Abstract

Background: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory airway disease characterized by episodic wheeze, coughe, and tightness in chest due to airway obstruction. Asthma attack is usually preceded by various kinds of triggers and different in each person. Asthma management is very complex and requires collaboration between patient with their families, especially parent. In order to properly manage asthma, patient and parent should have specific knowledge about asthma. This study aimed to determine the association between parent knowledge about asthma triggers and asthma attack frequency in children. Methods: This analytic study was observational using cross sectional approach. The population of this study was child patient with asthma at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta and Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat. A sample of 33 study subjects was selected by purposive sampling from outpatient and inpatient with asthma who visited Pediatric Clinics, RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta and Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat and suitable with the inclusion criteria. The data was collected by interview using a set of questionnaire from Asthma General Knowledge Questionnaire (AGKQ) and International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) filled by the parent of patients. The data was analyzed using Chi Square test (?2) on SPSS 17.0 for Windows program. Results: From the analysis of relationship of parent knowledge about asthma triggers and asthma attack frequency on children obtained ?2 count rate of 5.629, p = 0.026, and C = 0,382. The C value indicates level of relationship of parent knowledge about asthma triggers and asthma attack frequency on children is 38,2%. Conclusions: There is a statistically significant relationship of parent knowledge about asthma triggers and asthma attack frequency on children. Keywords: parent knowledge, asthma attack frequency

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknik pemberian pakan ayam di mitra binaan masih tradisional, dan pemahaman peternak masih minim dalam pengelolaan pakan. Hal ini akan berdampak pada biaya produksi, yang secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi kelangsungan usaha. Tujuan pengabdian ini menerapkan alat teknologi pemberi pakan dengan kontrol wireless dan menambah pengetahuan peternak mengenai manajemen pakan yang baik. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian memperhatikan protokol kesehatan dimana kegiatan secara langsung dan terbatas. Tahapannya; Penerapan alat teknologi pemberi pakan di kandang ayam mitra B.A.P Production Kelurahan Karang Joang, Kota Balikpapan; Sosialisasi pemanfaatan iptek di bidang peternakan dan edukasi tentang manajemen pakan; Pendampingan teknis tim pelaksana kepada 2 orang karyawan mitra mengenai pengoperasian alat; Evaluasi dilakukan untuk memastikan alat bekerja efektif sesuai perancangan dilihat dari pendistribusian pakan yang pergerakannya dibantu oleh sistem mekanika motor DC. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya keterampilan dan pemahaman karyawan mitra. Adanya alat ini tugas pemberian pakan di kandang yang semula dilakukan oleh 3 orang, kini hanya cukup dilakukan oleh 1 orang saja melalui perangkat handphone.Abstract:  The chickens feeding technique in foster partners uses traditional techniques, and the understanding of farmers is minimal in feed management. It will have an indirect effect on business continuity, especially production costs. The program's objectives are to apply feed technology tools with wireless control and increase farmers' knowledge about good feed management. Implementing the Community Service Activity pays attention to health protocols where activities are direct and limited. The steps; Application of feeding technology tools in BAP Production partner chicken coops at Karang Joang, Balikpapan City; Socialization about science and technology in animal husbandry and education about feed management; Technical assistance of the implementation team to both of partnership employees regarding the operation of equipment; Evaluation to ensure the tool works effectively according to the design is seen from the distribution of feed whose movement is assisted by a DC motor mechanical system. The result of this activity improves the skills and understanding of partner employees. Before this tool works, three employees must operate the job and now only need one employee by a mobile device.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap penerapan sistem e-filing dan pemahaman perpajakan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak baik secara berbentuk CV dan koperasi yang terdaftar di KPP Pratama Makassar Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode analisis mengunakan uji statiktik regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) penerapan system e-filling berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak, (2) pemahaman perpajakan berpengaruh positif dn signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak, (3) penerpan system e-filling dan pemahaman perpjakan secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifkan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak berbentuk CV dan koperasi yang terdaftar di KPP Pratama Makassar Barat. Kata kunci : Penerapan sistem e-filing, pemahaman perpajakan,                      kepatuhan wajib pajak. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the partial and simultaneous effect on the implementation of the e-filing system and taxation on taxpayer compliance in the form of CV and cooperatives registered at KPP Pratama Makassar Barat. This type of research is quantitative research. The method of analysis using multiple linear regression statistical test. Abstract

