometri pada sekolah strata tinggi termasuk kategori tinggi, pada sekolah strata sedang dan rendah termasuk kategori sedang. Domain data dan peluang pada sekolah strata tinggi dan sedang termasuk kategori tinggi, pada sekolah strata rendah termasuk kategori sedang. The sampling was stratified random sampling. Number of sample are 465 students. Samples were some students of 8th grade at  Ex-Kediri Residency. These school include high, average, and low category based on the score in national examination of mathematics subject. The data collection was by tests. The research results showed that the ability of junior high school student at high stratum schools belongs to high category, at medium and low stratum schools belongs to average category. Judging from the numbers domain, at high and medium stratum schools belongs to high category, at low stratum schools belongs to average category. For algebra domain, at high and medium stratum schools belongs to average category,at low stratum schools belongs to low category. For  geometry domain, at high stratum schools belongs to high category, at medium and low stratum schools belongs to  average category.  For data and chance domain, at high and medium stratum schools belongs to high category, at low stratum schools belongs to average category. Judging from the cognitive knowing domain, at high and medium stratum schools belongs to high category, at low stratum schools belongs to average category.  For applying domain at high stratum schools belongs to high category, at medium and low stratum schools belongs to  average category. for reasoning domain at high stratum schools belongs to average category, at medium and low stratum schools belongs to low category.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Inkuiri digabung dengan problem posing yang valid, praktis, dan efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, meliputi silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), dan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) pada pelajaran matematika Madrasah Aliyah kelas X semester genap.Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa. Silabus, RPP, dan LKS yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, efektif. Kevalidan produk terlihat dari hasil uji validasi ahli yang menyatakan bahwa produk mancapai kriteria valid. Kepraktisan produk terlihat dari hasil pengisian lembar penilaian guru yang menunjukan bahwa produk telah memenuhi kriteria sangat baik; hasil pengisian lembar penilaian siswa menunjukan bahwa produk mencapai kriteria sangat baik; dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran bahwa persentase minimal keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 85%. Keefektifan produk terlihat dari perolehan hasil tes berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang menunjukan sekitar 76,47% ( 75%) siswa telah mencapai nilai KKM dengan rata-rata nilai 74,88 dan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest. Kata kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi DEVELOPING MATH LEARNING SOFWARE WITH INQUIRY APPROACHAND PROBLEM POSING TO DEVELOP HIGHER-ORDER THINGKING SKILLSAbstract This study aims to produce a learning material that is valid, practice, and effective to develop higher order thinking skills, including syllabus, lesson plan (LP), and student workhsheet (SW) in Islamic high school math class X second semester.This study resulted in the learning sets of mathematics which are able to develop higher order thinking skills. Syllabus, LP, and SW which have met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Expert validation test states that the product reaches a valid criterion. Practicality of the product seen from the results of the teacher assesment sheets shows that the product has met the criteria of very good; results of the students assesment form indicate that the product reaches the criteria of very good; and observation sheet feasibility study shows that there is a minimum percentage of 85% feasibilty study. The effectiveness of the products seen from acquisition of competence achievement test results of students shows approximately 76.47% ( 75%) of the students have reached the KKM with average value of 74.88 and increase average score between prestest and posttest. Keywords: developments, learning devices, higher level thinking skills

Abstract

The quality of mathematics learning in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi were in a low category based on the research findings from the Institute of Educational Quality Assurance of South Sulawesi in 2011. It affects students to be unwilling to be involved in the process of mathematics learning. This study aims to evaluate the process of learning mathematics in the elementary educational level at Bantaeng Regency. The model of evaluation used in this study is the Stake Countenance Model consisting of three steps of evaluation, namely antecedent, transaction, and outcomes. The subjects of this study were 12 teachers at state elementary schools in Bantaeng Regency assessed by three raters. There were 363 midterm score tests from 12 schools. The instruments used in this study were observation sheet, lesson plan sheet, assessment documentation sheet, and interview guideline. This study used a quantitative research approach supported by qualitative data. The result of the study shows that (1) the lesson plan of mathematics subject is in a good category (93.45%), (2) the learning process is in the good enough category (67.07%), (3) the document of students assessment is in the good enough category (71.34%), and (4) most students in each school do not pass the school standard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan standar proses pada pembelajaran matematika menurut Kurikulum 2013 pada kelas XII SMA Negeri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method dengan desain sequential explanatory strategy. