Abstract

Masa yang paling berat dialami oleh dunia pendidikan pada fase pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, mulai terjadi pada Maret 2020. Masa pandemi ini menjadi langkah pengembangan bagi perguruan tinggi untuk terus meningkatkan media pembelajaran yaitu E-learning dalam menerapkan Blended Learning guna mewujudkan Education 4.0 di era Industrial Revolution 4.0 Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 nantinya. Dalam dunia pendidikan, telah terjadi perubahan secara global sejak pandemi Covid-19. Pasca pandemi Covid-19 atau new normal pada bidang pendidikan yang telah dimulai seharusnya diteruskan dan disempurnakan hingga memenuhi konsep Blended Learning, yakni sebuah konsep pendidikan yang mengkombinasikan metode kuliah tatap muka di ruang kelas dengan E-learning sehingga pada waktunya, dunia pendidikan akan benar-benar berada dalam era Education 4.0. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model manajemen pembelajaran permesinan kapal pada Program Studi Teknika di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang dan sekolah vokasi bidang pelayaran lainnya. Pada pengamatan dilakukan pengujian tingkat validitas kelayakan model manajemen pembelajaran permesinan kapal yang dikembangkan berdasarkan validasi pakar dan praktisi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan aplikasi SPSS, selanjutnya penelitian menunjukan kepuasan peserta didik pada penggunaan E-Learning yang dihitung berdasarkan ketentuan peraturan. Hasil pembelajaran permesinan kapal menunjukan rata-rata nilai sebesar 81.34 dari nilai akhir keseluruhan peserta didik. Pada kepuasan penggunaan E-Learning menunjukan predikat baik dengan hasil nilai sebesar 87.82. Selanjutnya pada pengujian validasi menunjukan bahwa hasil nilai akhir memiliki korelasi dengan kepribadian, motivasi, kelola kelas, paham siswa, bahan ajar dan strategi pembelajaran sehingga dapat disimpulkan hasil evaluasi dapat digunakan untuk menjadi perbaikan dan peningkatan strategi pengembangan manajemen pembelajaran pada mata kuliah tersebut

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Simulator (PBS) terhadap resiliensi taruna melalui efikasi diri. Efikasi diri belum banyak diteliti dalam menentukan resiliensi taruna pada bidang vokasi. Penelitian turut menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap resiliensi taruna. Metode kuantitatif dengan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari 117 taruna Politeknik Transportasi Sungai, Danau, dan Penyeberangan (Poltrans SDP) Palembang yang terlibat dalam program PBS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efikasi diri dan resiliensi taruna. Selain itu, efikasi diri juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi taruna. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa PBS dapat menjadi salah satu metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri dan resiliensi taruna. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pendidik dalam memilih metode pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan resiliensi taruna.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pendidikan karakter merupakan pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk membentuk nilai-nilai positif dalam diri individu, sehingga dapat membantu individu dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi kehidupan dan membangun kepribadian yang baik. Tujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi Lima Bunga Rampai Pendidikan Karakter Purwakarta terhadap pembentukan pribadi unggul dan terwujudnya Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian Implementasi lima bunga rampai pendidikan karakter Purwakarta sudah berjalan dan diterapkan di sekolah dasar dan menengah di Kabupaten Purwakarta, masing-masing program memberikan kontribusi dalam membentuk pribadi yang unggul dan mewujudkan profil Pancasila, Dalam upaya mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila, penting untuk mengedepankan pembentukan karakter yang baik, karena karakter yang baik menjadi dasar bagi pelajar untuk berperilaku positif, membangun hubungan sosial yang baik, dan berkontribusi dalam masyarakat. Selain itu, pembentukan karakter yang baik juga merupakan kunci dalam menciptakan generasi yang memiliki keberanian, kejujuran, dan sikap kritis yang dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Hambatan yang dihadapi adalah aspek guru yang masih kesulitan dalam penerapan, hambatan waktu dan keadaan sekolah yang berbeda-beda. Implikasi dari penelitian tersebut adalah Pendidikan karakter harus diterapkan secara konsisten dan terintegrasi dalam semua aspek pendidikan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter tidak hanya harus diajarkan dalam pelajaran yang khusus, tetapi juga harus terintegrasi dalam setiap aspek pendidikan, mulai dari kurikulum hingga kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pendidikan karakter harus melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan pendidikan, termasuk guru, siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter akan lebih efektif jika melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan, sehingga dapat menciptakan budaya sekolah yang mendukung pembentukan karakter yang baik.

Abstract

Manusia terus-menerus memperbaiki dirinya melalui pendidikan, karena manusia memiliki keterbatasan. Pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini bukan sekedar pendidikan moral sebab mencakup pembiasaan perilaku positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, memberi peningkatan kesadaran, pemahaman, kepedulian, serta komitmen anak. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengevaluasi peran kepala sekolah sebagai pendidik dan pemimpin dalam memberi peningkatan karakter disiplin serta mandiri di TK Jatibarang, Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini termasuk studi fenomenologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Sekolah, Guru, Ketua Komite Sekolah, serta Orangtua Murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta studi dokumen, serta diverifikasi dengan triangulasi sumber serta metode. Hasil analisa data memakai tehnik reduksi data, pengumpulan data, penyajian data serta pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan jika peran kepala sekolah selaku: a) educator; Kepala Sekolah menjalankan pembimbingan kepada guru, pengembangan tenaga kependidikan, menerapkan model pembelajaran penerapan karakter disiplin datang tepat waktu, memakai seragam sekolah sesuai hari yang ditentukan, serta menaati peraturan sekolah. b) leader; Kepala Sekolah memberikan pengawasan serta petunjuk, memberi peningkatan kemauan dan kemampuan tenaga kependidik, membuka komunikasi yang sifatnya dua arah serta menyelesaikan berbagai tugas. c) kedisiplinan dan kemandirian, siswa bisa menjalankan tugas yang sudah diberikan oleh para pendidik serta dilaksanakan secara baik, memiliki rasa malu jika mereka melanggar aturan atau tata tertib sekolah, bertanggungjawab terhadap tindakan yang dijalankan siswa, serta menerapkan kedisiplinan dan kemandirian ketika berada dirumah. Peran Kepala Sekolah dalam Memberi peningkatan Karakter Disiplin serta mandiri sebaiknya diprogramkan kegiatan pembelajaran terpadu pada semua tema pelajaran yang dilaksanakan di Taman Kanak Kanak.