This study aims to test the model whether attitude towards, subjective norms, perceived behavior control in the theory of Planned Behavior have a positive influence on entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors of private university female students in Klaten Regency. The research design was carried out using a quantitative method which explains the causal relationship between one dependent variable which is influenced by three independent variables and one mediating variable. Hypothesis testing is formulated in the model using the multivariate test. The population in the research were all university students in the Klaten Regency area who had started the initial ultra-micro business. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling as many as 180 respondents of female students as initial business actors.The final result of the quantitative model test using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) shows that there is a positive influence on attitude towards entrepreneurship and perceived behavior control on entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors. Meanwhile, one variable in the form of subjective norms does not significantly influence it. Future research can expand the model through testing the antecedents of intention to behavior by developing research designs through experimental research.

Abstract

Dental treatments generally need length of time period. The dental care consist of several steps and these steps should be performed in the cramped space which is patient’s mouth (oral cavity). Thus, dentists have potential on suffering for musculoskeletal injuries which may affect their quality of work. This is a descriptive study (observation and interviews) with cross-sectional approach. This study conducted observation on several ergonomic aspects include task, organizational, and environment; following with interviews on how were dental students performing scaling procedures The mean time of dental students in performing scaling was 28,38 ± 1,03 minutes, this period of time also cover all the time needed for several adjusting working positions taken by dental students on purpose to cover scaling on all of the teeth surfaces and regions. Dentists have risk for potential injuries resulted from non-ergonomic working attitude and static position. This indicated from increasing of Nordic Body Map scores after performing scaling with mean scores 13,87 ± 1,56, increasing eyes train scores up to 2,2 ± 0,27, and increasing work load which was calculated from hearth rate 23,45 ± 2,70 beats/menit. This study also assesses organizational and working environment which may affect dental students on performing scaling. The total ergonomic approach may be employed to solve the identified problems from ergonomic assessment on the scaling procedures performed by dental students at Dentistry Udayana University. Thus, it is expected that the approach can be solve the problems complained by dental students while performing scaling procedure, as well as assistant operators, patients, and others related parties without creating unnecessary side effects causing by the purposed adjustment. Abstract

Ketersediaan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat belajar siswa masih menjadi kendala di pihak guru sehingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis Game-based Learning (GBL) pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMPN 5 Polongbangkeng Utara, Kabupaten Takalar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima langkah, yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Uji coba dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan uji coba, yaitu: uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan. Untuk memperoleh data hasil uji coba, digunakan angket yang telah divalidasi. Data hasil angket dianalisis untuk mengetahui kesesuaian produk yang dikembangkan dengan tujuan khusus yang ingin dicapai. Berdasarkan pengujian validitas yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dinyatakan bahwa media yang dikembangkan mendapat penilaian sangat baik dan dapat digunakan. Selain itu, hasil uji coba pada guru dan siswa mendapat respon sangat baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA. The availability and use of learning media that can attract students’ learning interests is still an obstacle the teachers face until now. This research aims to develop an interactive multimedia with game-based learning (GBL) in the science subject in SMPN 5 State Junior High School of Polongbangkeng Utara, Takalar Regency. The development method used was a method adapted from ADDIE development model that is comprised of five steps, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. All data were collected from observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The trial was conducted in three stages of testing: individual tests, small group tests, and field tests. Validated questionnaires were used to acquire the data of the trials’ results. The data from the questionnaires were then analyzed to determine whether the developed product is compatible with the specific objective that wishes to be achieved. Based on the validity test conducted by material experts and media experts, the developed media was deemed excellent and usable. Furthermore, the teachers and students responded very well in the trials when the media was used in the science subject.