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah guru matematika kelas XII SMA Negeri di Kota Pekanbaru yang menerapkan Kurikulum 2013. Keterlaksanaan standar proses dinilai berdasarkan aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Analisis data deskriptif menggunakan kecenderungan keterlaksanaan dalam lima kriteria, yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, kurang, dan sangat kurang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan standar proses menurut Kurikulum 2013 pada kelas XII SMA Negeri di Kota Pekanbaru ditinjau dari aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran adalah masuk pada kategori baik. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek perencanaan guru masih mengalami kendala dalam penyusunan lembar kegiatan siswa, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta perencanaan alokasi waktu. Pada aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran, masih terdapat kendala yaitu pada kemauan guru untuk menerapkan pendekatan saintifik, terutama pada tahap menanya dan menalar. Adapun pada aspek penilaian, guru masih mengalami kendala terkait penilaian sikap dan keterampilan. The implementation of process standard in mathematics learning according to the Curriculum 2013 in 12th-grade of public senior high schoolAbstractThis study aimed to describe the implementation of process standard in mathematics learning according to the Curriculum 2013 in 12th-grade of public senior high school. This research was mixed-method research with a sequential explanatory strategy design. Participants in this study were mathematics teachers of 12th-grade of public senior high school in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia who applied the Curriculum 2013. The process standard was assessed based on aspects of planning, implementing, and assessment of learning. Descriptive data analysis used the tendency of implementation in five criteria, namely very good, good, enough, less, and very less. The results showed that the implementation of process standard according to the Curriculum 2013 in class 12th-grade of public senior high school in Pekanbaru City in terms of planning, implementation, and assessment of learning were included in the good category. The results of the study also showed that in the aspect of planning, the teacher was still experiencing problems in the preparation of students’ worksheet, lesson plan, and time allocation planning. In the aspect of implementing learning, there were still obstacles, namely the teacher's willingness to apply a scientific approach, especially at the questioning and reasoning stages. As for the aspects of assessment, teachers still experience obstacles related to the assessment of attitudes and skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model asesmen pembelajaran matematika SMA yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013 yang layak, yaitu valid, reliabel, dan praktis. Model asesmen yang dikembangkan terdiri dari instrumen asesmen untuk mengukur Kompetensi Inti 1 (KI-1), Kompetensi Inti 2 (KI-2), Kompetensi Inti 3 (KI-3), dan Kompetensi Inti 4 (KI-4). Model pengembangan yang diterapkan adalah model Plomp, yang terdiri dari tahap penelitian awal, pengembangan, dan penilaian. Analisis kevalidan dilakukan dengan menggunakan indeks Aiken. Reliabilitas dilakukan dengan rumus Alpha dan KR-20. Analisis kepraktisan dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, model asesmen yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid untuk masing-masing angket, lembar observasi, dan tes. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa model asesmen yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria reliabel dan praktis. Model asesmen mencapai kriteria reliabel berdasarkan hasil tes dan angket. Model asesmen juga mencapai kriteria praktis untuk penilaian guru dan kriteria baik untuk penilaian siswa.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, model asesmen, pembelajaran matematika, Kurikulum 2013 Developing High School Mathematics Learning Assessment Model Based on Curriculum 2013 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to produce a model of high school mathematics learning assessment which is appropriate with Curriculum 2013, is valid, reliable, and practical. The assessment models developed consists of an assessment instrument to measure Core Competencies 1 (KI-1), Core Competence 2 (KI-2), Core Competencies 3 (KI-3), and Core Competence 4 (KI-4). The developing model in this research was Plomp model, which consists of preliminary research, development, dan assesment phase. Validity analysis was performed by using the index Aiken. Reliability test was performed with the formula Alpha and KR-20. The analysis at practicality was with descriptive analysis. The results of the validation show that the assessment models developed are valid based on the questionnaire, observation sheet and test. The results of the tryout show that assessment models are reliable and practical. The assessment models is reliable criteria based on the tests and questionnaires. The assessment model also is practical criteria based on the teacher’s assessment and good criteria for student’s assessment.