Abstract

This study aimed to define distance learning that integrates STEAM in Early Childhood Education centers in Central Java. It is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey methodology. In this study, the population and sample were teachers (n=140) at Early Childhood Education centers in Central Java. According to data processing and analysis, distance learning incorporating STEAM has primarily been implemented in Early Childhood Education centers in Central Java. Distance learning that STEAM educates children to develop higher-order thinking skills. According to the descriptive analysis calculations results, the percentage of distance learning containing STEAM received the highest score of 89 with a percentage of 64%. As a result, it is possible to conclude that distance learning incorporating STEAM has a high level of effectiveness and the belief that children will be better able to solve problems to be more effective. Many parents in this study do not understand early childhood development and the learning process during distance learning. As a result, the purpose of this article would be to explain the significance of strengthening STEAM-loaded distance learning in children to provide children with a practical learning experience by increasing cooperation between teachers and parents.

Abstract

Modification of the current Education management in learning activities has increased so rapidly. The integration of information technology into learning procedures has become a necessity that must be tried in order to accommodate curriculum requirements and the spirit of changing times. Learning activities are no longer limited to the context of space and time that take place in conventional learning management, but in this 4.0 revolution period, virtual or online activities are becoming a trend. Teacher training is no exception, which today is a demand for teacher professional development in terms of mastering technology. Especially during the pandemic, it is almost so difficult for teachers to develop themselves by participating in several trainings without technological skills. The public junior high school teachers in North Konawe are proof that technology is being used and utilized. The results of descriptive analysis show that there is a difference in the average pretest and posttest of the training participants with a pretest value of 66.43 with a standard deviation of 5.37 and a posttest value of 81.22 with a standard deviation of 6.00, then correlation analysis with the paired sample t test shows a correlation value. its value is 0.715 with sig = 0.00 < = 0.05 which means that the results of the pretest and posttest before being used and after being used by the management have a positive and significant correlation.

Abstract

The language centers at the university provides services in the form of English language training. English training becomes different when it is carried out in the covid 19 pandemic situation. Online training is a solution so that the program planned by this language service unit can run. Through this article, it will be explained about the students’ perceptions of the English language training held by the language center during the Covid 19 pandemic. This article is the feedback for the improvement of the relevant language center. Qualitative by descriptive research design is used in this article. The research subjects were the UNIMUS students from the various departments and faculties. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The advanced technique used is the observation technique by directly observing the service pattern of the language center and the implementation of English training. These three steps are a form of method/technique triangulation, which is carried out by using the various techniques in data collection, to ensure the data validity. The results of interviews and questionnaires are related to the results of observations. The English language training managed by the UNIMUS Language Center is in line with the university's vision and mission. It is also in line with the theory of training material design and accommodates student needs. However, in its management, there are still many weaknesses and shortcomings. The training materials of the UNIMUS Language Center designed is not yet referring to the curriculum or academic text because it does not yet have an academic text. The design of training materials is based on the needs of service recipients, in this case students. 54% of respondents stated that the material related to the English Proficiency Course they needed for the TOEFL test.

Abstract

In the field of education, all aspects of education should align with the goals of national education. Education has a significant impact on human development, especially in the era of globalization, to develop academic skills, students' personalities, and mastery of knowledge and technology in accordance with the needs and developments of the working world. Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang is a vocational state university in the maritime field that implements a one-year full-time internship program for bachelor's and Diploma-IV degrees. This internship program, also known as sea practice, is carried out by cadets on board ships to apply the lessons they have learned during their maritime studies. During the sea practice, the institution continuously monitors the progress of the cadets from a distance to assess their performance during the internship period. In this era of globalization and digitization, information systems are rapidly developing. The integration of information can be implemented in sea practice to prevent and address the educational and maritime testing issues that often arise at the central, regional, and cadet levels. PIP Semarang provides remote monitoring facilities through an application-based system. The observations have shown that this monitoring method can enhance competence, communication, and problem-solving skills. In further development, the application will be aligned with the digitalization-based education management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The formulation of the problem is to design a prototype and examine the effectiveness of using instructional media. The method used is quantitative. Research results: 1) According to media theory, the application of learning media is new media in the world of education. The Sociology.Q learning media apk is specially designed according to the learning needs of students. 2) The use of this learning media has advantages and disadvantages. 3) The effectiveness of learning media is very effective in learning. The end result is that using smartphone- based learning media at this time can improve students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam became a milestone in the establishment of IAIN Kudus. With the transformation of IAIN Kudus into UIN Kudus, the Program Study of Pendidikan Agama Islam will be in demand by students who do not come from Islamic boarding schools or Madrasah Aliyah (MA). To accelerate learning understanding, a differentiated learning method is needed. The approach used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of this study indicate that the lecturer remembers the name of one student at a time. In addition, lecturers understand student characteristics, learning abilities, learning styles, reading levels, and levels of understanding in absorbing material. The existence of differentiated learning methods makes the learning received between students different from one another. Likewise with different teaching methods. Learning that is created according to the needs and understanding of students.