Abstract

Increased settlement numbers and population development can trigger an increase in the amount of waste produced in the environment. The purpose of the activities carried out is to improve people's understanding of the importance of environmental cleanliness and their involvement in cleaning and maintaining the environment. The methods used in this devotion are methods of socialization and participation. With this method, we invite the public to understand and be involved in maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding environment, both on land and in coastal areas. The results obtained by the community are quite enthusiastic and play an active role in these activities. It is hoped that the community is not only involved when there are joint activities with campuses and other institutions, but this can be a shared culture in the western village of catastrophe. Clean and healthy living is the key to a clean environment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 vaccination aims to make a person's immune system able to recognize and quickly fight the virus that causes infection, reducing the pain and death rates caused by this virus. As for supporting the government's program of providing vaccinations to the community, the Sorong Papuan Christian University (UKiP), in collaboration with the Tanjung Kasuari Health Center, has conducted mass vaccinations for the entire UKiP Sorong academic community, consisting of employees, lecturers, students, alumni, and the community. Implementing the COVID-19 mass vaccination activity was carried out twice, with the first stage being attended by 130 people, and the second stage being followed by 150 people. This shows the awareness shared by the campus and the community in trying to break the chain of the spread of the COVID-19 virus and assist the government in restoring the social and economic conditions of the Sorong City area affected by the pandemic.

Abstract

The concurrent elections became one of the agendas in the preliminary revised draft of the General Elections Bill by the Indonesian House of Representatives following Decision of Constitutional Court Number: 55/PUU-XVII/2019. One of the agendas proposed in revised bill was the separation between the national and local elections. The article uses the theory of embedded democracy to further identify several factors that underlie the importance of separating national and local elections in the concurrent election agenda. The relevant factors that come into play include political patterns of power and public participation, political party dynamics, the foundation of government superstructure, national-local government relations, as well as the advantages and drawbacks of voters’ personal sentiments. The substance of embedded democracy theory, as shown by the aforementioned factors, suggests that separation between national and local elections should be considered in the organization of the concurrent elections in Indonesia after the upcoming 2024 elections.AbstrakAgenda pemilu serentak menjadi salah satu muatan dari draft rancangan revisi UU Pemilu yang dilakukan oleh DPR setelah keluarnya Putusan MK No. 55/PUU-XVII/2019. Salah satu muatan agenda tadi adalah gagasan yang mencoba untuk memisahkan pemilu nasional dan pemilu lokal. Tulisan ini menggunakan teori demokrasi yang tertanam guna mengidentifikasi lebih lanjut beberapa faktor yang mendasari pentingnya pemisahan pemilu nasional dan pemilu lokal dalam agenda pemilu serentak. Beberapa faktor dimaksud yaitu pola politik kekuasaan dan partisipasi masyarakat, kehidupan partai politik, landasan suprastruktur pemerintahan, dan hubungan pusat-daerah, serta peluang dan tantangan sentimen pemilih itu sendiri. Substansi demokrasi tertanam teoritik sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh faktor-faktor tersebut menunjukkan bahwa skema pemilu nasional dan pemilu lokal yang dipisah, kiranya penting dipertimbangkan bagi penyelenggaraan agenda pemilu serentak di Indonesia sesudah Pemilu 2024 mendatang.

Abstract

Berbagai virus patogen merupakan masalah utama bagi usaha peternakan ayam di Indonesia yang menyebabkan menurunnya profitabilitas. Wabah virus di kandang merupakan faktor utama kerugian usaha peternak ayam. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat program studi bagi dosen ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapabilitas wirausaha serta memperbaiki mutu pengelolaan kesehatan kandang melalui penerapan biosekuritas. Model kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: 1) Pengembangan kapabilitas wirausaha melalui literasi pengetahuan peternak terhadap aspek aspek manajemen usaha dan 2) Transfer Literacy teknologi biosekuritas kandang. Dari kegiatan diperoleh hasil positif dimana peternak sebagai pembelajar antusias untuk mengikuti program pemberdayaan kapabilitas wirausaha. Peternak mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan manajemen usaha dan bermuara pada terbentuknya pengetahuan baru pengelolaan usaha serta perbaikan sistem biosekuritas kandang pelaku usaha ternak ayam di lingkungan di Desa Pucangan.
